1301  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2017, 09:26:25 PM
Personally I feel scared to even teach my teenage brother on the way of bitcoin because of the exposure he might get which I am scared could go on and inform his decisions even as simple as claim I faucets is as a way of starters, I am skeptical about his involvement in the majority of scam sites and HYIPs and if that is to my teenage brother, the I dont think kids should be brought in to the picture at all...

I suggest to OP that for this service to survive long-term then serious and massive publicity because aside local bitcoin, we have other reputable sites that are offering the same service in the market...
1303  Economy / Economics / Re: Gibraltar War on: April 03, 2017, 07:57:28 PM
Theresa May would be prepared to go to war to protect Gibraltar as Margaret Thatcher once did for the Falklands.War between Great Britain and EU countries for some rock on the sea,if that will happen than all kind of friendly relation between GB and EU will be destroyed, financial tornado becouse of London Citi, all financial institution will have leave Citi to make business in EU,normally btc price will sky rocket.even that kind of official comments from top GB politician is pure madness.Lets see markets in monday

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/apr/02/britain-and-eu-worse-off-without-brexit-deal-says-michael-fallon

War would be the last thing on any sane leaders mind simply because it will take both the country that is weak and the strong ones centuries backwards towards development which is the objective of any leader that emerge in the 21st century the highest we will witness is to see various sanctions and stoppage of economic supports in addition to dialogue but not war for whatever reason...
1304  Economy / Economics / Re: How a cashless society could kill Bitcoin. on: April 03, 2017, 07:01:20 PM
Over here, a new cashless policy has just being implemented where it becomes more expensive to hold cash but after a careful study of this, I dont see its effect on bitcoin simply because most of the trades concerning buying and selling or bitcoin still revolves around a cashless society where you dont collect raw cash rather bank transfer and same thing the cashless policy is proposing to the society...
1305  Economy / Economics / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto should be richer than Bill Gates. on: April 03, 2017, 06:51:17 PM
Is it the same Bill Gates we all know or another one? Because of its that same Bill Gates, then I doubt if Satoshi can be as rich as him. The reason for my position is from what I have read its reported that Satoshi kept as much as 1 million btc for himself and converting at 1000$, then we have 1billion dollars which is still a bit far from where the quoted wealth of Bill Gates stands...

1307  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What would you do if you were in charge of your country? on: April 01, 2017, 08:20:27 AM
The bane of the society is just this issue of corruption that has in no small way dealt with my country. What I will do when I hold the leadership of the country is not only about arresting people all over that they are corrupt where it could be interpreted as clamp down, I will just find a decisive way to look for how to block the source of excess money when the money is no longer there, then it won't be available to embezzle...
1308  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think to the president of the Philippines? on: April 01, 2017, 08:05:39 AM
The president is someone who has a goal in mind and ready to achieve it but the way he is going about it is where the issue is as you dont expect something that has been fundamentally wrong to be eradicated within six months, it will bring unnessary aggression which might even frustrate the fight in the first place because a lot of innocent people will now be caught in the cross fire which might start attracting attention in some quarters that is being witnessed now...
1309  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is real freedom in your view? Are you getting it? on: April 01, 2017, 03:42:31 AM
Real freedom to me is the ability to lead my life in the most decent manner, make money in a legitimate way, comment on national issues, and right to my private life without any undue interference from any one to curtail such and to the best of my knowledge, I think I am getting it and will continue getting it so far I am still operating within the confines of law...
1310  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Experiences in Mining on: April 01, 2017, 03:15:26 AM
For the path you have taken which is the free mining part, I am sure something tangible will not come out of itat least in the sshort-term because free GHs will be the same as faucets where it will take forever to get a stack of it which is your motive here. At the same time, if you are going into mining you really need to understand and do your research in the one you are willing to join so you won't be frustrated in achieving that your objective...
1311  Economy / Services / Re: Will leave positive feedback on eBay for 0.02btc on: April 01, 2017, 03:01:40 AM
Even if possible you should not be given a space on this forum because it means you are part of those who want to drag the name of eBay and reputation to the ground just for a cent something that has been built for several years and the implication it will have on those people that will trust the feedback you are giving to deal with unscrupulous individuals on that platform...
1312  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump's Job Approval Rating on: March 31, 2017, 08:55:45 PM
In as much as I dont fancy Trump, but I dont think its still the right time to jugde how good or how bad he has done. Creating jobs means doing work long term and he has barely stayed in office for 4 months then the judging starts coming couple with a lot of people dont like him and they could be the one engaging in the polls just to give him the bad rating...
1313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So what if Nigeria seriously starts getting involved in the crypto? on: March 31, 2017, 07:19:12 PM
Although, some Nigerians are known to be expert in fraudulent activities but not all of them are scams as there are still some that are true to their word when it comes to financial relationship and because in all climes of the society, there is people engaging in criminal activities. One thing Nigeria has is population and because the financial system is not fully advanced as other countries in the West, it makes bitcoin thrives as there are several exchange sites doing their thing without interference...
1314  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Im new into mining. Wanna try out cloud mining - hashflare.io , Any thoughts? on: March 31, 2017, 05:28:50 PM
In 2017 and with the series of information online, as well as several threads and testimonies even on this forum, I can't believe someone somewhere will still be considering investing in cloud mining irrespective of names where it is a known fact that those ones that are legit, it might take forever to start considering seeing any return on investment...
1315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: March 31, 2017, 04:05:48 PM
What will happened if every country started to use bitcoin. Is the current supply of bitcoin and blockchain capacity can handle every bitcoin user?

Thanks in advance.

Then it will mean all the challenges against bitcoin would have been one without any form of reservation in addition to the freedom it will proffers to our new way of life which is something white a number of us will be glad its eventually happening and I won't have to be be worried about the bottlenecks in exchanging my bitcoin into fiat in other to spend even the lowest amount...
1316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Georgia Becomes First Country to Register Property on Blockchain on: March 31, 2017, 12:53:29 PM
From my twitter feed:

Georgia Becomes First Country to Register Property on Blockchain

On Tuesday, in Tbilisi, the government of Georgia signed an agreement to use the Bitcoin Blockchain to verify property transactions.

Last April, the Georgian government and Bitcoin company BitFury initiated a project to record land titles on the Blockchain.

This is the first time a national government is using the Blockchain to safeguard and authenticate state operations, therefore ushering in a belief in the technology that has wrongfully been painted black.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/georgia-becomes-first-country-to-register-property-on-blockchain

That's a good move and very encouraging one at that but the issue here is the adoption of the block chain technology which I am sure banks and other financial institutions are equally considering adoption but my fear is for them not to eat the food and then abandon the pot in the sense that after they have used the technology, they then find a reason to dump bitcoin or even work against its recognition by government...
1317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need help from Indian bitcoiners: Sign the petition to announce bitcoin as legal on: March 31, 2017, 12:14:14 PM
Announce bitcoins and cryptocurrencies as legal

Recently, there have been a few media reports that bitcoin has been declared illegal by the Indian government.

Bitcoin is not illegal as per existing laws. As per media reports, a parliamentary committee is setup to look into the future legality of bitcoi.  and cryptocurrencies.

Please sign and share this IMPORTANT petition and make your voice heard. We will collect your signatures and present before the standing committee.

Together, let's make India a global fintech hub.

Click here to sign the petition

Its a good move in the right direction only if we have a listening government all over the world but where there would be issue is if the number of people that will sign the petition will really be enough to move the hands of government. Either way, when it comes to goverrnment, any fact finding committee will still come back with recommendations which most times its always negative because of the control government will not be able to  have...
1318  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Could cryptocurrency holders be attacked by IRS? on: March 31, 2017, 11:48:26 AM
I am wondering. Could laws change and eventually the IRS and whatever agency combined might go anregulatedhe blockchains and try to tax the shit out of everybody they presume to be holding cryptocurrency?

Privacy based coins that actually work would be safe but what about BTC its self without the use of those mixing services, current ETH, and XEM for example that has no intentions for privacy at all?

The answer to that will be a perfect yes because as a government revenue genenating agency their motive is to get whatever to the maximum from you if you allow them and if bitcoin is regulated and laws enacted for that purpose, I am sure they will come after any individual generating income from that end...
1319  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What makes a blockchain transaction legally enforceable? on: March 30, 2017, 09:37:49 PM
This is something the legality of bitcoin will have to take care of after we have a law that recognises it as a legal tender and therefore that will come with several disadvantages as the community might not like. And until then, there is no enforceability whatsoever that can happen at the moment for us. Just try as much as possible to stay safe...
1320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is decentralised, so who defends it from hackers? on: March 30, 2017, 08:34:34 PM
Even though I understand little about the technical infrastructure behind bitcoin, but this question has also been a source of concern for me but because of the notion that I have that its OK not to know everything and not to have all the answers, I just wait till when the answer will come and I am happy its flowing gradually in quenching my curiosity about the subject matter...
