2801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ApeSwap Vs PancakeSwap on: May 11, 2021, 08:50:22 PM
I don't think we can compare these two platforms. Pancakeswap is clearly the most used platform in BSC and have the most volume. Pancakeswap bring BSC to mass adoption, they opened a door for masses. Other clone platforms may stay in the business but won't pass Pancakeswap.
For investment wise you can make more gains in smaller platforms but risks are higher for them as well. Big money stay in platforms that are proven already.
I agree that nothing can be compared to pancakeswap, however there is the simple fact that one thing will always pass the other. I do not care what coin or exchange or project we are talking about, eventually something else will pass that, I seriously believe bitcoin will not be number one coin one day, don't know which coin/token will pass it but something will eventually pass it one day.

This may not be ape vs cake situation because ape is already doing as great as it can do and it is still nowhere near cake, however that doesn't mean that cake will always be number one in BSC neither, it will just be number one until something else passes it. Ape is also a decent one, if you missed out on pancake, you could invest into banana so that you could profit from the increase of apeswap and make a good profit, maybe it will not be as good one day and you will lose money, but it is a risk worth taking for me.
2802  Economy / Economics / Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks? on: May 11, 2021, 08:11:57 PM

You have used a quite cheeky image there, I mean it does help with your point but it is definitely cheecky. Netflix went up 13488% that is true but it is SINCE 2004, so that is 17 years, and it is same for others as well, disney is high but since 2002, and Tesla got high but since 2011 as well. So long story short all these things made a profit in a decade or two for what bitcoin did in half a decade, that is not really that shocking if you ask me, that is why the question of "why to go stocks when you can make that much in crypto?" Because there are altcoins that probably did this much just in 2021 for the past 5 months, and that means stocks are not really an ideal thing to invest into.

The real reason to me would be that if you trust a company and you want to become "partners" you can sort of become one, a tiny one but you share that companies success, and if you really want that, then there is nothing that can stop you.
2803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 10, 2021, 08:54:28 PM
https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/kylian-mbappe-decision-could-influence-24071437

According to Mirror, PSG will go for Salah if Mbappe decides not to extend his contract and leaves this summer. Mbappe has been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester City lately. Salah seems that he is having problems at Liverpool. He would be one of the best choices for PSG. But I'm not sure whether he can fill Mbappe's place really.
You know what shocks me the most about this type of situations? If Mbappe doesn't extend his contract, that means PSG will not be able to sell him, which means they are not going to make a profit from him, which means if they want to buy Salah from Liverpool they will have to pay a lot and without getting any revenue elsewhere. If they sold Mbappe and got Salah that would have made sense because they would have used that money instead, or maybe even have some money left, however Mbappe will not profit them at all in that case.

This tells me, if they want to get Salah and if they have the money for it, that means they can keep Mbappe AND get Salah as well. Maybe the salary situation could be a bit of a problem but I am sure they can cut it from some other players, have a worse bench or something, hell get it all youth bench but they could have salah-mbappe-neymar if they want to. These type of news literally means they can do that, but the idea of "only if mbappe leaves" is the weird part, get him even if mbappe stays right?
2804  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: May 08, 2021, 07:16:04 PM
The "Vault - Lock/Unlock Chips Feature" wasnt just implemented for fun but for future use when you/we will be able to trade chips. Right now, there is indeed no point in doing so but I thought I would share with you that it`s not just a fun gimmick.  Wink

Unlocking coins in the vault normally comes with a little delay before you will be able to claim your chips and sell them - this is to prevent too many people unlocking due to market fluctiuations.

Long story short: Chips will become tradeable sooner or later and that`s why this feature will be needed.
Do you know what the future use case could be? I mean it is a fun little feature there and I get it that they want to do something a little fun for everyone and I like that, but if there is a future feature that we do not know about, I love to hear about it. The time period is not a problem at all, it is something expected and I wouldn't be shocked if every other place was the same as well.

I mean there are too many panic sellers out there, too many people who care about the price movements of their coin that are too blind to realize they are actually not profiting in fiat when they wait here, they are profiting in crypto and in the long run that is better. However I also get some people, like I read somewhere that dogecoin investments on casinos dropped as much as 60%+ total, that is understandable, if I had doge, I would have sold it long time ago as well.
2805  Economy / Economics / Re: If Something is cheap you Buy it Buy the dips on: May 08, 2021, 12:36:56 PM
One just needs to be extra careful of whatsoever coin you want to invest into irrespective of the dip. I have more than 20 coins receive from airdrops and bounties which are dump since 2017 till now.
That might be the common scenario of most of the people here. The good thing is, you had not spent your hard earned money but you spent your time and efforts (like I am ready to work hard for hours but I will hesitate to spend my BTC). You might have been happy this time if you were focusing only on bitcoin kind of known things. But, people were accepting whatever coins given out for airdrops/bounties; that must be the actual problem.

Buying at dips is good but only for the case of known and highly reputed coins like bitcoins and definitely not for any coin. Never try to catch the falling knife but you should be good at your due diligence to filter out potential things from rest of shitcoins.
2806  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal cryptocurrency trading volume beyond expectations on: May 07, 2021, 04:44:03 PM
Revenue increased by 31%, from $4.62 billion to $6.03 billion.
If it is all about net revenue then paypal must be doing great just because of adopting cryptocurrencies. They themselves declared about the performance as the strongest results in their history which might be alarming to others to think about incorporate cryptocurrencies at any possible manner so that they could enjoy good revenue by adding new set of customers for their business. Not sure how many of other market giants to start think about adding cryptos into their business model.

I just wonder why payapl did not add cryptos to their business last year but along with on going bull run. I mean if they have added last year itself then we might have started bull run earlier than usual which might have led to have bigger ATH than usual Wink.
2807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you set stop loss for long term gem? on: May 07, 2021, 02:51:13 PM
I want to ask for some long term hodler or altcoin gem hunter there.

Are you considering having a stop loss for every altcoin you bought for long term?
I just choose the coins which are suitable for long term holding hence I never preferred for going with stoploss. I simply hold highly known and established coins which makes me to continue my holding with more confident about bouncing back of markets. If you are taking time to choose your coins after long due diligence then you can avoid going for stoploss things.

Stoploss is good if you choose bitcoin/ethereum for short term trading. Because, there are big volumes happening on those coins which will help you to get another opportunity.

I invested with Lisk/Ada/TRX kind of coins but they got dumped after my investments but I simply continued my holding and they slowly turned back. Right now I am holding ada in profits but LSk?TRX yet to get into profit zones and I believe I will get very soon.
2808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Elon Musk's goal with Dogecoin? on: May 07, 2021, 12:48:33 PM
I am wondering if he will keep tweeting about it after the bull market is over.
He may keep tweeting or may not but I am sure before end of the bull market, he might take dogecoins into 2nd or 3rd rank in coinmarketcap in most probable case. If he will be able to take dogecoins within top 3 rank then he might not need tweeting continuously. I mean dogecoin will keep promoting on itself. The goal of Elon Musk must be both making money from dogecoin pumping and making it as a prominent coin.

this was just a demonstration how a influential individual can control the masses with social media because then it would be a big hit for the whole crypto space.
But I guess his main goal would be being a big hit in this crypto space and for that he might have used social media as a medium to attract new investors. So, the final benefits must be only for this crypto space.
2809  Other / Archival / Re: Everyone is following the same strategy on: May 07, 2021, 09:40:59 AM
every trader has the same mindset and it is to earn from thier trades but not all are using the same strategy .
newbies use common strategy because they are easy ex. buy low sell high but advanced traders can have a different approach in to the coin ex. they buy high and sell high .
Yeah, probably newbie traders might be using same strategy due to lack of exposure toward bitcoin markets and its volatility. But, I am not seeing that as a disadvantage. Because, when more people take same position then market will move on that direction for sure. I mean when everyone is trading same asset and buying around same price levels.

if everyone follows same strategy it will be easier for manipulators to manipulate this market but wise traders already think of it before they do and they try to be different .
I do not think so. When everyone follows same strategy and same kind of signal then market will trade too strong with decent volume which will make harder for whales to manipulate. Only on weak volumes, whales can easily manipulate.
2810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Scalping even viable in Cryptocurrencies? on: May 07, 2021, 08:07:43 AM
The only advantage that this type of trading has is that it is in the market all the time, any movement can be taken advantage of, but the cons are that it must be on the PC very aware without moving, only very alert, of course these movements they are effective when done with a lot of money at stake.
But, I am not ready to consider the advantages we can enjoy with scalping but I do bother on what are the difficulties I may face if I choose scalping as my way of trading.

1. I am not ready to watch market screen all the day.
2. I do not want small profits even it happens multiple times a day.
3. Even I am good at technical analysis, I do not want to risk against bitcoin's volatility.
4. Multiple trades may lead to big exchange fees unless we are having top tier benefits in exchange fee structure.

I am comfortable with long term swing trading and as well with long term holding for years to get me decent profits after years long holding. So, scalping is not my cup of tea as of now. Probably in future if bitcoin market trades with less volatility, I may consider it.
2811  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: May 07, 2021, 06:40:15 AM
The question is when will this happen? As you've said before, Bitcoin needs to break past the latest ATH to bring back the hype among investors and traders alike.
Yeah, it has been changed from "how fast" to "at least when". I mean as of now, I do not want $100k in fast manner, just slowly getting by ATH and then small correction and again a new ATH like that will be more than enough.

I agree if bitcoin shows a new ATH then investors will get back their FOMO which might be the trigger, we are all expecting.

it looks like Bitcoin's adoption is accelerating at a fast pace. This means that we'll see Bitcoin reach $100k faster than we've previously imagined.
At current price levels adoption of bitcoin must need to be happening in massive level so that we can find significant changes in bitcoin price levels. But, I am not seeing that is happening right now which may be the reason I do not agree that bitcoin may reach $100k faster than what we had speculated.
2812  Economy / Speculation / Re: The total BTC balance on exchanges continuously decreasing since 2020 on: May 06, 2021, 09:34:02 PM
Bitcoin is very bullish since late last year until today. This bullish season may even extend up to the last day of the year. There are so many great news about Bitcoin adoption. Not to mention that there are also very popular billionaires and financial figures who are already hopping into the bandwagon. And this is just the beginning.

I think Facebook is not the only company that is suspected to have already accumulated Bitcoin. There are probably more of them that are also hoarding in silence.
Many many companies definitely collected bunch of bitcoin I am sure of that. I know that they have to declare it for the shareholders otherwise its a SEC violation however it could be done over person and nobody has to know about that. Think about it this way, what if Mark Zuckerberg bought some? Or Jeff Bezos as well? These are super wealthy people with a lot of money so they may have done something like this and we may have never heard of it before.

This is why I think its quite obvious that we should not be focusing on the companies alone, we should be focusing on the people as well and I believe it could be something that is personal and individuals who are super rich may have bought some. Billions of dollars of bitcoin may have been purchased between these people, buying 50-100 million dollars worth of bitcoin is not that difficult for them and not that expensive, 40-50 rich people like that and we got ourselves billions of dollars.
2813  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Welcome back to the Premier League- Watford FC!! 🚀 on: May 06, 2021, 09:04:58 PM
^ Yeah I know Chelsea need the points but they're not going to care because winning their second trophy will guarantee them a ticket no matter what into next season. City's probably going to "throw" that game with resting as many players as they can, early odds were 4/1 for Chelsea anyway which I booked early.

Either way, not a nice outcome for me, damn you Ramos.
I agree 100% that City may end up not playing all of their players, it was a compact year as well so players are very tired after such a season but I also believe that these teams have like less than 10 games combined between them, so maybe City players may still try?

I am not saying that City would lose, I am not saying they will win neither all I am saying that it depends on what Pep decides to do with the team and if they do play the starting eleven and put all their players in, there is a bigger chance that City would win that game, if they end up not putting those but instead put in youth or bench players then there is a bigger chance they would lose. It is not going to be decided on the pitch, the moment I see the starting eleven I will know who will win but that is usually way too late to gamble as well. I however feel like City will win champions league for sure, that is a bit more certain in my mind.
2814  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa needs to fix continent, richest people are politicians on: May 06, 2021, 08:42:31 PM
I believe that we can reach that point, yes the human nature is pretty selfish but if little by little we raise at least a small percentage of generation that is virtuous, I think that it is enough because they know what to do, they raise more of it and lead. The problem with the USSR is that it landed on the hands of Stalin and almost everyone on the position of power is power hungry.
There is the discussion. Everyone talks about soviet union, venezuela, china, cuba and many other places and say that it is a failed communist state and nobody talks about the fact that ALL the power is at the hands of the few. Anyone who read animal farm would know that communism starts great but then becomes horrible because people who are at the top is untouchable and anything that they say is the law. As long as that continues, it will always be a problem. Same goes for most other nations as well.

I know europe is not bad about this, they are doing alright, and even USA is doing "decent" by most nation standards because they can at least change their presidents whenever they want to vote that person out (which happened recently). However there are so many nations where there is one person and they keep becoming president for life, and that is the real trouble.

Investors should also be divided into two large classes.
The first invest in order to have a constant income in the future (maybe a small income even after a considerable time of the project).
But experience shows that in cryptocurrencies, the bulk of investors are those who invested quickly got a profit and quickly leave the project (sell tokens) in order to continue to behave this way.  These second investors (and they are the majority) are completely unnecessary for the project, since for the project they only bring harm and chaos.
I do not get why people would invest for a quick profit into a casino. If you want to make a quick profit there are other methods that you could do, margin trading, leverages, even small cap coin purchase could still be a good one in few days if you are lucky. However casinos are not the right place for a quick profit if you are an investor, it just doesn't work like that. Sure if you invest now and some super rich person comes in and gambles tens of millions of dollars and lose them all that would work and I would get that, however most of the time we are talking about something that is rarely there, it is usually not like that at all.

Normally the house has an edge which is the profit margin most of the time, and that means you are going to gradually make more and more profit but it is going to take some time for you to get there so you need to be patient about it.
2816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 06, 2021, 07:17:48 PM
I already read some rumours that Mercedes wants to have Rusell in Bottas place during this season. They aren't that happy how Bottas performed in the last races.

https://www.planetf1.com/news/george-russell-replace-valtteri-bottas-rumours/
Russell is definitely a big up and coming name, he has been racing incredibly well so far. Last year he had just one race where he could show what he could do but obviously he was way too scared of the management so when he was asked to do something he did that and he was scared when racing as well so he didn't do as well as hoped.

However given enough time and experience that dude could become much much more than bottas ever was.
2817  Economy / Economics / Re: Government policies help to grow the price of bitcoin on: May 06, 2021, 06:39:30 PM
Government keep on pushing the cryptocurrency away, thinking they'll be able to control its widespread. They are not aware that they are actually helping it prosper by their policies and regulations. In fact, because of their blatant rejection of crypto, it has gained attention from the media. There are news and articles circulating online about what cryptocurrency is and its potential. This makes the crowd draw their concentration to what it has to offer, leading to more users and investors in cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin can't be manipulated and be enclosed inside the box by anyone else. It will surely bloom and thrive sooner or later. Government can do nothing about it. The more they hamper its growth, the more it will persist to soar.
I do not think as pessimistic as you do. I mean sure there are nations that has banned bitcoin, banned mining, banned whatever related to crypto and those nations do make it harder for us to buy crypto if we are in that nation. However look at USA and European nations, those places are basically just doing whatever they want to and that is the important part, if they really want to they could have banned it as well and they did not, now they are even supporting it.

So that means even though there are few nations that do not look kindly on bitcoin, there are more nations that support crypto revolution and regulate it very well so that is a good thing. I am not saying that what the other nations are doing would be good, banning it is very bad for us, but if we just look at the bad side we will see bad things, if we can also look at the good nations we can be optimistic about it.
2818  Economy / Economics / Re: Markets taking profit on: May 06, 2021, 05:35:51 PM
I am not a trader but likely I am a long term bitcoin holder. It is very common that we experienced bullish and bearish market every year. Even that kind of pattern is very important for me, because my habbit is sell when it's price go up and buy when it's price go down. By what way I can increase the amount of bitcoin that I have. Although I am a long term holder but I always take profit in bullish market trend.
I think most importantly we have to determine our trading goals, between the short term or the long term. if we are a daily trader, then I think we have a little profit to cut profit. and looking for a reverse price correction to buy. but place a cut loss for each transaction
Yup, as a daily trader your main aim should be making some small profit with the daily up and down in the market, and that’s how you’re going to be profiting. While as for long term traders, they invest and plan on holding for a long term till the price goes up.

Moreover, I am not ready to accept that most of the people are taking profits right now. I believe some people might be doing that as they have misjudged about the future of bitcoins but people who are all believing into the final ATH yet to come, might be simply holding like how I am doing for years.
2819  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Stocks on: May 05, 2021, 09:31:52 PM
I do not get why people have to go with stocks. The real reason why we are in this mess economically is the stock market and people are too blind to see it. Why? Well simply every company in the world that has a stock needs to keep profiting and keep profiting in order to keep the share holders happy right?

Well, if there is a finite amount of money in the world that means one day one company will own all the money in the world if they keep profiting constantly.

We know that won't happen so there is a money printing going on, which means companies are capable of making more profit since there is more money printing. We all know printing money doesn't solve any issues and the debt in every nation grows bigger and bigger, inflation gets worse and the people at the bottom are the ones who are paying for all this issue. So crypto is definitely the way to go for me.
2820  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Dominance Update on: May 05, 2021, 08:35:19 PM
We can't say that "price dropped without tesla, so we shouldn't worry about a drop with tesla". I mean it can drop without any sales from tesla that is true, but that doesn't mean that it can't drop if Tesla sells neither. This applies to all companies that have a lot of bitcoin, if they decide to sell their bitcoin that will hurt bitcoin price a lot. Not just because they sold, which in itself will definitely drop the price, but the fact that it also will create a hoard of people who will sell because of that news as well.
Yeah, by combining those two things together and we are in a bad situation. This is why I believe we need to make sure we are doing fine, it is not going to be easy, but if you could manage to find a balance where you are guaranteed and leveraged against a sale that may happen from them, and also even more purchase that may happen from them.

This is just buying and buying and buying so that you could get profit when it increases but having a stop loss in a good place as well.
