281  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap Telegram Bot on: November 23, 2017, 06:16:35 AM
This actually sounds like a very useful and less annoying alternative to push notifications or having to install additional applications on your phone in order to keep track of the value of your investments. Does it work in group chats as well? I could see many of the trading groups working off of Telegram using this bot as a means to coordinate and compare trading strategies live on the chat and being able to share/forward the bot messages and log the prices. I have attempted to do something similar with Preev but was limited by what information their site would provide. I assume this uses the CMC API directly rather than fetching the data from the HTML site, correct? As a heads up, make sure you implement caching, since if the bot becomes popular it could hit the API rate limits and cause the bot to go down or stop updating. I am looking forward to the development of the bot and would not mind to contribute to it if you ever need a helping hand or want to extend its functionality.
282  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Debit Cards Prohibited on: November 23, 2017, 06:01:29 AM
I think that the reason for the new rules is personal data protection. This is very strict in EU and the new directive is to be implemented soon so this is probably some precausion measure. But I thinK that Visa nad Msste will suffer loses not to be present with bitcoin debit cards outside EU because more and more users are intresetd in it and to my opinon this is the future, this is very convenient wa to spend bitcoins everywhere. Maybe also bitcoin credit cards will appear some day.

VISA launched their Blockchain business some days ago, this explains a lot  Undecided

https://www.coindesk.com/visa-launches-first-phase-of-blockchain-b2b-payments-system/

I do not think it does. The blockchain technology-- the general business communications term, not in the Bitcoin-specific context-- has been around since before Bitcoin itself. Businesses use blockchain information handling all the time, especially when it comes to logistics and reconciliation of data between different business entities. This general use is what Visa is getting more businesses to adopt on top of their platform. This allows businesses to trade with each other on top of their platform but without having to connect with them. Imagine, as a parallel, Bitcoin transactions being verified offline without being actually put on the chain yet. This does not really conflict with Bitcoin; the main reason really is the lack of customer/personal data held by the issuers of these cards, since they do not attempt to verify any of the information provided by the customers for the lower tier limits that the accounts begin with by default.
283  Economy / Services / Re: [SERVICE] Web Developer & Sysadmin Linux on: November 23, 2017, 04:35:04 AM
I have a few working projects that could do well with a redesign, assuming that you would be willing to do this kind of work. They are all very simple and no more than one web page each, usually. For a one-page responsive design, what would your estimate be? We are not even talking about single-page applications, as these tend to me more complex and not really just a single page. No back-end work is required, it's really only the HTML/CSS using whichever framework (if any) you are comfortable with.

On a completely separate note, do you have any experience with Node.js?
284  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-22] Bitcoin Will “Never” be Legalized in Russia, Claims Minister on: November 22, 2017, 09:37:52 AM
They will continue to claim it will never be legalized until they figure out how it can be regulated in a fashion which is the most profitable for the government. Then they will legalize it. As people become more and more aware of bitcoin and take their money off the grid, governments will see that there is no option but to legalize & regulate it.

Eh, I would not be so sure about that. Every since they announced that they were coming out with their "crypto-ruble," it definitely became a possibility that the use of alternatives to their cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin could be outlawed nationally or prohibited for general use. Now, do note that this is not what the Russian officials are saying. They are only saying that they will not legally recognize it themselves, but they are also not banning it either. Their strategy here is probably to have something back up into-- in this case Bitcoin-- in case that their crypto-ruble does not take off. This way they could still embrace Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies and would not be left out of the loop if their plans go awry.
285  Economy / Digital goods / Re: NiceVPS ★ Cheap Anonymous Bitcoin Hosting ✔ Fast & Protected VPS starting 1.99/m on: November 22, 2017, 09:26:03 AM
Hello, again. I took a look at your VPN options and was surprised to find out that you include remote port forwarding with your VPNs. This, along with your prices, are instantly attractive to some services I need to run from servers behind a firewall that would need to have their traffic forwarded through the VPN in order to be accessible. I would like to know if the port-forwarding works as a tunnel in order to allow this and how it would interact without the option to have a dedicated IP address, since this would mean that port numbers would likely be restricted among those users using the same IP address. While the actual ports do not matter to me since these servers are not public-facing, I do want to make sure that it is possible to do this through shared IP. Thanks.
286  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Own a piece of crypto history! on: November 22, 2017, 09:17:21 AM
Thank you for your interest!

I am talking about the ''Bitcoin Change'' museum.

There will be costs to make the actual painting of the ad-grid to place in the Museum;

There are also costs to get your venture publicized at the DC Blockchain summit 2018;

When I am referring to Twitter and Instagram costs I am turning to the top notch channels;

I should probably add in the costs for publicizing articles on some of the top Bitcoin and crypto news websites;

+ I will be using the funds to propel my other business ventures further;

The Crypto Piece TM

In that case, I would advise that you be a little more specific about what the use of the funds is going to be in the website. Right now it is way to general for any potential customer to want to buy pixels in the grid. Without full disclosure of how much of the obtained funds are going to be appropriated to each use, it is hard to understand in what ways the amount being paid will be invested for the proper advertising of the customer's product/service. The sale of these pixels is in fact not too different from, say, the public sale of stock for investors.
287  Economy / Services / Re: Wanting To Buy Old Bitcoin Addresses ( $5 Per Address) on: November 21, 2017, 05:59:22 AM
I have old one with 19 words passphrase, 2015/07/18.

did you read the OP? it clearly says 2014 or before 2014 -_-

how to understand that the address created before 2014?

you can check the transactions of a certain address, if you see any transactions made on 2014 or before 2014 then the address is eligible

Yeah, the OP is a little misleading. There is technically an very large number of addresses that may have been created on or before 2014 compared to the number that were actually used. For example, a seed-based wallet pretty much creates an infinite (or rather, can generate an infinite) number of addresses, but that does not necessarily mean that all of them have appeared in the Blockchain. I am not familiar with CLAMS which the earlier poster talked about, but it is safe to assume that the created addresses must have appeared on the blockchain at a point on or before 2014 to be eligible for them.
288  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Own a piece of crypto history! on: November 21, 2017, 01:54:28 AM
This looks more like a copy of that one open canvas on Reddit (/r/place) except in this case you actually have to pay for it. I see in the FAQ you mention that it could potentially be seen by millions of people in the Bitcoin museum and the DC Blockchain Summit next year. What Bitcoin museum are you talking about and how are you so sure that the painting of the resulting pixel board will be displayed in there? Also, while you do mention how you will be using the $500K, it seems like quite a steep amount of money compared to what your actual advertising and publishing plans are. I highly doubt that advertising in only Instagram and Twitter is going to cut it for the amount of money that you are asking for. I would expect more.
289  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 【Bitcoin Debit Card UQUID】 Best Bitcoin and Altcoins debit card | 0% Fee Deposit on: November 21, 2017, 01:17:27 AM
Over Skype yesterday:

"we are in final test of new card
and will update within 10 days"

This is all like a really shitty joke by now.

To anyone wondering, they said something similar back in September when they originally decided to bail on everyone who resided outside of the European Union. They claimed that since their provider stopped issuing the cards, they would have to find a new one within 3 weeks. Well, now here we are a few months later and there is still no new provider in sight. Even those who do reside within the EU have reported that they have not been able to obtain working cards yet. I highly recommend anyone looking for a card to look elsewhere.
290  Economy / Services / Re: Unify Cryptocurrency is Looking for a Programmer (Paying: 1% of total supply!) on: November 20, 2017, 06:44:42 AM
I highly recommend that anyone interested in programming for any cryptocurrency's benefit such as Unify do so as a contractor for compensation in a currency other than the currency being worked on. Many times this is just a cheap way for the founders of a cryptocurrency to obtain cheap, risk-free labor where they can put the risk on the worker himself. They do this by providing a contingent compensation where the worker only really gets paid anything if the coin ends up being successful. In this case, do not accept Unify as payment. Instead, I advise to ask for payment in BTC or some other already established cryptocurrency. Don't take the hit for your employer, this is a very high risk job to pick up and you could literally end up without any effective payment whatsoever.
291  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Udemy course is needed on: November 20, 2017, 06:34:08 AM
If you are still looking for someone to do this for you, hit me up with a PM. I can do this quite quickly, I just need to know which courses you want and preferably the links to them so I know exactly which ones you need to buy. I will be available a few hours from now to do this if you like.

We can figure something out through PMs. Otherwise you can just use an exchange to get it done or a bitcoin card.
292  Economy / Services / Re: BITCOIN TALK DISCUSSION TELEGRAM GROUP on: November 20, 2017, 05:25:00 AM
Hi mate, first welcome to bitcointalk forum.

For making new group chat is good but why need to make new one? Because this forum is good enough to create conversation and ask and answer quetions here no need to worry because everything you can ask here as long as you do not ask for scam or any fouling questions that can harm both party.
Yes, I know that the forum is the best place to discuss things but some members here don't get answered and some have to do things with some trusted users so at this group you can make trusted friends even if they are at a low rank here but they could have tremendous capability in them but just joined the forum. So this people can provide there services there.

And thank for a welcome Grin
There's absolutely nothing the matter with creating and following any group, however if the texts in bold are your drive, I sincerely think you may want to reconsider throwing your doors wide open to strangers. Take another look, all those hailing your gesture are mostly newbies, do you think that's coincidence? There are different sections here for all manners of discussion and the entire community can access them and air their view. Wanting anything less, is no less a red flag!
Sir I think its not  like all the newbies are fraud or the do not have capability can can do nothing . Some of then are new here and got to know the forum a bit  late but they can be the future of the forum . Sir if you like my idea please join and support. It will be a great help from you.

It honestly sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I agree with Victorycoin. People joining these forums here at Bitcointalk already fall in to scams made by complete newbies even when there is a big red spanning text warning "!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter[sic] !!!". Doing trades through a Telegram or Skype chat sounds like an even easier way to get scammed. There is no way to know whether a person in the chat is who he or she claims to be outside of it. Anyone there can abuse of people new to Bitcoin with little to no repercussions because of the temporary nature of these chats. I am not saying that it is a bad idea to have them, but maybe restrict the kind of business that can happen within the chats. You can also adopt an every-man-for-himself policy towards the chat, but many scams are bound to happen if you do. Good luck.
293  Economy / Services / Re: Need Coding Work, Unsure Of What Type Of Coding (Simple Task; Paying $25) on: November 19, 2017, 08:32:58 AM
Are we talking about a chatbox in an online website, sort of like a web application or a desktop application? In the case of the former, it would be programmed most likely in JavaScript and some other back-end language such as PHP or Node.js for the chat server, albeit most other languages will work fine as well. In the case of the latter, it is likely to be programmed in Java, C/C++, C#, or really any other language with a proper library. If there is already an existing setup it would be easier to know what skillset is appropriate to work with it. Feel free to PM me with the details of your project and I can tell you about what it involves or what can be done for free. I could also do the actual code depending on your setup for your price if needed. Just contact me.
294  Economy / Services / Re: Do we got web programmers here? on: November 19, 2017, 07:37:02 AM
Are you looking mostly for front-end development or back-end development? Front-end development I can definitely get done if a design is provided. Without a design, I would need to know the specific details of what you are looking for in your website. I, however, specialize in back-end development instead, as designing is not my personal strong suit. Feel free to PM me with more information about the project that you are looking to hire for and I can let you know if I can get it done or if you should look elsewhere. I am basically the opposite in terms of specialization of the poster before me. If you are interested we can negotiate a potential price and a timetable for your project. Just let me know what you decide.
295  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen Sports 🎯 Free Bet on CS GO: IEM Oakland 2017 🎯 The Future of Betting on: November 19, 2017, 07:21:37 AM
For the free bet, am I correct in assuming that we need to spend money before obtaining the free bet? Your announcement says that a betslip must be created prior to posting on social media and receiving the free bet. This betslip would be coming from our own funds, correct? I just want to make sure that I don't do anything that I am not sure of. Furthermore, if the free bet were won, would there be any additional requirements to be able to withdraw the earnings from the bet once it is finalized? Thanks.
296  Economy / Digital goods / Re: ⭐⭐⭐ Selling HideMyAss VPN Pro - Only $2.99 for Bitcointalk! [9 Keys Left] ⭐⭐⭐ on: November 18, 2017, 07:33:38 AM
Can confirm that the seller sent me a new code that says "Subscription renews automatically"=Every year and the next billing date is September 30, 2018, so its May 2018 ->Sept. 2018.

But correct me if I'm wrong, automatic renewal doesn't mean it renews for free, and it's still not 2 years though. I'm not interested in arguing any further on this $2 matter, it just doesn't worth the time.

Ah, ok. In that case it could be safer to go along with it. I just want to make sure of one thing--this subscription/license key works for all HideMyAss suupprted platforms, correct? For example, will it work on platforms other than regular Windows machines such as mobile phones running iOS or Android? How is the code redeemable? Does it go into a new account or do you have to use some pre-existing account that is given to you? Thanks for your time.
297  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] SELL EDU EMAIL Starts from $4 | GITHUB+NAMESCHEAP APPROVED! on: November 18, 2017, 07:19:28 AM
What do you mean when you say that your domains are either Gmail or Outlook? As far as I know, many EDU domains have access to both Microsoft's and Google's education benefits which might include the unlimited Google Drive and the 1 TB of OneDrive (and possibly Office 365).
No, if it is Gmail in order to use Office 365 you need to make Office account which includes Outlook email. I am not sure if you can get 1TB OneDrive if your email is from Gmail. Please check it yourself here.

On the other hand, if you start with Outlook, you cannot make Gmail account.  FYI, if your email is Gmail, you automatically get unlimited storage of Google Drive.

Do you also know if any of them have access to DreamSpark? If any of them do, I would certainly be interested. My current university account has full access to it.
I never tried DreamSpark.

I don't know about Outlook -> Gmail, but you are probably right. What I do know is that my own institution's email address is a Gmail one and it also has access to 1 TB of storage space in OneDrive. This could also just be of my institution's own doing, however, and I don't actually have any idea of how it works in the backend, which is why I was hoping somebody else would know, but I'll do some more research before ordering. Regardless, thanks for the help, I might be in contact soon.
298  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [AUTOBUY] EDU EMAILS 1 USD (1$) EACH! Discount for bulk! on: November 17, 2017, 02:49:09 AM
In your main post you indicate that some emails provided may not work with the GitHub Developer Pack. Is there any way to know beforehand if what we are buying includes the ability to get the pack? Otherwise, you could just as well sell the ones that you know do work with the DevPack separately, possibly at a premium compared to the regular ones. Furthermore, since the accounts include Office 365, do they also include the 1 TB storage space for OneDrive that is included with some educational accounts? Lastly, I don't see any Google services listed, meaning that possible these accounts do not work for any of Google's education services. Is this correct? Feel free to PM me and we might get something going.
299  Economy / Digital goods / Re: ⭐⭐⭐ Selling HideMyAss VPN Pro - Only $3.99 for Bitcointalk! [9 Keys Left] ⭐⭐⭐ on: November 16, 2017, 09:39:08 PM
I take it that each of the subscriptions that you are selling for HideMyAss are, as shown in the picture, valid for around 2 years from now, correct? If so, I am quite interested in this offer. Would you be willing to go first or accept escrow for this? There is no chance I will be buying straight from your Selly page without you having any previous reputation here or confirming that you are the same person behind another account at some other reputable forum at which you have a built-up reputation.

Feel free to PM me about this any time.

No it comes with 6 months, not 2 years, and that's why I left a negative report on his/her reputation. He then PM'ed me saying that the code automatically renews every 6 months, guess what, I highly doubt that's ever happening and the code could be some promotional licenses from giveaways.

Ah, I see. Thank you for coming back here after having purchased and sharing this publicly.

Are these still available? I wanna buy 1

Yes Sir, Still Available Grin

Do you have anything to say to yff's claims? I notice you ignored both my questions about your service and all of what he said. Would you be willing to accept escrow or go first?  What is the actual duration of the HMA accounts that you are selling? 6 months or 2 years? If it is as you say and it renews after 6 months, how can we have proof that you are being honest?
300  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Cheap Hosting for your faucet! HostaFaucet.com. Bitcoin, Altcoin, Paypal Payment on: November 16, 2017, 09:33:39 PM
How is this any different than just a regular web hosting service? As I understand it, you are dedicating your service specifically to faucets, but... Why? It does not seem like there are any special benefits that could be provided to faucets by choosing your service over some other web host. Furthermore, do faucets even generate any significant ad revenue anymore? You would need a very large number of users using the faucet in order to even break even against the web hosting price. At most, I could see someone putting up a faucet on an already existing server with a different main purpose just for the pocket change generated from its existence. Dedicating an entire service to a faucet sounds like a way to never achieve ROI.

I think the point of HostaFaucet is that the service renter/payee wouldn't need to setup his own faucet software. Think of it as like DigitalOcean's one click install apps, whereas the users wouldn't need to manually install apps such as Lamp, MySQL, those stuff.
Ahh, I see. I thought this didn't provide anything extra like you just indicated.

I just looked at the OP and noticed it says there are custom scripts at the bottom for faucets. I am not sure if I missed this when I originally read it or if it was added in afterwards, but this service makes more sense now. I am still not fully sold on how profitable they might be, but if they truly are profitable, all power to hosts.
