2661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rare Batman art sold for ~$200K (302.5 ETH (~$111K) and 540.86 ETH) on: October 20, 2020, 04:36:44 PM
I think it is more about the context than anything else, there are now painters who are actually doing realistic drawing that you could can't see the difference from a photograph, like literally looks like a photo when you look at it with each and ever detail into it, you could google "hyper realistic drawing" and you will see the results. Do you think those people can't draw stuff like this? They can draw whatever they want if they can draw reality like a photo.

However there are context involved as well, and art is all about context, usually even the artist itself can't make it change neither. Banksy got one of his pictures sold and the moment it was sold it got shredded and now it worths even more, even banksy couldn't stop it becoming nothing in the end.

The difference between gambling on dice or similar games and gambling on bets is the fact that in sportsbetting there is a chance that you could be almost always right and that is more than enough. There was talks about playing 100 dollars (or any amount) on each game Liverpool played last year and being on the profit.

This year they didn't started that well but they are still doing great, so on betting there is a bigger chance to make profit because if you wager on the highest chance of happening, more than likely it will happen and on the rare times it doesn't happen you will recoup whenever it gets back. So, you have to realize that one of them is automatically decided and guarantees a loss in long term, other has a human matter in it that changes constantly.

^Marketing is not always for getting more and more customers neither. Sure there is a situation when you do marketing you want to acquire customers and the better your rate of money spent on each customer the better for you in those ones.

However signature campaign is not there to acquire customers most of the time, sure that is a good bonus if you could get a lot of people and that is what everyone would hope for, but the main idea when it first started was to get your name heard, when you are a brand new casino you did signature campaigns so that people would know who you are, and when you are an old one you would have promotions and campaigns that you want people to know so you did signature campaigns. Basically it was a PR move instead of just getting more money for your buck.
2664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Altcoins That Suddenly Make the Top 25 Marketcap List? on: October 18, 2020, 08:01:05 PM
I think they are looking into CMC a lot as well, because you can have like a billion dollar coin if you want to, as long as there is just 10 people who are buying and selling and they are all in the project that means they can fake a 100+ billion dollar market cap if they want to, which cmc can't allow it to happen which is why it is important to vet all these altcoins very carefully about how much the volume is, what the marketcap is, what the price is but at the same time about the liquidity as well.

CMC when exchanged hands and became binance's thing it became really important to care about the liquidity as well. With that changed the lists became a lot more realistic, it is not like the old CMC when even the silliest things could have shot up high for a day or two but with fake movements.
2665  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is rising suddenly ? on: October 18, 2020, 06:57:11 PM
Bitcoin didn't even moved that suddenly, it was around $10.6k to $10.8k which isn't that far away from each other at around $11.3k which is right now, we are talking about around 600 dollars or so movement, and that is not even 5% move, and in bitcoin world, even though we hate to see it that way, we could say that bitcoin doesn't really move 5% that rarely, I would love to see a stable bitcoin and make it like go up very small and small to a higher level eventually instead of all these moves.

However we have seen 5% spread in bitcoin prices, so it is quite common that bitcoin moves that way, sure 5% spread daily is not common but 5% movements are common, so let's not react like what happened here is "sudden" and "shocking", I would have been surprised if it was over $13-14k by now, but not at $11.3k price.
2666  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin over $10,000 for the past 66 days on: October 18, 2020, 04:06:23 PM
It is not going to be 30k anytime soon at all, it is going to be decent for sure, I am not saying it is not going to go up, it will definitely go up eventually, all I am saying is when it goes up it is not going to be like a 30k type of going up, that is why I believe we should not be too hyped about it.

Because when you get hyped like crazy and end up with something like 20k in price, you still wait for 30k and then it goes down and you lose all your money if you bought at around 20k levels, so be ready for fall whenever it happens. That would be the best way to go, buy like it is going up, be ready like it might go down. At that point you take advantage of any ups, and you do not get hurt by any lows neither, it would be very helpful for everyone involved in trading.
2667  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: October 17, 2020, 07:01:01 PM
I would be willing to participate in a group like that, but when it is unofficial and someone else is the owner of that telegram group I wouldn't be interested as much. If stake has a professional one with admins and so forth (or called mods for group I suppose?) which is why I would say if stake would open a telegram group, that would be a lot better.

Think about it, the chat on the website is incredibly fast, if it was only a stake telegram group, that would be less chatted and people would be able to actually talk about things. You could also separate the groups as well, sportsbook could stay sportsbook and there would be for gambling as well. Obviously this is not a "must" thing, they could ignore this request and nothing would change, it is just something that would be good to have.

I am really really happy about Sarr especially, that dude can carry a whole offense all alone some days, I mean he is no superstar obviously but for championship level, that dude could basically go up and with the ball can go by some people and score all by himself time to time and if he wins like 4-5 games like that, that is like 15 points at the end of the season thanks to that.

Our defense is solid as well, there is nothing wrong with the defense, I would say maybe what we could have a would be a great playmaker, right now we are having hard time actually having those long passes behind the defense, a decent midfield would actually allow us to have something like that so that we can pass through passes to the attackers to have a sudden chance, our defense would keep the other team scoreless and that one good pass would make a big change.
2669  Economy / Economics / Re: State influence for cryptocurrency on: October 17, 2020, 04:33:21 PM
It is not about being centralized or decentralized, it is about not belonging to any nation for specific. Now you may think that just because it is not something that belongs to one nation it means decentralized but that is not the issue. Ripple is highly centralized for example but it doesn't belong to any nation at all, so it could be both centralized but not belong to any nation at the same time.

This means during a pandemic recession it could not be impacted at all because it doesn't belong to any nation, but not because it is decentralized. It gains value because it is decentralized though, that is the main reason why bitcoin is not dropping like everything else, because people do trust it, since it is not anyone's, we could trust it a lot without worrying about any mismanagement.
2670  Economy / Economics / Re: How can Bitcoin help build a digital global? on: October 16, 2020, 08:44:33 PM
Normally printing money could also mean you do not have a high inflation but it depends on the population as well. If you have 100 million dollars and 100 million people that us 1 dollar per person, if you have 200 million dollars for 200 million people that is still 1 dollar per person, so there is no inflation with that. You could get products from all over the world but you could also sell, there are plenty of stuff that could mean you could print money and still not have huge inflation.

The problem here is the fact that none of that happens currently, it is basically all for nothing and the inflation happens due to absolutely no change at all and no protection at all. We should not be worried about printing money, we should be worried about "why" we print money in the first place.
2671  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Supply Growth Has Never Been As High As It Is Today on: October 16, 2020, 06:44:26 PM
It is quite true that when politicians decide on the faith of the economy and not the economists, things usually do not look good for that nations economy. Not only because economists know economy better than politicians, because that is not always true, if the politician is considering the best interest of the public (rarely ever happens unfortunately) and economists thinks of their rich friends, that means politician "may" make a better decision.

The real reason is the fact that fed knows the big rich whales and if there is anything that is done by politicians to upset them that fed is against, that means those whales could hurt the economy more than the stimulus or anything else could help the world. Hence, I think networking and knowing what would upset the markets is a big deal too.
2672  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie needs advice on sending USD to the US from Crypto Exchange on: October 16, 2020, 05:47:55 PM
Best and most clear way to do it is using coinbase if you have a bank account in USA, that way you would be capable of actually doing the trade and withdrawing to the bank account.

A lot of people say they do not like coinbase and I understand that if there is this much pattern of them not being liked by people, that could mean that they are not right neither, but if you have all the information (KYC related) that they require I feel like it shouldn't be a problem. That way you could buy bitcoin with your local fiat, send that coins to coinbase account, then exchange it for dollars and withdraw it to your bank account.

But you do need a usa bank account for that, if you do not have that you can't send it to someone elses bank account, it will be flagged as false.
2673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any Crypto with stable change and good trading volume? on: October 16, 2020, 05:09:24 PM
I guess there is, they change, there isn't just one, but that idea does happen time to time and you have to find that and hit that trade very quickly before it changes. Why? Because when there is a coin that is as perfect as you request, which does happen, people all jump into it, when they do jump into it they make the volume skyrocket which makes the coin be more known and that causes people to actually trade it up and down and suddenly if they are not seeing what they like the price crashes and it takes a while to recover while many leave because of it, and rest just becomes a community and coin ceases to be what you ask from it.

So, the answer is yes, there are ones like that, but that requires you to be a bit more researching to see what is the coin of the month constantly.
2674  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does having a lot of investing money make trading for a living much easier? on: October 16, 2020, 04:03:34 PM
Exponential wealth accumulation is not something people understand that clearly. When you have 10k and make 1k profit, that is not the same as having 100m and making 1m profit, they are not remotely close to each other.

One person doesn't even have to work anymore for money, he is super rich and will never need money ever again unless he does something idiotic, whereas the other person just made 1k, which even on the poorest nation, cannot make you live forever, maybe a year at the very best case and probably not even that much.

So, rich do not just get richer, rich also makes it very difficult for you to make money as well, that is the difference, the more wealth they accumulate, the less wealth you have a chance to make from the pool of money available.
2675  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: October 15, 2020, 07:26:41 PM
The leagues are coming back very soon and I am very happy about it. I know that nations league type of format was to make sure that nationals get to play a bit as well, I see this tournament as useless as it gets, I want leagues back.

Playing on premier league and la liga and even bundesliga (which I rarely do) is something I have missed so much lately and just as it returned it went back again with a break. In any case these nations league games weren't all that shocking, whatever was assumed usually happened, nothing that shocking means sportsbet.io didn't had a great day but the gamblers probably made with it all day, between all the individual bets that probably hit and all the multis that might have hit I feel like it was a big win day for all of us.
2676  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice on platform where I can trade for my friends (not too expensive) on: October 15, 2020, 05:36:54 PM
I would say instead of you making the trade for them without reaching their accounts, you should probably tell them what to do and when to do it, that way you could build some sort of signal group in telegram that they can follow.

You could also put some sort of alert if they are too late they shouldn't react as well, that way if they are there and see you giving a signal they will buy with you and they could sell when you tell them to sell as well, but if they are not there that means they won't make any kind of movement at all as well because they are too late.

This way you are not taking control of anything, which I highly suggest because it is quite important to not take control over their money, even if the website gets hacked or scams they might think you are the cause.
2677  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All most 75 exchanges and tradings have been dead in 2020 on: October 15, 2020, 04:38:44 PM
If we are going with how many of them got cancelled or scammed people we are going to have a lot of trouble, however if you want to be happy about this, you could just how much of them actually made it work as well, just binance alone made a lot improvements and they have been working towards reaching a billion dollar company level, they bought CMC for 400 million dollars as reported so I am assuming they are already making a billion dollars in profit as well, or maybe they just gave in shares.

I still think that bitcoin world is new, I know it has been 10 years but I think in 10 more or even longer we are going to see so much improvements that it is not going to be remotely similar, its going to be something much better and bigger.
2678  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I Don't undestood why not use funds to earn stable profit on: October 14, 2020, 06:57:44 PM
Because, almost all of them are fake and short term things that would be unsustainable and eventually exit scam with your money in their pockets? We all know who you are, you keep asking idiotic questions, your only aim probably is to troll people and bother everyone, there will eventually be a moment where either you will give up or you will be banned so all of this will stop.

But to everyone else who wonder the same thing, people do not put their money to other people because they could be fake and they do not want to get scammed, if they were so gullible they would put all their money into savings accounts into banks for an interest income as well but they are not, they know better and they came to bitcoin because they wanted to be their own banks.
2679  Economy / Speculation / Re: Small dip in BTC price after Trump stimulus tweet on: October 14, 2020, 06:05:11 PM
Funny thing is, dude doesn't want the stimulus check until the election is over but he wants to elect the new SCOTUS so that the court would be packed. Dude probably doesn't even care about it, considering in either 1 month or in 4 years dude would be out and since he is a known huge narsisistic person he doesn't care about if scotus is filled with conservative judges or liberal judges, that is not something he cares about, he doesn't see the world republican vs democrat like many politicians do, he sees it me vs them and the moment his job is done dude would probably be fine with filled liberal scotus seats as long as he is not bothered.

And stimulus check? Not giving it to people right now is basically a way of saying "Biden won't, but I will if you elect me, otherwise you are screwed" and nothing else, dude is a major idiot, Biden would do it in a heartbeat with ton more money to people who need it.
2680  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Big Short movie, BTC edition? on: October 14, 2020, 05:29:39 PM
Why shouldn't bitcoin be strong after those news? I realize that you may think some of them are related to bitcoin itself so the price should be affected but I do not see it that way at all. Think about it there are three things that are "major" in the crypto news cycles and none of them directly impacts the price right away, maybe the idea got hurt (which it didn't) but the price itself had nothing at all.

Think about it this way, bitmex ceo got jailed, and that had nothing to do with people buying or selling bitcoin at all, it is owner of a company in crypto and that's it, derivatives banned (which is great) which still doesn't stop people from buying or selling, or Johm Mcafee got jailed, which is a great news and still no buying and selling affected, NONE of these affects the price directly.
