1381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 05, 2022, 12:33:18 PM

TNT is exhausted in the 3rd quarter and because some of them are injured and Erram was ejected from the game, there is not much rotation from the players. Castro playing on a sprained ankle is just forcing himself to play. He performed well though you can really see that he is hurt every time he landed on his feet.

I think they look exhausted in the 4th quarter as they have a big run in the 3rd quarter, there are even times that they lead the game, but in the 4th quarter, it was really the dominant SMB that took over the game, IIRC, it started with a 17-0 run, that's unbelievable.
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 02, 2022, 03:37:16 PM
For Paul Butler to win in the fight he needs to fight toe to toe with Naoya Inoue. Even though running is an option for him to survive in 12 rounds, we know Inoya will catch him with those lethal left hooks. This will be a good fight though even though he's fighting a mid fighter, Butler might surprise us with his hidden cards.
We don't want that typical running but just full foot work. But if it's part of his gameplay then he might be able to survive for many rounds.

We want a toe to toe match just like the typical Inoue unleashing the beast out of him. Almost all of us here are with the prowess and counting for Inoue.

The question is, can he run on Inoue for the entire 12 rounds? The answer is no, because he is not as quick as Mayweather or Rigo, Butler might slow down if he get hit by a solid body punch which is the signature punch of Inoue. Fans are excited to see the outcome of the fight, as to the winner, they are not because we already know that Inoue's chance to win is more than 50%.

The momentum swings to SMB's favor after that blowout win and Castro's questionable condition for game 7 isn't helping TNT.

It is questionable for now but I bet he will be playing come game 7. It is Castro we are talking about. The guy has lot of spirit and sure will push himself to play even if he is not 100%. Anyway, if he gets to play game 7 and they win, I am sure he will get the Finals MVP award. No one would question how important his presence in the court is for the team. He has bailed them time and time again since playoffs up to the finals.

Exactly, Castro should not miss the game 7 as there's a chance that they will win a championship again. It's just too sad to see Castro was injured but when he was out in game 5, TNT is still playing well and beat the SMB. let's stop talking about scripted, rigged, or whatever, SMB deserved the win, and if they'll be the champ, there's no question about that.
1384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you stake stablecoins now? on: September 01, 2022, 11:24:05 PM
Stablecoins are the safest choice for now, especially USDC and BUSD because when compared to other stablecoins such as USDT, which has a very high risk because it is still not reliable and trustworthy and USDT is not audited regularly, in contrast to BUSD which gets audited every month and USDC follow the rules so that your step of staking in this stablecoin is the right step because it has a small risk.
No, they are not safe at all.
But, we are talking about new stablecoins Beefy and that is what OP is asking for. Well, the comparison to stablecoins that you have mentioned above is different as they are known already, unlike Beefy which kinda be risky. But still, I would say staking in stablecoins is not safe, nothing we get any assurance knowing that this project hasn't yet gained a good reputation. We can't just simply think they are true to their plan, in fact, many people had lose their money due to the Terra Luna issue and that is something we consider it.
1385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do $19k again before a bull market? on: September 01, 2022, 10:53:41 PM
I think is more possible than many people guess. We saw huge price movements around covid period, like you can remember we dropped below 10k. I feel like if traders feel like bitcoin is not profitable they can create sell walls and bulls will not break those walls. Although as I mentioned in different threads its better to start accumulating early. At one point Bitcoin will do huge jump like 2x and missing the train will feel awful.
Indeed. Instead of bothering ourselves and make busy thinking about the uncertain scenarios, we'd better take this chance to accumulate more and make ready of ourselves for the big one. Because no matter what we do, the price will fall or go up and we can do nothing about that. It was best to make ourselves prepared rather than speculating the market as we are still not even sure what will happen next.
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 01, 2022, 11:03:47 AM

In game 4, we still have the SMB as the favorite.

You can check your bookies now, SMB is -3.5, same spread we have in game 5.
Game 6 is a do or die for SMB, I hope they will even the series so game 7 is going to be more exciting.

I'm hoping that they will comeback strong after that lost last game 5. They needed to play harder as it is a do-or-die game for them, they need to bring the ball to Fajardo and let him attract the defense. Lassiter and Ross should guide the young guns and show them how to play defense. It's not just the offense, but more on defense. Good luck SMB fans!

Yes, they lose game 5 and they cannot lose again, or else the series will be over. We all want an exciting series, so let's hope that game 7 is gonna happen. Game 6 will be Friday, so maybe game 7 will be Sunday, imagine how big the crowd on that day.

1388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins for this week on: August 31, 2022, 01:33:05 PM
Bnb, ada coin sure high this week.
Any reason why? Or do you have some basis for that?
I am actually very hesitant to hear speculation, predictions, and why. Because the market is volatile and unpredictable, and sometimes prices are manipulated. We can just simply assume that this will possibly be going to happen but not in a way become certain of that. Unless you are a very influential whale that can manipulate their price and go along with your decisions. But I guess not, nor I think you are capable enough to do it.
1389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which meme coin is your favourite on: August 31, 2022, 12:43:21 PM
Between Baby Doge and Shiba inu which one do you feel is right for long term hold? Is there any fan of Baby Doge here? Do you think Baby doge can bring better gains than Shiba already did in near future.
Shiba Inu seems to be far from other meme coins which is why many investors had consider this. Maybe for some reason, it was called unique but yes, as they are meme coins, I really felt confident with Shiba Inu, especially when talking about long-term investment.
Maybe in this question, Shiba got the huge vote but is not really considered the favorite coin for investment, unless we don't have any other options to pick.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October on: August 31, 2022, 11:53:45 AM
Seeing Loma and Haney in one ring would really be exciting though it will also be a big challenge for the both of them. Haney might really be the bettor favorite but I think Lomo would really show off his aggressiveness to beat down Haney. Loma vs Ortiz would be another opportunity for Loma to strengthen up his stamina in preparation for him to face Haney in the future.
This is my thoughts exactly. My money is on Lomachenko. For me, he possess the qualities of a good boxer. Unlike Ortiz, he has a better Boxing IQ and ring generalship. During the match, I expect that he’ll be able to pick up the pace to an intense level. This will in turn expose cracks in Ortiz ring IQ that should bring about mistakes in the ring. I see this match as a prep fight for Loma. The real deal is going to be with Haney.

I wouldn't bet my money against Lomachenko either because that's very unwise to do Grin
I also have no doubts that Lomachenko got this and he has the upper hand in this fight even if Oritz is younger and has the height and reach advantage. I'd say that those advantages that the latter have won't mean that much compared to Lomachenko's IQ in the ring. Also, there's a good probability that this fight could end in TKO/KO rather than a decision.

There are a lot of boxers that fought Lomachenko in their prime, with the height and reach advantage bust still lost to him. It just shows that Loma is really above those boxers, his trainer alone was un-orthodox, we haven't seen that kind of trainings before, it's not just his skills, but like the reaction time, it's just like watching Steph Curry doing his drills but not with a basketball, but some other training to improved his skill set, like decision making that why he has  big boxing IQ. Right, this fight could end in a TKO/KO and won't go to the judges scorecard.

He is one of the best in the boxing world, very entertaining to watch, and what I like about him is he does accept challenges and he proved most of the time that he is the best. Though he lost to Lopez, but if there's a chance they will have a rematch, I think Loma could win and maybe trilogy will happen.

Another close game, this time TNT takes the lead in the 1st half so that +3.5 takers should be calm now.  Smiley

Let's see if SMB will be able to bounce back in the 2nd half, but I think TNT is taking control here, they  have the better ball movement compared to the SMB.

I picked SMB to win by 11+ points live when I saw Castro was limping. If he really is injured, then I guess there's a chance that SMB will dominate the game. It's still too early though, the game is still close and I don't know what will happen, all I feel now is the excitement watching the game.
1392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to raise funding for trading? on: August 30, 2022, 12:21:37 PM
Honestly, it was hard to trust someone when it regards money this time. But I think any of your family members or someone from your friend could afford to help you and give some money in exchange for some percentage. I guess this is possible for this is good for everyone who is involved with this.
Just to continue what you are doing, keeping on track makes you succeed and gain enough money to start solely with your generated income. And in the future, you no longer ask for help as you can already provide yourself.

Aside from the fact that Indonesia defeated the Gilas in the SEA Games, let's also add that Japan ended the 12 year drought against us. They didn't defeat the PH for more than a decade and it ended in their last game when the PH lost. Who is the coach? Coach Chot. I just don't know why the SBP still keeping him even though Coach Chot already rendered a resignation letter to them already. Well, I just hope that a miracle will happen in the World Cup and we will have a different coach at that time. We still have a year to go to decide which coach will replace or worst, he might not get replaced.

SBP does want to piss the fans, in that game, people are booing chat, I hope they already see that as a sign that we don't want him coaching our strong roster. I mean, if we ever reach in the world cup, we need a level-up coach, not someone who are always criticized by the fans.

I miss the old Gilas, the Romeo and Castro lineup, they are well coached.

LOL, why would they do that?

Maybe they cannot afford to pay a foreign coach, so they stick with Chot Reyes to coach the team. I think if that's the reason, then maybe at least hire the coach of Ginebra San Miguel, I believe he is way better than coach Chot Reyes, that's my personal opinion only.
We actually don’t know what’s happening with them and why they are still focused to Chot Reyes, maybe it left them with no choice and beside, Chot Reyes is still good in other ways, maybe that’s the thing they saw to Reyes. Well, whoever the coach is as long as we have those good players I believe we can still deliver, they just need a good chemistry and a good playing system, that can be discussed with the other staff. Let’s continue to support Gilas and give them the respected they deserve, they have more games to come too early to celebrate.

IMO, coaching staff is very important as we can always get good players. The current lineup that defeated the KSA is already a good roster, leaded by Clarkson, I think with better chemistry and coaching job, we could have won against Lebanon.

1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How should i diversify my crypto portfolio? on: August 29, 2022, 01:50:50 PM
Ethereum is not a bad or risky type of project to worry about But still, if you want to diversify your portfolio then BTC and BNB are best.
Bitcoin and binance are the best only for stable investment but not for how big profit that you will get it from investing on binance and bitcoin. ROI is too small for investment. He must also try to look at different field other than ethereum and bitcoin.
Bitcoin and ethereum are very mainstream investment in these days. Going to both for long term may be a good choice but not about going for short term investment.
Perhaps, it was the choice of the majority and I can't imagine why OP is trying to ignore it and curse them.
As we can see that despite the volatility of Ethereum, many people are still having the interest to invest and hold this for many years because they know holding this project is certainly profitable, unlike shitcoins and hyped projects.

Well, nothing to say about BNB, something it was worth enough to invest with. Keeping those on the top coins in the market is a good choice, can't deny it.
1396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dip, Dipper, Dippest on: August 29, 2022, 01:13:23 PM
UP and DOWN? Never get surprised about it and never ever think that pumps can be certain at these bearish moments of the market as it was really hard.
Well, I understand what you feel but somehow, we should be aware of the situation as well and become ready for everything. We just think that all of these ups and downs are unpredictable, of course, we can do predictions but never think it all be right, not at all times.
1397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu has no value and shouldn't be bought on: August 28, 2022, 11:16:48 PM
Shiba Inu or other meme coins seem to be just waiting for time to jump, if only relying on the community and motivating for buy and hold and expectations of 1000x profit in a short time then we must be vigilant, of course the risk is in our hands that make decisions.
That's true but in-line to the OP's post, Shiba Inu doesn't hold any value at all that's why it is classified as a memecoin. Therefore, buying these coins will just be a total waste of time as the rise and dumps of this coin is controlled by the whales and it's really hard to get along with its weather.

It is still encouraged to buy other altcoins in the market that is more profitable in the future and holds real value unlike Shiba Inue. But if you're that someone who would like to take some extra risk then I think this coin is exactly for you.
I'm not against Shiba Inu nor I don't encourage people to invest in this project knowing that it is still profitable if we are too wise enough to manage the situation. But yes, keeping in mind that manipulation can be a cause of our losses so, therefore, don't get attached too long with this project and sell them once you've got some profit. Long-term holding is not ideal for this project but I know that it is indeed profiting and this is the reason why many people still investing and accumulating this, we can't generalize meme coins.
1398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 26, 2022, 02:29:27 PM

Adrian Broner should have announced his retirement if he doesn't want to fight anymore After his loss to Manny Pacquiao he isn't the same anymore, he doesn't want to take a fight mostly, he sure is not the same Adrian Broner back then, in my opinion, or maybe I think he realised that he isn't really cut to fight Omar Figueroa Jr. anymore so he is making alibi so he can not fight him, and we can not persuade a fighter that doesn't want to fight anymore, he might have realized that he isn't on his prime anymore,

Nah, I think he got exposed by Marcos Maidana, after his first defeat in boxing, he seemed to have lost his ability to win, he is more talk than action in the ring, even in the fight with Pacman, he disrespected the champ, and though he won the fight although it was obvious that was hit more than he hits Pacman.
1399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: August 26, 2022, 02:06:05 PM
The Ancajas team will have to make significant adjustments for the upcoming fight with Martinez, since in the first fight Ankahas could not restrain Martinez's attacks and turn the tide of the fight in his favor and acted, as it seems to me, without initiative, I hope now he will have more motivation.

I think in the first fight, Ancajas failed to adjust since Martinez is just a replacement so the strategy that Ancajas works for months had been wasted.  So I think that is a fair enough reason to mess up on their first fight.  Even Pacquiao in his post-fight interview stating that he had trouble adjusting to Ugas during the fight shows how difficult it is for a boxer when there is a sudden change of opponent.  But I think this 2nd fight will be different since Ancajas has ample time to review and scout the opponent and create a sound strategy to beat Martinez.

Let's take that as a valid excuse, but if you look at the other side, Martinez could also use that as an excuse if he loses the fight. now, there are no more excuses because they are given a rematch if Ancajas think it's the adjustment that made him lose the fight, then for sure, he can make the right adjustment in this fight given he had plenty of time to prepare.
1400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 26, 2022, 12:03:24 PM
I believe that Chet just had a freak accident and it wasn't even his first year at all, dude got injured during the summer. So if he goes to gym, gets buffed and gets better physique until next season, then he will be much more ready. What people do not understand is that the difference between college and NBA help is a lot, and I mean like driving a regular car vs being on a rocket ship type of difference.

I am not saying he could have Giannis levels of difference, but I am sure he will get a bit more buff, just a bit. That's why I believe that we should be waiting for 2023-2024 season to start and he will look a lot more different and be a lot better.

With basketball as your profession, anyone could buff themselves up whenever they want it. Because they all have the focus to enhance themselves in every possible way unlike when you're still in college. These kids work hard to reach this far. Now, what they'll gonna do is to work harder than before as they just entered the league of the best basketball players in the world. So, yeah everyone is expecting for Chet to enhance his physical appearance and make it more solid.
This kid got potential as he has the skills of a guard and he still have a lot time in the NBA and a lot of time to improve. So, this 1 season he'll miss won't mean anything as long as he continue working regardless of the injury.

Aside for doing more extra efforts to became more better player they also need to do extra care since your potential will go into waste if you are injury prone player. And I guess the current injury accumulated by Chet is totally bad for his career since imagine how big the impact with it for not playing for his whole rookie season.

Not good because he was expected to have a great rookie, but we can never guess what will happen, basketball is a physical sport, injury could happen anytime. Well, if he will be out for the whole season, he just have to make sure he will do everything to start strong and make a name in the NBA.
