Are you interested in a partial ownership deal? Considered listing it on Havelock? You could prob easily fetch 200 BTC.

We have not looked into Havelock as an option, by chance do you have a valid link to it so we can look it over?

havelockinvestments.com

I actually have multiple investments in companies there, Smiley.
1982  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Gamestop Coupon Shop [Escrow Accepted] [1 Voucher] on: December 20, 2015, 02:15:59 PM
I have 1 voucher available, but only to Hero or Legend member, with more than 900 potential activity. If you want one, reply.

Here I am to test a vouch copy. Thank you.

Beat me to it, :p. Just saw the thread.

Admin my payout address is 1BfN5H8uea3RJ5B2E6x9MRi32boNqTqoRa
Where is my payment?

That is what I'm wondering... (2 payments)

Since neither of you apparently read to see what you were getting into, I took a second to look up your answer:

"What happens if there is no more funds in hot wallet?
In that case last deposits will be cancelled and recycled back in to hot wallet. Remember to keep inviting after you join!"

Right from the site itself...

When it was time for your payments to be sent, the hot wallet was apparently empty, so the previous message was invoked.
1984  Economy / Digital goods / Re: TUTORIAL - How to Turn 0.01 BTC into 10 BTC in 2 Days (eBOOK) on: December 20, 2015, 08:18:14 AM

I would like a review copy of this. If I receive a vouch copy I will test this method with 0.05 BTC for a week and let you guys know how much profit I made.

I'm willing to do a vouch as well.

Ok 2 more free copies, but you are the last ones to receive free copies, and you have to promise me that you review my method.

I already gave away 10 free copies, and haven't heard about them since then, looks like I got scammed by them.

So please don't abuse my generosity, I really want to help people, but need to cover my advertising costs too Smiley

After going over the book, I want to start off by saying that this isn't anything new to me, but that's a good thing: my familiarity with it means that I already understand pretty well what's going on. As a result, what I can say is that while the method lined out in the book is by no means a guarantee, it's essentially turning the crypto scene into a stock market-like approach (i.e., he's explaining ways to help ensure a coin has value and a future, such that they're much safer than just buying into random stuff). For new traders, his approach is pretty solid, giving a lot of great criteria to follow to boost the chances of success.

The only real negative thing I cay say about it right now is that it promoted Cryptsy as a reputable exchange. With what's going on with it right now, I would absolutely, 100% avoid that like the plague. And this is coming from someone who has supported the exchange for years.

Especially considering the price, I think this is a great introduction and when followed, offers a pretty solid chance to make a profit (though, again, there are no guarantees).

thank you for the review… it's clear that "the claim" is only a promo and that's it…
no "gold machine" (ops sorry btc machine Smiley )

Technically speaking, not entirely. His method has netted people 10000%+ gains within an hour before, but people have also lost money. So it's entirely possible to make a killing here, it's just not guaranteed (keep in mind that you will never make a lot of money without risk, as risk drives reward).
1985  Economy / Goods / Re: gas station in for sale, anybody interested? on: December 20, 2015, 04:39:04 AM
Epic comment:
I am willing to buy 3 gas stations. Is there any discount if i buy it in bulk?

Cheesy

OT:
Not really looking to buy a gas station, but I am still curious, what does a gas station like this goes for nowadays? (just approximately)

A petrol station not far from where I live was on the market for £500,000 ($798,268) a few months back and sold, it wasn't as big as the one in the picture.

Not sure if it went for asking price or not but must have been close.

Wow. Wow. Wow!

Similar ones to that one in the U.S. run sub-200k, and sometimes sub-100k. ~$1m would be if it's in a prime location and includes the land and is a major station (like Exxon).

I wonder where is HYPERFuture... He is appearing and dissapearing. Playing a "game" with people who believe in this coin. He did not even provide us his real identity. So we should not be surprised if this coin will die.(which will surely happen if the admin doesn't come up to fix the things up)

Things are getting pretty dismal lately. Sucks, too. I spent a lot of time and money helping grow out the project because I had a lot of faith in it (especially with how long it has lasted). I really hope he returns and is able to somehow turn this all around.

nice, but very low incomes per day.

You have to know the prices on exchanges! Thats the truth! We dont work on scams or promise a "get-rich-over-night-scheme" or a ponzi!

Let me explain: If ur coin listed there, is maybe 2 sat worth, and it stakes maybe 1000 coins for u, so u have to calculate 1000 x 0.00000002 = 0.00002 BTC! This coin could be over night worth 200 sat and ur income of course is a lot bigger! What u see on staisybit is not a promised reward...u see here THE TRUE result of ur STAKES!

Staisybit is the FIRST and ONLY cloudstaker, where u can see and CALCULATE EXACTLY ur income, after one day staking!
Yes, we are on the beginning of our journey, but wait for the next month and the month after! The bigger the total amounts on staisybit, the bigger the stakingrewards. Why? Staisybit coded awesome stuff and coincontrolscripts to let it running better, than u can reach on a single wallet at home! U have no fear more to pass some updates...u have no fear more, to damage ur Home-Pc because the coin could affect ur power...u have the great opportunity here to let wallets running 24/7 hours and days and months!

I can't get any of the wallets to load (they just show "Loading" and won't even list them) anymore. And is there any update on HYPER?

Access with https://staisybit.com  (without www) to read the page properly.

That worked. Thanks!

meaningless  comment. Money wouldn't have no value if people were still trading stuff so..what is your point again?

actually what he is saying is money is usually back by resources . as in BTC is just back by an idea .

A bit deeper than this, but basically, yeah. The person I quoted quite literally said that they won't deal with Ponzis but will deal with Bitcoin. They're one and the same at this point.
[/quote]So what exactly is a dollar backed by? It certainly isn't backed by anything physical. It, like Bitcoin, is backed by consumer confidence. Nothing more, nothing less.
[/quote]

I had actually written up the explanation and then removed it because I figured it'd confuse people that aren't highly knowledgeable in economics. But the tl;dr is that we moved from the gold standard in 1933. At this point, dollars lost their backing. In fact, 80%+ of the money that exists doesn't even exist in dollar form (i.e., if everyone did a bank run right this second, only ~20% of the money could be withdrawn -- the rest isn't even printed on paper and is solely available as virtual IOUs).
1993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DVC]DevCoin - Official Thread - Moderated on: December 18, 2015, 07:03:40 PM
As for Cryptsy, it seems parts of it are working fine. You can still send deposits and those go through fine. You can use your BTC to buy and withdraw many altcoins (hence their high price relative to other exchanges), and then you can move out the altcoins. The DVC price was at the level it's at now before Cryptsy started having its issues and the price hasn't gone down since. If a different exchange traded in DVC, then I suspect its Cryptsy price would also be inflated. I got off Vircurex quite a while ago, and had forgotten they were even still online, because I started encountering more and more hiccups with deposits and withdrawals and I worried that they might be Goxing. With Cryptsy, I think they are having genuine issues and they are genuinely working to mitigate them, but their poor PR and communication is making matters worse and leading to FUD, etc.

Cryptsy was hacked, or an insider job, whatever, at least according to rumors I've heard. There's an article allegedly about cryptsy http://forums.prohashing.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=655&p=2477 . I have coins I'm unable to withdraw from there and my support tickets get closed. Now they don't even respond to them. Playing with fire if you deposit coins there. Strongly advise don't do it.

If anyone couldn't see this coming, I'm not sure what to say. I wiped my Cryptsy balances about a month ago when a flood of reports started coming out about not being able to withdraw. If people didn't heed that warning and know something was about to happen... well, this is going to happen again. You'd think people would have learned from Mt. Gox, Smiley.
1994  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Business Auction] BetterBets.io Bitcoin Casino and games. on: December 18, 2015, 07:00:45 PM
It is hard to find larger buyers on this forum for businesses.  You may want to post on more sites to get a sale. Also perhaps lowering the starting bid from 125BTC may help your auction gain some initial bids. Anyway good luck with your auction after looking over the site a few months ago it's very well done.

Their initial bid is fine. Analyze the business, research the market, do due diligence, and you'll understand why.

How much is the hourly dividend pay rate per btc actually?

thanks

YourApr/8760=InterestPerHour

Why the variable 8760?

Because he asked for the hourly dividend rate. There are 8760 hours in a year. Therefore, an hour is 1/8760 of the APR (as that's annual).

I haven't read this whole thread, but is this thing still going on or what?

This section makes my head spin like I'm smoking acid.  If I were to tell any Joe Blow on the street that there's this digital currency and many of its users are FANS of Ponzi schemes, I'm not sure they'd believe how stupid people can be.  And yet here we are.  And to cap it off, those who should have known better start scam accusations against the Ponzi operator (!).

Uhm, Bitcoin is, in and of itself, a Ponzi.

1) There's nothing backing it
2) It has value because people buy into it
3) As people quit buying in, its value goes down/dies

Bitcoin itself has no value. It's worthless. It has value because people keep buying in and raising the price, Smiley.

1999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DVC]DevCoin - Official Thread - Moderated on: December 17, 2015, 07:21:04 AM
Devcoin is not functional now and hasn't been for awhile. Apart from the technical issues surrounding devtome, the inability to add new recipients to the receiver files has made devcoin dysfunctional. How can new bounties ever be paid out if a person can't be added to the receiver files? Not only is devcoin unable to get anyone to do any bounty work because of this, but devtome suffers the same fate, not being able to attract new writers. Additionally devtome has become a secondary failure due to technical faults blocking many (of the few) writers from earning any coin. At this point there might be 1 or 2 writers still going forwards and earning all 180,000,000 devcoins per month.

Come on guys, this is not a functioning ecosystem. It is a closed ecosystem with only a few earning coins, either for non existent admin duties with maybe 1 or 2 earning the majority of coins each round. The concept of devcoin, a currency that anyone can earn, anywhere in the world, has failed. How do you reform a system where no new recipients can be added? Can't do it.

The last paragraph at http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=devcoin reads;
Quote
"The primary concern is that in the long term, most organizations become corrupt, regardless of the intentions of the founders. The single best defense against the corruption of an organization is competition. Devcoin would be the first currency to give part of its generation to developers. However, developers are welcome to fork it in turn, and create say a reformcoin, that also gives generation to developers, but starts with another set of founders. If the reformcoin is less corrupt than devcoin, people will sell the devcoin and buy reformcoins. Even if most people remain with devcoin, just the possibility that people could move to reformcoin would tend to rein in the corruption of the devcoin...."

Unthinkingbit considered that forking may be necessary, and to continue with his vision, which is why we all are here, this option should be considered. I don't like to be proposing this but I dislike how the system has broken down more.

The potential for a currency that anyone can earn is still extremely good. A few ideas would be to have a better platform (wordpress or similar) that writers use. And why not make it so that readers get paid a small amount to vote for their fave writers, and the top voted ones would receive more pay, and ones down the rank get considerably lower pay. This would bring in traffic and bring the cream to the top.

Please consider the forking, as continuing down this path is not working ATM.

+1 to the fork. I haven't done much in months because it's so broken. Forking has a negative stigma but at this point it's not an option. Do what needs to be done.

And the price lower and lower! Oh, what a pity!

This could only mean one thing and that is to buy more at these cheap prices and then stake them. And when you least expect it, the price would go up back to its place. Just give HYPER some time as I think that good stuff will come along the way.  Grin

This is what people said about WDC, FTC, DGC, Karma, DOGE, (insert hundreds of coins here). How many have gone back up? Zero.

I'm holding the coins I have, and while I like the idea of people buying because it props the price up slowly, it's not a good idea to act like it's a risk-free ordeal.
