381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teofimo Lopez Vs. Jamaine Ortiz WBO Welterweight Title February 8 on: December 20, 2023, 09:44:30 PM
Lopez may be a favorite in this fight but Ortiz can deliver a huge upset if Lopez comes out easy in this fight like he did against Sandor Martin, Ortiz has matured after his fight against Loma.
Lopez has a history of undermining his opponents he has done this two times already against Kambosos and then against Sandor and Ortiz is a better fighter than Sandor if we are talking about fight comparison with Lomachenko.
Lopez when he fought Loma, Loma had a shoulder injury, while Ortiz when he fought Loma was 100% in perfect condition, so the comparison will not add up.

Ortiz gave Loma a problem, because of his height and probably that Ortiz is really big, but fortunately, Loma was able to overcome him. I think Lopez shouldn't underestimate Ortiz, he has the power and if he caught Lopez by chance, then he could pull a upset.

But barring those, I think Lopez can win in a hard fight, maybe this fight will go to distance and going into the judges scorecard.

And if there are close rounds, we all know that judges usually gave it to the champions so maybe UD for Lopez but very close in the cards, maybe 8-4 rounds at least for Lopez.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 20, 2023, 01:00:32 AM
Tapales versus Inuoe fight for me will be in favor of the Japanese guy because of his phylosophical way of boxing and also his knocking power. Inoue is fast and accurate while Tapales is a power puncher and is slower compared to the Japanese. Though Tapales is for me has higher edge of fighting Inuoe than Casimero which is slower and his moves were predictable for Inuoe. But yeah they've preparing this for months to win the fight so I think let us just wait and see who will be victorious.

We may have our own prediction in this game but we cannot deny the fact that Inoue is really favored to win.

As per my book, he is currently at 1.07 which obviously tells this could be an easy fight for him. Honestly, I haven't see an odds as low as that in a unification fight. I mean, both are champs and are holding 2 belts, 1.07 is quite a disrespect to what Tapales has already achieve, so hopefully he knows this and will be inspired by this.

Yeah, this is champion vs champion, Tapales has also 2 belts under his waist, so why bookies is putting him a huge underdog against Inoue? Perhaps the answer lies on how Inoue is destroying his opponents in his last couple of fights. Fulton was supposedly a tougher fight for him, but he just simply outclassed the champion and knock him down and get his belt.

Now, it's the Filipino chance, but many are doubting that he can pull that upset including sport bookies. He is training very hard for this fight and hopefully it will be close and not as dominant win by the Monster or not steamrolled his way to victory against Tapales.

it is maybe because inoue's name rings a bell more than tapales. he's more popular as well. also, inoue has a lot more belts than tapales. actually, if you are rooting for tapales, as being a heavy underdog. this is good, right? for the bettors who want to place a bet on him.

If we are talking about belts at super bantamweight, the weight class that they are fighting, but have 2 belts. But if we talk about the totally, obviously, Inoue has more has he unified the belt as bantamweight .

because it is not worth putting your money on inoue with 1.07 odds. otherwise, look for other betting lines like which round it will end, the method, over/under and others.

upset can happen if the underdog really prepared for the fight and consider all angles that he can think he has advantage of. but we can understand if bookies will give the cards to inoue here.

Yes, as gamblers, 1.07 has no value at all, in terms of ML, we should be looking at other betting line, maybe per round will be good but the risk is high. But this is what we are after all, all that juicy odds that we can get that is so appealing and we think that it's a good chance to happen then we will go for it. But not the ML, who knows, if there is an upset here and someone bet big on that, for sure they will have regrets later.
383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it Hold? BTC Targets $40,000 on: December 19, 2023, 11:57:26 PM
I don't know if it's advisable for someone to come with the agenda of buying more bitcoin this time around because I know quite well that bitcoin increase as it has reached up forty two thousand now either it will start depreciating in value again, I know quite well that bitcoin price is not something that we can say that the price will remain constant or the price will be fluctuating, it may reach tomorrow the price of bitcoin drops so its nice to understand that bitcoin price have to do without trust

If you have financial means and strong belief on btc market, you will continue to buy at your own accord.
Because you can't tell others not to because the price is more than 40k or it is being stagnant at this level.
There will always be buyers particularly those who are eyeing that btc will go up more than 50k in the days to come.
And also, the volatility factor of this market is a very good chance of gaining small profits even at a short period of time.

I think as investors, we should be affected if the price is going sideways at $40k. I mean at the start of the year, or let's go back last year the lowest price we had is $15,500. So this year alone it's a big jump and everyone should be making money at least if you have invested November 2022.

And so far as per the question of the OP, $40k is holding strong, although there is a correction last week and early this week, we have bounce back already. So that is a bullish indication that the price is not going down this month and we can all speculation that the price could be around $45k-$50k at the end of the year. And then ending this year with a big positive note.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 19, 2023, 07:57:41 PM
Many here are talking about the Warriors and other teams, but no one is talking about how the Clippers are playing right now.
Why is that?

Maybe because they were ineffective in the playoffs from the last couple of years. Now that they Harden, I think some NBA fans doesn't want Harden to get his first ring, so I think that would be one of the reasons why it has not been one of the most talked about team this season. Nevertheless, they are starting to gel up already and it seems like James Harden has already found his groove and enjoying his stay in Clippers as well as his teammates. If they continue this kind of level of play, I'm pretty sure they'll be tough to beat in the playoffs.
Can't wait for the playoffs though lol.

Yeah, probably Harden's looks the villain here and although they are on the winning streak, there could be NBA fans wishing them doom,  Grin.

As for the Lakers, it's their inconsistency again as they've lost to the Knicks.

For the Warriors vs Celtics, the line started at -4.5 if I'm not mistaken but already move to -5.5. It just shows how Boston right now, they are leading the league and the Warriors doesn't have Draymond.

Speaking of Green, he will be out for 3 weeks: https://www.si.com/nba/2023/12/18/draymond-green-warriors-three-weeks-indefinite-suspension-return
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 19, 2023, 02:16:54 PM
Anyone get trap on the Philly's lost to the Bulls? I didn't expect that Joel will be absent on that game, and so it was a big upset and Philly's lost their winning streak as they mostly covered the double digit handicap they have in the last 3 games.

Dallas also lost by a big margin against the Nuggets. I thought that the Mavs will fare good in this game, but it's the same game for them. It was only Luka and the support cast is not there to provide anything. Only Luka and Exum scored double digits for Dallas.

Edit: @Russlenat - thanks, because when I try to watch the game for a brief moment, the announcer said that Joel Embiid is absent, and I thought that he didn't play. Now I realized that he did play but the announcer might have been just referring to that quarter around, (if I'm not mistaken, it was the second quarter). So I didn't continue to watch that game as I have misunderstood it and knows that my bet will take a L without Joel.
386  Economy / Speculation / Re: So I guess we sell at $48626 ? on: December 17, 2023, 05:55:43 AM
Quote from: mich
Well I think this is when we need to make some important decisions for ourself. The price of Bitcoin is up 150% just in this year so there is profits to take from that.
So if we are thinking about taking some profits it is a good time to sell some. I think there is going to be a correction when ETF approval does happen.
And then also for the Bitcoin halving next year.  I am 'bullish' and will not be selling any of my Bitcoin. But I do think there is many investors who will. It is a hard thing to not take 'free money'.
Many hodlers has taken profits from their BTC investment when the price hit above $40k few weeks ago and, some are waiting for the price to return back to $69k before they can sell to take their own profits but it will be difficult for the price to return back to $69k in this month of december. But those that will hodl till next year 2024 which is the target of many hodlers to make a huge amount of profits from BTC investment because, the price of BTC will surely reach $100k before the end of next year december.

Around $45k should be the profit taking, and although the OP posted $48k, I think it has been invalidated already or we might not find that price along the end of the year as we have minor dump to $40k'ish and then just go up a bit to $41k-$42k and nowhere near $48k levels.

Those that want to experience $100k will not sell their BTC like the decision you took not to sell now in this bear run because it will not help you to make pretty money from your investment but if you hodl till $2025, you will surely get it right to make big money from your investment.

Or to put it into perspective, those who are looking to maximized their profits are not going to sell at $48k. The name of the game is going long here, so we might have to be mentally tough to stop on the game and wait till we hit 6 digits and then sell when we are about to break or reach new all time high, it could be around the last quarter of 2025.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 17, 2023, 04:13:46 AM
I'll be interested as well to see Akhmadaliev in the ring again after that upset win by Tapales. He said in this interview that he is coming to get his belt back and his fight with Kevin Gonzalez is for the WBA title eliminator.

Seems though that he has mentally recovered from his lost and so this is going to be a good fight.

Although the criticism about him is that he should be changing coach after that lost to Tapales.

But let's see, I do hope that he is still has the fire inside of him to claim that belt back and then fight the Monster next.
I am interested to see this too later.
Akhmadaliev might not even get that chance to take it from Tapales. My first scenario is if Inoue wins he will climb the ladder one more time just like what he did in the Bantamweight division. There's no need to defend all four titles, he got what he wanted and then he will leave them.
Second scenario, rumors say that Inoue will stay in the Super Bantamweight for some time so Akhmadaliev might also get a chance to battle the Monster. He must first see how Inoue will perform because it will definitely change his strategy if that happens.
Third scenario, Tapales wins and because he is holding all four belts, he could just deny Akhmadaliev, I mean he can pick his own fight and defend it against another boxer from another organization first. That's possible, right?

But, it's better if Akhmadaliev can stay at the high ranks so those belts are within his reach. He will have his chance again, there's no doubt about that. If he shows a dominating fight then he will probably be the next in line.

And just like that, Akhmadaliev is back in action now in the division as he battered previously unbeaten Kevin Gonzalez en route to an 8th round stoppage. He scored two knockdowns, in round 6 and 8. So masterfully, he destroyed Kevin in his fight and didn't allow Gonzalez to somewhat make a comeback, and when that, this fight is for the mandatory belt or this fight is a title eliminator of the WBA belt held by Tapales.

And so if by chance Inoue wins and annexed that 2 belts from Tapales, then we might see Inoue vs Akhmadaliev next (or whoever wins the fight). So for now, good win by Akhmadaliev and he should relax and just wait for the outcome of the December 26 fight.

@Belarge - you are wrong, we could create our speculations base on the fighters last fight, tell me what "tougher ways to comprehend a fight"? If you are saying that you can came up with comprehension, then that is already speculation or analysis on your end and everyone is free to do that.

Just like when odd makers speculated that he will beat Marlon Tapales as he is a huge favorite, but it turns out to be that they are wrong and majority of us here as we thought too that Akhmadaliev will win.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? on: December 16, 2023, 10:52:33 PM
Let's start with the simple choice: Do you consider yourself to have a gambling problem affecting your happiness, security, relationships, finances, etc? (Yes or No)
Now, here is something a bit different: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? Either you make enough income to call it "adult play", so you do not have real problems, and/or you simply stop for a long time. Then - months or years later - it gets worse again and you are in trouble.

(First question was above)
(Second question) Either way, when it's time to stop, how exactly do you do it? (For example) Change other habits, go new places, exercise more, stop drinking, simply "swear off" gambling... How exactly do you stop? Thank you.

For me, my gambling addiction is up and down, meaning I could go on for months playing and losing big money, just like my run from July to October. But now I'm more calm, not playing online as much as I do before and not visiting those offline casinos in my place.

I don't know, maybe I just realized that I'm losing too much money in gambling, simply as that. And that I need to control myself specially that at the time that I minimized, that the Christmas holiday is coming and that I want to have money during this time.

And I try to stay away from gambling by learning new things, like video editing.  Smiley

So in the last couple of months, as I have said, I have reduced my betting and playing slot games and roulette.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Share your opinion on the market. on: December 16, 2023, 09:11:39 PM
It seems to me that before the halving the bitcoin price may fall again. Now the market situation is a bit like 2017, when everyone was also waiting for bitcoin etf, after which the dump happened. Maybe that time the price is also rising because of etf expectations.
Speculation about market conditions that will experience a decline is predicted to occur again. Possibility after possibility in the price of Bitcoin can still occur. However, what you need to think about is how much correction will occur while waiting for the ETF to be approved.
If the current price of Bitcoin is still at the price level of $42,387 and is able to stay at $40k until the end of December, then in January 2024 we will find new speculators regarding the potential price of Bitcoin.

It's either we go down to $40k or to as high as $50k. I think that's what speculators are seeing in this market right now. Although end of November and early December we have a huge run, nearly going to $45k and it's been a long time since we see this price.

However, this week we have a minor correction, we did go down to $40k, but bounce back very quickly around $41k-$42k. Maybe we will see a sideways till the end of the year or just go back to what we want the price to see at the end, $45k.

But if we look at the market, it's obvious that we are in a bullish sentiments and investors do love to see that kind of mentally.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 16, 2023, 08:52:45 PM
Unless there's a strong power behind that will be sided to green's favor, I guess there's changes with this suspension I mean that indefinite might be change to a lighter conviction and we will see him play in an earlier time frame.

We don't know what can happen as Green's attitude is no longer good especially there are many young fans that are watching, they might think
that it's okay to play and idolize the way Green showcasing his stuff.
His attitude will not change.

What we've seen from him, won't change instantly and he's just being him. That's why I doubt it that he'd come up with a change for his attitude because he's not even showing remorse as if it's a natural action from him when he's guarding Nurkic and the others that he'd done physically.

Yes, basketball is a physical game but not intentionally done to the opposing side.
That's the issue, he has been suspended before, this dude has a "dirty draymond green highlights" video, and not like it's just a few stuff, it's all seasons throughout and plenty of videos, from 10 years ago until now and he still does it. It means that he doesn't learn from anything, he doesn't get better, he has been doing this since he got to the league and he has been suspended before and he will keep doing it.

Many years ago people thought he was a tough defender that did very well, even defended centres very well with his lack of size, now everyone can see that he did dirty moves to manage that and put fear into other players. I think he should be waived and let go from the league all together but we all know he will not and that's the biggest issue.

Yes, he has been doing this for years now, suspended and the be back in the league. But this season, it's a very different Green and we can see that he is more aggressive toward other players and that is really dangerous to the league and players itself. It's like every night, he will do it, to hurt someone intentionally.

To be fair though, he was a good defender, because he has high IQ, knows how to get into someone's head. But it's totally different now when Green is old and can't catch up unlike before that's why he resorted to this so style of his basketball that initially looks like he didn't do it intentionally, but the reply shows otherwise.

So after the back-and-forth exchange of words on X between Devin Haney and Tank Davis which they deleted already, Eddie Hearn tried to make his move by wanting to discuss the possible big fight. Tank posted it earlier thinking he was making fun of Matchroom and Devin Haney. He then deleted it, he was probably advised later on that his tweet means he is ducking again by being unwilling to talk to Eddie who is Haney's promoter.

Good fights coming up this weekend. The best events are from Matchroom and PBC.

On DAZN, an IBF-WBO unification duel between both undefeated champions Bam Rodriguez and Sunny Edwards. The main undercard will be a WBA eliminator where former unified champion Morudjon Akhmadaliev tries to win for a chance to become the mandatory of the Inoue-Tapales undisputed fight later this month.

392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 16, 2023, 02:25:56 PM
Marlon Tapales has experience fighting Japanese boxers to win the WBO bantamweight title from Japanese boxer Shohei Omori in 2017.
But naoya inoue is not a bad boxer he is a great boxer monster ko with a fighting record of 25 wins with 22 of them won by ko without ever losing.
I think naoya inoue will win this match.
And this match is played in Japan home base or inoue's home country which of course will be supported by his supporters who come a lot at the match venue.

Not a good reference to consider if you are looking for any advantage for Tapales. Even he fought several Japanese boxers before, we are talking about Naoya Inoue here and we should know why he was even called a Monster in every division he reign. He's really on the other level.

Not even showing any signs of being bulky despite weight increase. That's how disciplined Naoya Inoue is.

And let's face it, even this match will happened in the Philippines, there's really no way how Tapales can match Inoue technically. By almost all aspect, Inoue is dominating in every thing. Sad to say that I don't see how Tapales will win here. But if ever he upset Inoue here, this will be the Fight of The Year, I'm sure about that.

Of course, we can't compare the style of Naoya to any Japanese fighters that Tapales has fought. He is very different obviously and above the current breed of Japanese fighters and could make a history for them, becoming a 2 division unified champion.

As for his body, yeah, that's why we said or even himself that he can still go up to 1-2 division more because his body can mature in the future and then can't make the 122 lbs anymore. But going to be tougher to go 126 and higher.

Although there are talks of a super fight between him and Tank Davis.
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see repeat of 2017 or new trend? on: December 15, 2023, 09:09:33 PM
I hope people remember what happened in December 2017 as last quarter of 2017 we witnessed bull run and during second half of December we saw price of Bitcoin dropping down and eventually triggered bearish market for next 3 years approximately and we are going through similar stuff but this is not a full fledged bull run but still we have seen crazy pumps for some Altcoin and even Bitcoin has increased. Are we going to witness price correction or bear market now ? Or else this time it's gonna be different and Bitcoin will reach new ATH and we won't see any bearish pattern in December ?

What happened in 2017 will not happen again in 2024 because they are different times. What will happen in 2024 halving and bull run, there is a high chance that it can be better or it can be even worse. So that seems vague, in my opinion.

All the patterns seen by expert traders in the field of cryptocurrency are just speculations; they only become true when the majority believes them and they happen at the right time. And that's how it always happens, right?

Yes as far as the market conditions and the events lined up it looks like this December will be bit different than what we witnessed during December 2017 and actually it's a good sign that we have seen so much of price movement even before the bull run which has triggered more investments which will act as shield even if we have couple of minor price corrections before the bull run. But as you mentioned towards the end of your response that we cannot merely go by expert opinions as they are just speculations and some low cap coins does swindles based on their predictions because of the followers cashing in, now majority of us are awaiting for two events one is Spot ETF & other one being Halving.

It's going to be very different every bull run though, December 2017 height was most likely trigger by the CBoE and CME if I'm not mistaken. 2021 there's no trigger point except that we are in the pandemic that time and everyone is investing or putting their money on bitcoin as a hedge and there a prediction modelling, the S2F that says we will hit $100k but it didn't happen but still the market remain bullish up to $69k.

So in 2024-2025, there could be a different form of trigger, perhaps it could be the Bitcoin spot ETF approval. Maybe we will not get one approval, but a series of them who have application in the review process already and that they are all waiting for the SEC.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: December 15, 2023, 08:41:53 PM
Surprisingly this topic is dead. Previously Jake fights heated up a lot of discussion. This time imho Jake has failed with choosing an opponent. Not because Andre August is good, but because his media is nothing. Nobody knows who Andre August is, while Jake whole boxing career is build on PPV sales. How much it usually cost to watch Jake Paul fight live ? 30-50 bucks ? This time this fight is on 9,99/month subscription Cheesy

Well they have the weigh-in already, and surprisingly, Jake Paul weight almost 200-lbs for this fight. And so this is a career high for him, he used to weight around 170k'ish in the beginning and in the last fight he was 185-lbs.

Is he targeting the HW division now since it's one of the hottest when Ngannou entered the pro ranks?

But I do agree that his opponent Andre August is not very known in the boxing circles that's why there are no hype and this will really hurt Jake Paul fighting bums and August is just here to show up and get paid by Jake.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 15, 2023, 08:23:39 PM
Finally the NBA made the right decision for Draymond Green.

Draymond Green’s suspension is good for everyone

Quote
It was fairly shocking on Wednesday night, when the NBA announced an indefinite suspension for Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green. I had anticipated a fine and probably a one-game suspension after Green struck Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkić in the face on Tuesday, resulting in a Flagrant 2 foul and an ejection in a game the Dubs would lose by three points.

He's on indefinite suspension and it's not certain when he'll come back, but most likely it will a long period of time.
Now, the Warriors will defenitely struggle on their defense without him as they were playing a small ball when Draymond is a significant player for their success, without him, their playoffs hope might be done this season.
This was long time for coming, Draymond deserved this long long time ago, and he lost a whole ring because of this and yet he still didn't learn from it. We all know that Cavs managed to make that comeback because Draymond was fined that game and couldn't play, his suspension for was just one game but that game was the finals game so it was a huge deal, and he kept on playing dirty after that too.

The problem is not that he did something bad, that's of course not nice and requires a lot of self reflection but the main problem is that he always finds and excuse, and I am 100% guaranteed that he is not lying, he thinks he did nothing wrong. This time it was "I just wanted to sell the call" and we all know his kicking of the nether region was "shooting motion" and so forth. He needs to be banned for a long time, lose his contract, sponsors, and just be vet min journeyman career from here on out.

Yes, that is the thing with Draymond though, he always find excuses, as if he is above the law and cannot be touch by the NBA. But no, he is just another player, there was no "shooting motion" and I think the did it with bad intentions to hit Nurkic and anyone in the past.

20 games suspension or more would be enough though for me. However, if he did it again and again, then maybe a long suspension or a ban is merited because this is not a NA player should behave inside the court. Yes, they are competitive, but to hurt someone like you are in the street? I think the Warrior is done for this season already (sorry WArriors fans), because of this drama created by Draymond Green and I wouldn't be surprised if their big 3 will be disbanded and only Steph remains with the Warriors.
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers trickily claims they wins the bet while they never did. on: December 15, 2023, 01:53:04 PM
Don't be deceived, not every gamblers who actually claims that they won really won.
Some falsefully speculates that they won just because they want to pave an ease to those who has been advising them to quit or limits gambling simply because the gambler has been unlucky to win instead he keep betting over and over without a good bankroll management in their gambling carriers.
They basically do this because they feels disturbed and inconveniences of the people's opinions and advices towards the gamblers unprofitable gambling experiences

Or there are gamblers who's going to show you their big wins, but will hide how much money they have lost initially and if you are going to compute for everything, they still in the negative as far as their gambling is.

I just had someone, a friend of mine, who I used to go to casinos last month, show me this morning his huge wins. But unexpectedly, he said that the lost this big amount already that's why he is so desperate that he deposit another big amount and then bet huge on a slot machine. Fortunately, he hit a bonus run and the game give him a huge bonus run. But obviously, I will not hear anything from him if he losses again.  Smiley
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN BULLISH PENNANT. on: December 14, 2023, 09:14:09 PM
^^ And just like that, bitcoin broke $40k and then goes up to as high as $45k if I'm not mistaken. So yeah, it did shows a bullish pennant that week when the OP posted his prediction/speculation. But I guess this has been invalidated already as we have reach that price.

Although if we will continue, there are some minor corrections going to $40k-$41k after that huge push.

Now, $40k is the support line again, as after that correction, bullish momentum still persists in this market as we are now in the $43k'ish.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 14, 2023, 08:54:47 PM
Wemby is getting way too much pressure on what he is doing, he is not causing the team to lose, he is all alone as a single 18-19 year old kid can't do anything, he needs other players to help him as well. Dude is a centre, he is 7'5 and can dribble like a guard, shoot threes and blocks like it's nobodies business and we are going to see him as the responsible person for this losing streak?

I think by now we should know that he can't carry Spurs, he is still a rookie and the last one if we are going back in NBA history that a rookie carry his team is Lebron James, enough said. He had a good mentor though in coach Spo, who is also known to make good players become great one. So give Wemby some time to develop and not be pressured this season.

I mean sure it looks terrible on a resume, and yes Chet is doing so well when you consider those two are compared, but the reality is that if you trade Chet and Wemby, then you would still see OKC doing awesome and Spurs doing terrible, there is really no reason we consider that Wemby is the main reason why they are going to end up losing.

Chet is on a different team, players like SGA is their franchise player, so there's no pressure on him. He just have to show every game his best performance and he is being magnified every game to the point that he is not the leading candidate for the Rookie of the year as per odds.

If Inoue couldn't hurt Tapales early in the fight then that slim possibility to KO Inoue might come to fruition when the Monster is already tired in the championship rounds hehe.

Unfortunately, all the fighters Inoue fought were hurt by his power punches I have not seen a fighter whom he did not hurt that is why he has the title the Monster because he can hurt anyone, the closest fight he had gone was the first match against Donaire, but every fighter has their weakness and its on Tapales team to see Inoue's weakness and try to exploit it.

Correct, the Donaire vs Inoue I was the last time we have seen the Monster in a not so good position. Nonito even broke Naoya's orbital bone that time and he was close to beating him. However, Donaire lost because he has no stamina to finished the fight and Inoue's youth takes over. And what's scary is that after this fight, Inoue improved by leaps and bounds and then started to just breaking down every fighter he fought, including Nonito in their rematch.

I will be happy if Tapales can survive the whole fight and even if he loses by decision he has something to be proud of because Inoue always comes to knock out his opponents and he always goes all out just to achieve that.
But I will be very excited and happy if he wins although it's a tall task there is such a thing as a lucky punch, the one that brought down Tyson in his fight against Douglas.

To some extend, surviving against Inoue would be consider as a win for Tapales and be proud that he is not one of those victims of Inoue again. But we will see if Tapales is really motivated not just ot survived but also win also the chance is very slim.

The good thing about Mark Magsayo is that he is under MP Promotions which takes good care of his career. Though not yet on the top 5 of each sanctioning bodies but somehow he will be there in a few fights due to the connections of Sean Gibbons. I do agree that he still needs a tune-up fight before fighting for a belt even though he was amazing in his last fight.

He won unforgettably and he finished his opponent with a deadly move that ended the fight. Looks like he is ready for another high-level opponent that could test his pro boxing skills or maybe a chance for a championship bout. Nevertheless, his next opponent is surely not gonna rush to fight him without any proper training. That knockout is a message for his next opponent that they are in need of new skills to counter that technique in order to win against Magsayo.

That was definitely a huge knockout. His opponent absolutely went night night. And you are absolutely right about it being a very deadly move.

Yes, it was really night night for Avelar, it's even worthy for a ko of the year. But it's bad to see a boxer going out in the ring in a stretcher.

Anyway, if we talk about his next fight, I think it is definitely going to be someone who is of the top level. And it is also true that he is not going to be fighting Mark on short notice or something like that. I think it is at least going to be one year after the fight gets announced. Or the contract is signed or whatever they do it is.

One year is too long  to look for a potential opponent. Maybe right now they are already looking at the list as to who is the best opponent for him. There are some good names in this division and then perhaps some that he can fight as a stepping stone. It's up to MP on how they are going to guide Mark career in this division, as for sure they want him to be a champion, but it could take careful matchmaking.
