It eventually calms my obsession to play.

The fact that a bo-peep sale of 9000 coins is able to move the market like it does is another problem, though.

I was a staunch believer in Darkcoin - and most assuredly I still am a believer in its tech superiority - mostly because of Evan and the community that is really great.

Alas, I also prefer to see profit over the loss. So, once Bitcoin has fallen below $300.00 I decided to go 50% - 50% DRK vs. BTC (I purchased enough Darkcoins below 0.005 to make a sell with the profit) and am not very happy with my ongoing profit on Bitcoin.

I will stay in Darkcoin for principal reasons. But I will never make a mistake of getting too emotionally involved with the idea (I was 100% in Darkcoin) that might not survive. The sheeple are a bunch of idiots and they flock together. Bitcoin is an ideal tool for the Overlords (being, basically transparent) and I am positive it would end up being a mainstream currency, accepted, adopted and corrupted by the Financial Crime Cartel, this way or another.

When I initially analyzed Darkcoins monetary value I came up to this formula:

* 22.67% of the world's economy is shadow economy;                                    
* if Bitcoin is (controlled) and DRK not; if 100% of all legal transactions are made in BTC, 22.67% are still left for DRK    
                           
* on May 29, 2014, DRK = $10.96 vs. BTC = $614.38                                    
* on May 29, 2014 DRK / BTC 0.01811                                    
* on May 29, 2014 BTC MC is $7,885,362,984                                    
* on May 29, 2014 DRK MC is $47,580,747                                      
* DRK / BTC MC ratio is >>> 0.603405919   ( on May 29, 2014)                        
* if DRK goes to parity of 1 DRK = 1 BTC, DRK MC would be    2667567714                  
* 1 DRK = 1 BRC gives DRK MC of >>> 33.82923029   % of the BTC MC                     
                                    
* 22.67% shadow economy vs. 33.83% max MC ratio ~ some DRK = 0.80 BTC is kind of a max value for DRK            

So I still believe there's a possibility for Darkcoin to survive and thrive and if I am going to make money in the future, in crypto, on FOREX, working, inheriting (yeah, right) I will increase my DRK position, but for now on I will focus on having only 25% of my portfolio in Darkcoin.

I'd rather buy more at $15 ++ in the future than at $1.93 today. Why's that? Because at $15 it would've been confirmed that Darkcoin adoption may have a chance. Today it is too risky.

But, at 50% - 50% I already feel better

What is more revealing is that all these big mouths here couldn't even gobble up the fire-sale when it was happening. All posers I would conclude. Loud mouth know it all nothings. With zero dollars and zero DRK in their pockets. Could not even grab a piddly 5000 DRK on a fire sale for all their talk and bravado. Now it will sit there until I decide what to do with the remainder. How about that. I decide. Me. What to do with my DRK coins.

I thought my explanation for selling was plain and simple. What imaginary "douche" and "uncouthness" can you possibly find in that?  That is my reason for selling nothing more nothing less.

The only thing I didn't like was his uncouth behaviour.  DRK will rise back to its recent "stable zone" in a day or two imho.

He is lying, it was my friend who dumped the coins yesterday, he got freaked out by the Mintpal fiasco and wanted out of crypto. I told him to calm down, but it didn't help.

Everyone trades for a reason. Whether you sit there with your thinking cap on computing this and that and everything under the sun trying to make it work, desperately hoping for success in the future, or on a gut reason. You are obviously certainly entitled to hold or trade for whatever reason you see fit, be it believing that this particular coin will "very soon" reach 300 USD a unit. Or not. Along with that clown that surfaces every 5 minutes with his nonsense twitter account spam, coupled with this idiot and his lottery, my gut instinct is to move on. Nothing is happening with this coin as far as I can see. Zero movement even at the release of the all important technical information in the past week. The coin lacks marketing. You can have the brightest minds and a room full of geniuses creating and developing a coin, but if you are incapable of broadcasting what it is to the masses it will remain just that; a novel highly technical and sound coin that only the top of the class can and will ever appreciate. When that shark came in for the kill yesterday to feed of the followers and they fed him, it revealed to me it is time to move on.

Don't bother talking to him like he's a normal person.
He came here, bragging that he dumped because of a completely ridiculous reason, and now he is threatening (lol) us with even more dumps, ... he is obviously an attention whore like any other troll we have seen here.

I am the one that sold 9000 DRK yesterday. I will tell you the reason why. It was on an irritation because of this insidious spammer and his lottery that surfaced in the past few days. Yesterday every two seconds this shithead appeared bumping his garbage lottery under the thinly disguised pretense of doing good for DRK, when in fact all it is doing is lining his own pocket. If you look at the numbers you can see what he is in for. More importantly his syrupy disingenuous facade reminded me of the con artists that run amok on the DOGE forums gushing and cooing and wooing their naive that participate in that coin with all sorts of slimy extraction tactics to separate those fools from their coins. This shithead yesterday was all over this forum bumping his junk lottery every two seconds, then has the unmitigated gal to request for donations to pay for his across the US vacation. He slipped that request in cunningly after copy and pasting his intention to promote bitcoin first with the added in brackets suggestion the trip could promote DRK as well. Not less than an hour later he resurfaces with cap in hand trying to extricate DRK donations for it.  He's nothing more than a repulsive smooth talking con-artist. Because of this and because it reminded me of the scum that inhabit the DOGE community it made me second think about continuing to hold DRK. If this is the direction it is taking I have no interest. The anonymity of the coin in this single foolish endeavor compromises the user that bought into his self interest scheme. Your IP and address are forever intertwined. This slithery shithead gave me pause for thought as to what exactly is going on with DRK. And that is nothing. Once the con-artists surface and capitalize on the dedicated believers, it is time to move on.

Be aware, I will be dumping a further 5000 coins later today or tomorrow.

More interestingly to me is my overall portfolio read yesterday before getting rid of the coins @ 30,000 USD, today it reads @ 55,000 USD.
