Still looking for comments/suggestions. Contest starting in 2 hrs. enter while you can!

I like the premise behind the site, and understand that it takes money to make money (i.e., losses in the beginning for the overall welfare of the site). But what is your plan for monetization later?
I'll simply take 1% from the pot. And thats that. Contest is starting in 30 minutes. Only one person is entered. If you want. I recommend you join in now. You have a huge chance of winning because you will only compete against one other person.

Got ya. And any chance of seeing the answers from previous rounds? We can see winners but wasn't seeing any actual answers.
Haha I guess i'll add in the answers too. Are you planning on joining the contest?

Not the current one. Kind of spectating at the moment. If things go well I'll likely take part in a future one though.

Though i think for a seller it would be smarter to do a public auction or something. There are enough people who would buy and most probably this person would receive way more than he would by dumping a big amount of clams on an exchange.

This is something I've never understood. Someone always does that -- dumping and losing 80-90% of their value in the process. You can exit most coins over a period of just a week or so by doing smaller sales.

The thing that happened with the digger was even worse. He pushed the price constantly, lowering his profits on the way even further by pushing others to go out.

On the other side, maybe selling such a huge amount of clams would have been too hard? Don't know if so big buyers are out there.

It's not hard. You just stagger the sales. With CLAM it's ridiculously easy due to volume. Basically, let's say you want to exit asap and the price is 0.001 BTC. You would list:

5% 0.001
5% 0.0099
5% 0.0098

and keep going down. Which does two things: 1) it creates a bit of a wall which usually pushes the price UP instead of down, and 2) minifies the damage done by a dump.

First user to hit level 20 will win 100,000,000 Sat (1 BTC)

Ranking system level requirements
Ranks are based off collective bets.

Is anyone close to that yet? Seems like a great promo for the bigger bettors -- 0.1% rakeback, essentially.
Not really its a collective bets not just dep 1000btc an bet it so its not 0.1% rakeback someone hit 239btc wager with just 3.5btc.
There is no way of telling how far you can make your deposit go could run 1btc up to 1000 but it may take more.

Rakeback is based on total wagered. If you deposit 1 BTC and win 100, then bet 100, that would be rakeback on 101 BTC. Not just 1. That's exactly what this is.

I'm posting this separately to the post above since it's a completely different topic:

I have my wallet open, and I have various different addresses for HYPER received from different sources.  I can't see how you can look at each address' individual balance easily - I assume this is possible?  (Within the wallet itself I mean, I assume  you could also do it via a block explorer.)

Go to the sending list -> Choose Inputs

Here, you can see each individual input, organized by address.

You really need to add the earning/profit (P/L statement) starting in 2014 to help see the pattern. Just giving one month is meaningless. Can't even start analyzing the data until this is supplied.

I've had that same error message tonight, usually doing a page reload fixes it, not always.  Appears to be a problem with Unity Web Player (I've had similar issues with other games that use it).  Hope rghmodz finds a way to reduce the errors though (may be useful to search the Unity forums to see what other people have done to try to solve this problem?)

Nice job on the game.  Can't believe I can actually earn by playing Snake!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin
Yeah. Normally I have to refresh page and it's fine. I'm going to test a new build soon. If it works I will upload it and hopefully it fixes this issue.

Thanks Smiley

Edit: If you get this error in google chrome just press "OK". https://i.gyazo.com/06be8b2e1b62c0002f27ae1c8ad65cbf.png

Edit 2: I uploaded a new build with a few settings changed and I decreased the amount of memory allocated to it. Try it now.
It should be working now. PM me or reply here if it still gives that error message.

I can't register on the site. All it does is throw up an empty red box with no error. Tried many different password lengths/types now.
I found the issue. It should work now. Thanks for reporting it.

Worked! Smiley. Are there plans to give bonuses to the top players on the leaderboard at some point?

1815  Economy / Gambling / Re: Moneypot just took a huge loss? on: February 11, 2016, 11:41:41 PM
Is there a list of all the sites (apps) that are under mp?

very good question and I also would like to see such a list. maybe someone from moneypot can give us
such a list

I'm not a very regular moneypot visitor but what I know is in there site if we go to the apps page we can see all those list right? or only few of them we can see?

If we can't see all of them in that page than the list will really help. Some one should post it, if they have the list.

Answering this and the other related questions together. There's plans to set up a database that shows all apps and is sortable (i.e., game type, house edge, wagered amount, whatever -- this part isn't set in stone yet). As part of this, the entire list will need to be pruned first. As it is, there are tons of entries for people that were just messing around.

I'm very much looking forward to increased visibility and discovery of MoneyPot apps, and having it sortable via different filters is even better. Like you said, I'm sure one of the bigger challenges is "culling the herd" at this point. Are you doing this just based off app activity? Or maybe having a "confirm active app" process for app owners?

Likely just by viewing. There's a lot of them that are just fillers. For example "testlol" and haven't ever been touched. I'm not 100% sure the best way to cull out the inactives yet so it'll start with ridding the obvious ones and will take it from there.

Anyone knows why CLAM price is going down ? Is there a new digger whale ? Anything I should know and I don't ?

Thx for your answers Smiley

Looks like someone withdrew around 7k from Just-Dice and sold it.

I see people in the Just-Dice chat complaining about how they feel betrayed by such behaviour. But shouldn't people be allowed to sell if they want to without incurring our wrath?

If they trust in CLAM, someone dumping the price should only mean free profit (price down - buy, now you have it when it jumps back up). So I see no reason to be upset. If they didn't trust in CLAM, they should have already dumped, so that makes it their own fault.

BitcoinPOP has IPOs and shares now too, im not sure of the market cap but I know its in the millions.

Never even heard of that site before but the people on the front page really don't look that happy. It definitely doesn't instill confidence.

1819  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Websites that accept investment as bankroll ? on: February 11, 2016, 07:13:02 AM
here are few sites that accepts investment

https://bitvest.io/
https://betking.io/
https://safedice.com/
https://www.moneypot.com/

those sites have different terms on their investment so you must check it out first before investing

can any of these websites be trusted?
recently i have been desperately looking for some place to invest some of my bitcoins but i can never find a decent place that i can fully trust. maybe i am too hard on them. but again i see a lot of scams, hacks and running aways that i find it too hard to trust them.

The important thing to remember is that even majorly-trusted sites (think Mt. Gox, Cryptsy) can go under. So really, any site can. Even if you fully trust a site, you should never invest more than you can afford to just write off as a loss.
1820  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam - Any Thoughts or Experiances on: February 10, 2016, 11:45:36 PM
Anyhow, legally, they can't do shit bitcoin is not regulated. Morons, all of them. Even their support staff is a bunch of retards who are probably scammers too. Tongue

Their supports are very bad and slow in dealing things, most of the time theynever understand your issue and you will need to explain it to them several times. I could post about their support staff's bad service countless times however there is no way you could call someone a scammer unless you have a solid proof that they were indeed scamming.

Keep in mind that just because someone takes a loan and doesn't repay it does NOT make them a scammer. To classify as a scam, you have to prove that they had malicious intent when doing so.
