Atlas, what is your obsession with pretending to be older gentlemen? Last time it was an old guy who had a ranch of horses. You're really pathetic.
If you're talking to me, you've mistaken me for somebody else.

That's what Atlas always says Wink.
Aw, who gives a fuck. Just because MNW has a gay Atlas fetsh doesn't mean we need to worry about it as long as "Atlas" (or just an innocent bystander/newcomer) is posting constructively and not trolling the fuck out of everyone with his bullshit propaganda.

That's what Atlas always says Wink.

Lol, couldn't resist.

From http://dcao.org/?p=39

Quote
In July 2011, BitTalk.TV was unofficially announced. Later in December 2011, BitTalk Media Ltd. (UK) was formed with 7 members of the DCAO: Matthew N. Wright as Director of Operations, (...) Since its inception BitTalk Media has received funding from several sources, including a gracious monetary donation of $11,000USD from Zhou Tong, as well as high-end rendering and audio equipment from Ken Armitt, both members of the DCAO.

No wonder you were squealing like the whore on Zhou's defense. Shame on you writing that shilling article on your shody blog. You are a disgrace to journalism and to this community.

Here, I'll quote the post I already made to you an hour ago since you selectively drew information from it for your agenda.

[...] it aggravates me to see him among us like it never happened.

I can not understand why theymos pulled this deal with this scammer. Oh sorry - of cause he can not be called scammer, because it's not proven. There is no evidence at all.

Now this thread has been moved to off-topic to ensure that ZT's new "customers" do not get distracted by totally irrelevant information...

Well, maybe ZT will use some of the new funds from NameTerrific to refund some of the Bitcoinica victims... out of pure generosity... Roll Eyes

Careful. They are going to ban you and pretend you never existed. Maged (a moderator here) has pledge over and over his support for Zhou. Here is Theymos explanation of why taking the funds from Zhou was an ok thing to do (disturbing if you ask me). You judge for yourself:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=94475.msg1062355#msg1062355

I just found out that the Bitcoin Magazine took a "large donation" from Zhou. It seems he knows how to buy friends with high exposure, and with a clear ability of control the information in the bitcoin world. It would be interesting to get anybody from this forum to fully disclose how much money Zhou Tong has "donated" to the same.

You just found out he donated money to BitTalk.TV (not Bitcoin Magazine. Bitcoin Magazine didn't exist at that time)? Why did you just find that out? I posted that literally 8 months ago. http://dcao.org/?p=39

That was of course for cameras back when BitTalk Media was just bittalk.tv. The magazine came way later and -that- funding was 100% from Vladimir, myself and recent investments through angel.co. Thanks for the free publicity though! http://bitcoinmagazine.net

I guess that ends -that- conspiracy theory. Now excuse me while I go purchase a domain on NameTerrific.
2923  Other / Off-topic / Re: Zhou Tong advertising on BitcoinTalk. on: July 31, 2012, 09:31:06 PM
@OP: Until Zhou is proven guilty of something, I don't know why you would have a problem with him advertising on the forums. Do you have a problem with Pirate advertising on the forums?
I don't really have a problem with it, especially if he's considered innocent, but even then it's really none of my business.  I thought shakaru was innocent and look how that turned out.  I just noticed that there was no current discussion thread about his advertising on here and decided to start one.  Maybe should have done so without the image.

Fair enough. I though Shakaru was innocent too until he changed his mind about having cancer and never reported that little 'fact' to the forums. He still hasn't paid anyone back afaik.

Alas, it is all true. I am Zhou Tong and Atlas.

Don't worry though, I've already killed myself as punishment for my deception of leading 3 lives:

2927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement about the suspect of recent Bitcoinica hack on: July 31, 2012, 02:27:27 PM
I'm not talking about permission from Bitcoinica/Intersango, I'm talking about a legal warrant that allows him to do what would otherwise be considered a criminal act.
Since Bitcoinica did not file a police report (as far as I know), from legal point of view there is no reason to assume there is a criminal act involved. Technically, Bitcoinica's computers were (allegedly) compromised. That would be the criminal act if it was reported.

ZT did not file charges against his "friend" either.  If I had a friend who took a large sum of money and made it look like I did it, I would report that right away.  I certainly wouldn't protect my friend's identity.   Cheesy

Oh so he didn't say friend, you're just adding that part yourself? And he didn't protect his identity either and basically told everyone here exactly who it was?
2928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement about the suspect of recent Bitcoinica hack on: July 31, 2012, 01:55:22 PM
Typing something as Truth does not make it so. Especially when up against the array of evidence, means and motive to the contrary. Not forgetting Zhou's prime bullshit storytelling.

BB.
This applies to you as well. Need I point out again the array of evidence that Zhou did not steal the funds?

ZT didn't steal the money but his "Buddy"!

Can you find the post where Zhou said his buddy stole any funds? I'm having trouble finding that post...
2929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement about the suspect of recent Bitcoinica hack on: July 31, 2012, 01:44:35 PM
Truth 6: I didn't steal the money.

ZT stole 20k of bitcoins

At least Zhou is providing information. What are you doing other than frothing?

I can do whatever I want - I didn't steal coins from the community.

So basically you're saying Zhou Tong can do whatever he wants as well?

Why do you all pay attention to this attention whore again? Easily one of the most fucking irritating people on this forum.

2933  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HOLY SHIT BTC-E.COM hit $40 per BTC! on: July 31, 2012, 06:12:04 AM
This stuff has to happen if we are ever to learn. Bitcoins will always be solid, but exchanges have  aways to go.

Pretty slow learners then.  It's not like any of the hack/cracks to date have been sophisticated or involved zero day exploits.

Amen to that.
2934  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tomorrow at around 9:40PM KST my death will air on MBC in Korea on: July 31, 2012, 05:49:23 AM
We were French priests trying to spread the gospel to Korea and the Korean king thought that it undermined his authority so he started war with the French. Killing me was just a "Fuck you" on the way out.

Is the audience meant to be sympathetic toward the Koreans or the French?

The "villians" in this season of this historical drama are the ones pushing for the war, so I'd say sympathetic towards the French. If you watch it yourself, you can get that feeling from the actors as well (the Koreans are trying to help us escape persecution and end up getting killed to save us).
2935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] The world's first handheld Bitcoin device, the Ellet! on: July 31, 2012, 05:47:42 AM
Any news?

Just two things:

1) Investment rounds in the UK and US are still under way

2) We're still in negotiations with our new manufacturing company in Shenzen.

I'll post more when there is reason to. It's all boring development and business meetings from here on.

So, MNW, what the hell were you lot up to?
What did you do to piss these guys off?

We were French priests trying to spread the gospel to Korea and the Korean king thought that it undermined his authority so he started war with the French. Killing me was just a "Fuck you" on the way out.

For the record, I asked the producer if he'd let me take an arrow to the knee, but he just looked confused and said that wouldn't work.
