1401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: August 26, 2022, 02:06:05 PM
The Ancajas team will have to make significant adjustments for the upcoming fight with Martinez, since in the first fight Ankahas could not restrain Martinez's attacks and turn the tide of the fight in his favor and acted, as it seems to me, without initiative, I hope now he will have more motivation.

I think in the first fight, Ancajas failed to adjust since Martinez is just a replacement so the strategy that Ancajas works for months had been wasted.  So I think that is a fair enough reason to mess up on their first fight.  Even Pacquiao in his post-fight interview stating that he had trouble adjusting to Ugas during the fight shows how difficult it is for a boxer when there is a sudden change of opponent.  But I think this 2nd fight will be different since Ancajas has ample time to review and scout the opponent and create a sound strategy to beat Martinez.

Let's take that as a valid excuse, but if you look at the other side, Martinez could also use that as an excuse if he loses the fight. now, there are no more excuses because they are given a rematch if Ancajas think it's the adjustment that made him lose the fight, then for sure, he can make the right adjustment in this fight given he had plenty of time to prepare.
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 26, 2022, 12:03:24 PM
I believe that Chet just had a freak accident and it wasn't even his first year at all, dude got injured during the summer. So if he goes to gym, gets buffed and gets better physique until next season, then he will be much more ready. What people do not understand is that the difference between college and NBA help is a lot, and I mean like driving a regular car vs being on a rocket ship type of difference.

I am not saying he could have Giannis levels of difference, but I am sure he will get a bit more buff, just a bit. That's why I believe that we should be waiting for 2023-2024 season to start and he will look a lot more different and be a lot better.

With basketball as your profession, anyone could buff themselves up whenever they want it. Because they all have the focus to enhance themselves in every possible way unlike when you're still in college. These kids work hard to reach this far. Now, what they'll gonna do is to work harder than before as they just entered the league of the best basketball players in the world. So, yeah everyone is expecting for Chet to enhance his physical appearance and make it more solid.
This kid got potential as he has the skills of a guard and he still have a lot time in the NBA and a lot of time to improve. So, this 1 season he'll miss won't mean anything as long as he continue working regardless of the injury.

Aside for doing more extra efforts to became more better player they also need to do extra care since your potential will go into waste if you are injury prone player. And I guess the current injury accumulated by Chet is totally bad for his career since imagine how big the impact with it for not playing for his whole rookie season.

Not good because he was expected to have a great rookie, but we can never guess what will happen, basketball is a physical sport, injury could happen anytime. Well, if he will be out for the whole season, he just have to make sure he will do everything to start strong and make a name in the NBA.
1403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 26, 2022, 11:11:39 AM

Almost a win. Those who watched the game don't have to say anything against our squad. They do everything at their best, but
Lebanese really fought and defend their home-court pride!

At least this time the game is close, they need to make good adjustments next game, we cannot blame them because their chemistry is not that good. Some people are blaming coach Chot, well, I guess that's normal, as long as he stays with the Gilas as a coach, people will always see his mistakes.
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu has no value and shouldn't be bought on: August 25, 2022, 11:30:27 AM
You can throw all the negative and garbage talks about Shiba Inu OP but you can't stop people from believing and investing in this project. Because for me, I haven't found it wrong because even though Shiba Inu is a meme coin, however, it was to see that it is far different from the other meme coins. What we just need upon investing this is to avoid holding it long, sell them once it pumps, and just do buying during the dip in this way, you might be safe.
1405  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it advisable as a starter to engage in future trade? on: August 25, 2022, 10:47:11 AM
When I login to my trading App (Exchange), I do see an option for future trade and when try to give it a try, I will see a notification reading "Future trade can be very risky".
It was a question of how it goes like that without having an option on what kind of trading you want. As in this case, the site itself urges you to choose futures trading, and nothing more.

Is it advisable as a new trader to engage in future trade?
Not a wise choice either. I couldn't recommend doing this, especially if you are just about to learn to trade. Absolutely, it was riskier that any form of trading. have yourself start in spot trading until you gain enough knowledge and more experience as these are tools that help you in Futures trading.
1406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 24, 2022, 01:02:27 PM
Congratulations backers, I knew it, SMB would win and cover the point spread.

Now, going to the game 3, I think we can trust them to win or double if they'll lose. Such great chemistry they showed in this game, they really want to even the series and they did it well. As long as they can limit Mikey Williams, I guess their chance to win will increase.
1407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it profitable to invest in ApeCoin(APE)?? on: August 24, 2022, 10:28:09 AM
Even thought ApeCoin exists on the Ethereum blockchain, is it profitable? Huh Huh
I'm not sure how this project is going in the future but as long as it was active, profit can be possible. However, in this bear market situation, that seems too hard to make it, not even those coins that have a higher profitability rate. But for me, if we aim for a long-term investment, Apecoin couldn't be on my list. I'd see APE has been surging the last bull season but I think that was the last hype it made and this is due to heavy market competition.
1408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 23, 2022, 10:50:25 AM
Betting odds are out, we have a very intriguing betting spread in game 2.

SMB -4.5
TNT +4.5

It looks like it's screaming that we should take the TNT, with that, it convince me more that SMB will win in game 2, not only they'll win but I'm seeing an easy cover on the spread.
1409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Singapore is the second country to follow in El Salvador's footsteps, do you agr on: August 23, 2022, 10:09:05 AM
I'm quite familiar with Singapore. I agree with the news that if it's new, the agenda is still a long way to go if it's equalized with countries that adopt bitcoin legally. It will add weight if the legal umbrella they create themselves makes crypto more profitable in that country. strengthening. the positive impact may be that bitcoin will increase the daily transaction volume in liquidity and transaction density. I hope this kind of news can strengthen and will lead to a bullish market in Q4.
I want to see this become successful but yes, it takes more time to finally gain a major adoption to the people from Singapore. I hope they already have learned some lessons from what it happened to El Salvador making them more prepared and probably they already have a better strategy to make things went successful despite the slow adoption rate.
Likely, this could give a huge impact to the market demand but not I think this will lead to bullish, it was not enough to trigger such thing IMO.
1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will get more demand on: August 23, 2022, 09:20:13 AM
I agree with you, regarding the potential growth of ethereum demand. The value of ethereum may increase substantially because whales would be interested in the staking benefits ....
It was not the whales alone, but it was because many people are coming into crypto having an interest in Ethereum. It naturally gain higher demand knowing that this coin is worth investing and besides, it was the most recommended altcoins in the market, and it is not surprising anymore. Sooner, when the bull season comes we can definitely expect a price rally together with high demand.

as such we may have less dumping and since miners are no longer rewarded, this would also contribute to lesser dumping.
You got to be wrong with this mate, miners will gain rewards as long as there is continuous use and ETH transactions in the market. And definitely, this is won't affect the dumping case as it will happen no matter what we do.
1411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Started a 1k to 10k challenge in 20 days and it's going well! on: August 22, 2022, 10:42:57 PM
Started this 1k to 10k challenge in 20 days, Now I am thinking about getting into meme coins or nfts. Heard about dogechain but not sure how that sh* works, will have to check them out and get my money out before they get "HACKED"

Up 4.4k already on day 11
https://twitter.com/shorterprince/status/1560339398050414593

I hope you will know when the hack is about to come so you can pull out your money before it. But to ask you why to choose NFTs where it is to know that it was a shitcoins. You are really at risk of losing if you fail to withdraw/sell your NFTs early after the hype is over. I guess you need to diversify your plan and instead, go for valuable coins rather than these shitcoins.

Well, I hope you've gonna make it, and good luck with your challenge. It is still far from the targe.
1412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 22, 2022, 10:06:38 AM
Officially it went it, but you cannot blame some fans who think that it should not be counted.

ctto

That one looks not counted, but if you look at the video, it's very close, it's hard to tell, I think the PBA officials are too quick to conclude, they should have made a look several times before making a final judgment.
You can see that the board is not yet in red light. Yes it is zero but the board not yet in red. And if you review the video, it is really hard to determine.

The rule in PBA is "When it is inconclusive, the first call stands" and the first call was it is a basket. So it is counted.

Mind you, I am an SMB fan and I accept that they lost Game 1. Fans should move on too. It is just the first game and SMB has shown that they can have a big lead against TNT, only if they can protect it. SMB will adjust in Game 2 for sure, that is what I want to see. They can dominate TNT, with just a little adjustment.

We are not talking about moving on here, we are talking about the controversial winning shot of Castro. For some it's counted, while for others it's not, just like what I'm saying, the official decision was it's counted, but you cannot eliminate the speculation that some people think the officials made a mistake here.

Popular comments I read disagreeing with the officials' decision was, in 1.8 seconds Castro was able to dribble the ball twice and then pull up to shot, they believe the time is too short in order to execute it.
1413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 22, 2022, 08:10:33 AM
especially that controversial clutch shot by Jayson Castro that seals the win. Anyway, the result can't be changed. As long as we see a close game like that where refs are not ruining the game, at least, it's more entertaining to watch.
Only the fans are making it complicated, the shot gets in and that's the reality that can't alter the game's 1 result. People should move on to that shot.
It's a buzzer beater and that's not the only buzzer-beater shot that we've seen in our lives. Fans just really have to stop arguing and making it a big thing because it's really counted.
Officially it went it, but you cannot blame some fans who think that it should not be counted.

1414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transfer through Cell Phones Possible ? on: August 21, 2022, 10:35:18 PM
Bitcoin transfer needs internet that was the fact. Of course, the use of a cellphone is possible. There are a lot of Bitcoin applications available in play store for phone and already used by some individuals but yes, I really don't think it was safe knowing that phones have low security due to easy attacks and many application installed that contains malware. This option is not advisable especially if we plan to hold BTC and make this as a storing wallet.
1415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for altcoins ? on: August 19, 2022, 11:46:26 AM
If you are fine with Exodus wallet OP and never encounter any problems, you better stick to it or use this for huge amounts while using another wallet for the other altcoins.

Well, it was to know that online wallets are prone to hacking cases but using highly secured wallets like Exodus is ideal. But yes, can't just put everything is a single wallet address, it is way better to spread them at least we have some assurance of not losing it all in case our wallet got hacked.
1416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October on: August 19, 2022, 05:48:25 AM
I think Loma will win here, Jamaine Ortiz beat Jamel Herring who lose to Stevenson via KO. He might be a quality fighter but not yet on the level of Loma, Ortiz called himself as "The Technician", but Loma is actually more than a technical boxer, so I guess that Ortiz will be in big trouble.
1417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 19, 2022, 05:04:36 AM
Chot already won a championship when he comes back coaching in the PBA, but this time it's different as we have a healthy JMF.

Indeed, this would not be an easy one as we've seen in their last meeting where SMB was able to limit Mikey Williams and beat them with a huge margin, if they can do that again, well, I would say that SMB has a better chance of winning and JMF might win a BPC and Finals MVP.
TNT might be the underdog here but of course we should give credit to their good players as well and I can say that they can really have a good showdown with SMB. They just need to limit JMF and other key players of SMB, also they should be more active in their offensive strategy. JMF can still deliver greatness and I'm so excited to watch them again now that they are back in the finals. TNT vs SMB will surely be an exciting match, any odds now for this?
There is no underdog this time IMO. We are in the finals already and TNT is also the champion last Philippine Cup so I rather see SMB as the underdogs here but we are in the Finals already so I don't see any underdogs now Smiley.

TNT can limit JMF because they have Erram as well as Kelly Williams to defend the paint and they also have Marcelo as their back-up big. These 2 teams are the top teams in terms of offense so we might see a high scoring series here and I believe that whoever gets the pace quicker and will control the game first wins. Let's also take note here that in the series of SMB-Meralco, whenever the SMB had a lead in the first quarter, they won the game except in Game 6 where the Bolts made a miracle comeback. On the other hand, the TNT is capable in making huge runs and even though their opponent has a double digit lead. I might make a bet on each game if I have a spare money Cheesy.

Well, I like SMB to be the underdog so the odds will be attractive. It's hard to predict, to be honest, and I believe that this series will reach game 7 which is good as it will entertain the fans. They are evenly matched, however, based on experience, I think TNT is more experience as some of the starters of SMB are just new to the team.
1418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be a Bitcoin believer on: August 18, 2022, 12:54:14 PM
Bitcoin builds some trust after hitting the first rally which gives a surprise to the people. Now, many people make assumptions that it is a profitable investment and perhaps right. Becoming a Bitcoin believer is not hard especially if you are an open-minded person and are neutral between the negative and positive sides of Bitcoin. I was into that level coz I know that Bitcoin is helping me a lot and a lot more in the future. I can't be wrong with this nor it was a wrong decision but that's it.
1419  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: August 18, 2022, 12:16:23 PM
According to TA the market has now moved into bull season and it's the right time to buy and hold so that you don't miss the next bull run. Above 24000$ Bitcoin is bullish. And market is started moving upwards already.
Of course, it will move and changes its course to Bullish season but it was not the time. Never get fooled by the few pumps that happen in the past few days and say it was Bullrun already. We also have to think that it can be possible during the bear season, however, it was too different when compared to the bullish season, you can really see a significant and continuous market pump, unlike what we currently experience. That is still too far from being bullish.
1420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 18, 2022, 09:29:24 AM
Jesus christ, 50 million a year give or take, which I am sure is still good money for Lebron even though he must worth like a billion already, maybe more. I am guessing that he will definitely pick up the player option, but it all depends on where his kid will go. I guess Bronny looks as solid as it gets for a candidate, both a legacy which is like the biggest we can think, but also a solid top 60 draft pick for sure even without the dad (well he wouldn't be this good without his dad lol). So all in all, I am guessing that if Lakers gets Bronny then Lebron stays, if not then Lebron may leave to wherever drafts Bronny for sure.

Looks like LeBron will most likely retire a Laker on that contract. The extension also makes him the new highest paid career earner in NBA history, passing Kevin Durant. In another two years I’m not sure if LeBron will still be able to be healthy and play at a high level, but he’ll probably have the option to sign another deal if he wants to. I’m sure LeBron is celebrating tonight…

That's a huge amount of money, that will increase his wealth being one of the richest NBA players in the world. Well, he deserved that because he is the king, may not be the best player in the NBA now but his leadership is very effective as long as he is healthy and can play.
