401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: November 29, 2023, 01:39:16 PM
There are people who have learnt how to trade, practiced on demo accounts for long but have not had the money to try trading on the market, and so they have abandoned trading to try search for money first. While there are others who have too little income, that they cannot profit from the market trading, they are always worried about loosing and because of that they make mistakes with their technical analysis and end up loosing the little money they have. Should trading be exclusive to financially comfortable and rich because of how risky it is?
I understand that trading requires not just knowledge and skills but also money. Yes, often to say that those who have enough capital can stay in trading while those who are incapable or limited resources will quit. Well, the truth is that even if you are poor but your level of market understanding is quite good, making a profit is not impossible. In fact, we can start trading at the minimum amount and grow it. As long as we are able to manage carefully our trades, it is not impossible to grow them and become rich. As a trader, we should have to live in a positive mindset.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why alt is important on: November 29, 2023, 12:35:58 PM
snipped...
BTC is always the king.

Despite the appreciation you've made, still you admit that Bitcoin is still the best option among cryptocurrencies.
And based on the list that you have, those pump and price rallies are not actually the factor to think about and consider that those projects are worth investing in, they are just made with hype and turn into a scam later. Because for me, old altcoins have more potential than these new sets of projects - replicas, clones, etc. Honestly, the majority of these new projects are made to just ruin the market, not to help it grow.
403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Request to learn gambling on: November 29, 2023, 07:41:58 AM
Just say no if you don't want to be blame in the end,  Tongue

The introduction is quite bad, she expects to make gambling as here other source of income, that's too ambitious, if we who have been gambler for years can't turn our faith to that, how much more a person who is quite new in gambling, she must be special in order to do that.

Your friend must be so desperate to think gambling on her goal, tell here to find an opportunity somewhere else, gambling is not the answer, but would only bring her more problems.

405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin transaction time reduce in future? on: November 28, 2023, 01:06:37 PM
We can expect as the development and transactions improvement is ongoing. But for now, moving BTC is quite expensive, and have no other option aside from converting it to altcoins like XRP and TRX for cheap fees which is mostly done when the time like this happens.
The situation has already happened in the past years and it appears again, which makes those people who experience remain calm and of course, they are aware that it will be over soon. If we have other options in order not to touch our Bitcoin, I think that suits this time. Even though we can see now that the fees are gradually lowering, still we're unsure how long this will end.
406  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I still hold the investment or sell it? on: November 28, 2023, 11:36:31 AM
Hold if you are still looking for more and want to experience bull season while having your cryptos complete. But if you are already contented enough with the profit that you have these days, then sell them. Because your decision matters to your goal and the thing that you want to happen. It means even if we said that holding is the best option but if it was against your will, that will never work. Indeed, you should think wisely, and just follow what is your plan/target because we all have differences.
407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: November 28, 2023, 02:40:04 AM
I read your post OP. You have mentioned that with right strategies, you can make more wins then losses. But here you are completely wrong mate. Gambling is all about game of luck, so no matter what strategy you follow, if your destiny has loss for it, then no one can save you from getting into losses. Yes, if you are talking about sportsbetting, then yes, upto some sort of skill is required to make the analysis, but in order to win at a casino game, your luck needs to good.

OP is probably talking about skilled based game if you were able to understand his statement.

And you might have violated as you posted in this thread when you don't believe that one can win in gambling.
her's what OP stated.

If you're someone who doesn't believe anyone can be profitable in gambling, you might as well consider yourself not welcome in this thread. I

We can discuss this no chance to win as gambling is all bout luck in other threads maybe, this thread is an evidence that there's some people who are optimistic in winning, call them stupid maybe but they do exist and they believe they'll win.
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 28, 2023, 02:22:47 AM
I just saw an interesting fact. Tonight LeBron James is going to pass Kareem for the most career minutes played in NBA history. A pretty huge accomplishment.

LeBron continues to break records; that's him, and he is truly deserving to be called the king, although not yet the GOAT, and may never replace MJ as the greatest of all time. I know LeBron will have more seasons in the NBA, and whatever he achieves, I think it might take centuries before it is surpassed.
409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you need to know about trading on: November 27, 2023, 12:56:55 PM
Impatient people are not ideal for trading.

And what they need to learn is not it's not always about the profit that's being bragged by other traders. It's because there's always a story behind the success of someone.

Those profits that they brag probably have gone through a lot of losses before claiming it.
They can just think about the profit if they are capable enough to trade and claim that they are knowledgeable enough. But as long as they are still learning, they first think and focus on analyzing the market and helping it understand with the help of these trading tools available online. They should think about preparation first before thinking about earning as it is easy if we are already fully equipped with knowledge, skills, and strategies as these are the tools needed in order to succeed.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. on: November 27, 2023, 12:11:34 PM
The way some people present Bitcoin to newbies who are interested in the technology, that's what makes them feel that Bitcoin is a get-rich-quick scheme. For example, you might ask a newbie to invest in Bitcoin, telling them that they will make a big profit in the next bull market. They might invest the way you have asked them to, but they might not actually know what the bull and bear markets are. They might not be able to handle the volatile nature of the market. But for the experienced Bitcoiners, they're all aware that Bitcoin is not a get-rich-quick scheme; Bitcoin investment takes time for you to reap your profit.
Perhaps, it is a working strategy by most scammers that inject wrong information about Bitcoin. In this way, it drives the mindset of these innocent people that they will become rich instantly when investing in Bitcoin not knowing that every single mistake the consequences is huge, and possibly losing the entire money.

As we can see, a lot of people show interest in Bitcoin but once they start and see how the market works, many are quitting.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: November 27, 2023, 03:23:14 AM
The problem here is that people forget to document what will happen if the money is lost in gambling and will the borrower share the loss too?

Trusting someone or financing someone to gamble on your behalf doesn't necessarily require documentation, especially in the gambling world where words are often honored. When you fund someone to gamble, it implies a level of trust, and any potential benefits are typically shared according to the agreement. In the event of a loss, the responsibility falls on the financier, while the person gambling bears no responsibility for the losses. That's how it typically works.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 27, 2023, 02:55:52 AM
No Durant and the Suns are still winning the game currently. Gordon and Booker seem to be holding it down so far. Knicks better get someone besides Brunson going or they're not gonna have a chance in this game.

The Knicks couldn't take advantage in this game despite the Suns being undermanned, missing two of their superstars, and the Knicks playing at home. Suns with Booker (+ -) Durant really playing good basketball here, so even if bookies would sometimes make them as underdog, we can be confident that they have a good chance of winning, I'm wondering what the ML odds for this game?
413  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: November 24, 2023, 06:41:22 AM
Well, I could say it was important but it was not a priority as we can still live without this. Of course, for those who are rich and are enough to pay it monthly, I think they need it really. For some people, it was just preparing for the worst - accidents and death. But we can't see our destiny, at least by having this insurance we could live with peace of mind as we no longer bother any of our family or relatives for the expenses of whatever happens. It is a part of our preparation and we know that we will go that way soon.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: November 24, 2023, 03:37:35 AM
I'm rolling with Phoenix in the opening game and putting my money on Ginebra for the second one. I just can't picture ROS coming out on top against a fired-up Ginebra squad hungry for redemption after taking an L in their previous matchup.

Seems like everyone's banking on Ginebra for the win, expecting some redemption, and chances are, they'll clinch it with a big lead. No offense to ROS, but let's be real, they can't ride solely on their rep because, let's face it, they've been seriously struggling. Looking at the current standings, ROS is 0-3, so until they start bagging consistent wins, it's not smart to put our money on them.

I just checked the spread, it's -7.5. I reckon that's manageable.

https://duelbits.com/sportsbook/home/basketball

No doubt, putting your money on Rain or Shine seems like a risky move given their current struggles. Ginebra tends to come back strong after a loss, and Coach Tim definitely won't be pleased with a defeat in a game they were supposed to win. Expect him to make a statement with this victory.

Thinking about some specials, like Ginebra winning by 26+ points, might be worth considering. However, the problem with the duel is they tend to put limits on PBA bets, unlike the NBA where you can go big even on high odds, like the specials I mentioned.
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When does the moment come when the gambler loses control? on: November 23, 2023, 01:23:50 PM
But I believe that the greatest dependence on gambling appears at the moment of loss, when the player admits in his head the idea that he could earn so much. He is disappointed, but wants to recoup. It is at this moment that the desire comes to play again and again in order to return to the previous state.

This seems to be a common situation for gamblers who don't grasp the risks involved and refuse to acknowledge that losses are part of the game. It's an undying issue in the gambling world for many irresponsible gamblers spending more than their actual budget. Unfortunately, some even reach the point of blaming gambling for their misfortunes rather than reflecting on their own approach to it.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing a money on: November 23, 2023, 09:46:41 AM
Let's assume we have a) $5000 b) $10000 c) $15000 to invest, what do you suggest?
I'm going straight to you mate,  you have to choose Bitcoin and ETH, nothing else if you want a secure (at least) investment.
Just consider the thing that many Bitcoin investors, well, they are not millionaires already but have to say that makes their life even better.

I am sure that you have heard about meme coins already. Indeed, some people make a decent profit from them just think about the huge risk you may take from investing in them as they are prone to a scam. Better choose the projects that are well established, certainly, it gives you profit.
417  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there still hope for the price of BTC to hit back $69k this year? on: November 23, 2023, 09:18:51 AM
Based on what is happening in this month of November, I believe the price of BTC will reach above $40k but it will not reach $69k before the end of this year but it will come close to $100k next year ending which is my major target.
If we analyzed the current progress on Bitcoin price, achieving $40k should be easy at the end of this year. The price looks quite strong to survive above $35k, it is even trying again to reach $38k now. Yesterday, I thought there will be another severe decline when there was bad news regarding CEO Binance (Changpeng Zhao) resigned. But when I look at the market condition today, I am quite confidence that that news seems to have no significant influence to the growth of Bitcoin price. It may influence the price of BNB coin only.

Well, $69k is likely too high target for the end of this year. I even doubt if we can achieve it before halving, it is something that we possible achieves after halving schedule. I think the highest price that we may reach at the end of this year is $45k. For $100k, it is surely possible to achieve but I don't know whether it can be achieved in 2024 or in 2025. If we look at the previous bullrun history, the highest price of Bitcoin probably happens 1 year after the halving.

It was realistic to see the price of Bitcoin @40k but talking about $65k, there is a big chance that won't happen. In fact, we only have 38 days left before the end of this year and with the current movement of the market, we're not in the bullish state to see a miracle. As per see, nothing could drive the market to move high but it was the impact of halving which is likely to happen next year. And we often see positive results in the previous halving which is also possible to happen once again.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 23, 2023, 03:36:56 AM
A couple of good games airing on ESPN tonight as we roll into the holidays. First up the Bucks vs the Celtics. This should be a great game with 2 of the best teams in the league. Then we have the Suns vs the Warriors. I’m expecting the Suns to win this game easily as the Warriors have been struggling a bit, so it might be worth betting on.

Yeah can't wait for the Bucks celts game.  Might be an eastern conference finals preview early in the year.  Wanted to stick some money on the game but can't figure out which way I want to lean.  Might end up throwing it on the over and root for both teams offenses lol.  If I had to go with my gut I'd say celts and the money line.

Turns out it's a boring game, Boston have been controlling the game and Bucks has not even won a single quarter. Celtics already have a comfortable lead, I'm not sure if the Bucks could still have a big run to come back in less 6 minutes left inn the 4th quarter.

Checking out the final score, it might seem like a tight game with the Celtics winning by just 3 points. However, the Bucks made their move only in the 4th quarter, and let's be real, it was mostly garbage time. The Celtics already had a solid lead. If the Bucks were serious about winning, they should've kicked off that comeback in the 2nd half. I can't even recall a moment when the Bucks were in the lead throughout the whole game.

Meanwhile, Spurs losing streak continues. !
419  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some traps to avoid in bullrun. on: November 22, 2023, 01:38:14 PM

4.Be prepared for the worst and hope for the best: Be prepared for anything that comes later, the coin you are having in mind to pump may do that and might not do that. If you are lucky and have profit, enjoy the profits and if you don't make anything, he happy that you were part of the bull cycle, there is nothing guarantee in crypto because you don't know tomorrow. People that are saying bitcoin will go to $1M are all speculators and are just hoping it happens, nothing is guaranteed here, just be prepared and hope for the best.
We don't just hope but certainly be doing what is best. We could just listen and see the market sentiment and act accordingly that will give favor to us, we can't go against the trend but rather go along with it. If we need to hold, then we should. Buy at a low price and then sell at a high - it is certainly working so well.

We have to boost ourselves by trusting and believing in the bright future of the market. And we don't stop believing that bull season will come after the bear season, so must live patiently and remain focused on our goal rather than be disturbed by fake news.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]Adrien Broner vs Chris Howard (Welterweight) Nov 4. . on: November 22, 2023, 12:56:03 PM

So, it seems the reported injury might just be a convenient excuse because he doesn't find the fight appealing or has had a change of heart. What's going on with him, asking for a championship fight when he's at the bottom of the standings? It's like he's lost touch with reality or forgotten his current rank.

I get that he's into big fights, but he doesn't get to dictate how matchups are created. If he can't adhere to the rules of professional boxing regarding fights, maybe he should consider retiring and going for exhibition fights. With his skills in trashatalking, he's sure to draw a massive audience, and it could be a way to stay in the limelight even not in the professional sports of boxing.

Broner thinks that he can just demand a title shot at this point of his career, he has fought nobody after he lost to Manny Pacquiao, his career is clearly sliding and he is cherry-picking fights because he knows he cannot keep up with the top boxers in this generation, the trust is he is asking for the title because he just wants to make money before he exits in boxing and of course unless he did not get knock out he will still insist that he won the fight.
This is the kind of boxer who stays too long in boxing and cannot admit that his glory days are over, and with Broner's lifestyle he just wants more money, he is like Mayweather, a big spender who wants to flaunt his money.
I think it's better for this thread to be locked because the fight will not happen.

Pacman really did big damage to his career but I think the real struggle does not start on that particular fight, it started when he got too cocky against Maidana and the latter schooled him. He was even lucky to fight Pacman, but his performance does replicate the way he talk as he thought he had won the game when he was only throwing few punches and not hiiting clean shots on Pacman.
