401  Economy / Gambling / Re: WINZ.IO — WIN $5,000 IN WHEEL OF WINZ ✅ NEW WINZUP LOYALTY: 35% IN REWARDS 🔼 on: April 04, 2024, 09:01:04 PM
Hey Winz, I think you have a great smooth website and good customer service, but why have your NBA odds become so shitty since about a week?

You used to offer 1,89/1,89 margins and now they have become 1,80/1,80 making you look severely worse than your competition. For example Wild.io has the same odds provider (and same layout) but they still offer 1,89/1,89 so that means every odd automatically has 10% better odds than you on the same selection. Is this temporary or lasting? Because this will only lead to your customers running away I can assure you. 1,80/1,80 on the biggest basketball league in the world is just unfair to your basketball loving customers.

The odds for sporting events depend on many factors, including risk factors and the volume of bets on a particular outcome. Therefore, odds may vary from site to site and over time when bets are being placed. It's important to understand that these variations are natural and reflect the dynamic nature of sports betting markets.

And I'm not sure about those kind of odds if they have the same provider, I mean if there is a 10% better odds with the same selection, this could be taken advantage and be used for arbitrage?

So it's just wrong to say that they are unfair, just saying.
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: April 04, 2024, 01:53:59 PM
This is not new warning but I think people might need to be reminded about this after experiencing this personally just now. I recently made a loan using a casino wallet address, I check the wallet address if it’s the same before I ask the loan and I confirmed that it was the same.

The problem comes when the loan is already sent while my casino wallet address update right after the loan amount sent. Take note that I’m using same wallet address since I play to this casino for about 3 years and they just update my wallet address some time after I post my loan request here.

To make the story short. The balance is not credited but after a lengthy discussion with the support and after sending proof that my old wallet address is still the same when I made the deposit(loan) then they recover my funds out of good will.

The lesson here is always check the wallet address before you deposit no matter how long do you use the same address. Most importantly don’t use casino wallet address to receive funds that has a delay such as loan money and campaign payments since there’s a chance that they will update their wallet address without prior notice. Keep safe and have fun.

Or maybe just get a loan and using a wallet that you have control off? Not sure why you wanted to set it in a casino address, maybe to save fees and you can play right away, but this could be another lessons here to learn.

It's good though that the casino was able to recover your funds. But in worst cases, the casino might say that they address is already new and there's no way that they can recovered from that old address.
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: April 04, 2024, 12:35:03 PM
Good for you, others might not be as strong as you are, that's why they need like 10x10 and then gradually increase it by the day before they can hit that magical numbers. Your body will be shocked even by just 10 push-ups.

Maybe you are still young and that's why you are in your prime, but for us who are a bit older, we really need to take specially care as not to shock our bodies because it's not going to be good for us to have that pain throughout the week specially if you have a regular job.

So for me, just start slow but keep motivated to reach that 100 pushup regardless if that could be 10x10 or 20x5 or 25x5
Considering that I haven't exercised for a long time and am currently fasting during Ramadan, of course I didn't immediately take 50X at once. I still divided the 50X into 2 more. so 25 in the morning, and 25 again in the afternoon. so it fits 50X a day.
Since the first one has been completed, tomorrow I will increase my target again to 60X to 100X a day.

A person's body condition is different, I am around 31 years old, of course I am still in top condition. It all depends on the intention and consistency in doing these push ups. In fact, I read above that some people have added other combinations.

Honestly, I don't have a problem whenever Bitcoin reaches $100K. The important thing is to stay healthy and be motivated to exercise again.

You are still in your prime mate,  Grin

Me, nah, I'm already old and so I just have to take care of myself, although as I have said before, I attempted this kind of challenges years ago and I still have my training logs. But it is different now, and I do agree, even if we reach $100k we can still do and continue for our health and that's why I started this challenge.

Change my diet, drink a lot of milk and combination of sleep.

So yeah, take advantage while you are still in top shape and push your body, but for those who are old or at least under some maintenance medication, just do it in moderation.

405  Other / Off-topic / Re: Land Based Casinos in the Digital Age on: April 03, 2024, 08:56:40 PM
I think it depends on the gamblers themselves, there could be gamblers here who haven't seen a landbase casino, and they could be very young. And so I think majority of us here at some point step inside a land base, feeling very emotional as it's their first time and we are all nervous. But once we gain that confidence we fell in love with it. However, during the pandemic, we've seen the growth of online games and so maybe some traditional gamblers switch to them. Personally though, I still land base casino.

So there are advantage and disadvantage of both casino, but I think both are going to survived as the numbers of gamblers are also growing. In the States alone, there are a lot of land base casinos,

https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/casinos-by-state

As for the question of the OP, yeah, brick and mortar casinos are going to stay and will likely continue. Countries like Macau for instance, rely on it's land base casinos to give jobs for their population and they are earning like billions every month.
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Goulamirian Vs Zurdo Ramirez WBA Super World Cruiserweight Title March 30 on: April 03, 2024, 01:21:26 PM
We are so busy with The two title header in Rolly Romero against Isaac Pitbull Cruz and Tim Tszyu against Fundora that we forgot another title fight is going on

Zurdo Ramirez uses his ring generalship to beat Arsen Goulamirian to win the WBA cruiserweight title he is now a two time World Champion having been a super middleweight

Quote
With a smart and disciplined display, Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez became a two-weight world champion by dethroning WBA cruiserweight titleholder Arsen Goulamirian via 12-round unanimous decision at the YouTube Arena in Inglewood on Saturday. All three judges scored the bout 118-110 in favor of the new champion.

Arsen Goulamirian vs. Zurdo Ramirez results: Ramirez wins decision, captures WBA cruiserweight title

Here is the highlight of the fight

FIGHT HIGHLIGHTS | Arsen Goulamirian vs. Zurdo Ramirez

Yeah, I think we might have overlook this fight as it was in my feed, however, the weekend fight of Romero vs Pitbull and then the anticipated fight of Tim vs Sebastian which is one of the bloodiest fight in history takes place.

At least Zurdo is back on winning again, back to back and now a champion after his lost to Dmitri Bivol. But this division is not known to many boxing pundits, but I have seen a familiar name in Badou Jack that Zurdo can fight to unify the belts in CW.
407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 03, 2024, 11:45:41 AM
NBA fanatics we have a new poll for the coach of the year award. Only 2 voted so far. I voted for the young Mark Daigneault. No one expected the Thunder to come on top this season. Not even in the top 5. And Mark is coaching a very young line-up including a rookie. His starter lead by a 25 year-old Shai and the others are 21 and 22? Mark definitely deserved it even if OKC drops to number 3 in the west because Denver is expected while Minnesota has 3 superstars. And in the east? Boston is star-studded while the Bucks also added the veteran superstar Damian Lillard.
Same here, he turned the young OKC like a championship team. They were at number 1 but now at 3 but the season is not yet over. Regardless on what rank they'll finished, it's very evident that the OKC has showed some consistency and have beat a lot of great teams. SGA has been having some injury problem that's why they dropped, but even without their main man, they still win games which showed how good he is as a coach.

This young OKC team might be the dark horse in the playoffs, and I don't see them getting an early exit like a first round exit.

They are really so good this season but we can't conclude yet if they are really a championship team. This young team is not been tested on playoffs yet and we know the atmosphere on that series is really different since we can see that all teams became more competitive that's why we need to see first if they can advance to the next round. If OKC could able to do that and defeat those teams that are projected to be a favorite to land into the finals then maybe there will be no other further question that they are really great.

So hopefully they don't experience to get choked on first round since its exciting to see a young team compete and win a championship.

Of course, we are not even in the playoff and so we can't say if they are good. We can only conclude on what they are showing us. And with that at the top of the West, then we can say that they are indeed in best shape for this season.

And then we will see if they can pass the test with flying colors in the playoffs, they might be facing a experience team in the first round, and this is the first time that we might see them post Westbrook and KD. Now they have SGA as their leader and he should really proved that he is the franchise player by winning at least the first round.
408  Economy / Economics / Re: Church Business on: April 03, 2024, 11:04:57 AM
Church is a religious place for the followers of the biblical Jesus Christ to worship and praise him
Of recent church is one of one the fastest growing business in this part of the world. Church business is so lucrative that every body wants to go into it and are opening churches
Infact the rate at which GOD is calling people into the ministry is what gave me concerned as I have been waiting for the same call but is not forth coming, before the advent of this present evegelical move people who where associated with the church where termed church rats but today that statement has changed as it is now the church rats that are giving food to the outside rats
Infact pastor's have become so rich that they now own private jets and millionaire, the way our economy is going opening a ministry is now a sure away of moving away from economic hardship
Guys let discuss what do you think about this, are these pastor's really being called or they are just looking for a way out of economic hardship

It's been centuries already that the Church has uses it's power to grow their business and everything was in the history books for us to know. And with that religion is being taken advantage and we have heard pastor or church leaders being involved in a lot of controversies including money and the economy.

The Christians even have their own city, the Vatican, had their own rules, they have their own leaders.

And other Christian denominations here in our country are very rich as well, with all the donations and they even force their constituents to pay at least 10% of their monthly earnings to the Church.
409  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: April 03, 2024, 10:03:36 AM
Wow, I'm interested in following it.
But to be honest, because it's been a long time since I've exercised, I wouldn't be able to do 100 push ups a day straight away.
I just cut it by half so it's only 50 times a day. just to participate and re-grow a sense of health awareness.
I usually do pushups using only 6 fingers as support, 3 right fingers and 3 left fingers, not with palm support.

Well that is the aim here, doesn't mean that you can get 100 push ups right away. It will take time, but the thing is that it should be view as long term, so you need to take it slow in the beginning as our body might not cope if we force it to do 100 right away.
~snip~
actually 100X is very easy, I did it 1 time with only 6 finger supports. but because it's been a long time since the corona virus pandemic, I haven't even exercised, so for now I'm just reducing it by half and I'll add it little by little until I can reach 100X according to the title of this thread. I do this so that my body doesn't get shocked and it causes injury and I can't follow this challenge.

Good for you, others might not be as strong as you are, that's why they need like 10x10 and then gradually increase it by the day before they can hit that magical numbers. Your body will be shocked even by just 10 push-ups.

I will suggest not doing any variations when you started, but as you get strong then do add something new everyday like 6 fingers.
411  Economy / Economics / Re: Lock your bank balance on: April 02, 2024, 07:38:57 PM
In my country, until the mid-2000s, the Postal institution enabled its savers to partially or completely freeze their balances for a specific period of time, provided that the freeze on the amount would not be lifted regardless of whatever reasons, even in if the person’s death. This product was not available in banks as I recall, but since the 2000s this product has been completely abandoned. When I think about the concept, I find it very useful and it can serve the financial institution and the saver as well, especially those who want to secure their savings so that they never think about using it. I think that there are many reasons that might encourage a person to do this according to his assessment of his needs in the medium and long term. The financial institution will also benefit from the liquidity that it will accumulate from the frozen balances, in addition to the possibility to impose fees for the service.
This procedure may work for them during the 2000s but wouldn't be needful now. expecially now that cryptocurrency Bitcoin is in existence. Locking down fund in the bank is just a total waste of time. Bank will use your fund to loan some organisations or use it to do other business that will increase there fund and make more profit and leave your fund to suffer for inflation after some years with no interest. It is better I use my money to invest in Bitcoin and leave it there than locking it in the bank.

It's time deposit right? Yeah, even in my country it was prevalent in the 2000's or as we thought so. I think it was a good program that people think back then and then the banks put up a good promotion that you will earn money will sitting it in their bank.

But later, we found out that it will not worth something because of the small percentage that they are giving to it's customers, and then because of inflation, your money will have no value once the terms expire.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rolando Romero-Isaac Cruz to meet on March 30 in Las Vegas. on: April 02, 2024, 02:02:29 PM
Here we go again after Isaac Cruz brutally beat Rolly Romero, Ryan Garcia is at it again posting that Isaac Cruz is an easy fighter to beat, Isaac Cruz should give a Garcia a chance after Haney beat him a chance for another title so he can receive the same beating Rolly received at the hands of Isaac so he'll be humble.
Garcia never learned a lesson after Tank beat hi, he still think he is a great fighter.

If I'm Ryan, I will keep quiet for now and focus on beating Haney instead of jumping on the bandwagon because Isaac Cruz bet Rolly Romero. He has a bigger fish to fry here and not be concern of Cruz. For sure, Pitbull is not going to back out from a possible Ryan fight because of the money and he will milk his status as a WBO champion for now.

Yeah, he could beat Pitbull 9 out of 10, but still talking about him when he has a full plate in front of him and we don't know if he can beat this version of Haney which settled at 140 lbs and no more draining and that's why he improved his power when he bring down Prograis and then took the belt.
413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 190K in 2024? on: April 02, 2024, 12:19:00 PM
Considering how bitcoin has been performing over the years I will say that bitcoin at $190k is a good price range. That's more than 2x from current price. If I see bitcoin at this price I will sell part of my holding and reposition myself again for another entry point, possibly after bullrun might have been over. It's important to know when to take profit and when to keep holding.

Yes, possible that we might see it that big in the next year, not 2024. I think the best strategy is just to time the market, and then just sell at staggered set and not on one big dump of your stash. I do agree that we should still be holding or at least accumulating because we are still very far from that 6 digits that we wanted to see. So in every chance we have, we should save and stack sats. And then look for like $100k then $150k to sell and take profits in my opinion.

So I will say that we need more time and wait till 2025 to sell. Yes we reach new all time high, but there are more room to improve next year. For sure, others too are looking for a great ROI and this bull run will one of the biggest in history I reckon.

But what makes you so sure that bitcoin will reach $190K or higher by 2025 and not by the end of this year? I think relying on history to predict the future is no longer accurate because bitcoin also broke the historical cycle by creating a new ATH before halving. None of us have a crystal ball to know exactly what will happen in the future, whether bitcoin will peak this year or next year. We need to closely monitor the market situation so that we can make timely decisions instead of being subjective with our judgments.

It will be huge jump though, the chances are slim at least that's how I see it. Others predicted that the bull run top will be around that price of $150k-$190k and that could happen in 2025. So you just have to look at the chart right now, it will be like 2.x something in the next 6 months so that is huge in my opinion.

I could be wrong, but I think we should really be logical on what we want to see the price at the end of the year. $190k for me will be too big this year. So it's better not to expect something big and then be disappointed if it didn't happen just like in the last bull run wherein there were a prediction model (S2F) who says that the top price will be $100k but it didn't happen.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Global wealth preservation" on: April 02, 2024, 11:29:33 AM
In what ways do the historical narratives and cultural perceptions surrounding gold as a traditional store of value intersect with the emerging narrative and evolving cultural perception of Bitcoin as a digital store of value, and how might these intersections shape the future landscape of global wealth preservation?

Thank you for sharing your insights and perspectives!

Gold will still be dominant in my opinion, it has proven itself already, specially in WWII wherein Gold was really the hedge for reconstruction after the devastation of war. Although in the other side, Bitcoin has also proven itself during the pandemic as even ordinary and average joe was able to hedge their wealth on it.

I think it already shaping the future already, there are no known numbers yet, but we have seen that in the last 5 years, there are a big growth as far as Bitcoin holders is, and we have hear big companies or individuals or institutions already investing money. And with that, a would say that the narrative is good and future is bright for us.

416  Economy / Scam Accusations / Atomic Stealer - Mac OS malware that targets crypto wallets on: April 01, 2024, 12:42:13 PM
We have been talking about using Mac OS or even Unix flavored for our crypto activities because using Windows based are very dangerous as malwares can easily spread with this OS. However, recently, there was a info-stealer, known as Atomic Stealer.

So the threat actor leveraged everything when someone searches for
Code:
Arc Browser

And then it will redirect them to a fake site
Code:
airci[.]net
.

It will ask you to download the installer,
Code:
ArcSetup.dmg
that contains the Atomic Stealer.

Other supported actions of the stealer include:

  • collection of usernames and passwords from browser login data
  • the ability to pull credit card details
  • stealing data from a list of installed crypto wallets, among which are Ledger and Trezor

Although Ledger has blocked it, still we are not sure what is the extend of this malware as it could targets a lot of crypto wallets.

So again, we are not really safe in the world that we live-in. Hackers and criminals are evolving to author malware that will target any OS today and in the future.

418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 30, 2024, 12:26:04 PM
The Miami Heat beating the Portland Trail Blazers by sixty is crazy. The largest win in franchise history. A lot of the damage was done by their bench too. I guess you can say the Damian Lillard trade hasn’t quite paid off for the Trail Blazers, who have struggled pretty bad this year. Even Ayton who had been playing well didn’t do much tonight.
And that would also say a lot how strong the Miami Heat is, it's not only their dominant win because they also dominated the Cavaliers by 37 points. .. But them making a history for the franchise, that was insane. I am now convince that the Miami heat is still a championship team, though they might struggle in the NBA finals as they failed twice already (not even close) but in the East, the Celtics have to be prepared for them, or the Bucks.

Miami Heat is still has plenty of powers, they still have Butler and the experience under their belt, and they could be one of the dark horse again this playoff. It will not be instant for Portland though, they really have to rebuild after trading Dame Lillard and it's obviously struggled this season.

In playoff it's series so whether who Miami faces in their game, they should be prepared as Miami is not a easy team to beat. They will be hard pressed to be swept even if they faces top seed in the East, that's for sure.

I wonder what would be Giannis would request from the management if the Heat will beat them in the playoffs. Bucks already have a legit superstar Giannis +Lillard, they might need to traded Middletone in case they'll fail in the playoffs again. If Bucks will keep the current standing which is the number 2, Miami Heat will need to be at rank 7 for them to face, that's after the play-in.

And firing their former coach and getting Doc Rivers might bite them in the ass if they are going to lose against the Heat again. As we have said, they are doing good before getting coach Rivers.

They also have a history of firing their coach, even Mike Budenholzer who help them win a championship was not spared. So it's not the players that is the problem. But the management itself who keeps on changing their coaches if they see that they are under performing. At least gave them a good chance before replacing them.

129.6 - Wilson pounds and Valdez 129.7 pounds. Good to see that both make the weight without any problems.

This is going to be a great battle, this two doesn't back down from any challenge. It's going to be one of the best fights if they live up to the hype and both shows their warrior mentality.

In typical Valdez fashion the fight lived up to the hype and it was an exciting slugfest. Valdez with his experience proved to be the better fighter tonight, although he did have to take some damage. Valdez is champion once again, albeit an interim one, and will have the opportunity to make some intriguing matchups against some of the other belt holders. All the wars he’s been in have taken their toll but I think he still has enough to beat somebody like O’Shaquie Foster.

For Wilson, I can imagine the disappointment he feels. The last time he fought in Arizona the referee gave his opponent extra time to recover and this time around the fight was perhaps stopped prematurely. Wilson wasn’t showing much defense but Valdez was running out of gas and his punches were becoming less effective. With only a few seconds left in the round Wilson should have been given the opportunity to continue.

He was very emotional as he comeback to the same venue where he was destroyed not just physically, nut mentally as well when he lost against Navarette. So the same thing happen, he was crying but it is the opposite as he won this time against a very though opponent in Wilson.

So that extends him time in this division and not thinking about retirement. Because he admit that after that devastating lost against Naverette, he contemplating of hanging his gloves. But this is a great performance from him and at least 1-3 good fight or a big lost would really make Oscar Valdez retire because of the wear and tear.
