Chelsea are rumoured to have started to be interested in Folarin Balogun. On one hand Inter are out in this according to reports. Still the number of candidates is increasing day by day. The reason for this is of course the serious improvement in Balogun's performance.
Chelsea are still trying to sell Lukaku. If they manage to do this it would be even better for them. They can use that money for Balogun directly. Of course they are a rich team but I mean Lukaku is already not wanted there.

Maccabi Tel Aviv goalkeeper Daniel Peretz is said to be close to signing for Bayern Munich now. He is only 23 years old now and I don't even have much knowledge about him. They say that he has a good potential. But is it really what Bayern Munich want right now?
I mean do they really need a goalkeeper like him instead of an experienced one? David de Gea is said not to be coming to Bayern Munich. I wish he came instead of this young goalkeeper they have found. I don't know whether he can do at least as good as Sommer for now.

Liverpool will need to make up for their poor performance against Chelsea. Because they were pretty inadequate when it comes to finding the target. They handed over the control of the game to Chelsea as well. Therefore this needs to change by their next game.
I hope the same scenario doesn't happen for Liverpool this season. I remember how they demolished Bournemouth in the previous season and how the rest of the season went on as well. This time they need to be consistent and hopefully they can with the help of the new transfers too.

Roma will not have Tammy Abraham for this season and if they have him, it will be very late months of this season. They will have to use Dybala, Belotti and El Sharawy as their main attacking players. Maybe they will use Bove more on their attacking area as with some new midfielders like Paredes, Sanchez, their midfield will have better resource.
This season will be an interesting one for Bove who can climb up more and upgrade his skills, performance and career a lot.
I have looked into Tammy Abraham's injury and saw the return date as January 2024. But he is still going to be missing the first half of the season which is serious for Roma. I'm not sure about Belotti honestly. Because he couldn't make any proper contribution to the team last season. He played in most of the games in the league but only made 2 assists that's all. Dybala is going to be the main player on the centre-forward position to be relied on. He is a crucial player for Mourinho to be his goal source this season. |

Atletico Madrid's next opponent is Betis in an away game. I think this is a quite challenging game for Atletico Madrid. They are still the favourite by a decent gap of odds though. But I don't expect the final score to be a big one. Because Betis are a really good fighter.
Especially if they score the first goal then Atletico Madrid's job about winning the game will be much more difficult. But one way or another I think Atletico Madrid will manage to be victorious. Morata started the season decently by a goal so maybe we would see another one here as well.

Chelsea didn't have a bad start. Their opponent was Liverpool in the end even though the game was in Stamford Bridge. But they still had most ball possession and seemed quite decent in most parts of the game as well. Liverpool looked quite incapable with finding the target.
After this draw I think Chelsea will fight harder for the win next time. They are going to face West Ham in an away game and they are clearly the favourite side. I think this will be the game Chelsea get their first 3 points. But maybe the final score might be a close one like a win by one goal.

Cancelo is going out from Manchester City.
In case his deal with Barcellona will not go to his end, he will leave for Saudi League, according to rumors he already has a potential deal there.
He isn't a wanted man at Manchester City anymore and I just don't how things developed this quick either. Because not a very long time ago Cancelo was doing great and he was one of the loved players. I assume there were some personal issues which resulted in like this. I would like to watch him in the La Liga rather than the Saudi Arabia league honestly. But let's see whether Barcelona can finish the deal without issues. If they were freer on their transfers I assume the deal would have ended already. |

Kane is such a special striker that he started to adapt right away. In his first game in the Bundesliga already he scored a goal and made an assist. I wasn't waiting for him to start playing this much effective for at least some weeks honestly. But this is great news for Bayern Munich.
Besides they were really dominant against Werder Bremen as well. Bayern Munich started the season with a very dominant game and win. I think the old Bayern Munich spirit is back again now.

I have found Manchester City's odds for the win against Newcastle quite high interestingly. I don't know why it is like that but I will still be favouring them to win the game. De Bruyne is absent maybe but just because of that they won't be weak in the end.
Newcastle started the season with an amazing victory over Aston Villa you know. But I think their job is going to be pretty difficult in Etihad although they are in great shape. It should be another game which is in Manchester City's control. I just don't expect a big win. The final score might be like 2-0 or 2-1.

When Sevilla got ahead I really thought about whether they would manage to beat Manchester City for the Super Cup title. It would have been a dream start for Sevilla but they couldn't prevent Manchester City from making a comeback and win. They still did their best against one of the best teams in Europe.
Sevilla couldn't start the season in the La Liga either but hopefully they will make up for that. Next time they are going to be playing away against Alaves. This is a game that they are the favourite side on paper. But they need to play carefully. I expect them to win by one goal.

Roma can be the least spending team among the top teams in the Serie A this summer. Because they spent only 2.5 million euros for Leandro Paredes and there is no other transfer fee to have been paid for the other transfers. We have seen some free and loan signings.
They just wanted to make some additions to the defense and midfield. There isn't a huge change in their squad so I wonder how good they can be this time. Honestly I believe they still have a really decent squad which can do better than the previous season. Mourinho needs to make progress in the league from now on.

Bayern Munich have been reported to have an interest in Heung-min Son. The reason must be to reunite Kane with a familiar name to ease his adaptation process here. This would be a lovely move for the German side honestly. Son is a very skilled winger as you know.
There has been a great understanding of each other between Kane and Son for years. They can be much more deadly when they play together. However I don't know what Son thinks about this rumour. Besides maybe Tottenham chairman Levy wouldn't like to lose him at the same time.

Tottenham - Manchester United is going to be one of the attention getting games this week. Tottenham are going to play their second game without Kane in the season. In the first one they weren't very bad. But the weaknesses in defense still goes on. They are at least staying productive now. In that game Maddison contributed great by 2 assists as well.
Richarlison is their new main centre-forward from now on. But I'm curious about how good they can play against Manchester United. In the previous season in the same game Kane played but only made an assist. They barely saved one point after getting 2-0 behind. Let's see what happens this time. I think the Red Devils won't lose again.

Chelsea are said to be close to agreeing a deal with Romeo Lavia. I wasn't expecting to see them going for him as well after signing Caicedo by spending a lot of money like 115 million pounds. I don't know whether they need another defensive midfielder right now. Because they already have many options in this position.

Joao Cancelo still remains a target for Barcelona to be signed as soon as possible. A loan formula is likely to happen like I said before. Barcelona can't spend so much money these days no matter how good their financial condition is. FFP rules are forcing them to make transfers with minimum amount of money spent.
Most probably their remaining transfer targets all can sign on loan only. They need to act quicker than this though as there isn't much time left for the end of the transfer window. Besides they should push harder for a winger transfer on one hand if they want to fill Dembele's space.

I don't think, De Bruyne absence will affect Manchester city performance because there are potential players on bench who can handle his position very well till he recover from injury, because people will use that four months to know if truly Manchester city manager is a talented manager because one tree can never make a forest. This is the time Pep Guardiola to go and work hard because this can be a test for Manchester city president to Pep Guardiola to know how strong he is to the team, and what he will do Incas all those players be release to other teams in future. I believe Erling Haaland will definitely do things that will make Manchester city to maintain that first position till De Bruyne recover from injury to keep the good name of the team. De Bruyne played in 49 games in total in the previous season. He had direct or indirect contribution to 41 goals. Therefore his absence will definitely be felt by everyone in the team. I also hope that Guardiola can find a good solution to his absence to prevent a big productivity loss for the team and I believe he will. De Bruyne and Haaland has a great relationship in games now. Thanks to this good cooperation Manchester City have been even more productive at scoring goals. Players like Bernardo Silva can also make great assists to Haaland. Therefore I think Bernardo Silva's value is even bigger now. |

When Milan became the champions two seasons ago they didn't have the best squad in the league. Their player quality wasn't much better than this but they still made it. It is about staying disciplined and focused as much as possible. I think their squad is in good condition in general after the most recent transfers.
Now Pioli needs to work hard on having a good chemistry among the players. As long as his system works well for everyone they might be able to enter the title race once again. Their job isn't going to be easy of course but they can at least do better than last season.

Dortmund are starting with a home game against Koln. They haven't made many transfers so far and they have lost Bellingham as well. Nmecha and Sabitzer are the names who have been signed so far for Bellingham's position. Sabitzer is the one they say that they have signed to replace Bellingham actually but we will see.
He is an experienced decent player and hopefully he will make a good contribution. Bensebaini is another player who has been signed on free transfer. I think their squad is still okay even though they haven't been much active in the transfer market. I expect them to start with a victory.

Marseille had a shocking result in the Champions League qualifiers. They conceded a last minute goal first which extended the game more and Panathinaikos eliminated them by penalty shoot-outs. This is one of the worst starts Marcelino could have with the team. Normally this isn't a very challenging matchup for Marseille.
The board will be really disappointed with this result so Marcelino have a big responsibility in the Ligue 1 from now on. The main target must be to qualify for the Champions League group stage directly this time. This means to finish in top 3. Normally there were 2 teams going there directly but the league has gained one more quota.
