921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You are probably a target already if... on: April 05, 2023, 07:44:45 AM
Or one could just avoid airdrops together. The security and privacy risk one is exposed to by trying out multiple airdrops is not worth the tokens they give out as rewards.
The time completing those tasks and creating different social accounts can be applied to some other endeavor which would be more rewarding.

I don't think it's a problem participating in airdrop, it's just that we have to use another wallet and don't use the main wallet, thereby minimizing the risk, because I'm still actively participating in the current airdrop (since ARB success) and of course I'm using a new wallet which is specifically for participating in airdrop.
If all participants had also anticipated the possible risk and are able to do as you said, then never I see it wrong. Unfortunately, many participants don't think about nor care about their main wallet but rather focus on what they get from airdrops.
Yes, there is no wrong in participating in airdrops as I was doing it in the past but never did it again after wasting my time while just only getting shitcoins. ARB is successful with their airdrops and it was good to hear that but I hope they can sell them at a good price because as we can see, it is dropping badly.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 04, 2023, 05:05:17 AM
Inoue is unlikely to move down to bantamweight again, creating a great opportunity for anyone to become a champion in this division.

Agreed, Inoue is unlikely to return to the bantamweight division as he has already dominated it and become an undisputed champion. With his exceptional boxing skills, he is more likely to achieve greater success in a higher division, where there is also more money to be made. Inoue is still pushing his limits and has a long career ahead of him. His focus should be on winning every fight and following in the footsteps of legends like Pacquiao, who has achieved both success and wealth through their boxing careers.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 04, 2023, 03:42:53 AM
Is there anyone here who is interested in running a series betting? With plenty of time before game 1, it would be a good idea to start betting now. If you're interested in betting with me, I'm confident that the Ginebra Gin Kings will win this series. Although TNT is a good team, RHJ has been eager to play with Brownlee and believes they can beat the defending champions.
I'm definitely interested in participating in the betting, but I doubt if there are posters here who will bet on TNT given how well the Gin Kings have played this conference. It's important to note that if Ginebra is able to limit RHJ's impact, the whole TNT team will struggle, and we know that JB has the capability to do just that, as he demonstrated with the import of SMB.

CStand and Aguilar are twin towers of the TNT and with that, they might be forced to put 2 big to defend the paint. It's good that the TNT has many good players who can just step up offensively when needed.
Ginebra has the advantage inside the paint with the return of Aguilar, giving them an added boost. On the other hand, TNT needs to focus on their accurate 3-point shooting, as it will be their main weapon in winning the series.
924  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can end poverty? In a nation today on: April 03, 2023, 08:58:40 PM
For me proverty is not the problem of a person but of the whole nation in my country the eradication of poverty has becomes necessary for the sustainable and inclusive growth of the let state the fate here Bitcoin has helps the poor by Increasin their savings and access to capital also it has help around 1.7million people in my country and also it has also impoverished people to control their investment.
Its a digital currency and its just not right to have that impression that this would really be ending up on being a saviour on countries economy and solving out poverty.Yes, we cant really deny that there are lots who

had changed up their lives with their Bitcoin investment or overall cryptocurrency portfolio but we know that it would really be just small percentage if we do speak about poverty solving.
This is why as an individual then its better to mind off your own life on enhancing it out via investment whether on crypto or any other things as long it would really be that beneficial for you.
You are the only ones who could be able to solve out for yourself if we do speak about financial freedom and economic survivability.
Many people had changed their life upon investing in Bitcoin but also hide the fact that many people also lost their money and hopes when they are in crypto. A reason why we could not think that it save us and lifted the nation from poverty as it was just a tool to improve our living but not to the point that it carry the nation to grow its economic system. Because Bitcoin can't make magic and in order for a particular country to stop poverty, they will create a program focusing on this, not just by relying on Bitcoin. In fact, they are not investing yet...
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinions of future in Crypto with AI technology? on: April 02, 2023, 09:57:09 PM
AI is the biggest thing that we all faced in 2023 I think. With chatgpt it became everyone attention. I have seen lot of crypto projects that are marketing they are using AI technologies in their projects. So what do you think about this? Are they really using AI or is it for market themselves? Because I don't find anything about AI technologies that they are talking In their websites or whitepapers.

Do you suggest me good projects that using AI technologies for study? What is in your bucket list and what are your opinions about AI + Crypto in future?
Many companies have already used bots and I see it was more helpful for them to lessen manpower designated for answering queries, they don't need someone to work 24/7. The idea of having AI is worth enough and this ChatGPT is gaining much attention and it performs so well. I believe this kind of development brings something more advance and less hassle to the company and I believe this would encourage more companies to use AI in the coming days. In fact, some companies are also developing their own AI technology as they notice that it was more efficient.
926  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: April 02, 2023, 08:03:04 AM
Honestly, life now is hard without saving but of course, it is not all about saving, we must also learn how to grow it and make more money from our savings. As long as we still have the chance to do it, then we must do it as we can no longer save our money when we are old and incapable to work. I know people have a hard time doing this and I admit it was challenging when doing but that just upon the start, we can adjust over time as long as we are motivated to do thiss and putting other people's life who did this already.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of accepting bitcoin in business on: March 31, 2023, 10:02:44 AM
There are two advantages of accepting Bitcoin in my country.

1} To avoid the devaluation of fiat, every year our currency depreciates significantly in value, there is no reason to accept Fiat and save money in the bank, they lose value too fast. I keep money in the Bank because of expenses.

2.} If your business is flourishing, you can easily gather some Sats from your earnings and redirect the rest to your business if you have a lot of Sats to spare.
There are a lot of things we need to consider when accepting Bitcoin. And aside from those things that you have mentioned, it was also important that we know that Bitcoin is legal in our country to expect that many Bitcoin holders will take their chance to spend in your store otherwise, it makes no sense at all.

And the last thing is that we know also how to spread awareness of our business regarding accepting crypto as an additional payment option. The more we spread information like this, the more it gives curiosity to the community.
928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profitable trading ETH/USD or ETH/BTC on: March 31, 2023, 09:28:12 AM
Can you give me insight, do you think trading via ETH/BTC is more profitable than ETH/USD? Please give me an advice.
Honestly, I haven't tried ETH/BTC and ETH/BUSD, I use BTC/BUSD for quite some time than ETH and I would say it was profiting. But the truth is that using highly volatile coins for trading is more profitable that is why most traders are using altcoins over BTC. If you have this now and are currently trading, I suggest that you open for other pairs like what I did in order to have a comparison. Because even if I tell you that this x/x is more profitable than this x/y, I'm not sure as well if you are also in profit as it will depend on the trader, not the coins that we are using.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Neymar Loses €1M in Casino in Just an Hour on: March 31, 2023, 06:16:20 AM
The fact that Neymar laughed after losing money on a bet may suggest that he can afford the loss. He's not promoting gambling and has his own life. As long as gambling is legal in his jurisdiction, it's not a big deal, and he's entitled to spend his money however he chooses.

Neymar is a wealthy athlete who doesn't rely solely on his salary, as he has endorsement deals and other sources of income. It would be foolish for people who struggle financially to bet large sums of money and lose, but for someone like Neymar, the amount he lost may be considered peanuts or, in other words, a relatively small amount that he can easily afford to lose.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 31, 2023, 05:45:03 AM
That Celtics game was something else. They really focused on shutting Giannis down and forcing him to take bad shots. At the same time their offense was incredible behind great games from both Tatum and Brown. They’ve been figuring out how to beat the Bucks for years now and tonight it looked like they had it figured out. The playoffs are going to be great this year.
The playoffs will be exciting, especially if these two teams meet again. While the Celtics found a way to limit Giannis, a best-of-seven series means that both teams will have to make adjustments to secure victory.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans dominated the Nuggets, who were without Jokic, and won by 19 points on the road. This win is crucial for them as they desperately need to win their remaining games.

I’m sure they will meet again in the playoffs. The only team that can really even have a chance to emerge from the East besides those two would be Philly, and I just don’t think a James Harden team can perform well in the playoffs.
James Harden hasn't performed well in the playoffs so far, while Embiid has been consistent. However, the real challenge for the 76ers is how to defeat a team like the Celtics, whose points come from multiple sources and who have big men that could limit Embiid's production. Facing the Celtics in the second round would be a nightmare for the 76ers.

I was surprised the Pelicans dominated the Nuggets even without Joker. When the Pelicans get Zion back they’re going to be a nightmare matchup.
There's a rumor that he could return next month based on their article.

That means Williamson's earliest possible return date is April 5. At that stage of the season, New Orleans will only have three games left on its schedule (vs. Grizzlies on April 5, vs. Knicks on April 7 and at Timberwolves on April 9).
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: March 31, 2023, 02:34:01 AM
Considering his status, age and other stuff, it's really gonna be hard for him to follow that type of plan if ever that's the plan. And as of now, we can't do anything but just to wait whatever's gonna be announced.

No need to be bothered. Only him knows what's the best thing to do.

Either way, he just needs to win this match and reclaim another title. Should be an easy fight for him as Santiago is not in his league.

After he became again a world champion, expect him to be active in the ring as mandatory fights will be negotiated right after.

That's certain as Donaire is aware that time is not on his side. Despite his age, there's no indication that he'll be retiring anytime soon, as he's still able to compete with younger fighters. However, if there are no good challengers left in the bantamweight division, he may consider retirement as a champion.

Retiring as a champion would be a significant milestone of success in Donaire's career.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 31, 2023, 01:54:08 AM
TBH, it's good that I didn't bet on the Bolts in Game 3 because the odds are attractive, but this time, I'm thinking that the Bolts will force a Game 5 with a win in this game. This time, I might put a bet on the Bolts. Cheesy
While it's certainly possible, I don't believe there will be a Game 5 in this series. TNT has been dominant in the last two games and is determined to win. I'm not sure what kind of adjustments Meralco Bolts can make at this point. As long as TNT's import continues to produce his usual numbers, it will be challenging to stop them, especially with their strong outside shooting.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: March 30, 2023, 04:57:39 AM
snip...
If you use just 1.5 dollars to do transactions, then you would be able to do it under 30 seconds without delay, could be quicker I don't know but 30 seconds is as quick as it gets if you ask me, that is something I would be able to wait even when I pay outside for something until it is confirmed, 30 seconds is nothing and it could be even quicker. That is 1.5 dollars, if you pay something like 1 dollars, it will take a while, like a few minutes at least, but it will happen again.

I am not sure why people find that a lot. I get that there are ones that are nearly free, like just a few cents, and some are actually free. But ethereum has ten times and even more transactions than those projects, so it is normal for it to be more expensive.

That's true. Compared to the fund security and transaction efficiency, these fees are nothing but reasonable. Even if the fees are higher, I don't think we should blame this because an extra service or competitive advantage means extra pay. It's like in real life, Mercedes or BMW cars probably won't be as reliable as Toyota's but this does not change the fact that so many consumers are still willing to pay triple or even more money to buy a prestige brand like Mercedes. More importantly in the case of crypto market, ETH is much more trustworthy than the other altcoins.
And one reason is that people had already given their trust and been loyal to it. Despite the thing of paying high fees than other platforms, people are very confident in using this without thinking if their coins won't arrive at their destination address. Yes, trustworthy and it was only a few projects shown to us and investors/traders are willing to pay any amount provided that their transactions will be completely sent.
934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: March 30, 2023, 03:15:07 AM
I really was having this question in mind to ask if it will advisable for somebody who want to start up trying doing online investment and chooses trade as perfect for him or her. What will be your advice for such person as a beginner into online Invertement. I want to hear your opinions if it right or wrong despite it risk,so what your opinion or advise .
The best words that we have to say for them is to study first that particular investment and get familiar with it. Nobody succeeds without research and most of all, we don't have to do such investment or trading because someone does and tells us but rather asses ourselves if we can really do that. Because the truth is that we can't be like them, nor we coulda say that what happened to them will also happen to us. It is very important to know if we are really prepared and capable enough for this otherwise, don't do it.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 29, 2023, 02:52:10 AM

This is Casimero's first fight this year, so he will need to start strong if he hopes to secure an opportunity to fight against a top challenger or champion in this division.

It's true that Casimero tends to start his fights strongly, and his only loss came from a disqualification. Additionally, being in a division where reaching the required weight is not a struggle for him will undoubtedly work in his favor.

However, his upcoming opponent is also a KO artist, making for a great fight that promises some intense action. Given that both fighters have a reputation for quick finishes, it's possible that we might see a bloody and action-packed match. If the fight goes the full 12 rounds, Casimero may be at risk of losing, as he typically wins his fights with his signature counter-punch KO in the earlier rounds.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 29, 2023, 02:15:18 AM
The Utah Jazz are fighting for their chance to make the play-in tournament. They are currently on a three-game losing streak and are now playing against the Suns. This is fun to watch because the scores are close, and since they are playing at home, I believe they have a decent chance of winning the game.

There's still no Durant for the Suns and no Clarkson for the Jazz. But even without Clarkson, the Jazz have shown that they are still a good team that can beat top-ranked teams. The Suns should not be an exception to that as the Jazz have already beaten the Celtics and the Kings before on the same floor.
After watching a sports show earlier there was an announcement for Kevin Durant of his return to the lineup after being sidelined since his signing with the Suns.
He missed 10 games although I thought it was much more than that. He should be playing against Timberwolves on Wednesday game.
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10069982-report-kevin-durant-expected-to-return-from-ankle-injury-for-suns-vs-timberwolves
This is a great development for the Suns. Initially, many thought that Durant would miss the remainder of the season, but this news changes things significantly. With Durant's return, the Suns' chance for a championship run will be significantly increased. As a Warriors fan, it would be a tough battle against Durant, unless Wiggins also makes a comeback during the playoffs or hopefully in the near future.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel bad while paying with BTC? on: March 28, 2023, 10:10:48 PM
True, sometimes I am also very unwilling to exchange the Bitcoins I have into fiat, like what I did was wrong, but I have no other choice, because most of my assets are in the form of Bitcoins and whenever I really need money I will exchange them. But if I have stablecoins, I usually prefer to pay using stablecoins, and if I have extra money I will usually invest it back into Bitcoin.
This means that all of our major transactions are still reliant on fiat. We always think about the future value of Bitcoin which makes us uncomfortable spending it but instead, we use to convert it into fiat money which is just the same. We just realized that we are not yet ready for the said adoption because internally, we are not prepared. In reality, people had come to the crypto world not because they want to buy Bitcoin and use it for payment but rather because they come here solely for investment purposes.
938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto or Forex? on: March 28, 2023, 09:45:43 PM
When it comes to volatility OP, crypto was indeed showing more a reason why it gives more interest to the people despite the risk because in this way we have the chance of earning more compared to Forex trading. However, it was not just the volatile nature of the market, crypto had also a lot of choices.
But in general, whether it was forex or crypto trading, earning a profit still depends on the trader, and if we don't have knowledge and skill about trading, we can't expect good results but failure and losses.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: March 28, 2023, 12:28:35 PM
I'm picking Josh Taylor to win by KO/TKO. I believe that Teofimo just got lucky when he beat Lomachenko because he was exposed against Kambosos. So, I trust a consistent champion who has not experienced a defeat yet. This might be a difficult fight for Taylor, but I think he will end up winning by KO since we also know how aggressive Teofimo is. He'll taste his own medicine in the end.

I believe that if both will go toe-to-toe, Taylor will have a good advantage, like what you said Lopez will taste the dose of his
own medicine when confronting Taylor.

Let see if how both fighters will prepare here and how they will bring something enjoyable for the fans that will support them during the fight.

It will be for the supporters to put their money to whatever they'll like and believe, entrusting their money to the chosen fighter.

The odds should be attractive on both sides, as although Taylor has some advantages, I'm sure there are still plenty of bettors who believe that the younger Teofimo Lopez might upset Josh Taylor. Based on the poll, the voting results as of now are also very close, which means the pulse of the posters here is divided.
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a casino ever run without the government's awareness? on: March 28, 2023, 11:40:55 AM
If we are referring to that kind of casino, then it is called an illegal casino. Only the government can make the business legal, and you need to obtain the necessary permits to make your business legal, which means you are under the supervision of the government.

Take crypto, for example, it's supposed to be anonymous, but look what is happening now. In fact, there's what we call a DEX (decentralized exchange) before, but look where they are now.
