A question that I want to ask though, is , does the website detect if I have multiple accounts ?

Good question... I'd assume if you keep all identities separate and use VPNs, you'd be safe. But do note that they periodically check VPSs to see what's being hosted and such, so you do NOT want anything private/personal on there.

2764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 15, 2015, 05:42:00 PM
They probably will use them as market to attract more players that will lose much more than the lucky one won.

Like: "see this dude that turned 10 btc into hundreads, come, you can be the next.". I think everyone already received an email like this from some casino

This is also why slots in casinos are so loud when you win (any amount) and ridiculously loud if you hit a jackpot. It gives the sense of happiness to you, and the jackpot brings in bigger bettors.

Max win is now over 6.5 btc?? Wow come a long way in 5 months.

Yes max win per bet is around 6.8 BTC at this very moment but it changes up and down with the flow of investors and players betting.

I'm enjoying the new promotions I hope your site continues to innovate. Do you ever have plans to sell Betterbets?

Glad you like the new promotions! This next question is sort of loaded, we are not actively selling BetterBets however, if the right person or team made us an offer then it would be taken into consideration. Perhaps there are people or a business who could take our casino to a level higher than we could and this would be beneficial to players and this industry.

It's hard to make an offer without all of the financial details, though. It would have to be a blind offer, and most real investors wouldn't do that.

I attempted to address this with Alister directly but unfortunately I guess the believe to just ignore it was better.  My account is being blocked with a reason of SPAM?  Just because you don't like what I post in regards to the inaccurate cost associated with this game doesn't mean I'm a spammer or a troll or any other misrepresentation you attempt to place on me.  Perhaps you can also explain why I was charged power costs when the miner and power supply were not operating and powered off, or is that another item being used to punish me for pointing out the flaws with this game?  Stating that is supposed to be real world, seeing as you get the rewards of our cpu mining while giving use a mere pittance and justify it by stating that its for maintenance and power even though we are required to pay for the maintenance of our equipment separately from this and were being charged for power even when we don't utilize any apparently.  Don't say I'm a spammer and don't say this is a real world game especially when I can lease space in a data center for a cost of 30%.  Lets see, 0.00100803b mined, -0.00074355b maintenance and electricity costs from your real world game.  So tell me, which data center, in which non existent world is charging 75% and which fool is paying for it.  How about instead of ignoring my questions and blocking my questions so that others won't see what is occurring, you address them and stop attempting to deceive people?

My costs on the free 10 GHs have been less than 15%... not sure what happened to make yours 75%, which is weird.

Is there any plans to fix the memory leak in the wallet? It is using 600 mb of memory minimized which is almost 3x my other wallets.

Yes, please. Also, I have a request: can we get the ability to add minimum stakes? I'm not sure exactly what it takes to do that, but some coins have it. Essentially, it cuts down on the number of stakes because you can set it to, say 100, and it will wait until the input has aged enough to reward 100 coins before trying to stake it.
2768  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 LIFETIME VPS METHOD WITHOUT INVESTING - VOUCHED [GUARANTEED] $1🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: October 15, 2015, 02:51:01 AM
....

Inorder for RDP to work an additional $1/mo or $10/yr is charged for public ip and then need to setup port forwarding for it to work

After setting up the server and stuff (note that there's a website guide in the site too), I've noticed that you'll indeed need to pay that fee in order for SSH/RDP etc to work as per what techgeeks8 said above. Everything else works fine though, I'm trying to set up reverse port forwarding atm.

Yeah, I support said you can only do internal stuff with it unless you pay for the port forwarding (no hosting games, sites, etc.) for public access. But it's still a great price I think, considering the specs of the VPS!

If you do find a way around that limitation, please let me know.

Thanks!

On the note of LP, do you actually use those points to enter tournaments (like are they deducted) or is it like SWC's Krill, where you permanently unlock tournaments as you get higher?

They are deducted. You simply pay the tournament buy-in with the points.

Ohhh, got it. Thanks! Guess it's about time for me to get into the action, Smiley.

What does "wds" mean? Not familiar with that acronym...
Not entirely sure on this but I think what his mentioning is "Windows DHCP Server" which a DHCP Server assigns IP addresses to client computers. You may read for more information's in this link: http://www.dhcpserver.de/cms/

Ahh, I know what DHCP is, just hadn't heard of "WDS" before. Thanks! Essentially he's just asking if a dynamic IP would be an issue, and I doubt it. I've accessed my account from multiple locations with no issues.

I too had this question many times in mind when i started earning some bitcoins .. i would suggest you not to go to gambling right away ..

You must see for some good alt coins and invest on them and main key is patience. you must wait for a few days ..then only it wil be possible to make some profit.

I would not suggest for anyone at any point to consider gambling investing.  This thread is investing, gambling is just that a gamble.

Also like I like to say these gambling sites have no regulations.  They avoid being hosted in certain countries to avoid being shutdown.  Even if they are honest.   The best case is you lose most of time by only a little.

But the dodging and having no regulation part is what scares me most on gambling sites.  Do not consider this a investment.

Uh... a lot of BTC casinos are officially licensed. I'm not sure why you are trying to insinuate that none of them are. There are multiple that are subject to third-party checks as well (as part of their licensing).

And at the same time a lot of BTC casinos aren't licensed also. What ones can you tell me that comply all the required regulations? And they may comply certain regulations on X country, but not the ones you are playing at. It is all a very grey area, just like everything with Bitcoin since it's still so new.

BitStarz is one of them. And yeah, they're licensed in their own country, but how does that affect you? That's like saying "I won't go to Vegas because they're not licensed to operate in California."

Interesting that some of these are licensed.   I had not ran into this before, I think most are unregulated.  But if there are some that are licensed yes that makes them sound better (even though it still chances are is a loss long term).

How many of these have a legit government's license and have to follow regulations? Also what country are they operating under on license?

Most operate in Curacao, and there's ~10-15 casinos that are fully licensed there.

2774  Economy / Securities / Re: Managed fund - BTC/USD trading on: October 14, 2015, 03:25:02 PM
I'm a bit lost as to how this works. Like what do you mean by risk 25%, return 50%?

It means, I will trade in such way to keep maximum draw down around 25% in the worst-case scenario.
Expected return with such style of trading will be around 50% per year.

HOWEVER, there are no guarantees in trading and actual results can exceed/fall short these numbers. If Bitfinex goes belly up next morning - loss will be 100%.

And how can users check up on their profit?

Right now, you can manually download my trades using API, calculate what was your share after you made a deposit, calculate profit/loss on account since your deposit, multiply it by your share in fund.

It's very cumbersome to do now, that's why I'm building website that will track this info https://github.com/santacruz123/btc-trackrecord

Stay tuned...

Ahh, interesting. I'll keep following this and see how it goes over a bit of time, Smiley.

Just registered an account and I personally find it a bit confusing to navigate so far. After registering I was prompted to follow the link sent to my email which is standard practice, so I did. After clicking the link the page did not inform me that the registration process had completed, nor did it log me into my account. I went ahead and attempted to log in from the page in the link and it brought me back to the main page once again, still not logged in. From this page I attempted to login again which was successful finally! Am now just waiting for a free chip table to become available after I (at least I think) signed up to what appears to be a first come first serve type of poker room. Interesting site overall, worth a look if your into poker.

I had no issues like that with registration. And I'm not sure what you mean by "waiting for a free chip table to become available" -- there are tons of available tables.

Sorry for not being clear, I was waiting for a free chip table to become active after registering for it. Which I played whenever it did and actually won the tournament Smiley Was only .0005 prize which was kind of a bummer but I cant complain with free

earn some LP and get in the 100mbc tourneys Smiley

2776  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: October 14, 2015, 03:21:34 PM
The site itself isn't the issue (I trust Dooglus immensely). It's CLAM.

One thing I like about JD/clam is that there's virtual zero chance, or incentive for a big-exit scam. That's in comparison to most bitcoin investment sites, were there's strong financial incentives to do it.

Dooglus will probably hate me for saying this, but I see just-dice investing/clams as an epic version of bustabit. You can buy-in (polo), or claim the faucet (dig) and now the goal is to hold on (invest) while making phenomenal returns. You can cashout anytime, or risk the giant bust Cheesy

I see your point, but I'm not sure about the phenomenal returns:

bustabit:

CLAM:

CLAM looks like it's being suppressed, though. It seems to be two large dumps that tanked its price, almost as if it were intentional.

Nice promo again! It's pretty cool that these other casinos are willing to have a wager war -- I thought this was all just BB hosting and didn't realize the other casinos were also supporting it.
2778  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game (formerly moneypot.com) on: October 14, 2015, 03:16:37 PM
Maybe a trick would be to mathematically determine the "average" somehow? Like if you can easily ping the database to pull the information and craft the house edges / total bets, you can get an "average" house edge to use that would encapsulate everything.

You could estimate, but it's impossible to do it perfectly. If you imagine the game busts at 0x, you really have no idea what people were going to cashout. You can make a guess, but it'll still be a guess. Especially the whales tend to just play on gut feelings, so that's not something easy to predict and it makes a big difference if you assume they were going to cashout at 1x (0% house edge)  or a super high autocashout (normally ~0.9%).

Anyway, a few people have been asking for it, so here's our updated chart:

Nice rebound there! Looks like one of the whales had a turn-around on luck.

This is going to be a bad news for me as i use a vpn and i dont have a specific ip location, what will happen to my account? Am i get banned if i accidentally forgot to turn off my vpn while logging in? Because im 101% sure that one day i will forgot this.

I am assuming that you would be okay, as long as your account wasn't reporting suspicious activity, like creating new accounts using your referral code in order to buy new miners to feed your main account, etc. I doubt that there is an automated process in banning accounts for multiple IP addresses. I log in from work, home, and at the coffee shop with my account, and I have no problems.

Knowing for sure is important before investing though...

Yes since there were no reported cases such like about this.

And btw i dont have referrals so if ever ended up a scam happens i will not be obligated to explain to people under me everything.

When you access to Miner Farm with proxy or VPN, it does not result with a ban. You cannot make claims from the faucet section but it does not mean that your account is banned, you can still continue the game.

We only ban abusive accounts that try to trick the system, and we do not ban without a prior warning.

Regards.

Thank you for explaining and if i cannot claim at faucet with a vpn does it make any impact with wds too?

What does "wds" mean? Not familiar with that acronym...

this is the renamed site of btclendingclub
i used to received notifications from them
their requirements for loan is outrageous

Oh right , I just saw the backlinks to articles for CoinNewsMagazine & Coindesk still , I don't know both of them so .. if anyone could give me more info about this BitcoinLendingClub , I would really appreciate it .
What do you mean by outrageous ? what do they ask you exactly so you get a loan ; Please don't tell me it's worst then BTCJam for what comes to the informations part .
One example of an outrageous requirement is that they will ask you to send them a picture of you holding an identification card, the identification card must be readable as well. so just imagine that your holding your drivers license right below your chin and that your name and address in the identification card should be clear. You need a good DSLR for that.

I like that requirement. I'd require a lot more than that to invest in a business, and if I did a personal loan I'd absolutely need to know that information because I'd have to pursue the funds if they weren't repaid as agreed.
If I were providing a business loan, I would want to meet them face-to-face and meet with them periodically to check on how things are going and how they are using the money.

That is a separate issue. As long as things are transparent, I'm good. I usually join as a silent investor.
