2981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull and bear market. on: March 05, 2020, 05:51:26 PM
That is what happens when you try to find a way to trade what is not to be traded.

Normally, bitcoin is not something we should be focusing on profiting when it is going down, that is stuff that financial world is doing with stocks and so forth and we should have been better but we didn't and now some people are paying the prices of that.

I really wish there was no shorting ever in bitcoin world but since there is no regulation there is also no way of stopping those people as well.

Anyone with enough power could simply sell all of their bitcoin and drop the price of bitcoin meanwhile still shorting bitcoin and can make money that way. It is hard to buy millions of dollars worth of bitcoin all at once but there are tons of early birds who have thousands of bitcoins to sell to make it happen.
2982  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If we have great ability, is capital from bank loans safe for us to use trade? on: March 05, 2020, 05:26:22 PM
To be honest I do understand those people because lets face it, if you wake up every morning, go to work, come back home and watch some tv and sleep and repeat that the simple fact is you will probably not get rich. You have to do something different to stand out and make some extra because the world is designed to keep the working class keep being working class and unless you risk something you will not make any money and will be poor until you die.

However, the way to get out is not to risk the money you do not have but more like risk the money you worked hard to save. Some people literally wake up at 6 am, study a bit about their startup, go to work at 8 am, come back at 5 pm, start working on their startups at 6 pm and work until 2 am to make their dreams work, that is how you get richer, not by taking a loan and trading with it.
2983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth is no different than a fiat currency? on: March 05, 2020, 04:11:00 PM
In any other sense of the word, ethereum is totally different than a fiat currency. There is literally not even a single parallels of ethereum and fiat aside from both of them being a currency that you can use to buy stuff, literally the ONLY common thing they have. However if you want to talk about which currency is more like fiat in all of crypto world that could be a whole another discussion.

All of them are crypto and all of them are different than fiat but if you want to make sure just one of them that are closest to fiat currency in many ways (and removing stablecoins obviously) that would probably be more ripple and not the others, even though I hate ripple, at least it has a regular life utility that banks are using which could be compared somehow.
2984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Did Binance just help Justin Sun take over the Steem network? on: March 05, 2020, 02:46:56 PM
Can someone explain to me the details of what happened afterwards? I am not really great with blockchain takeovers and now there are places who are saying they are removing their "votes" and so forth, what does that really mean? Plus isn't it somehow illegal for exchanges to use their customers money to do something?

Just simply imagined, freebitco.in offers 4% for all bitcoins staying on their website for example, what happens if an exchange decides to keep their "cold storage" as just freebitco.in savings account and get more money from them? I know that is unsustainable but the idea stands, no exchange should be allowed to touch customers assets without their permission if you ask me. No matter what the reason is or no matter what the result will be.
2985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 05, 2020, 02:16:44 PM
Another point of view that we are not considering is the fact that these type of entertainments do help the public forget about what is going on out there and how it is scary outside. Definitely you can still ban the games to have visitors until this is solved but at least until that moment you can make sure players are safely playing games and airing that live on television to make the public forget about these things for at least 90 minutes, at least for some fans.

The public is what make sure these players are paid this much and that is basically the reason why the game is so expensive nowadays, players basically owe the public to keep them occupied during such a bad time. However we can't ignore what players want neither, if they do not want to play we can't force them at all.
2986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not Just for Online but also IRL Gambling on: March 05, 2020, 01:46:25 PM
Have you ever played on a game were it is totally a scam without realizing it? I just seen a facebook post in which there are several games that doesn't let you win even though how many times you try and you'll just feel like giving up then they will tell you that you won or let you win ... but without realizing, it was just a tactic/s to have you play until you burn your eyelids and money to that game.

This applies on both Gambling Online/IRL, So tell me have you ever seen one of these games and you'll just realize it after the game or watching other people play that certain game?
This sounds like the problem of people who are ready to gamble everywhere they do see but not for the gamblers who are caring while choosing their reputed gambling houses.

Gambling at random places definitely will be a problem. We must take time to due diligence on where we are going to risk our hard earned money for ever reasons like it could be for entertainment or for multiplying it. But, we should start only after reading lots of reviews and opinions from real time experiences of trusted users.

Personally I never gambled at a random place just after the first glance. Moreover I do gamble only at crypto based gambling houses only and not even think about trying at fiat based gambling places due to various security reasons. This must be the simple reason why I just gamble with full peace of mind all the times.
2987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 05, 2020, 10:24:23 AM
I do see the maximum age restrictions is 23 in Greece but I do believe around the globe it should be at least 30 so that both men and women will feel their life's responsibilities so that they will gamble accordingly. I am not seeing any possibilities for such world wide standard for gambling restrictions age wise.

I guess we do have standardized restrictions for porn and drug consumption but gambling also should be treated similar to those things so that people will enter into gambling only after with matured mindset which must be very basic requirement for avoiding gambling problems.
2988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: March 04, 2020, 02:50:29 PM
I doubt anyone is hiding anything or I doubt it is as big as people make it out to be. Think about it, there are countless diseases in the world right now and none gets this much attention, even common flu kills more people so there is really no need to overreact and there is nothing to hide about it neither.

There are sometimes some diseases that breaks out in the world and whatever reason that happens, it doesn't really kill as many people as we overreact and for some reason everyone keeps talking about it on news channels all the time. Just calm down, wait for it to be over and meanwhile buy stuff when its cheap and when this is gone and forgotten the prices will be higher and you will be in big profit.
2989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin will be your favorite this season? on: March 04, 2020, 01:27:12 PM
I think ethereum and eos will be the favorites this year for me and for many people depending on how developments go. Eos had a huge year in 2019 but they got clogged in the blockchain transactions for that many movements and I can see how that could be a trouble while also being good (after all it was used too much to get clogged) but in the end they will probably fix it and not going to get that trouble next time there are so many transactions.

Ethereum will also have many good commits as well and combine them both it will be a great year for those two coins. More importantly I am basically excited about what they can do and that is the good part, if a coin makes you excited about its future, that means it is a good one.
2990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Was Ripple the cause of this bullish trend? What do you think? on: March 03, 2020, 08:28:29 PM
Now, Ripple owners are saying that because of the lawsuits they are getting the XRP market could collapse because when they are ordered by the courts to pay up those law suits they will be forced to sell the XRP (millions of it they printed for themselves for free which is epitome of bad crypto moves) will be sold on the market and that will result with the price to go down. Ripple company will be fine because they will simply print more for the future but the people who wold XRP will be screwed for the punishments of the company.

When we are talking about a company and a currency like that, I do not understand how people are still rooting for it to go up. It will not go up, it will go down and in the future it will be a shitcoin like it supposed to be already.
2991  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading with flash loans on: March 03, 2020, 05:05:37 PM
Flash loan trading is more common in forex and not in crypto, it is already quite frankly risky for the exchanges to do margin trading and leverage trading and they get insurance for something that will be heavily favored and happens compared to regular crypto trading, they can't afford to do flash loan trading at all and can't force people to pay up when the time comes considering we are all over the world.

However, if you are doing forex trading with flash loans you are most probably in the same nation as the place you work with which allows them to take your KYC basically and if you fail to pay up then they will put a claim on your loan and simply sue you to pay up, we don't have that kind of thing in crypto.
2992  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: March 02, 2020, 04:55:59 PM
If you are a newbie the best option is probably "investing" because then you could wait longer when you end up in negative. When you buy bitcoin at $10k but it goes down you could wait for it to go back up over $10k once again, it may take a year for you to make a profit again but at least you could make a profit from it. That's how the starting should be but I would suggest the more you invest the closer you get to trading because you will have more and more investments that you may want to move around time to time and that will lead to trading as well.

So, when you are a newbie you start with investing but in few years time you turn into a trader because of how much you invested.
2993  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Derivative trading? Should an aspiring trader have it up his sleave? (Pro/Cons) on: March 02, 2020, 04:12:24 PM
So, I have been vanilla trading for a while(Basically HODL). I wanted to learn more about trading types and specialize into them and stumbled upon Derivative market (Options, Futures, forwards, Swaps, CFDs). Wanted to discuss about the pros and cons of learning them. At the moment I'm mainly interested in Options and Futures. What do you guys think? Worth learning? or no? Advantages? Disadvantages?
I totally agree, you do not need to do derivative trading to know what it is or how it works, you should learn it for simply just learning it and that's it. If you simply learn it to be smarter about trading I am pretty sure that will work for other stuff as well.

Like let's say you will do regular trading and so forth without any other stuff, no futures no leverage no derivative, simple regular old buy/sell day trading, if you know what derivatives are you surely will become a better trader at that as well. That is why learning more and more ways of trading could only help you, even if you do not do those tradings at least you can bring some information from there to your system.
2994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has Blockchain Technology revolution is successful or not? on: February 29, 2020, 06:39:50 PM
Yeah, everyone just focuses on the improvements on the financial side of the things when talking about blockchain and what type of things changed as well and so forth but when you look at other stuff you would realize that in reality blockchain actually provided a lot more than just finance, there are tens of sectors who have now started working with blockchain to improve what they have into blockchain to make a difference.

So, if we are talking about revolution in finance maybe not THAT much changed but when you consider all other stuff that blockchain changed you will realize that it actually revolutionized too many things in life and can be considered successful.
2995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real Anonymous Coins Are Free from Restrictions on: February 29, 2020, 05:56:35 PM
Monero has always been a different one, it is bitcoin of privacy coins and I doubt it would ever be broken. The team also has been trying really hard to keep it asic resistance as well. So, they are both the best but also getting the most attention as well and funding too which means they have more funding and more power to fight everything bad as well.

If you give that much funding and that well team behind any coin that coin will go up, not just monero or privacy or even bitcoin, if you give this much funding time and great team to ANY coin ever, they will go up as well. So, I would say stay with monero if you can, no need to dilute the investments to other ones.
2996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with the Kick token and it's 888888 Frozendrop? on: February 29, 2020, 04:35:44 PM
I guess they just gave away free money to people, what were you expecting? How can a coin that basically gave away thousands of their coin for free ever go up? What is mathematically possible? What would the people who received the free money would do? Just buy more along with their free ones and not sell it and hold it?

Do you really think that people would do that? I mean let's be realistic there is no way kick token would ever be this strong and it was a fake one that didn't worth anything at all from the first place and it turned out to be nothing in the end as well. So just sell if you have any and get out because any team that does these type of risky things do not worth your money.
2997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: February 29, 2020, 01:55:19 PM
If some people like these keep on spending time on finding good projects with the lots of due diligence then I believe this community will be at the safe hands. I'm not just talking about bounty hunters benefits alone but if you keep on ignoring baseless projects then scammers will start losing their confident which will be ending up looking for some other platform rather than keep on attempting with their scanning ideas.

I highly appreciate OP's efforts and contribution. Hope many people will start doing like this so that we can filter out scammy things so that we can start focusing only on right projects.
2998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: February 29, 2020, 11:58:34 AM
We all have a new hope for crypto this year and no one saw coronavirus outbreak coming, if this isn't contained anytime soon all dreams might be nothing but dreams this year, Coronavirus ain't helping at all
Hopefully doctors will develop antibiotic for this virus otherwise no one could save all of us. Already WHO warned about 70% of the world population to be suffered by this coronavirus. Anything could happen, that is the life. Be prepared to face anything because no one could be assured when there will be an antibiotic for this virus could be invented/discovered; in between time also anything could happen.

I mean to say, when our life is under the conditions of uncertainty, nothing in important in this world including cryptocurrencies or our local fiats. It must be an healthcare emergency world wide. Only when the spread out of this virus will be kept under control, we can think about our routine life again.
2999  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Charts Are Garbage on: February 29, 2020, 09:13:29 AM
"Not candle based?" What does that mean? Candlesticks can be applied to any price chart, any instrument. They just track the open, low, high, and close.
Probably he is referring that candle stick pattern recolonization is not working for crypto trading. I also have felt like that. It is like when"doji" appears, we may expect a reversal of market trend but market may continue its current trend. It is possible for any market where whales are shaking directions on their own preferences. Even crypto markets are having enough volume, it is not big enough to withstand against few individual/group of people's manipulation.

All the markets which are getting manipulated time to time, may turn as an exception for technical analysis. Technical analysis work perfect with enormous volume; enormous volume is needed for ensuring withstanding against manipulation.
3000  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When trading, never ignore the statoshi value of your coins on: February 29, 2020, 07:53:57 AM
For long term, there is no doubt that only maximizing satoshi would give us profits because the increasing price with time would also increase the value for satoshi. If ever the bull runs make bitcoins go to moon that the price for single satoshi might even be compared to a dollar so it might be most important to consider the satoshis we have for holding them in long run.
When the price is big enough and the satoshi is actually a decent amount (you can even say one million satoshi if you want, so we don't know what it means for the satoshi value) that is becoming hundreds of dollars or even thousands of dollars if you mean a lot more. It is impossible to think that one person will not care for that much amount of money, everyone would even if you are rich enough to spend that on a dinner.

However when it comes to finances there is no little amount, even 1 satoshi is a great profit if you profit as long as you do not lose money at all. There was a bot years ago that was working super fast and aiming at profiting 1+ satoshi profit, it was working to make thousands of profits like that per day to combined bigger profit instead of making 1%+ profits constantly. That bot didn't end up doing what it was suppose to but that is exactly what everyone should aim at.
