1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I had luck in which Alt I should invest now on: May 16, 2017, 07:50:44 PM
Wow, if this is really true then I am happy you made the decision early and you can even reap the benefit of making such decision as at then even when it was really an unpopular one at that. For the future, its really an uncertain event that the past is not a determinant of the future but a careful study and analysis in other not to regret because that fund you have there can really make a difference in the life of some one.

1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: COINDASH - Changing the way you trade - ICO coming soon! on: May 14, 2017, 10:13:33 PM

this project has been awaited for a very long time, i heard a lot about the team joining meetups too so when exactly is the date of the ICO?
i'd be really joining this for sure. will cash out my byteballs just to join here. Smiley

This project is tainted by the same team member from getgemz scam.

I would think an full investigation in relation to getgemz and paykey by this person should be conducted first.

This project does not even seem that remarkable to inspire such shilling and pumping.

I don't think we can compare this to such a thing as byteball really.
This is something I believe op sees and failed to address. I think issues like this should be put to rest considering the level of allegations that is even going on here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1905500.msg18908708#msg18908708 and to those intending that this project is the next big thing, kindly encourage to visit the the thread and read. But OP should just address it once and for all.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALERT***A new SCAM COINDASH from the scammers of GETGEMZ scam project!!!!!! on: May 14, 2017, 08:33:28 PM
Its unfortunate that people have no iota of decency any longer just in the quest of making money without considering the spiral effect their decision will have. Going through the new thread shows that things are going on smoothly and even getting the right attention and comments. With even prospective investors not bothered about doing their own due diligence for whatever reason and even allow the developers to prove themselves.
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can be done to bring these SCAMMERS to justice??? took the BTC and dumped on: May 14, 2017, 06:50:14 PM
This is another nasty scam I noticed. I warned them at the start this needed more protection for investors but I was told I was being crazy.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1545327.3300

These crooks took the 300 BTC - then abandoned their project

Not only that they dumped the huge premine on the holders heads for double whammy and to get more funds??

Strange thing is they let everyone know their true ID and even their addresses.

I mean they are there right on the thread??

What can be done to make bring them to justice.

Surely those effected by this scam will not just let them get away with it?

Its so unfortunate that people like this still exist in this space as they don't even know the implication of their actions having to affect other genuine projects that might be coming out but unfortunately there is nothing that can be done because someone who has the intent of scamming would never even release his genuine address. That's why I always support those who press hard against the promoters of new project and its because of people like this.
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Disappearing coins on poloniex on: May 14, 2017, 12:37:06 PM
Yes, i contacted the supported, but havent heard from the back yet (which is ok, i opened the ticket like ~20hours ago, still fine for me, can imagine they have a lot of tickets atm).

Before it happend, i _did_ had a stop-limit (but with limit 750 satoshi i think, not .. "0"), and stop actually should not have been triggered around that time, plus no trade showing up in my history. In other words: according to trading- and deposit/withdrawl-history, my balance is simply wrong.
When you have done the right of contacting support, the next thing is to wait which you have done then the opening of this thread is not necessary its when they didn't answer you within reasonable time, thats when this will be the last option and there are ways to go bout it. No amount of comments here will solve the situation you are facing rather from their support team which I am sure they will have an explanation for.
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about this ? on: May 14, 2017, 06:26:07 AM
Zrcoin
The world's first commodity-backed blockchain option

I think this Project will be one of many successfull project for this year
because at the 1st 24 hours, The ICO collected more than 1 million dollars,
It use wavesplatform one of the successfull project in last years

https://medium.com/zrcoin/zrcoin-crowdsale-collects-1-344-093-in-first-24-hours-97e93f1134a6

what do you think about this Zrcoin ?
Good for the developers to have pulled it off but what I am surprised is that the project has generated over $1 million dollars and majority of people here are hearing about it for the first time including myself. Its either the promoters decided to promote it outside this forum or what? Aside that, for the fact that a share is oversubscribed does not mean its going to be better off in the long-term. Let's just keep all options open.
1188  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin reach the $4000 mark this year ? on: May 13, 2017, 09:56:37 PM
it's unfortunate that we have to go through BTC when trading on exchanges. It's the only thing really keeping it king of the throne at this point. Personally I'd rather use XEM as my base holding and trade all alts through that, because whether people realize it or not it is the future and is going to go head to head with Ethereum within a year. Can't even do ETH pairing for a lot of the alts so XEM won't be done, and I don't want to use Tether or Monero.
This has been my position and one of the main reason why BTC will be king and anyone predicting any alt taking over from bitcoin will just be wasting his effort in that because as far as we have it till today that crypto currency is yet to be accepted as a means of exchange, the only generally accepted to be converted to Fiat is btc and the value of the others are determined in relation to the price of btc. Whether btc will reach $4000 or even $5000, so many factors will have to work for it's favor and not by mere wishful thinking.
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is going to dump on you at some point on: May 13, 2017, 01:00:31 PM
Everybody who is into the crypto exchange obviously knows its a risk which might pay off or not and the issue of dump or pump is something one cannot control and the moment it happens, most of us just move with the tide after all I am not the only one that will be affected no matter how  unlucky I am. But at the same time when we were making the money during pumps no one complains so it should just work both ways.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Earning stakes in alt-coin sig campaigns? on: May 13, 2017, 08:20:53 AM
Now that you already know what stakes means then you also need to do your own ground work before joining or else you might have worked for something far less of even some times not get paid. The reason for that is because some alt might not have the financial where withthal to pull it off where as some might have envisaged a major break through but the community is not moved by such so at the end of the day, the stake might not even come of might be worthless at the end of the campaign when payment is to be done.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone think this coins tech will work? on: May 13, 2017, 07:01:17 AM
The mostly smart guys you are focusing on can criticise which might discourage you. Instead I would say pitch your talent to group of guys, form a team, reform the plan and come out with something big. Then others will follow. The feeling around here is that every coin coming out is a shit one even though we have seen several still coming out and still breaking the barrier despite the general belief about coins.
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum beat Bitcoin to an ETF? on: May 12, 2017, 07:19:04 PM
To me, even the basis of the argument is faulty by assuming that the non-currency feature of ETH will make it have a leap over bitcoin in the ETF acceptance in which majority of people outside the crypto community does not even know anything about ETH the only currency that rings a bell is bitcoin and the majority that have heard about it are only using it as a medium of exchange. If any cryto will be accepted by ETF that will pave way for others, it will be bitcoin.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BIT.AC :: MULTICURRENCY WALLET :: BUILT-IN INSTANT EXCHANGE :: Affiliate Program on: May 12, 2017, 03:28:10 PM

anyone try this ? is it safe ? also how the network ? is it stable ?

The reason why questions like this is being asked is because not a lot of people really have access to this site. I have read several complains and even me I have experienced it first hand. This site has potentials but its seems to shutting me out. I registered with my mail only for me to wait for confirmation mail to arrive but eventually did not even up to this day.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any Litecoin faucets like Freebitco.in and freedogeco.in on: May 12, 2017, 02:11:19 PM
I was searching for best Litecoin faucets like freebitco.in as i was doing research on altcoins i found litecoin is promising compare to other altcoins if any please let me know

Litecoin could have great potentials based on your analysis but that does not mean everybody else will buy into that dream. LTC is still growing but the majority of those who clamour for its growth are not ready to promote the project in which faucets is a major way. If this can be done with considerable returns, this will indirectly encourage mass new entrants into LTC as this was a determinant for me when I first got aware of bitcoin. When this is done, the potential can now be fully unleashed.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pumping groups, or how to make a lot of cash by a magic trick on: May 12, 2017, 01:56:05 PM
I'd really like to make a lot of cash, better if at the expense of some gullible whale, but how?  Huh  Huh

Idea! let's start a Pumping group! This way a lot of people will buy a ridiculous amount of a penny coin, so its price will skyrocket and, through a meticulously placed number of sell orders, they will buy them from ME!  Cool

But... people will accuse me of making a profit, by arbitrarily choosing a coin I have interests in. What can I do?

Let's see. I need to make the choice of the coin seemingly random, but I need to force a way to control it... That's it! Let us say that the coin will be chosen amongst a group of 16 coins (but let's not disclose the list until a couple minutes before the coin is chosen).

I just need to buy some ridiculous amount of those coins and place sell orders in all of them. Then I just need to resell those that are not chosen "randomly" right after the pump. Even if i lose 5-10% in reselling them, I will have made anywhere between 300% and 1000% from the coin we pumped!

How's that for a magic trick?  Grin Grin

What you suggests could be a way to make profit but its actually a way to cheat the system and because the backlash of such move could ventually affect those who don't know the game works like someone coming into crypto the first time ended up being unfortunate because of your action this could discourage him then we lose another potential soul in the crypto world. Aside that, to pull something like this will mean enough capital where most alt coming out would have pre-mined as much as 1 million units before coming to the space which means to buy a value that will make a difference will not be cheap.
1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [WARNING] Large number of Poloniex members can not withdraw funds. on: May 11, 2017, 09:54:25 PM
One more here...
50+ hours stuck btc withdrawl "Awaiting approval"
FUCK YOU POLONIEX... some people have bills to pay, some people made big investment on this SHIT.
No answer from the support either...
In TROLLBOX all the moderators saying "bla bla bla thank you for your patience".THANK YOU MY ASS!!!  Angry

This is really getting serious and if poloniex is not careful, this might be the beignning of the end of this site. Reputation is the cheapest thing to lose and from the path poloniex is towing, I am afraid this is happening and this is a lesson once again not to keep too much fund with exchanges because they might disapooint and that's exactly poloniex is doing right at this moment.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [PTOY] Patientory Healthcare on the Blockchain on: May 11, 2017, 03:58:16 PM
Its good to see this project coming out on the ETH platform and this is what I am always happy about that development is increasing in that regard. I will appreciate more details as the last poser right noted. Alsoz details of work done so far should be updated as at when due in other to keep the interest generated at an increasing rate
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ASK] Why do people buy altcoin? on: May 11, 2017, 08:46:36 AM
While some people might fail to a dmit it, the fundamental truth is that the reason why we buy altcoins or invest in it as the case maybe is just to make more money if not that, is there anybody who will purchase an alt at a particular price and wish it continues falling without remedy you jump the ship as fast as possible by counting your losses. Nothing else will matter at that point whether in the future or in the past.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buyouts and Mergers in Cryptocurrencies? on: May 11, 2017, 07:10:05 AM
isnt there a way to revive a coin even if devs are not involved? I am interested in knowing how that can happen. Can't a community agree on a new dev and begin a new updated wallet that every node/network uses?

And thats exactly where the issue is. The community cannot agree on a course of action even the obvious one in the case of Segwit or BTU, the result became more divided than before and the reason for that is because the community is so diverse that we can hardly agree on anything and why would I as a developer want to work on another person credit when I can equally create mine and put my name to stand the test of time. Aside that, the community is so occupied that several projects comes in everyday that demands our attention for us to start focusing on one that has been long gone.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 10, 2017, 09:46:27 PM
We got our first video from the Torcoin challenge!

It's not one of the funny posts though

However, we got ourselves a simple tutorial for those not very tech-savy
Thanks Longtonmie

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PQGm2rACFw&feature=youtu.be&hd=1

After this video being posted, I ran a YouTube search on Torcoin
I found a bit of videos, I have no idea what they are  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I think we have a Spanish Mining tutorial Cheesy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwWGvI_Tsl0

Russian Mining tutorial
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMn4pCubeFg

Well, damn
We have a universal one too

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8J_7CV-2JI

This is so cool and thanks for the update. Its an evidence of commitment and hardwork. After reading the thread on the forum concerning the videos, I could not just stop laughing and wondering if it could actually be possible for someone to make a video but alas we have one person who took the bull by the horn. So, even though it might not have met the standard, but I tell you a lot of effort has been put into it and should be commended.
