3021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The day I entered the bitcoin market.... on: February 05, 2021, 07:18:21 AM
First, learn a little… When many still do not know what a wallet is, why do you want to risk your scarf?
Do not worry, the market is always there.
Instagram has a lot of tutorials that will help you
Take a month to observe the market and you can spend a very small amount and get training. Wink
Yeah, it’s never late because as long as the halving continues I believe that we will keep on hitting a new milestone every four years or so, and some people don’t know this yet and that’s why they are being reluctant and don’t want to invest in Bitcoin , they don’t know that there is a good time for them to buy this asset which is now.

As for some of them the problem they are having is that they don’t want an investment or business that will take long for them to make profit from it. I have seen so many people who talk to me about Bitcoin and their main target is to make money immediately and become rich, because they have heard and read about others that became millionaires through Bitcoin.
3022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reason why we look for a new project for investment purpose? on: February 04, 2021, 06:04:33 PM
As the blockchain tech is getting advanced, people’s trust and expectation gets bigger.  Huh
It is not about expectation but about greediness mate , People are looking for more quick income in which they become more greedy and failure.

this must be change and must be corrected because new project means new chance of scamming.
Financial freedom doesn't always mean that you will get rich, it means that you take the control of your finances and do not give it to anyone else, that is the real financial freedom. Aren't you sick and tired of the world that pampers the rich and helps them and gives them tax cuts and bail outs and just basically allows them to have many yacths and mansions and everyone in the entire world works for them so that they could have mutli helipads they can travel anytime in the city, whereas regular people take the bus and barely cover the rent and do maybe a second job and barely see their wife who works overtime and eat unhealthy junk because they barely have any time to cook and only thing they can afford is junk

That is literally the "middle class" these days because there are also people who starve to death and people who die because they can't afford medicine IN THE RICHEST NATION OF THE WORLD. Crypto is a way to stop that, and that is why we like it.
3023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange to use a US Citizen Abroad? on: February 04, 2021, 04:28:17 PM
I heard people who use binance.com in the US... then moved on to binance.us... which is basically almost the same thing?  Its only with other us traders right?  But is there a ton of volume there?  And do they have the exact coins that are traded in binance.com?  The thing though is i wouldn't be able to use binance.US while outside the US right?  I would sign up for an account while abroad... so would there be issue with this?
How do you plan to go about Binance not accepting US customers, so you want to look for some ways like making use of a different number and signing up with the info related to the abroad countries you stay?

If you’re living in a particular country abroad and you have got your ID as a citizen there, it would be very easy to do all that. For now if it’s easy for you, you can connect with people that are trading cryptocurrency in that location and know what they are into and the exchanges they are, and maybe Decentralized exchanges as those ones wouldn’t require any KYC, which means you can access them no matter your nationality.
3024  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with 'Selling early' regrets? on: February 04, 2021, 11:32:29 AM
You sell something and later down the road, that goes multifold.

How do you deal with such things in positive way?
Simply , Be realistic and Put to your mind that you cannot bring back the past instead work for the future.
and Bitcoin or crypto trading does not stop just because you lose today.

Instead of Blaming yourself why not use the time and effort to look for another investment and will not become Panicking again this time, Use the mistake to be more knowledgeable tomorrow.
That is the best advice I have seen in a long time and it is 100% true as well. I believe it is in a situation where we are living in a world where we keep thinking what could have happened instead of thinking about what could happen and that hurts us a lot. I personally live with this problem as well, not that I keep thinking about the past because I have given up on that already so I am good there, but I fail to imagine what could be in the future, I always think how I will not be making too much profit and only be fine with the small amount of increases I get. I could make a good amount of profit if I focus and work hard but some reason I do not look at the future brightly even though I do not look at the past I am still %50 wrong here. Great advice though, everyone should follow this.
3025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could DOGE could reach 1$...? on: February 04, 2021, 10:30:40 AM
If you are talking about those who bought DOGE during this last ATH, I don't think they are in a bad situation. In my opinion, there may be another pump at any time that will raise the price above $0.10, maybe even up to $0.15. Then everyone will be able to earn nicely. And again, we will be sorry for those who buy during that pump. This is how that market looks like. We can do nothing with it.
I agree that pump is a bad place to buy and nobody should do that but I also agree that it is not end of the world neither. I think buying at pump means you will profit less than anyone else and waiting for pump to be over with (after dump I mean) you will have a much better price to sell, but I also believe that doge could very well be as high as 0.25 as well and who can say it will never be there, this is crypto after all and crazier things happened so I totally get that it could very well be a lot higher.

So, we are in a situation where dogecoin will profit anyone who has bought it, it will break over the all time high price and reach to a profitable level, but when you will sell and profit will decide on timing, some people will profit very quickly, some people will profit later on, but everyone will profit if they wait long enough.
3026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRX Pumps as Justin Sun Promises to Buy 1mil USD of GME on: February 02, 2021, 08:14:37 PM
I reckon much of us are misinformed on this story behind GME. The mainstream media always creates exciting storyboards for more clicks hehe. The real story is this pump was started by Michael Burry. It only begun a domino effect from there.

Burry's hedge fund Scion Asset Management spent nearly $15 million to purchase 5.3% of ailing video game retailer GameStop at between $2 and $4.2 a share. According to Forbes, Burry's play was to convince GameStop to use its cash to buy back stock – thereby retiring about half of its shares outstanding.

Burry, who was dramatized by Christian Bale in "The Big Short", called for GameStop to exhaust its $300 million buyback authorization in a sharply worded letter to its board of directors. The company's entire market cap at the time of his letter was just $300 million. Burry's play reportedly sparked one of the most out-of-control trades in financial history, resulting in billions of dollars in paper profits for some investors – including quite a few amateur speculators. In turn, this caused billions in losses for some of the world's biggest hedge funds.

That is really not the point here, that is really not the reason why any of this is happening neither. People assume this is the reason but we are talking about people who have been holding this for years now, there are quite literally people who have hold it for over a year, nearly a year and a half right now, all from reddit. This was all stemmed from r/wallstreetbets and nothing more, not scion, not burry, nothing else and you can't just put all the credit on some hedge fund manager when the whole thing started because we were against the hedge funds to begin with.

If he did a good trade at the time good for him, having a good trade before this started doesn't mean that he was the one that started it. That wording of "burry's play reportedly sparked one of..." part, NO it wasn't burry's play and it wasn't because of him, it was u/deepfuckingvalue and that's it.
3027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot or Binance Smart Chain? on: February 02, 2021, 04:15:10 PM
Now the question is, which of the aforementioned platforms is better? AFAIK, Binance Smart Chain (powered by BNB) has a greater level of centralization than Polkadot itself. This should make the latter platform a much better choice for everyday people. Still, there's potential for BNB as it could attract businesses and companies in the mainstream world. Which will survive in the long run, is an excellent question. Thoughts? Huh
Once something is centralized , then the community wouldn’t show much interest in it and I guess that’s what is happening with the Binance Smart Chain, a lot of developers would prefer the alternative that is decentralized as they would like a platform that’s going to give them the full freedom to be able to run their projects the way they want it without any form of restrictions at all. Then as for Polkadot, this is not the first time I’m seeing people hype a new project as an Ethereum killer, I am not going to believe any of that until I see it come true. In most cases Devs are still going to consider Ethereum.
3028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most important cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin? on: February 02, 2021, 03:13:53 PM
There are few cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin that will be Monero, Ethereum, Litecoin and so is preferable for me.
Apart from Bitcoin other cryptocurrencies I feel are very important are Litecoin, and Ethereum. I don’t know about Montero, I have not used it before, but people claim that it is the number one privacy coin in the market alongside Zcash, so maybe it can be worth considering in that aspect. The ones that are really worth it for me is Ethereum and Litecoin.

Litecoin is a good cryptocurrency and offers a very good option for transactions, because it’s cheap and fast. Then Ethereum has been serving for smart contracts and has been steady leading the way for others to follow.

3030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE To The Moon on: January 31, 2021, 11:00:27 AM
Honestly pump and dumps never really mean anything in the crypto world, they are unsustainable and they are worthless. I think it was Elon again who did something like this before, I remember vividly there was someone who talked about it or tweeted and the price went up super high once again, and it crashed back to old prices once again, it was having hard time before this tweet too and it got alive again once more.

People need to realize these are unsustainable so you can't buy during these periods, if you really want to make a lot of money from it, wait for it to go under 70 satoshi, even wait for 40-50 range if you want to go in heavy, after that you could wait for it to go up again, but a sell order at 250 satoshi and you will 5x next time Elon musk tweets about it, and I doubt it would take more than a whole year, dude keeps tweeting that all the time.
3031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 31, 2021, 09:55:05 AM
Trading is almost like every other occupation. If you are really good in it you can get rich. Now what is most important with trading is to have strong character, have knowledge and to have clear goals what you want to do. From all people trading only around 5% are earning. Keep that in mind and good luck.
Yeah, everyone is trying to "get rich" in crypto and that upsets me a bit. Trading is something you do for a very long time to get rich, it is not a get rich quick scheme, nobody offers you 10% daily profit everyday for a year here, that is not the case. If you want a ponzi scheme go look for a ponzi scheme and hope that you are one of the few rare ones that got paid from it on early investments instead of the ones who got scammed by the late ones.

Because, we are talking about crypto here and it is a legit good investment which will not make you rich over night. However if you study right, learn very well, know everything, read the charts properly, use good indicators and buy-sell at the right prices, you could make a decent return in the long run, and I mean long run, not daily every day. This doesn't mean you won't have good days, but they won't be all the time.
3032  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best crypto exchange? on: January 31, 2021, 09:21:50 AM
Everyone keeps saying binance, I feel like there is really nothing new to talk about since it is obviously binance, if they weren't the best place they wouldn't get this big and get this much customers and volume and money and make this much revenue neither, nobody is forced to trade there and everybody still does, just because it is at the top doesn't mean that you have to use it, people used other exchanges when other exchanges were at the top back in the day, but binance is different, we do not trade there because it is the most known and all others use it, we use binance because we actually like it and they take this job seriously and their business runs perfectly.

They know what traders wants even before traders request it and they do it and promote it so that they can get even more customers. At the end of the day this discussion is useless if you ask me at this point, since rarely anyone says any other place.
3033  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian currency big problems on: January 30, 2021, 03:28:30 PM
Russian currency have big problems
The only Country is left is China who want to Deal with russian currency.

But in Russia Everybody who knows that ruble is highy inflated and all most worthless they all ready use thether cryptocurrency.
The Coming sanctions can only proof that currency is close to de valuation.
As the Russian natural resources was Main reason to buy ruble to buy and export to the west.

If China will not do any Exchange with rubles its sign that currency will be devalued.
How sure are you that the Chinese are the only ones that are ready to do business with Russia? Huh There are still other countries that are out there and ready to import from them. And as for their natural resources that you’re talking about, they are not the only country that worries about their natural resources running out, there are so many that worries about that same problem, but we can’t tell whether or not it’s going to happen.

But, I know for sure that they will have other means of income for the country, and don’t be surprised if China is the least in that list.
3034  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Treasuries on: January 30, 2021, 01:18:51 PM
Some people think that fortune 500 companies investing on your assets give a sense of power and trust over the cryptocurrency you are trying to sell. That is simply not the case, it either falls to this scenario, or to a scenario where the buyer would refuse to purchase because of his fear of the value being manipulated by these big companies for their own benefit, which they can most definitely do. So it's still good that you're doing this and allowing more people to check it, as it allows new investors to decide whether to jump in or not.
Well we can have both of them at the same time and that is what you are seeing right now. We do get some sense of power when big companies go into crypto because I have been here long enough to be labeled "drug money" as well, crypto was seen as something illegal people used and not regular people like me used according to "experts", and even today Janet Yallen type of people say that crypto is something used in illegal stuff. Nowadays those fortune 500 companies who invest into crypto, which gives me comfort about the idea that we are now a mainstream asset and that is a good thing.

Of course I am scared that it could be manipulated like crazy and that could be the reason why I may lose money one day, but that doesn't change the fact that mainstream finance world cares about crypto a lot more now. So I am both relieved about it but also scared about it at the same time.
3035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the right time to buy? on: January 30, 2021, 12:19:46 PM
I need some advice, I had some crypto a few years ago and then sold it and made some good profits and I am now planning to buy some crypto once again and I admit that I am outdated on the crypto world right now. Can someone give a brief explanation of what DeFi is and what are your top 5 coins/tokens and where do you usually trade it. Thanks!  Wink
Explaining defi here in few sentences would not be possible, it is something a bit more complex than that so you will have to read about it from articles that explains it a lot better.

https://academy.binance.com/en/glossary/defi This artcile for example is from binance itself and it explains what defi is, they are basically talking about it in enough details and anything else would have to be checked token by token situation, uniswap is different while avax is something else and dot and link are different basically they are all a bit different from each other.

At the end of the day defi is a marvelous improvement on what blockchains could have done before and now blockchains are better thanks to defi. Secondly, I can't really give you 5 coins that I can suggest because if they go down I would feel bad, you should probably do your own research instead of checking what others are saying.
3036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many coins/tokens do you think will survive in 2021? on: January 30, 2021, 10:53:56 AM
Many would just get delisted either due to no volume or no future and this has happened over last few years. So those who just invest in any coins without any proper research may find themself in bad shape. Either need to have a great research backing to invest in a coin or investing in the top altcoins are the normal things people do who cannot afford too much risk.
Many ARE delisted, you see 7-8 thousand there but most of them are delisted, for example places like binance have limited amount of listed coins whereas there are thousands of coins, that means there are exchanges that lists these small timers right?

Well, the problem here is that, how low does it get, at certain point even the smallest of exchanges will not be listing coins that have daily volume under 100 dollars, there is no point of putting a coin and working hard to list it just so you could have maybe 0.1 dollars profit from it everyday, that is 36 dollars a year, it doesn't really worth it. So that means top 1000 will be listed, all others will be delisted or will be incredibly funnily low in numbers and thats why you will not see it continue for a long time. Which is why I believe we are talking about only the big ones most of the time, nobody cares about the low ones.
3037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Do Some People Still Ask For The Best altcoins? on: January 30, 2021, 10:16:04 AM
It could also be because you can't watch a lot of coins at same time. Once you've researched a few and know enough about them, it's hard to choose a new one to test. Random searches are a waste of time. When someone tells us which one to pay attention to, it is a great help.
You do not have to do random searches, if you want to invest into a coin, searching it should not take longer than 1 week, that means you could research more than 50 coins per year, and since you can't make a profit in a week (well you can, but do not expect it since it is not common) and get out, that means between fist week to last week you will find few coins that you want to invest, more than few really. That means just take a look at the top coins on coinmarketcap and if you like 5 coins from the 52 you check a year, that means you are already invested, after that you will be capable of checking another 50 next year and if you want to you could check all the new ones as well and that would mean about 40 old, 10 new and highly ranked ones as well.

Long story short in few years you will have more knowledge about all coins in top 100 and new ones than 99% of the crypto world, in just 2 years or so.
3038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this correction lead to a bear market for Bitcoin? on: January 29, 2021, 06:33:27 PM
I even doubt that we are going to see a price as low as that, however the dominance of bitcoin is going down once again which means that there is some money going out of bitcoin and finding its way to altcoins and this is never a good thing, not because I hate altcoins but because sooner or later this means that speculation is taking over the market and while this may make the price of all assets on the market to go up at the same time a significant crash will most likely follow.
I believe the reason why there is money going from bitcoin to altcoins is that there are too many people who think bitcoin did increased as much as it can, maybe it could be 40k or even 50k but that is not going to be too much whereas with the same amount of money used for some altcoin we could have 2x or even 3x increases which is the point of trading.

I am not saying this is a good idea but I know a lot of people and communities that believes this and that is why they do it. If they could put 10 billion dollars collectively into bitcoin, they could maybe make it go 2x, if they put that into ethereum they could 4x and if they do it on doge they could easily 20x and that is why people are moving towards altcoins. Look at what doge did after few tweets, you think that is sustainable? It is not but it shows the world that it is that simple to increase the price.
3039  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you buying right now ? on: January 29, 2021, 06:01:11 PM
I bought a little BTC on the basis it can break out here, Im unsure if it makes this scenario or not but its definitely a viable prospect.   We've made a slightly higher low, the only thing that would confuse bullish movement from here would be a lower high of some sort.  So just waiting I guess to see how it goes, market itself is likely uncertain in this.
I always consider true price movement must be rubber stamped by each sphere on earth so Asia trading, europe and americas and I guess a bit more also so I often look at 4hr bars though daily and weekly also is an ideal confirmation till then we guess.

Think I need it to beat 35k really  & if we dont perhaps we repeat some more again which is fine also all these prices are high.
I agree that 35k is definitely the magic number. If you check what is going on with the price of bitcoin, that 35k was the point where we broke down and after that it turned a correction into stable price at around 30k, when in fact we were expecting it to just simply go down and up after the correction.

In any case we are talking about bitcoin here, I can't really say this will happen or that will happen, anything could happen and we may never know, it could go to 35k+ price and crash back under 30k who knows?

It is just that we have seen the charts and we have seen the numbers and support and resistance and we know what bitcoin "should" do and what "should" happen if one thing happens, this is why I believe it is going to be going 40k+ if it goes to 35k+ but I can't guarantee anything like that. It is good that you bought some, but do not forget to put a stop loss neither.
3040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How youtube bitcoin professional traders are scamming on: January 29, 2021, 04:19:33 PM
Bruh, always avoid all these cheap exchanges that comes out of nowhere, you have to be very careful no matter how much anyone tries to convince. Scammers are always ready to pay some desperate freelancers a few bucks to drop a lot of positive comments on their website, I have seen things like this happen, so don’t believe everything you see.

Always make use of the big websites that are already verified and trusted and have been around for years, we have Binance and Coinbase and Hitbtc, if his signals doesn’t work with any of the big exchanges, then why some useless small exchange ? Lol. And stop looking for signals, learn to trade by yourself. You just learnt a lesson and that made you wiser now.
