1281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Features Are Still True? on: April 05, 2017, 04:11:35 PM
I saw this post on an advertising site and I think it reflects the Bitcoin we know when it just started. Please tell me which of the features talked by the quote can still be true...here it is:

"Have you ever heard of cryptocurrency? In short, it is a digital currency. At the moment, the most popular cryptocurrency is BitCoin. It is more advantaged than common currencies and bank accounts. BitCoin is not controlled by anybody. It does not have an owner, which means that no one is able to freeze or to take away your capital. You can send money anonymously halfway around the world for free in the blink of an eye. You can use BitCoins to pay for your online shopping, you can withdraw them from a cash machine, you can even buy a car with BitCoins! More and more companies decide to make BitCoins a fully acceptable form of payment. "

As the number one cryptocurrency is evolving fast, it is growing by leaps and bounds and is changing its colors and features along the way.

From the way I see it and based on my own evaluation, I still believe the characteristics still holds still even though there are arguments in other quarters against it especially the anonymity aspect. Also on the free sending aspect, I know there is a controversy concerning that as we have seen several increase in the amount of transaction fees but still comparing that with what will be incurred if to go the way of Fiat, then I will say, its still literally free...
1282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will that be? on: April 05, 2017, 03:20:40 PM
When will be the time to have 80%+ of your all wealth in bitcoin? Will there ever come such a time?
I think bitcoin or any other, but there will definitely come a time when most of a person's wealth be in the form of digital. Do you think bitcoin has the potential to be that digital asset?

Personally, I dont see that time coming any time soon but it could actually be fast tracked for me if the government of my country can legalise bitcoin as a matter of urgency in the sense that no line knows what the government will do couple with the various laws in regulating the financial activities of the country that could put anyone having large amount as crypto might be open to risk...

1284  Economy / Services / Re: Grunteed Primedice Method To Make BTC on: April 05, 2017, 05:46:54 AM
Even prime dice promoters can not tell you for sure the surest way to make money on its site so far its a provably fair site. For crying out loud, its a gambling site and people who give a run for their funds knew what they are getting into before involving in such. Some have win while some have lost. @op why don't youn invest the time it will take you to defend your trick even though only few might believe you into making the money yourself...

1286  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The Criminal Syndicate That Is Bitcasino.io and sportsbet.io on: April 04, 2017, 11:25:45 PM
In as much as I won't support the two called out site, but I will like to emphasis that what have here are just analogy because by default when an individual wants to make a position whether right or wrong, you just take your time to pick dots which might be right or might be wrong which is what I am seeing you doing here. But I and others will appreciate a brief and succinct analysis in the following:

1. This is the particular game

2. This is the response from support

3. This is how I was scammed and with evidence, I am sure you will be heard...
1287  Economy / Services / Re: Cryptotalk.net - get 0.0001 BTC per post on: April 04, 2017, 08:31:08 PM
This site not work.  Huh Why
Maybe they run out of money, maybe it failed to attract anybody else apart from paid posters, there are many possible answers.
It's very difficult to make another forum these days because Bitcoin community isn't very big and bitcointalk + reddit offer plenty space for everyone to fit in.

Thank you for this response, and I believe that exactly what is going on we have seen several forum sprang I up now and then but ended up the same way the problem is actually not building the site but bringing in people and making them stay. Some forum I have visited have been a complete clone of this forum but still they went down. My opinion is that a forum should just not start with enticement but with content which will attract people by default...
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did you started to gamble? What was your beginning like? on: April 04, 2017, 07:22:24 PM
I started gambling from way back where gambling where its basically based on skills and live. No room for cheating but that's purely offline game. Until recently when I took some time to try the online version and it was actually cool because I Dont have to go extra mile in other to give a run for my money in addition to the convenience of making it at the comfort of my room...
1289  Other / Archival / Re: KINGBILLY Casino - No Deposit For New Players - 1BTC WELCOME BONUS on: April 04, 2017, 06:27:26 PM
One unique thing about the internet is that it never forgets no matter how long so far its there, it can be recalled at anytime after reading op address to issue of promoting a defunct site which I believe its just a victim of circumstances as we have seen even campaign managers manage a scam campaign which is not a fault of theirs, then I won't blame him but as a lesson to everyone else to be really sure before putting your name on the line...
1290  Economy / Gambling / Re: WATCH OUT CLOUD BET HAS BETS LISTED ON FRONT NOT STATING WHAT THEY ARE PICTURES on: April 04, 2017, 05:58:21 PM
I think what op is trying to caution against is to being tricked into placing a bet which is not really there to the best of my understanding to what he highlighted. Although that might not be a "scamming" attitude but it could be interpreted to be misrepresentation of the actual situation oif thing which places more vigilance to be extra observant when placing a bet and not be carried away by the impressive odds...
1291  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do i have to pay tax on bitcoins ? on: April 04, 2017, 05:17:34 PM
Over here, there is no tax at all to the best of my knowledge and I will attribute this to the level of development of both our tax systems and financial system to the extent that not even entrepreneurs that earn money offline and keep bank accounts have been able to brought into the tax net since they didnt register any business not to talk of those who are earning money online. Maybe in the next 10 years we could get there but now, I guess every one should just continue to enjoy the tax holiday...
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling sites should ask proofs ? on: April 04, 2017, 04:49:18 PM
if they ask proofs and run in a more legit way then that's actually good for users as less scams would hapen.
All regulated casino must have KYC policy to remain in business and that can be big problem for lots of users from countries where gambling is restricted.

On the other hand casino that are not registered anywhere and only accept bitcoin don't ask any personal documents and protect personal privacy but they can shut down and run away without getting caught.

So if you want to protect your privacy than you have to take risk of getting scammed but if you like to remain in safe hands than it will cost your personal privacy.

And what makes you think the information supplied is correct in the KYC platform from their clients in as much as I subscribe to KYC but it should not be extended to gambling sites if its a trading site, then I agree thats its important at to avoid money laundering but gambling where the reason most people engage in the online version is to avoid being attached to it and what difference will it make if what I am running from in the physical gambling is what is being asked going the online way...
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Grab the Free 50usd BONUS From Planetofbets on: April 04, 2017, 04:32:08 PM
When I see bonus like this, I dont just know why I am always skeptical because one thing I know that is for sure is nothing is actually free. Any way I am still waiting for someone to pick up the offer and he is able to withdraw his winnings after complying with all the list of Terms and Conditions and you were not told you break one, then I can give it a try but until then, I will just pass...
1294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex has raised enough funds to reimburse users from last year hack! on: April 04, 2017, 04:07:31 PM
Bitfinex has announced it has raised enough funds to reimburse all users affected by last year’s hack in a move Erik Voorhees (ShapreShift CEO) called “fucking amazing.”

Bitfinex caused a stir in August 2016 after hackers stole 120,000 Bitcoins, worth at the time around $70 mln.

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitfinex-recapitalization-is-fcking-amazing-voorhees and https://www.bitfinex.com/posts/198

Its not only  Erik Voorhees (ShapreShift CEO)  that will call it “fucking amazing.” even me myself I cant believe it that they actually came out to say we have raised that amount and we are ready to pay all those who lost their funds, I mean thats another level of integrity at its peak which I am sure will not only speak for bitfinex now but also in the future...
1295  Economy / Lending / Re: LOOKING FOR LOAN on: April 04, 2017, 02:41:37 PM
Looking for loan thanks! Wink
i will pay it after i get my job salary.

Amount: 0.01Btc
Repayment amount: 0.02Btc
Repayment date: April 10, 2017
Collateral: This account
Reason for loaning: For personal use

I just  begin to wonder whether people who make loan thread on this section of the forum actually take their time to read some of the earlier threads that has been created for such purpose because if they do, I am sure some people will not even bother to waste their time. Just like Op who has just successfully created a thread for a loan that no one will fill for whatever reason he might have...
1296  Economy / Lending / Re: Requeting Small Quick Loan on: April 04, 2017, 02:08:58 PM

im not selling this account.. First i am asking loan here everytime i needed.. Second nobody fullfill and thats fine.. If i wanted to sell my account im not going to the topic of the forum.. And i think there is nothing wrong asking a quick loan here since this is a lending section.. And last how can anybody earn trust if all lenders think that a simple asking loan is also like selling there accounts? I am a good payer lols who will beleive of no one giving a chance.

It seems you are unable to convince alot of people that you actually need a loan including myself and I doubt if any one who will be able to do his own due diligence will be able to provide the loan simply because of one reason which is your account even of an higher rank as a full member does not even worth what you are asking for which a turn off for any body asking for a loan...
1297  Economy / Economics / Re: It's Time To Get Painfully Honest: Banks Are Evil on: April 04, 2017, 01:53:27 PM
Banks are evil yes based on the analysis enumerated by OP above but they can not be totally bad as they have actually contributed not in a small way to the economic development of any country starting from the total number of workforce they have then to how they have been able to facilitate trades among parties that wouldn't have been possible if they are not there among other ways they have helped..
1298  Economy / Lending / Re: LOOKING FOR LOAN COLLATERAL THIS ACCOUNT on: April 04, 2017, 11:06:51 AM

You know or can you try to imagine, how many ppl post here and promise that they will pay?
a promise is not a collateral...

So, better offer something valuable or lock this topic.

Exactly my point as we have had several reasons why people will ask for loans. I have even read an epistle all because of a pending loan but guess what, it does not hold water so there it cannot be quantified then its not worthy. Same for loan lending, how can you offer as collateral something so worthless of what you intend to borrow better still you can try offer your account for sale to know its actual worth...
1299  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for loan of .026 on: April 04, 2017, 09:40:52 AM
Hello, I am looking for a loan around 30 dollars bitcoin,

Amount to lend: .026
Repay: .03 within 1 week
Collateral?: This account (Or something else if not enough)
Why: Gambling
How repay: Buying bitcoin when I get paid giving it to lender.
Address: 1ADdGWiFdQbfp9yDPFfPFZkQTz9U52kz6T

Its unfortunate that in a matter of hours after posting the request, you already earn yourself a negative trust which has further made your worthless account quantitatively and now worthless qualitatively because no campaign will accept you, no one will want to trade with such account in addition to no one wanting to buy from you... Good luck in dishing the red trust...
1300  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country are you from? Here list THIRTY popular bitcoin countries for trade on: April 04, 2017, 08:38:35 AM
Its surprising to see Nigeria taking the number 14 spot on the list. If the list is credible to be trusted then I am really surprised that despite several reports that the cpoury is known for scammers they could still have a spot over there... Its really surprising...
