361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin will FAIL on: March 24, 2024, 08:38:50 PM
Likewise, there is also a shield behind Dogecoin, namely Elon Musk... He is the driving force of dogecoin and even Tesla dares to accept dogecoin payments instead of bitcoin.
Large capitalization is still very likely to continue to perform in the market, in addition to the largest community among other shitcoins, some even believe that dogecoin will return to $1 in the current rally.
Yes I go with your opinion because the main driving force behind Dogecoin is Elon Marks. Elon Musk effort Dogecoin has created a good position today. It is heard that he will use Dogecoin as a payment method on his X platform. Also, if he starts Dogecoin payment method instead of Bitcoin in his Tesla company, then Dogecoin will easily exceed $1 and may exceed more. But I believe that one day all these systems can be introduced by Elon Musk. But I think it's better for all of us to invest some dollars in this Dogecoin for the future. I have kept and am trying to keep more.
I saw a source from Tesla about Dogecoin payments -  https://www.tesla.com/support/dogecoin
As for Platform X, we haven't heard anything about it yet, but we do know that Elon Musk is a bit crazy for daring to turn a meme coin into payment for his company, but he's a big influence on Dogecoin.

Please about your own perception of this investment because there are investors who hate meme coins and those who are happy because of the hit and run, but never put all of it on dogecoin whatever it is, make as little as possible because we know the future.

due to its popularity, i'm sure there are lots of investors that wouldn't consider Doge as shitcoin anymore. the dogecoin millionaire pours out his money into doge and the man didn't even sell any doge since 2021.

we all know this started as a joke but there is just more volume of this coin since 2017 and to this day the accumulation keeps building. it would be funnier if one tradfi institution file an ETF for this lol of course its a long shot but this is the new economy.
362  Local / Pilipinas / Re:Crypto Taxation on: March 24, 2024, 06:38:27 PM

363  Economy / Economics / Re: How Bitcoin Supercycle could become reality on: March 24, 2024, 06:26:26 PM

this supercycle has been talked about years ago. cool to see it will be possible already by how the market is doing this year that we hit the previous ATH without the halving. we normally get this after halving so it is amazing how this will carry on.  I'm sure the ETFs have something to do with this, it's not just BlackRock that's buying up so yes I'm gonna be hoping it will really happen. who wouldn't want that?

when baby boomers are trying to buy some BTC, i suppose we're already heading there.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock Launches Its First Tokenized Fund on the Ethereum Network on: March 24, 2024, 06:11:57 PM
Is this a bullish news for eth community? Yeah i think so. This increases the adoption and trust throughout the industry. Also blackrock is using eth netwotk and they have also filed ETF application for eth so speculators will take it as a primary sign of the possibility of the eth etf approval. This will help the eth community to overcome and negative rumors about eth foundations.

they'd be bringing more assets in ETH and likely if what @bbc.reporter said to be true that they'd be creating their stablecoin, the transactions would go wild. congestion is going to happen in ETH thus making the fees go haywire.

but yes this is going to be bullish. Blackrock being the largest fund investment company, they are going to bring lots of money into the market. they really go beyond what SEC doesn't want to happen. and this is in the middle of their lawsuit.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you this the current correction was local bottom price for alts? on: March 23, 2024, 08:35:27 PM

i think this is the last chance for anyone who hasn't bought it yet. the market sometimes shows its mercy by being cruel to the weak hands. somebody sold lots of their SOL below 180USD. there are hundreds more of the altcoins that haven't gone up too well. we may never see the same price again even after this bull market. the adoption today is not the kind of adoption we have back in 2020.

Please note that sometimes the idea of it being the "last chance" can create a sense of urgency, but it is essential to approach investment decision with careful considerations rather than FOMO (fear of missing out). markets are dynamics and unpredictable. Therefore, the best strategy is to accumulate coins/tokes by employing Dollar Cost Average (DCA) to maintain the average cost of investment at lower level.

Solana at current price of $180 presents good opportunity to start gradual accumulation, specially considering the potential for further decline, if the Bitcoin market turns bearish.

it's a bit huge already when you buy SOL, there are lots of cheaper coins out there. I'm already glad i bought some Matic for under a $1. $180 will be huge when you have plenty of coins and the altcoins soar.

the bottom i think has been reached already and it's just a gradual climb this time but it will burst any moment. it almost reaches $80k and then $60k so now its already bouncing. i think its time to buy.
366  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession soon? on: March 23, 2024, 07:49:32 PM

Because now China is rich enough to train their army for Taiwan's invasion.

No need to continue, according to your logic the only country which deserves to produce riches is yours?
Or none as it's up to their people to do what they think they need to do.
No regime is eternal and stable, it only takes a few ingredients and they fall.
Just wait until China starts mass-manufacturing electric vehicles and then see what will happen to your beloved Germany and the €uro. Internal combustion engines will be penalized heavily (this will bolster China's economy), EURO 6 already imposes some insane demands.

Then maybe you'll understand why West shouldn't have helped China in the first place, but it will be too late for you to realize why... Wink

Macroeconomics aren't for everyone, I'm afraid.

Regarding Taiwan:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-03-20/china-on-track-to-be-ready-for-taiwan-invasion-by-2027-us-says?embedded-checkout=true
https://www.businessinsider.com/china-building-military-scale-not-seen-wwii-invade-taiwan-aquilino-2024-3

Russia/Ukraine conflict will be the least of our worries by then... China vs Taiwan will be 100 times worse for the global economy. Expect microchip prices to cost thousands times more due to scarcity.

Could be the next bear market/crypto winter (or maybe it could spark hyperinflation to introduce CBDC as a "New Deal"), we'll see. Smiley

they already have manufactured lots of it in Mexico which TRump threatened to ask huge tariff for it if the Chinese EV producers are planning to sell on US soil.
the Chinese were producing them on US soil but they didn't seem to like it so the Chinese moved to Mexico.

they do have Tesla though so this is quite a competition off Musk but the price between the Tesla and BYD EV is huge. Tesla is around $80K while BYD cars are less than  $30K. so there is a huge difference, it can really compete well and they are saying it works longer than Tesla's battery.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about BitNasdaq Cryptocurrency Exchange on: March 23, 2024, 05:58:35 PM
My first time hearing about this exchange.

My question is, are you affiliated with NASDAQ, a known American stock exchange based in New York City?
NASDAQ stands for National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations so by calling your exchange BitNasdaq it only means you are affiliated with NASDAQ.

If you are not associated with them, then the move is shady as hell, and they will come at you with all they have got. I hope you are aware of the legal implications.

that seems to be the impression. if they are not affiliated with NASDQ then they are just riding the popularity and there may be backlash because of this attempt.
they have a poor interface by the way. anyone will not see this being done professionally.

there isn't an ANN thread created for this exchange yet so if they wanna talk to the community, i think they should create a proper one instead of just hoping for word of mouth.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin hype getting higher on: March 23, 2024, 05:28:20 PM

and also we are seeing new memecoins in different smart contract platforms, just yesterday i learned the TONFISH memecoin launched on TON platform. i was trying to buy some but it is yet not listed anywhere but on their own DEX STON.fi

the memecoins are flooding but it's DOGE that is leading since coinbase has good news for it. this week its going up 16% while SHIB is just 5%.
369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin vs election? on: March 23, 2024, 05:07:38 PM

Trump recently acknowledged the popularity of Bitcoin as an additional form of currency so somehow he changed his stance on it but even before this he already sold some NFTs using ETH which later he also sold his ETH. though he sold them, it only means he benefited from crypto and that it became useful to him.

i don't the relation of the good news about Trump making the uptrend in BTC price, it could just be a coincidence but it's true too that Biden's administration has no regard for what is going on in crypto however it's in his watch that BTC ETFs are approved.

370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: March 23, 2024, 02:59:07 PM
Hoping people share the video so that new investors see and learn about DOGE so they are inspired to join in!

Done!

https://twitter.com/dogermint/status/1771534990322393373

Doge will always hold a special place in my heart. Lost so many millions gambling on golf and women's tennis. Way she goes. But at the same time I'm thankful for having taking part in the Dogeparty Burn of 2014 -- I didn't realize it at the time but I was creating and trading some of the first collectible and tradeable tokens on any blockchain (only preceded by a few months on Counterparty).

Anyway, here's to the future of Dogecoin, and may we all go to the moon in our own way.

Wow you were part of some pretty historical relevant events back in the day, thanks for sharing.

If I knew you prior to making this episode I would have probably reached out to get some context from you. Thanks for sharing the video and here is to a great rest of 2024 on the Doge train!

seen one of his videos before, he even mentioned bitcointalk community about its history. if he one day will be on Netflix i wouldn't be surprised. great story teller.

doge has really reached its best popularity in crypto, there is nothing like it anymore. the altcoin with its own blockchain.
its only now i found out the name of the dog is actually kabosu Smiley thanks for the video.

Bitcoin: A Trojan Horse for CBDCs

Lynette Zang, Founder & CEO of Zang Enterprises thinks Bitcoin is the Trojan Horse and said that it wasn't a coincidence that it came out in January of 2009 when QE started in March. And because of the timing of when it came out which was after the 2008 financial crisis, she suspects the NSA has something to do with this.
their conversation led Michelle Makori to be neutral in her view but would like to present a panel to debate with Zang about this.

here's one question that pops up in their discussion.
do you agree with what Zang is saying that because Bitcoin was brought into the traditional system through ETFs mean Bitcoin is not outside the system?

373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dogecoin futures market to launch on Coinbase on: March 22, 2024, 06:45:21 PM
This does not look like an April Fools prank. They announced the futures not only for DOGE but also for LTC and BCH. Et voilà ... see the CFTC website:

It seems thus they're already approved by the CFTC, or at least there are no objections. For DOGE it's perhaps a bigger milestone as for the other two coins, because there are already some regulated LTC financial products (in the US and in Europe), and there's also a BCH Trust on Grayscale.

it's verified and it's not just these 3 coins too. took them so long though since binance had it for a long time. but it would be good to have their CFTC approve it and coinbase is the most popular in US. i think more people will not look at doge as a joke anymore and probably the next thing to look forward to is the ETFs of these coins.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not try out a less popular but promising token? on: March 22, 2024, 06:17:27 PM
Trying out new, unknown, less popular tokens is actually a really good idea. The big value is in low - mid cap coins/tokens that haven’t exploded yet. Sure you will hit a good amount of total rugpulls & scams but you only need one absolute moon bound one to get rich.

its only good if it's pumping in the bull market. there are memecoins that are doing something like this but i would certainly be selling them when the ATH is achieved. there is no good thing to happen when it's less known to crypto.

everybody wants to ride the pump in the bull run though so their strategy is just to keep looking for promising pumped coins, not even a promising coin but something that can generate big profit when it starts shooting to the moon.
375  Economy / Economics / Re: Ignore Financial accountability to your detriment on: March 21, 2024, 07:28:41 PM
When you see a rich man who suddenly becomes poor or an average man who never grew above his current financial state, it's basically because they possibly weren't accountable for the money that was coming into their hands.
It is not just this, there are many reasons why a rich person can suddenly become poor sometimes it is also as a result of poor investment decisions. If you make poor investment decisions even with your accountability, it is capable of making you broke and that is a mistake that some rich may make in trying to get more money and cement their status as wealthy, they may rush into making poor investment decisions that may have bad consequences for them.

Being financially accountable entails that you delegate what your income would be used for and ensure you follow it up to the latter.
In a country where there's a very poor economy, it is difficult to practice financial accountability especially when you have relations, loved ones and close family members depending on you for financial assistance. This is a challenge some of us face.

the dependents should have been helping the person they depend on as well. it's harder to be financially stable when there are people always waiting for your help and you will be dragged along when they are not helping themselves. financial accountability is too broad and teaching them to be independent is part of it. if you keep them dependent on you, it will be a bigger problem when they are used to it.

in some cultures, the wife manages the finances and the husband is just there to talk about priorities but its the partner's accountability and decision.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / dogecoin futures market to launch on Coinbase on: March 21, 2024, 05:55:00 PM

Crypto exchange Coinbase has announced plans to launch futures trading for Dogecoin, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash as soon as April 1.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/coinbase-crypto-exchange-launch-dogecoin-litecoin-bitcoin-cash-futures-april

could just be a great April Fools prank?
along with the Dogecoin futures are Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash. coinbase will launch these derivatives even without CFTC's prior approval. to da moon!
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A weird interview on: March 21, 2024, 05:30:45 PM
i don't think it's weird. while most lunatics will ask for porn magazines, a crypto investor most likely will want to know BTC price. but seeing you have been forbidden to go to the internet for whatever reason, i guess it would make sense to just watch the news inside. a TV would be great. i'm sure they allow prisoners to watch the news.

by 10 years BTC will be mainstream, they'd sure flash prices like the forex rates.

378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are memecoins really important for the crypto market? on: March 21, 2024, 03:36:33 PM
And this same reasons you pointed out i exactly why a lit of them end up as failures, they are just fun fare tokens created to do what full the space, don't get me wrong I'm not against them but I hate when things get abused which in the crypto space we see a lot of those, scammers easily use memeckims to steal funds cause they dint need any complex whitepaper and their audience are those looking for huge gains which are those that
 invest in meme coins .

The only reason why memecoin are gaining ground is cause many investors haven't gotten wisdom that bitcoin is better than all the shotcoins put together and its better to own bitcoin than invest or gamble around with memecoins.

Absolutely correct mate, the reasons we have more of scammers in memecoin is because we have more of Investors looking for a way to make huge profits within a short period of time. Most of these investors lack patience and have greed that why they end up in shitcoins. And newbies also make the mistake of entering into a project because of hypes from social Media and crypto influencers without them looking deep into the coin. There is no doubt that Bitcoin is the best coin in the network, it's reputable, and trustworthy. If you have patience enough, you'll benefit from Bitcoin investment.

memecoins are for fun. it's supposed to make regular people come into crypto by having meme fun. of course they are scams but it helps spread the word. but its how important its role is in crypto market.

some lose their money and some win big which is kind of cruel when the bear market makes them cry.
anyway, this is how it would look like when you lose all your money on memecoins and have to get a job:

i was bothered for awhile. its not he first time i am wrong with my analysis as i thought the dip would just be on 65k actually so I was just feeling very positive that it would bounce quickly so I didn't sell. it's too late for me to sell so I was just holding them since i was expecting more profit after halving.

as of the time of writing its already back tp $65k. this could be the bounce I'm looking for and my altcoins are back to green again.
