981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction stuck at 0 confirmations. on: July 15, 2017, 03:24:05 PM
oh thanks, did you submitted it? It always says that transactions are beyond limit but thanks for doing it for me.

You need to do it on every beginning of an hour. Like xx:00:00. There are 100 free slots for every hour and those free slots get used in seconds just after they become available.

Use time.gov
so you won't miss the right time to press the button.

Thanks for helping him out and equally being of help to others including me based on the bolded part be cause I have always have difficulty in knowing the right time to submit as every time it's always full that its gets to piss me of couple with the fact that there is no timer keeping watch on the website but with this, I am sure to go back and the service. I am sure this will be part of the reason why people doubt the authencticty of the service.
982  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 15, 2017, 10:46:59 AM
its 2000 now

It's just a beginning.Today's rate of bitcoin is 2096.At the end of 2017 ,it will reach 4000$.Many start to inverse their money on bitcoin due to increase of bitcoin price day to day.Now you can buy bitcoin. Why because ,on August 1.The price will be doubles the today's rate of bitcoin. No one can judge the price of bitcoin after August 1.If you inverse your money today means .Surely you will get huge profit, once you sell after August 1.

Its might even go low further which is really not the big deal to me and quite a lot of others because it is expected to have that considering the lots of news that is being read in recent times and the current phenomenon however, I still believe the time for rebound is still possible but that's not what a lot of people wants to hear, they prefer to count their losses and come back when its showing some signs of recovery which is what everyone wants at this time.
983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just an asset ? on: July 15, 2017, 10:02:01 AM
Bitcion wth current challenge as actually opened up to various discussions concerning its original status simply because of what is being faced now but when we read news of several organisations accepting the coin the discussion changes as to what exactly is the function of bitcoin. For me, I think the two cannot separate from each other as it both serve both functions with one overshadowing the other at any point in time the discussion is to happen.
984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MTGOX case now. WE want our money back ! on: July 14, 2017, 07:45:25 PM
Sorry if this is redundant thread.

MTGOX is on trial again.

We want our money back, since looks like they still have a cashe of coins which now can cover all losses.

I lost some money on route to MTGOX that got stuck in the Polish bank.

These individuals, have to be brought to justice. If don't support and rant about this, crypto won't succeed or at least centralized exchanges won't.

Glad to see the MTGOX guy is tried in court again. Pleaded not guilty. How do you have the eyes to plead that you lying thief.  There is enough money from their money for full investigation.

The work of making crypto a true liberation anti-private-fiat money system will take all our efforts.

Although, I didn't suffer any loss as a result of this, I am happy that people responsible in the crypto world for any sort of anomaly are made to answer for either their omissions or errors that they should have avoided in the first place and even sends a message that you cannot hide under the anonymity of the crypto space and avoid taking responsibility. Whether he is found guilty or not, he has been made to give explanations which is a step in the right direction.
985  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plans for 1st august? on: July 14, 2017, 03:37:39 PM
My plans for the almighty August 1 is very simple and that is holding my coins and nothing is making me changing my mind and even the current price is not encouraging to sell and that is another testimony to hold no matter how small, my believe in bitcoin is unwavering and I am sure this August 1 will come and go and bitcoin and everyone here will even forget what actually happened.
986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Photos: Life inside of China’s massive and remote bitcoin mines on: July 14, 2017, 11:49:16 AM
If this pictures is any thing to go by, then I am wowed to the level of investment put in place in other to generate bitcoin that we all use as if its something that can be gotten from a snap. Its also a confirmation as to how difficult it has become to mine bitcoin in addition to refute the claims if several cloud mining sites that just crop up every now and then claiming to mine bitcoin whereas they are just bunch of ponzi sites.
987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are you sure that Bitcoin will be operated in the bank in the future? on: July 14, 2017, 10:21:30 AM
What is the essence of banking system since 2009 in the advent of cryptocurrency? It is well known that the globally has new invention which has manifested in our economic systems. Cryptocurrency has became indispensable in this world of humanity, which can be advisable for banks to adhere to this idea so that it could later become visible escrow members.

Nobody is sure of what the future holds for everyone of us but for me, I will have to take the pessimistic view on the adoption of bitcoin by the banks which I feel will be a complete deviation of what bitcoin stands for which can equally be interpreted as an hijack of the the whole process. There is an option of them to adopt the blockchain technology to make them more transparent which is enough for them.
988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin at Exchanges on August 1 on: July 14, 2017, 08:28:19 AM
After reading this news https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2017191.0
Is the bitcoin on different exchanges is also at risk? Should we try to withdraw it?
What can we do to protect our bitcoins placed at different exchange sites like polo, bittrex or another?

I dont think this still worth debating at all because there are several threads on this already and even the global moderator release something on the subject matter. If you are sure to risk it, leave it there if you cannot take the risk, just withdraw your coins to a more secure location. Either way its better to be safe than sorry.
989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallet to use in case bitcoin forks? on: July 13, 2017, 11:07:48 PM
Any offline wallet that let you have full control over your private keys.

I suggest you to use Electrum. It's simple, lightweight and safe.

Don't (ever) store your coins in a web wallet or exchange like Coinbase, Poloniex, etc...

This is a question that has also been on my mind too ever since ths discussion has gotten to a head to the point of a thread created by the  Admin that even after several months of being involved in bitcoin, I have only used online wallets which I believe right now is not the right place to keep coins at this time. Hopefully, the worst won't happen in August 1 so everything can be back to normal within a short period of time.
990  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still Believing That Bitcoin Can Rise High? on: July 13, 2017, 05:42:55 PM
Last month, we have seen so many market analysts, investors and speculators telling us to go for Bitcoin as it can soon be hitting at least $10,000 in the next few years and even $5,000 at the end of the year. The picture seems to be so rosy that it also create some discomfort in some people.

The recent dip in the Bitcoin value put some halt to this rosy picture, albeit temporarily. There are still some who believe that this recent development is very temporary and that after the scaling problem can be solved we can see Bitcoin at its real potential.

What is current feel for Bitcoin's value considering its recent retreat?

Bitcoin is still emerging and there is need for the volatility that is being experienced and this is something that will still be with us at least in the short term. And this is the reason why I am always sceptical about all the various thread that will see predicting a high price for bitcoin based on current happening forgetting other factors that might affect the price which is something we are currently witnessing but the hope is not lost because I believe the price will still bounce back to everyone amazement.
991  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Has Coinbase been hacked? Proof within ... on: July 13, 2017, 12:51:33 PM
If a site with the same volume of transactions like Coinbase is being hacked as you have rightly portrayed here one thing I am sure of is that the whole crypto space would have felt it and you wont be the only one creating a thread for that purpose but since reverse is the case, I can only but conclude with what others have said that its either your account has been compromised or you personally is compromised because no hacker will give a notice for you to confirm that he wants to steal your money.
992  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Adding you in skype for a job offer (is it safe or not??) on: July 10, 2017, 07:51:55 PM
I will say, it depends on the job offer and other factors that surrounds it. You don't expect a reputable company or individual wanting to hire a rep on long-term basis not knowing and see who he wants to hire and aside that interviews are being conducted via Skype these days as I have equally done one myself. The fact is if you are not comfortable doing it, just don't move close to it several deals have been sealed via Skype.
993  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 70K USD loan with BTC as collateral on: July 10, 2017, 06:34:46 PM
Sign a message with the address that has $100k worth of bitcoin.

You have been provided a way to sign the from the account you claimed to have 100k worth of btc and if you cannot do the bolded part then you have just confirmed my earlier statement that newbies like you should not be restricted from posting on certain parts of the forum like this.
994  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 70K USD loan with BTC as collateral on: July 09, 2017, 04:15:33 AM
You are a fool for asking for 70K on a bitcoin forum.  My guess you are just a troll using an alt to have fun seeing how people respond.
I guess the only situation to getting this kind of thing is either the forum restricts newbies from creating a thread in this part of the forum or anyone who opens a thread where a newbie asks for a loan, should just ignore without even uttering anything and by the time we do that, all this might reduce because a newbie knows for sure that he is just trolling and is not anywhere close to receiving any loan.
995  Economy / Goods / Re: Luxury Wristwatch For Sale Worldwide Shipping on: July 08, 2017, 10:34:16 PM
First of all, can you translate your spreadsheet to English?
Second, these watches are all fake including the triple A Luxury watches but the AAA have better mechanism. Correct?
Can you be more specific about them? Do you know any technical details or you just want to sell some watches? Fake of course. Cool

Btw from where do you ship them?
Hello dear friend
1. No problem will work for that.
2. Yes, right.
3. Any details will answer quickly
4. Shipping from Europe.

At the bolded part, you just admitted that what you are selling is fake. I hope you know the implication or maybe you didn't read his  comment very well which necessitated your response  because I don't understand why I will have to spend a lot of money to get the goods in addition to shipping charges only to be shipped a fake wrist watch.
996  Economy / Marketplace / Re: weird site but they give out free bitcoin, ive gotten paid b4. on: July 08, 2017, 09:54:11 PM
btcprominer.life is the site the OP is referring to.  i signed up about 3 weeks ago to test it, have two pending withdrawal requests of 0.005 BTC from 10 days ago and 2 days ago both of which show pending (however they claim this can take upto 30+ days).

Even before opening the thread, I am sure there would be an element of scam in something like this and your post actually confirms it without any doubt. In this era of expensive btc, a site will just be giving btc for free without any from of commitment? I doubt that I am sure its when it get to the point of upgrading that one gets to part away with money while they use that as a means to get more money than they were giving out in the first instance.

998  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we push the actual use of Bitcoin ? on: July 08, 2017, 10:10:08 AM
The issue of forcing people to accept bitcoin is an already in motion issue by default and it will get to a point that they will be the one that will accept without any form of coercion or even a discount as it is. What we all need to do is to just continue believing in it and discourage the illegal use of bitcoin so they don't use that as an excuse, and with that, in due time, things will fall in place even beyond what we could have imaging by forcing our way in.
999  Economy / Economics / Re: Compare Bitcoin to Other Investment Instruments (Stocks, Real Estates, Etc.) on: July 08, 2017, 05:47:52 AM
Hello! Thank you for considering my topic: Compare Bitcoin to Other Investment Instruments (Stocks, Real Estates, Etc.)

What do you think are the main difference/advantage/disadvantage of Bitcoin when you compare it to the most common investment instruments like Stocks, Bonds, Real Estates, etc.

Thank you!
For me, I see bitcoin as an advancement to the stock and bonds simply because those ones are commodity while bitcoin takes a step further by also going towards a medium of exchange which those two listed are clearly lacking. On the issue of real estate, I see that as a more stable investment which volatility is mild if any at all compared to bitcoin whose volatility is sharp as anything you can think of.
