2741  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: October 16, 2015, 06:25:03 PM
you could try investing into some alt coins that has potential to rise in the future
also gambling is another option if you dont want alt coins

which alt coins do you suggest?

im kinda worried cause they can drop at any given time.. what are you currently doing? as for the gambling comment, I dont think thats a good choice. I think the alt coin route seems to have better chances no?

this is a question that you should avoid asking :/

because nobody is going to tell you the truth and show you a good altcoin to invest in. go to the altcoin section, and check out the market and price changes at http://coinmarketcap.com/ with charts and history.
you should find a good one on your own.

This guy is 100% correct. Alts are well-known for being manipulated. If someone tells you to buy in to one, it's just as likely to be a P&D scheme (where they're hoping to unload on you) as it is a legitimate opportunity.

We are nearly in profit zone now :O

Good! Let's get it up so we can get dividends next month, Smiley.
2743  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [ANN] MinerFarm - Virtual Mining Game for Real Bitcoin on: October 16, 2015, 06:22:39 PM
I attempted to address this with Alister directly but unfortunately I guess the believe to just ignore it was better.  My account is being blocked with a reason of SPAM?  Just because you don't like what I post in regards to the inaccurate cost associated with this game doesn't mean I'm a spammer or a troll or any other misrepresentation you attempt to place on me.  Perhaps you can also explain why I was charged power costs when the miner and power supply were not operating and powered off, or is that another item being used to punish me for pointing out the flaws with this game?  Stating that is supposed to be real world, seeing as you get the rewards of our cpu mining while giving use a mere pittance and justify it by stating that its for maintenance and power even though we are required to pay for the maintenance of our equipment separately from this and were being charged for power even when we don't utilize any apparently.  Don't say I'm a spammer and don't say this is a real world game especially when I can lease space in a data center for a cost of 30%.  Lets see, 0.00100803b mined, -0.00074355b maintenance and electricity costs from your real world game.  So tell me, which data center, in which non existent world is charging 75% and which fool is paying for it.  How about instead of ignoring my questions and blocking my questions so that others won't see what is occurring, you address them and stop attempting to deceive people?

Quote from:  MinerFarm Help Section
MinerFarm is a simulation game that you can experience Bitcoin mining...

Is there a maintenance and eletricity cost in the game?
Yes, for each block found, there is maintenance fee and electricity cost proportional to power consumption.

Every 24 Hours:
Electricity cost is calculated every 24 hours as follows: ([Average Watt in 24 hours] X 0.0000000003 BTC) X 24 hours
Maintenance fee is calculated every 24 hours as follows: (0.00000008 BTC X Total Ghs) X 24 hours

Why cannot see the blocks in the game in the blockchain?
Mining is virtual in the game. So blocks are virtual and do not appear in reality.

This is faucet built on a game from my understanding.

And this is a GAME.

It is a game that is supposed to reflect real word cost and such especially when you in fact pay real money to upgrade and hire staff.  If you say it's real world, should it not reflect as such?

You agree with withdrawing mined coins with your 10 GHS "free" miner. But you do not agree with the costs of that "free" miner. I think you are a bit malevolent or you forget that this game is a investment game. So the more you invest and increase your efficiency, your costs will decrease and produce more coins.
of course you need to invest if you want to get more earning from this site but if you want to earn free you need to be patient

My 10 GHs already earned enough to cash out a few times, so you can definitely profit without depositing. I haven't withdrawn, though, as I'm rolling it all back into the game.
2744  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] AdBTC - Bitcoin advertising network - free traffic for everyone! on: October 16, 2015, 06:21:08 PM
Finally it's time for a positive update Smiley

1. We are now on a much more powerful server so we are open for growing again.

2. To improve the quality of the network we put an additional requirement - top 2 million in Alexa.com.

3. As a compensation for our 3-day downtime, we just started a great promo:

-10% of any order made until 20.10.2015!

So even if you order shares for one month, you still get the discount for every single day!
This will not affect our partners as we are just giving away our profit to make cheaper prices for the advertisers Smiley

It looks like minimum Alexa rankings are taking over BTC ad networks. Not sure if I'm for or against this yet, but it definitely helps prune out those using fake traffic generators so that's a plus.

To be clear, if you satellite into a tournament through any WPN website, you are not paid rakeback or VIP points. The original satellite you are paid rakeback or VIP points.  The software is the same for all websites and clearly differentiates between real money buyins and satellite entries.  The value you get from the satellite is the benefit of playing the satellite and this is why they are extremely popular.

We appreciate everyone's comments for clarity in the matter and are certainly not paying anyone for their responses.  Of course, as is typically the case, the most critically vocal are always very highly active and we want to make sure they as understand as everyone else does as well.

I want to say that as a player, I wouldn't think that ticket-entered tournaments would pay rakeback. A ticket was won, not cash. It'd be different if you won cash and used that to buy in. So the current system is working exactly like I'd expect.
2746  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Anyone use CoinUrl? on: October 16, 2015, 06:16:00 PM
My site was approved and after i few days i see in my control panel :
Quote
Admin rejected your site. Reason: There are no visible CoinURL advertisements on this website.
What the heck that means ? I was using this site to shorten my links.  Huh

have you asked to admin?
I never use coinurl again, since i got banned because of nonsense reason...

Sent support ticket to them days ago, but no answer, very very bad site ...

Good luck. The shortened links earn anywhere from 5-30 satoshi. With a minimum withdrawal of 1 million satoshi, that means you need at least 35k clicks just to withdraw your $2.50.

Anyone that found a real long term strategy with low profits to apply? Interested in knowing if someone studied a new method

No. The math itself shows that it's impossible.

nothing impossible, i know there is a good strategy that could work in long term.
we just not yet find it. i personally playing with my bankroll against the "time" and "long term" itself.
so far working well, when i dropped to negative i try to not recover it faster but slowly.

Math doesn't lie. You're playing against -EV. It's not a slot machine that has to pay out x amount, it's a system that is based entirely on math.

Thatīs the main point of it, everything here is math based.

That's why there will never be a viable strategy. The math itself shows a -EV. There is only ONE way around that: if you AND the site have unlimited bankrolls AND there is no limit on bet amount/wins.

We need more games (especially mainstream ones) to integrate Hyper into their system. With this, Hyper would grow (from serious gamers) and would help crypto to become mainstream as well. If Hyper could achieve more marketing/advertising, I'm pretty sure it would get adopted by mainstream gaming companies such as Ubisoft, Activision and more. Also, this would make price and demand go to the moon! Just my opinion  Grin

Marketing/advertising money isn't how you do that. You contact companies directly with a design document explaining why you're a good fit and why they should join your service (in this case, adopt HYPER).

Hey , I send my coin before you sneaky change the odds. It is before you change it into over 450. What about my bet now? is it count over 250 or 450? This is cheating if you count mine over 450 !!

All bets are final. So, if you bet before the odds changing, the first odd prevail.

 Cheers!! ●‿●

I win, over 250 when will I get the coins?

The extra side betting odds, is for October 17th. You didnt look to the header?

More attention in this please.

Cheers!! ●‿●

fuck, not today?fuck

Before you send anyone money, know what you're sending it to them for. What you did is essentially send your money blindly. That's a sure way to lose everything.

1) Sig campaign. i do it, simple and easy to join
2)A faucet rotator. some times i do it if i have more time
3) Gambling NO don't do it
4) Investing  you must research before invesst

I would put X next to faucet rotator aswell.   Even if you have time it is a waste.

How much are you making per hour?  Normally it's cents per hour which is crazy low payment.

Not to mention the myriad of viruses you can obtain by surfing random sites that have popups and javascript all over them.

For a financial person, who holds money on his PC, this is a big red flag.
yeah for now a days keeping money on his pc is not safe so its better to keep it into your cellphone keeping into your bitcoin wallet, but theres some antivirus that can protect your pc, but some of people have an antivirus but doesn't have a license so its useless.

Phones have viruses as well, so if you can't protect your PC, how are you going to protect a phone?

Max win is now over 6.5 btc?? Wow come a long way in 5 months.

Yes max win per bet is around 6.8 BTC at this very moment but it changes up and down with the flow of investors and players betting.

I'm enjoying the new promotions I hope your site continues to innovate. Do you ever have plans to sell Betterbets?

Glad you like the new promotions! This next question is sort of loaded, we are not actively selling BetterBets however, if the right person or team made us an offer then it would be taken into consideration. Perhaps there are people or a business who could take our casino to a level higher than we could and this would be beneficial to players and this industry.

It's hard to make an offer without all of the financial details, though. It would have to be a blind offer, and most real investors wouldn't do that.

Is true unless active selling hard to make offer most financial info can seen in moneypot though income not private. Expenses to run is only thing need clarity on this if want offer.

Not many people on this forum have hundreds of btc to buy major bitcoin sites anymore regardless. If you do sell Sad best not list it here or prob waste of time most old bitcoin holders have moved from this forum.

There are many people here with the funds to purchase it. Maybe not in BTC, but that's an easy solution: use an exchange to convert fiat to BTC.

Very nice! I noticed our on-site balances can be way off from the actual balance in our deposit address. Does the staking only take into consideration the deposit address, or is it based on YourWallet/TotalWallet*Stake=YourStake?

Also, this is a new system, correct? My last stake on my CnC address was 2015-10-15 06:37:50   + 0.318904 HYPER

But nothing in the account log. Assuming this is because the system is newer than that stake.
2754  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Mellow Ads - simple, bitcoin advertising. NEW free faucet!! on: October 15, 2015, 11:22:18 PM
This is awesome! I guess now I have a faucet I need to keep using daily, Smiley.

Yep, and now there is no excuse for advertisers not to give Mellow Ads a try...

1) Register
2) Grab some FREE advertising credit from the faucet (once every day!)
3) Create your advert and start a network campaign for 1 or more days

You will be able to see how easy and efficient our system is, and attract a bit of traffic to your site Smiley

Just as a heads-up, I tried to set up a network campaign with 1000 satoshi and it said the minimum is 0.001 BTC per day...

Ah ok thanks, I've fixed that now Smiley

Confirmed! Thanks, Smiley.

Netprofit watermark is 26BTC ~

so 20 current profit - 6.4 BTC in free bits = 13.6 BTC.

12.4 BTC below watermark.

Ahhh, got you. Thanks, Smiley. That feels a lot better.

This thread is basically BTC only, I post in the other thread if its about NXT.

Ahh, got you. And just to confirm, when you gave the watermark, that's including the faucet, correct? Like is this formula the right one to use?

CurrentProfit - FreeBits - WaterMark = Dividend

If so, we're down almost 20 BTC, Sad

I think I already missed it. BTW, it'd help to tell which site you're talking about, Smiley.
