281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: October 28, 2023, 07:57:20 PM
That's what I mean to get the right place to share our referrals that have heavy traffic which allows us to get a little easier to get new users who will register using our referrals and in this modern era not difficult to do this because we really want to try to earn income from these referrals we definitely make a little effort to spend some money to get a lot of followers or anything that gives us guarantee of being able to enter that high traffic space.
So nowadays it is very easy to do things online so we only need our seriousness to do this with confidence and high enthusiasm, everything can be achieved slowly.
I have the impression that now it is harder than ever to get referrals, before social media was created you could drop a link with your referral on different forums, and since many people did not knew what it was you may have gotten several referrals this way, but now people know what those links are and they avoid following them, plus now you will need to become an influencer to be able to have enough clout for people to follow that link upon your recommendation.
I agree with you knowing that I myself is doing this on my social media before. I just drop the link on a comment section where there's a lot of traffic and after a day, there's a lot of new invites! I don't make much money from it because majority of those invites doesn't really play but there are some who plays and I got commissions from it.

Majority of the people in social media now has the knowledge, there are even people who can identify if the links was a referral link or not, basing on the link that you had drop. Referral is just much harder in our current time I guess. Blind referring in particular.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Man Who Stole Over 51,680 Bitcoin on: October 28, 2023, 07:28:03 PM
Imagine how successful you are on stealing thousands of bitcoin but you failed on a simple thing that every hacker in our current time won't do which is KYC. Hackers or any person who knows that their bitcoin or assets aren't clean are scared or won't even try submitting KYC (atleast their own identity). There are different ways to sell those bitcoin, maybe he's just desperate at that time to sell his bitcoin that why he submitted a KYC. I wonder if other of the asset that he has on that vault aside from cryptos was stolen.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: Help me analyze the feasibility of this business idea on: October 28, 2023, 07:12:34 PM
I was thinking of a possible business/work to start that will still give me the chance to do my online stuff and of all the things I thought of, these two seem to stand out.

1. I'm good in maths and science-related courses and have always loved teaching; my initial plan as a young person was to enter fully into the teaching profession when I grew up. But now I have grown to know how much teachers are paid and the fact that a single source of income isn't enough to sustain one in today's world and I'm looking at the possibility of doing a teaching job which is what I'm passionate about and use my remaining free time to focus on my crypto and other online stuff that I'm into. My issue with this is that some schools can be engaging and might not give me breathing space to face other stuff.

2. The other option I'm also considering is that, since I have basic experience in graphics, and also have little tech knowledge, I can start up a computer institute where I will focus on training young teenagers on the foundation of basic computer operation, graphics, some tech-related course and also use the working environment to conduct private lesson for them. My issue with this option is that there are people already using their cafe for computer training in the area where I intend to start this business so my fear is how best I can manage the competition although I have a unique idea that is different from what those existing cafes are doing.

Your little advice will go a long way!
Is online teaching good to you? It's way more profitable than teaching on other schools especially if you are living on a third world country. Tutoring online with multiple clients is a good option too, you can leverage your time with this option and also improve your skills on finding clients online. After getting the experience of getting clients, that's the time to do a business. Recruit teachers that you know or source online and make a outsourcing company that focus on teaching where you can teach your own clients at the same time have a business that involves teaching. You can continue doing crypto if you have a flexible time of course.

Though this will be a different thing if you prefer teaching live or face to face where the time you have is strictly on your current job.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should have taken this risk earlier. on: October 28, 2023, 06:24:24 PM
And now the price of bitcoin jumped again. Though I don't think that you did a wrong decision. You shouldn't regret it given that if anything goes wrong, your family trust and probably your assured chance of getting admission in the university you are planning will vanish. There's always another chance in profiting out in bitcoin, maybe it's not your chance now. Believe me, majority of us here had experience somewhat like this, missing out on a time to invest and regretting it later but that what makes us want to invest in bitcoin more. We are still not on a bull market, the fear isn't that high but investing your spare money wouldn't hurt you in the future.

Try finding a part time job and use it to spend on investment, don't use other people money or money that has allotted on a specific purpose like your tuition fee. Don't regret, it's a good decision to make it sit on the bank if you would ask me. We wouldn't know what bitcoin next move is, just like your future if you invest it into bitcoin.
285  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Nag Rug Pull Na Nang Inis Pa, Dev Abandon NFT games on: October 28, 2023, 05:47:04 PM
May kakilala ako nag recommend sa game nato at may mga friend din ako sa facebook na nag shishill neto pero hindi ko tinry nung nalaman kong mala ponzi ang galawan ng project. I've been there and alam ko na ang kakalabasan ng ganyang scheme. Nakakasad lang talaga nag may mga na scam nanaman at based sa post is parang Pilipino yung target audience or victim ng project nato which makes us looks fool in being scammed easily kahit obvious namana. Wala na tayong magagawa since parang pinagtatawanan lang din ng devs yung mga nauto nila, another lesson learned nanaman sa mga na scam.
286  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: October 27, 2023, 05:34:07 PM

I expect this thread to be blocked eventually and people can move on, even those who lost money somehow need to find peace and try to recover by themselves. Though, this should not mean we are supposed to forget what happened and let the newbies around here to be ignorant of the history of this casino. Regardless whether 1xbit decides to return or not, it should still appear in our lists and threads about unreliable, shady or scam casinos, for the sake of warning people in the future
I think that locking this thread doesn't solve anything and again the posts in this thread, non is promoting 1xbit or singing their glory. The posts are even more detrimental to their reputation. So, even if people are redirected here, they will understand that the company is a scam company.

I have also noticed that is is quite difficult for moderators to lock ANN threads, I don't actually know their reasons behind that but they do not lock ANN threads easily. This might be, incase 1xbet returns with a new thread, the would be asked to continue in their formee thread.

Sure, this thread is rather detrimental to their reputation and helps to warn other gamblers but I would have guessed mods would eventually lock this thread. I was not aware of their policy on not locking ANNs. Is it a policy which only applies here within the gambling section or also occurs in other parts of this forum?
I would guess they do not want to lock threads (even if there is no official information being posted on them anymore) for the reason you mentioned, to avoid creating a new medium for spam and flooding to appear here and multiple ANNs to exist.
I also believe there was an occasion when there were two 1xbit threads coexisting here at the same time, the mods decided to block the other one and left this untouched.
Yep, somehow this can create spam and repetitve statement about 1xbit but I think it's the best way for us to inform newbies in this forum and other outside this forum, we speaking currently shows that this casino haven't reclaimed their legitimacy and is still inactive not clearing their name. To be honest, accusation in this casino is pretty useless at this point because there's nothing that this forum can so to the victim, this casino won't even budge to nogotiate or reply to those scam accusation,

I just hope one day that this thread will appear on the top of every search engine if someone search 1xbit in the internet, in that way, potential victims might avoid thr disaster of being scammed by this casino.
287  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ginagamit nyo pa ba Ledger wallet nyo? on: October 27, 2023, 03:43:44 PM
I have both ledger and trezor, both ko naman ginagamit pang store ng token, nabalitaan ko before yung plan ng ledger regarding that and hindi ko pa inuupdate yung ledger ko matagal na. If you feel unsafe sa feature na yan or flaw, because it really defeat the purpose of a hard wallet na may iba pang makakarecover aside from the security phrase holder, it is really up to you, though I think it is much more safer padin to use it rather than any custodial wallets. Pero if may chance ka na makakuha ng ibang wallet is go for it, asset mo yan ehh, nasasayo if yung decision kung ano ang best way para ma secure sila.
At least the trial versions of applications is fine, mahirap lang gumamit ng pirata ngayon kasi laganap talaga ang malwares.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Mattress Mack" loses nearly 10 million dollars on Astros Loss on: October 27, 2023, 08:42:35 AM
Most of you probably aren't familiar with this man, but he's pretty popular here in the United States, known for making monster bets on his favorite baseball team, the Houston Astros ( also the most hated team in America being that they were caught cheating  during their World Series win a few years back).

I saw a video of someone giving him shit and him stacking "fuck you, fuck you" left and right back at the man.  This guy seems to lose his cool quite a bit.  He seems like an old fart but if you look up his history, he's bet millions upon millions of dollars, both winning and losing TONS of money.

Here's the recent bet/story ( could you ever bet millions if you had it? )
https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/jim-mattress-mack-mcingvale-lost-at-least-7-9-million-on-astros-world-series-bets/
I don't know the guy or familiar with baseball teams but it's clear from the article that he's doing a big time bet. Sometimes this hated teams are the one who are giving good profit if you bet on them and though there are a lot of haters want them to be defeated because of their reasons. Also, he might want to publicize the hate just to increase the possible profits he can get from betting on that team. There might be also a chance that he might be getting insider information like having a plan to get on the tournament.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 27, 2023, 08:26:29 AM
That is the greed that often comes to gamblers who have already won. They forget that they have won and should stop gambling and not continue gambling because that will only make them lose. They should be able to understand the situation and not choose to continue gambling, especially if it is a big win. With this big win, the gamblers can withdraw their money and enjoy their winnings but the reality is that the gamblers continue gambling because they think they can still win some more money in a few rounds. And it is true that everything has its limits and if they have reached their limits, they must immediately stop gambling and leave the casino.

Of course, if a player wins, he will continue to play, because few people are ready to stop after winning, but it is important to stop on the day you win, rest is also needed. And in case of a big win, you should withdraw your profit and leave a game deposit, this way you can definitely save what you won and continue playing from the level where you were. Withdrawal of profit is a very important point and not only in gambling.
Only the addictd gamblers are the one who are reasy to continue playing even they know thwt their body and mind is tired but they want to push their limits and gamble more. If you are this kind of gambler that don't know how to cash out, there are only two ending that can happen to you. You will either win big time or on a lose with zero funds left as you don't know when to stop doing gambling. It's just that there are people who do't really have their a goal or just do greedy that they won't cashout unless they are satisfied with their winnings.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often is your luck in gambling? on: October 26, 2023, 01:44:49 PM
(...)How about you guys, are you having a good fortune on your gambling career? Do you ever think of quitting after you won a jackpot?
Yes, I can mention the level of luck here, and I also want to share this about my personal case: many years ago I also bought the lottery, and fortunately I won twice, But the bonus is not too big because it is based on the ratio of the special prize you bet on the last pair of numbers. With a 100x rate, I only bought $1 each time I won.
I know it's really luck because I know this game quite well since my grandfather often participated, but the level of winning is almost impossible, and indeed that brings a feeling of excitement, at that time. These were times when I didn't have much work to earn income, so it was an important amount of money at that time.
Lucky you. For those people like me who never won on lottery games, let's just be happy for others for their luck. I personally haven't win any lottery games even if it is a small bet, it's just that I have a not so good of a luck on lottery games, that's why I stopped trying participate in lotteries. Winning twice on a luck based game is crazy as majority of people doesn't even experience winning on those in their entire life.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dangerous chasing losses on: October 26, 2023, 01:22:35 PM
Chasing loss in gambling is not really good because at the end you might loss everything you have. And that is the mindset of many gamblers. They think the their next game will give them what they have loss from the previous game and they loss out again and bet or play again until everything in the pocket or in the wallet is exhausted before their eyes always open to see and the brain open to understand that they wouldn't used all their money for the gambling or they wouldn't chase the loss. chasing loss is not always a favorable thing to do.
I can remember very well that when I started gambling, I do not have control over my somehow addiction gambling. I noticed that if I lost small amount of money and I continue to gamble, I will lose all. Not that I will continue to lose. I will continue to win and lose randomly but after several games played and gambled, the loss will surpass the profit and before I know, all my money would have been exhausted. Chasing loss is a bad idea and very related to gambling addiction and it can happen to beginners gamblers.

       -  You are, without a doubt, not the only one who has encountered such things as a gambler in crypto gambling, even though I have also been in a scenario where I know I have lost but continue to play. That's why I didn't realize I was going closer to danger while trying to recoup my gaming losses.

And the risk is that my money will run out, so instead of not having to gamble, I will move more and more with the urge to recoup my losses.

That is what exactly chasing the losses. The thing is sometimes we really don't know that we are chasing some losses. I myself had experienced the similar thing before when I'm still very active on gambling. I know before that I'm doing gambling with a caution but instead of cutting the losses, I continue and continue to play to atleast get to the point that I can hit the break even point where as you know, bring me more deposit and lost more to the casino.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Used Our Wedding Savings to Play Bet on: October 26, 2023, 01:01:07 PM
Depending on the girl, it will be her decision if he can forgive the absolute madness that his fiancee did. His fiancee might have a good reason why did he try to use their wedding money to gamble but the way to fullfill the good intention is not the correct way. It will be a absolutely hard decision for the girl to forgive her fiancee but even if the girl forgave him, the trust that is broken will be his forever burden. If this story is a real deal, I wonder what did the girl do after discovering the fiancee mistake.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy on growth on: October 26, 2023, 04:23:32 AM
Hi all. How to buy more when growing? Today we are growing, but I don’t want to buy. Share your experience in this matter.
Try dollar cost averaging, research that and apply it to you. I know that we all want to buy our asset at it's all time low or on it's lowest price that you want to buy but this doesn't reallly come into reality that much often. Even those who made good profit didn't buy their asset at it's lowest, some of them just accumulated no matter the price is. Try to zoom out and try to forsee if the asset you are buying can grow more. Just like on bitcoin, it's never too late to buy some. Imagine those who bought at the peak of 2017 bull market, it was tripled in value last 2021 bull market.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Noticeable New altcoins that launched in 2022 and 2023 on: October 26, 2023, 04:01:36 AM
Arbitrum are one of the tokens I'm anticipating to have a massive price growth as we approach bull market. Aptos and Optimism are other coins that i have the same hope of going the same path. I'm doing cost averaging into these tokens. These tokens haven't experienced a bull market, a massive price growth and has a strong support behind it. These are the factors of the recent successful tokens last bull market, along with the trend, I hope that these tokens will get us good profits.

I don't shill but I personally believe that new tokens or tokens created during the bear market are the one who will rise during the bull market.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 25, 2023, 03:32:33 PM
They are probably popular because of the amount they are trying to spend on the casino and that's how they are going to make it seem like. Someone who wins a lot and bets a lot enough to make a career having to do gambling and streaming.

It's interesting to many because they want to watch someone fulfill their fillings in which they are "lucky" to win. They found backup to it or reinforcement or something. That could be the case.
Sometimes even the money or credits that the streamers are using in their streams are fake even the platform, where the odds is programmed to be in their side. I guess it's what viewers want to see, how the bank roll grow in the streamers hand. Until they try the casino and ended up losing. I've saw many streamers that is doing casino contents which is random for them since they are not typically playing casino games and they are absolutely killing it by winning big time, this is one of the clues that they are paid/fake casino streamers.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shame on haters for claiming that crypto is widely used in terrorist financing! on: October 25, 2023, 03:11:28 PM
It's not impossible that terrorist can use bitcoin or other cryptocurrency for terrorist financing but it's just the small part of it. It's just that karens or non-believers always thinks that it is majorly used that kind of way. Did these karens ever speaked that banks or fiat transactions are the one who are always being used by these terrorist's to fund for their wars? At least on bitcoin, it is trackable on the blockchain. The fact that the usage of bitcoin is just a small part of the illegal activities, it will all be blamed to crypto LOL.
298  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: October 25, 2023, 02:39:27 PM
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: October 25, 2023, 02:20:35 PM

Nonetheless, it should be banned worldwide. @2Pizza410000BTC, a lot of government officials are into cockfighting in the Philippines. Cockpit arenas starting from small municipalities to big cities are duly registered.
It's just to sayu that this bloodthirsty entertainment should be banned.  However, there are many countries where this is a very profitable business that is in demand by the population.  And it can even be regarded as a sport.  For example, in Madagascar, the cost of a good rooster, trained by a specialist to participate in cockfighting, can even reach $500.  And this despite the fact that the standard of living in this country is very low.  For many residents this is a huge amount.
And even if the government begins to ban cockfighting, and this is a centuries-old tradition, cockfighting will still not stop, but will simply begin to be held secretly behind closed doors.
So it's almost impossible to ban it.
Banning cockfighting seems impossible since it is protected and some government officials profit from it. Even if the government were to implement a ban, it is likely that some smaller cities would continue to operate the activity, as some law enforcement officials may be corrupt.

Banning this bloodthirsty entertainment is necessary, especially since there have been cases where owners were attacked by their own chickens, as was the case last August. It is important to protect both the animals and the public from such cruel and potentially dangerous practices.
Pretty much. Cockfighting is a well known gambling game in our country and the government is ok with it because I believe they control it and of course they generate income from it by collecting taxes. Even if cockfighting arena is available in our local area, there are still people who operates underground illegal cockfighting games that are being raided by the authorities. I don't do cockfighting but I think people resort to illegal cockfighting fights because of the heavy tax that the cockfighting arena collects. It's a give and take situation but I don't think that this cockfighting game will disappear in our country soon. In fact, I haven't even seen any protest about physical arena cockfighting in my whole life.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Instagram Banned Bitcoin on: October 25, 2023, 01:53:18 PM
I don't use instagram that much anymore that's why I personally isn't affected by this but surely there are people or company that are affected by this bitcoin post ban. Instagram is under Meta so I'm speculating that facebook is next? This is the reason why we need a somehow decentralized online platform or something that is open to cryptocurrency like twitter. I'm just skeptical of the primary reason of instagram for the ban that it is for the community protection. I wonder if they will lift this ban soon.
