361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price back green after hitting $6000 USD, will this trend continue? on: February 06, 2018, 09:13:01 PM
After three-months bearish, Bitcoin price recovered, Tuesday after a long uncertain day of trading. Price reversals at the 6000 USD level mark long wait for those heavy sellers at 19000 USD, but with the recent news about Facebook ban in all cryptocurrency related advertisements and banks ban on buying Bitcoins using Credit Cards, will this bullish trend continue? Your thoughts?

This is not close to price reversals and its not really something to be joyous about because a lot of people that have bought at an higher level are far beyond their target level and won't want to rejoice too soon while w lot of people who held forth are hoping that it will continue to show some increase. Although, this is something away from the down path being witnessed but its still very much far from the position price began to drop.
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now banned in JAMAICA on: February 06, 2018, 08:13:55 PM
11 times out of 10 a central bank 'banning' Bitcoin truly means 'please be careful. We're not going to cover your arses' when people can be bothered to read the 2-3 actual sentences what they wrote. And rightly so. It's not their problem. I'll wait to be proven wrong. It's what almost every other central bank has done.

You just hit it spot on. Sometimes ago when there was proliferation of ponzi scheme in the country there were several bans by all of the regulatory bodies that have to do with finance but still they were unable to stop any of such movement of money since they can't stop.people from sending money to each other. All of the bans were just for them to say "we are aware of what is going on" and invest at your own risk and eventually when all of the ponzi crashed, no one could hold government or its agencies responsible the same thing going down here.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China's "Great Firewall" will Block Bitcoin Website on: February 06, 2018, 06:30:06 PM
More and more news has come up against bitcoin and ICO nowadays,
According to the news that I read, China will use its Great Firewall to block all website that offers cryptocurrency trading and Initial Coin Offer.
Kindly check this link for reference: http://fortune.com/2018/02/05/bitcoin-china-website-ico-block-ban-firewall/

I think this is one of the major things why bitcoin keeps on falling. I hope bitcoin can survive this trial.

This is just a testimony that the Chinese government are not joking and that they are ready to fight the continued popularity of bitcoin by every means necessary to the extent of blocking every site that are bitcoin related this is surely a prank taken too far. The effect will be massive because assess to internet is really something that happen because the government wants it and in this case, what they are saying is that they don't want it and I am actually looking for a way out which I cannot think of.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "BITCOIN price is too high. If it goes down, ill buy it" on: February 06, 2018, 02:02:04 PM
So..

are you buying it ?

That is the irony if things and its mostly about people who are never serious on what they want to do exactly. At the time price is increasing, they want to wait and say its too expensive, asking about whether its too late to enter bitcoin now? or questions about if its not too expensive to buy now but this time when an opportunity has opened itself up, they will still see it as an excuse on either waiting for the price to drop further, or scared of buying thinking it will fall until its too late to enter and the cycle continues all over again.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Had Facebook banned adds? on: February 06, 2018, 12:13:32 PM
Hello guys, several days earlier the news were spread that Facebook bans adds related to bitcoin and ICO, but i still saw them, and new ads are also approved, so have you any information on this issue?

I was surprised too when I saw an advert concerning an exchange site because my thought was everything related to crypto would be banned but truely it has reduced to a large extent as I hardly even see any ICO promotions these days. But whether it remained banned or not, the damaging effect that would happen to the price of bitcoin has been achieved already.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tomorrow in USA this is what will happen... followed by end of bleeding on: February 06, 2018, 07:50:58 AM
Going above our heads to read articles lengthy articles that would not even add anything to our knowledge or change whatever that is going to happen is a waste of time. What is sure is that all of those events will happen and the regulations will be summarised while those that affect us will be implemented and forwarded to us in due time. So let's stop jumping the gun and just focus on what is happening now at this time.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Yesterday India, today china, tomorrow USA on: February 06, 2018, 05:57:10 AM
When I said more countries are going to ban crypto or bring strict regulations some of the cryptomaniacs got mad and lost their minds and attacked me but finally I am right and the new inside news which I have got is more countries are going to follow it. Doomsday are ahead. Don't believe in HODL anymore. Pretenders are going to pretend and play with innocent people's money.

If you will listen to me you will be out with minimum loss. Many people thanking me as I exposed this scam  on Jan 10th and gave solid info how it is going to fall from Jan 12th. They are happy they got out when it was at ATH. Some people who din't trust me are crying as they lost more than half of their money. If you can get out of this madness now, you will atleast be left with half of your money rather than not getting a dime if you keep on Holding by trusting the HODL believers.

Anybody who attacked you because of expressing your opinion on the subject matter is probably doing it because of ignorance of just wanting to avoid the truth. The is exactly what would happen the moment government realises that the authority is being threatened while those who felt there is no need to go all ban would consider the other option which is strict regulations and that is exactly what we are facing but that does not mean the end is here because there is still hope.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If BTC hits $50,000, what price will Bitcoin Cash be? on: February 05, 2018, 07:00:01 PM
If BTC hits $50,000, what price will Bitcoin Cash be? Will it rise in tandem with the bitcoin price or will it reduce as money is transferred into BTC?

A lot of people are here concerned of what will become of bitcoin and you are referring to its relevance to BCH. The bitcoin price itself is not showing any sign of recovery rather its only giving be to start setting upper limit on the negative side. When bitcoin starts recovering, we can then start talking of what the effect will be on other coins. Until then, you just need to calm down and wait.
369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you wondering what's happening with bitcoin? on: February 05, 2018, 08:02:39 AM
A bounce from 8k price just like everyone wants it. Let's hope it happens I have my bids at 8k. Also, the other points mentioned are true too but the market is unpredictable.
Best thing about is bitcoins is it is unpredictable. You don’t know what is going to happen next day. Prices are going higher one day and people starting investing in it and then it comes the next day when you see the price chart going down. Volatility of price makes it unpredictable. People love to buy and sell only because they know there may be chances for them to get profit.

Its really a state of dilemma to even have a slight idea of what is going on with price but what I have noticed is that, it just cut across the entire cryto industry when the price of bitcoin is going higher, all of alts too will witness some high ups and the same thing is happening when the price is going lower too. I feel to see a big surge around here, there is need for consistency in the small increase that is being witnessed because without that, its just going to be the same situation repeating itself all over again.
370  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this new crash very bad on: February 05, 2018, 06:00:57 AM
I notice quite a big drop in the last few hours.  Is this just a short term thing for a few hours and it will pick up again back to normal.  Or will it go much further down into a big crash.

Its really hard to say for anyone as I have just given up.on predicting what might likely happen to price whether there would be an increase or a fall in price because as much as I tried to predict it, it just seems I am shooting in the wrong direction and with that I have made up my mind to letr things play out as its wishes to why I act to the best of my knowledge on the best cause of action at the present moment without having to think of what will happen next. I think that is the strategy for this period of high uncertainty.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should government consider bitcoin as a legal global currency? on: February 05, 2018, 05:56:47 AM
Japan already made bitcoin a legal currency. Would you consider your countries to also pass a law recognizing bitcoin as a legal form of currency?

I am still waiting to read where the Japanese fully legalize bitcoin as a legal currency because I am yet to read the official release to that effect but considering bitcoin as a global currency is something that might not happen in our life time. Since the 1970s there have been some machineries put in place to ensure that the countries in Africa adopt one current but till today, after several years, its still not possible not to talk about a global currency. Should government consider it? Yes but not anytime soon.

373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Any effect behind KYC verification on any project on: February 04, 2018, 02:45:33 AM
The issue of KYC verification this days on any ico one wants to buy is pronouncing. My question is, is KYC really necessary before one can purchase a particular project Ico? Because our documents were mend to be keep confidential and not to expose it to public, and the new rules is not KYC not Ico.
I hope our documents will not be use for impersonation of any criminal activities?
Please I need advice
Thanks

The turn of events makes some things necessary and not important KYCs, white list to participate in ICOs makes those thing seems like a big deal. Its just a way to follow the trend and ensure that the funds generated from such project can be traced and the people behind such investments can also be found. But I wonder if someone with questionable funds will want to go through those stress. If he will just send a mail to the developers and tell them he wants to be an "angel" investor and that settles it.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What NOT to do on an ICO - compiling a list of bad habits for ICO launchers on: February 04, 2018, 02:35:47 AM
Those things you have there are the basic in which I don't see anybody who is serious about his ICO would not want to as a matter of importance take care of those things but one thing is key which is PR i.e public relations a lot of ICOs or upcoming ICO is guilty of that, it takes forever to respond to legitimate questions raised, they chose questions to ask if they decide to even answer any, they disregard all critics as FUD instead of harnessing it for their growth, and even updates of steps accomplished is another problem for them.
375  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Regulating body for cryptomarket on: February 04, 2018, 02:31:23 AM
In stock market the one control in the price of stocks is the country Stock Exchange, how about in crypts who regulating the price of the altcoins in the market? Who set the ceiling price of the altcoins? Who tell that this particular coins are worth of this?

The crypto market by default is to be decentralized where nobody has control ovr the happenings of the market where the price of coins are reflections of the attitude of market participants and nothing else. But today, we have decided to alter that model ruled by profit and creating the right to decide the happenings in the market artificially in ways such as following "expert traders" for market signals, creation and joining of pump and dump groups, following Twitter handles for hints on a particular coin etc. This individually or collectively, decides what happen in the market.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I keep my BTC now? on: February 02, 2018, 03:41:40 PM
At what price did you bought your bitcoins ?
Which was your plan when you first decided to buy ?
Profit ? Technology ? for the hype ?
It was this summer for 2k $ )) I have already earned 20k $ from that but I am very afraid now )
Is this true that you entered at 2k$ and now you are afraid? You are still x4 your asset at this moment. Why you are FUD?

I have come to discover that majority of those that much more concerned about the crash of bitcoin on the forum are not really trying to cut their losses but to increase their profit and that is exactly what is being faced around here. My only answer to questions like this which I am sure that others will agree with me is that sell if you want to,someone is ready to buy but don't just cry fowl over the wrong decision you made when price start recovering.
377  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now it's when people start calling overly pessimistic bottoms on: February 02, 2018, 12:07:04 PM
What esle do you expect from people who are only concerned about the price of bitcoin as their sole motive for being involved in it and related activities. I have even seen a thread that is rooting for bitcoin heading to $1000, some saying bitcoin end is near and a host of other pessimistic moves but for the strong ones, they are staying strong in the face it seeming impossible there is possibiktu.
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto going to DEAD on: January 31, 2018, 11:38:33 AM
I agree with all of what others have said that this time is really a trying times for the entire crypto industry but that does not mean the end of it. This trying times as it is though is not back to the basis from where we started but because we have tasted high levels of prices, and we have been used to such scenarios, that is why there is panics all over about how dead crypto is going to be. I believe strongly in my heart that as much as there are news that are not encouraging, so also are good news coming out what we should hope for is that the good news overshadow the bad so as for us to start breathing in fresh air.
379  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historic BITCOIN crash on: January 31, 2018, 09:47:39 AM
Seeing the comparative analysis showed the one happening at this time is the one that is massive because the past have been overcome already we only need to face the future which is why I am focusing on that. But it will be wrong to assume that the fall happened this year because right from last year, the price has been dropping real hard. In all I am not perturbed and even dumping all at this moment wont be the right choice what matter is what are we going to do about it? With all forces coming against it, this year is going to be a long walk to victory.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: facebook bans bitcoin on: January 31, 2018, 07:50:19 AM
If Facebook is going this route, then its they must have thought it through as a lot of people have used that avenue to scam people out of their resources. I have seen ads on Facebook, and I just know this is a scam adverts but what of people who don't know. A lot of Ponzi scheme is being advertised there with even a Facebook page to deceive people. The fall out from this will just be the ones that would be affected and the dent its causing to the image of bitcoin generally.
