Bellingham is about to be a part of Real Madrid now and this must be very exciting for both sides now. Because Real Madrid are continuing to strengthen the midfield a lot and to invest in their future at the same time. Because Kroos and Modric's contracts are running out by the end of the season and I assume there won't be any extension with any of them.
Young players are starting to take their places from now on and Bellingham is going to be one of them. Bellingham must also be very happy to play for one of the biggest teams in Europe.

Such a poor night for Milan really. I didn't see as big effort as I expected from them. Because there were big problems with the shots. This 2-0 loss already in the first game can be a serious issue for Milan in the second leg. I was expecting Inter to play good but this was more than I expected. After capturing this psychological advantage Inter can most probably eliminate them.
I wonder why Inzaghi didn't prefer Lukaku in the starting lineup this time. He has been in a good shape recently actually.

Inter and Milan are like they are competing against each other everywhere now. Because while they are fighting for top four in the Serie A they are going to be playing against each other in the Champions League two times as well. The first leg is even tonight and the result of that game could be really effective in their performance in their next Serie A games.
It feels like Inter will be winning the first leg and this will cause Milan players to have a reduced morale for their upcoming Serie A game. Because Inter's condition for a few weeks has been more impressive than their opponents'. Lukaku has been in a great shape for example.

It was a pretty interesting game honestly. In the first half Manchester City were the much more effective side but Real Madrid scored a goal. In the second half Real Madrid started to make some improvement in their effort and this time Manchester City found the equalizer. De Bruyne's goal was as great as Vinicius Junior's honestly.
This game didn't go very well for Haaland. He didn't get so many opportunities first of all and he wasn't good at benefiting from the ones he got as well. But I think this scenario will be different in Etihad. I expect him to be better at scoring then and Manchester City can eliminate Real Madrid home.

Next week we are going to be in another race week and this time we are in Italy. Last week Verstappen did a really great work by winning the race despite starting at the 9th position. This was very helpful for him to increase the point gap with Perez in driver standings to 14 as well. Fastest lap was also on him so it was a really solid race by him there.
Perez is really ambitious this season. He is doing his best with this very fast car. He would like to prevent the gap from getting bigger in the next race. Maybe he can take another pole position there but when it comes to a win his job will still be difficult against Verstappen of course. He has a more skilled opponent against himself in the end.

Nottingham - Southampton is such an important game for getting out of the relegation zone. Especially Nottingham still have a big chance to get out of this zone as they have the same points with Leicester. They should be even more motivated than Southampton in this game. They have so many missing players due to injuries. But they are still a productive team considering especially their last three games in the league.
I think we will see both teams scoring here and Nottingham can win by a score like 2-1. In the worst case we should be seeing a draw as I don't think Southampton will win this one.

The odd gap between Roma and Leverkusen for the first leg isn't very narrow right now. But I would have expected them closer to each other honestly. Because I don't think there is still a big difference between these teams now. Besides Roma aren't even in a good condition recently. There is some significant level of drop in their performance and they got a loss against Inter new as well.
Leverkusen also lost their last game but they seem more dedicated in the recent times. This makes me think like they can resist their opponent in Italy very well too.

We are starting with the Real Madrid - Manchester City game to the semi finals officially. Manchester City are the side favoured for the win which isn't surprising at all. Because they are literally unstoppable recently. Especially Haaland is very tough to be stopped. Real Madrid need to care about their defense more than ever before. If they can't mark him then the result can be really bad for them.
I still think Real Madrid won't be losing the first game. We might see a draw in this one but I'm not that positive about them as for the second leg.

There is a really great competition for top four among Leipzig, Union Berlin and Freiburg right now. The previous week was in favour of Leipzig a lot. They had a tough away game against Freiburg but they still won the game nicely. Union Berlin's losing to Augsburg made things easier for Leipzig to reach the third position all of a sudden. But the rivalry is still fired up very much.
There is another important game for top four next week which is between Union Berlin and Freiburg this time. Leipzig can turn this into an advantage by beating Bremen and I think Leipzig will finish at the 3rd position as well.

Bernardo Silva is a target for PSG now. He was a target for Barcelona as well before but Manchester City didn't give any good signal to them about that. Because I don't think Manchester City would let go of him easily now. Silva has been one of the most beneficial players for the team for a long time. I was thinking the same for Cancelo but they let him go to Bayern Munich interestingly.
But it doesn't feel like they would do the same for Silva unless they get an offer which is hard to reject. If we see PSG and Barcelona both fight for him then I think his choice could be Barcelona. Because their style is quite familiar with Manchester City thanks to Guardiola.

I believed in Manchester United so much that I lost my bet on their victory against West Ham. I had both teams to score on another one of my parlays but it lost as well. It was an unfortunate day for me and the Red Devils both. The issues in defense were clear already as the main centre-backs were still injured. But this still can't be an excuse for Manchester United.
They should have been more effective in scoring goals. This is their second game in a row in the league that they don't score a single goal. They are just giving all the chances to Liverpool to get past them to reach top four.

Maybe Real Madrid can't win the La Liga title this season but still they are better than Barcelona as for the success rate in the Champions League. This has got clearer in the recent years I mean. Barcelona have clearly been struggling in big games there which have blocked the way for them to reach upper rounds. This is a really serious issue for Barcelona in my opinion.
Maybe Xavi is doing well in the La Liga but the fans would like to see more than that. Xavi will need to prepare his players and strategies special to Champions League games from now on. They have a potential so they should go for it.

That apology video by Messi was really a professional move by Messi in my opinion. He was ready to do what the team want to do with him too as he stated. Maybe he doesn't want to stay here for now but he still doesn't act like he can do whatever he would like. This is an important attitude to have even if you are one of top players in football history. I appreciate it.
I hope that Messi stays at PSG for one more year at least if we don't see him returning to Barcelona this summer.

Juventus have been doing really good for two weeks in the league. However they had better win the rest of their games as well because I'm still worried about their future. Their punishment of 15 points can come back again and then they might not even be able to join a European tournament next season. If they win all their remaining games they might have a chance to qualify for a tournament anyway depending on the other teams.
But of course their priority should be to win the Europa League title as it is the only way of joining the Champions League in that case.

I'm quite surprised with seeing Chelsea winning their game against Bournemouth. Honestly I wasn't expecting them to win this one as they have been horrible for a long time. But it is good for them to finish this losing streak with a win finally. I don't know whether there would be more to come. But it doesn't matter much anymore for this season anyway.
Next season is the most important point now. They need to sign a good manager who can help this team recover and bring back their old days slowly. Transfers they will make in the summer are also important for the success.

Mason Mount is still a target for Liverpool now. Chelsea don't look like they are intending to keep him for long years. Mount has been willing to stay as long as he gets a proper offer as well. But if things go on like this it looks like Liverpool will be signing him this summer. Liverpool must be wishing to increase the number of good alternatives in the attacking line.
However I wonder if Mount can start playing like before after joining them. Actually he is still very young so why not? It depends on Klopp to find the right role for him and give more chances.

This is a big advantage taken by Lens after beating Marseille once again. I think that this was enough to prove them they are better than Marseille this season. Besides they are two points ahead of Marseille now which could be very useful on the remaining four game weeks. As far as I see now Lens' remaining fixtures are more comfortable than them in general.
Because Marseille will have a game against Lille away as well. As Lille are also fighting for a spot in a European cup they would make big difficulties for them. I'm still supporting Marseille for the 2nd position but it looks like they might not be successful at it.

After getting angry at Russell in the Azerbaijan GP this time Verstappen must be really frustrated after Leclerc's simple mistake and having an accident after. Leclerc also stated that he was so sad about making this mistake twice on the same race week. Perez has a good opportunity in hand as a result but let's see how effectively he will use it. He was pretty impressive in the previous race.
Verstappen would be the only threat to him even though Verstappen will start in 9th position. I wonder how determined he will be this time to overtake Perez and be the winner.

Bad loss for Lazio today, it was a disappointing match... But they have, much probably, reached third place/Champions League qualification...its a great result for sure... this result isnt a real issue for their current rank
Lazio's defeat has not moved Lazio from their position for now but of course it will also shift in the end if only Juventus manages to beat Atalanta tomorrow, of course Lazio's defeat is not wanted by many people and certainly many people are disappointed with that result. Milan surprised us and they played better than ever. I think Lazio is still in the top 4 and they still have a chance to be there to get a UCL ticket next season, this defeat of course has to be a lesson for Lazio so that in the next match they can play even better considering that their defense was not so good and made mistakes. until their goal conceded in the 16th minute and that made Lazio's confidence decrease and in the end they had to suffer defeat in today's match. Lazio's losing to Milan without even scoring a goal wasn't my expectation at all. I was expecting Lazio players to put up a good fight against their opponent. But they were a little complacent here. Maybe they didn't want to play their best game while they were already in a good position in top four. However it was an important win for Milan as well while Inter were winning on the same week. I predicted Inter's getting points against Roma right but Roma couldn't even score one goal. It was a pretty poor game by them especially as for shots on target. The most impressive one was the shot saved by Onana in a wonderful way. |

There is a game between West Ham and Manchester United as well today. This is an important one for both sides actually. Because West Ham are fighting for staying away from the relegation zone as well. On one hand Manchester United have started to lose points recently which has been a big help for Liverpool to catch up for a top four chance.
But Manchester United are still the advantageous side in this top four fight as they have an additional missing game other than this one. They must fight better to make up for the loss against Brighton. My first option to bet on is both teams to score and I might add Manchester United's victory in one of my parlays as well.
