1301  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we heading towards recession ? on: October 09, 2022, 10:42:17 PM

How can we make sure to survive the fall ?
-The current ups and downs in cryptocurrencies have certainly made it hard to breathe for the investors
-What can we do to make sure we survive the whole economic recession? ( Certainly don't put all your money in the banks )

Read the full article here : https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.zeebiz.com/economy-infra/world-economy/news-world-could-lose-4-trillion-in-economic-output-between-now-and-2026-worth-size-of-german-economy-imf-202209/amp

It is hard to accept the recession but this is really what we have now. And I see how it has shaken the global economic situation but has no reason to become weak and losses hope.  Just like how the previous bear season, we were almost down and think mostly negative but it was very fortunate to see a huge bounce back after a long bear season. And I'd learn not to think about it but rather give focus to what we can do in our life today and in the future as we have nothing to do with the recession but to remain calm and go straight to what we aim for.
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 07, 2022, 02:12:39 PM
This time it's against Paul Butler, it's no use thinking that he will win because that won't happen even if Inoue is feeling bad or ill in the day of their fight. I know Inoue is not that kind of boxer who underestimates his foe but it's too clear that Butler won't stand a chance especially if we are talking about withstanding punches, he can't survive that.

The level of confidence from the fans of Inoue is very high, well, we cannot blame the fans because Butler won't be a champion if Casimero was not stripped with his belt, so now, he is getting all the kind of underestimation, and hopefully he will see that as a challenge and will try to prove that we are wrong.

It's indeed a huge challenge for Butler because the majority of the boxing fans do not believe he has a shot of beating the monster Inoue. Butler has to double his training, not only improve his running style, but he also needs to improve his power because if Inoue cannot feel his power, well, what can we expect, Inoue will just continue to be aggressive and will look for a KO.
1303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: October 07, 2022, 01:24:32 PM

Finally, odds are up and i'm good with the ML but i'll be pushing the bet button 12 hours before the fight, there might be significant changes by that time.

Looks very attractive, I'm sure I'm going to put a decent amount on Ancajas to win. The odds now are the opposite of the first match, so maybe Ancajas will try to be better and win this fight, good luck to us mate.

Yes, that's for sure! Ancajas is fortunately listed as an underdog by the bookies, although I wasn't really surprised of that fact, but this is indeed a good opportunity and advantage for us who believes in him that he can reclaim his belt this time. Tomorrow is the fight, right? Anyway, thanks for sharing mate.

I guess Ancajas is going to be more technical in this fight, he cannot fight like he did in their first meeting, that if he want to have a good chance of winning. Ancajas still has good future, but this is a very important fight and he has to win this, so I'm going with that underdog odds, certainly gonna take it.

Therefore you should pick Ancajas by Decision which is 6.80.

If Ancajas will go toe to toe against the champ and he will still gas out in the later rounds, most likely the fight will end in KO and the odds for that is 4.20 if you will bet on Martinez.

Also, this "DRAW" is very attractive, it is 16.00 currently/
1304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The sole difference is capital. on: October 06, 2022, 12:52:04 PM
We can't over look the importance of having a good capital but there are other factors to making profits in the market too. Capital merely serves as an amplifier to wait you could make out of one good trade even after losing several and also, could amplifier your getting off trading for good.

There are those who have come by this capital and sure don't know what to do with it and there are others who have got this capital but just can't put it to work due to the risk factor they see, heard or probably experienced in trading the crypto market.

Capital might be the amplifier but, there are a lot more other factors that betters its stands as an advantage.
When it comes to business and investments, capital really matters as it somehow influences the results and product of what we did. We can say that huge capital = huge profit is possible, but also we can also say it has a huge chance to lose them all if mismanaged. Well, I'd see the advantage of having huge amounts but yes, it was very important to manage it well for this is the only way to protect from losing it all.

Huge capital + hard work = success
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: October 06, 2022, 11:16:05 AM
You can ask OP to make a poll on this particular fight, for sure it will be a very close race and I'm not certain who will win although we already have an idea on the betting odds of this fight. Well, both are champions, since Spence is also very confident, then maybe betting on himself will probably give him more money.

I think most people here are looking forward to Terence Crawford winning the match because they think Spence Jr. is a coward and this fight should happen a long time now, not realizing that it's not actually Spence should they blame why this match takes too long to become official.

Although moving forward, we should not bring up the past as this fight is now closer to happening compared to before when it was just a plan.

We will only know that if there's a poll, I notice that most of us here are rooting for Crawford but there are voters that are not participating in the discussion, so that poll is really important for us to know the heart of the majority.

Spence Jr is a coward? maybe, but he is still undefeated, in fact, he has more belts than Crawford and he just wants to dictate the fight negotiation.

I'm not sure if this fight is gonna happen, but if not, we know who's to blame I guess.  Smiley

Including me, I have no doubt that Crawford have the higher hand here compared to Spence and he's likely going to win. Crawford is fearless and doesn't really care that much whom he will face next, as long as you're in the way or you're a belt holder, sooner or later you will have your chance to fight Crawford because he's aiming for legacy and not for money fights.

Although this time around, Crawford is demanding or asking the opposite camp to be transparent and that may be the reason why the fight has been delayed to December or January.

That can be used as an excuse though, it's not good because it will only make the fight delayed or worst not gonna happen due to a fighter so demanding. They have terms to agreed on, if they'll not agree in all the terms, then it's safe to assume that no fight is gonna happen, our job of hyping this fight is going to be useless.
1306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 06, 2022, 10:19:27 AM
I do know about the problems Casimero is having above and outside the ring which caused him to be striped off his title and allowed Butler to have this chance against Inoue, however this is not the problem of Inoue, Inoue can only fight against opponents that will definitely show up the day of the fight and with the right weight, and right now this seems to be beyond the capabilities of Casimero, so he has lost at the moment his opportunity to face Inoue.
He lost the opportunity because he has no belt anymore, that time when he was still a champion, Inoue did not accept his challenge despite Casimero was already trashtalking him, so as a fan, I feel we got rob to witness a great fight which I think is gonna happen.

yeah, I was then in an impression that since Inoue already saw those trash talks online, he will or his camp will accept the challenge,

Sadly, Casimero is unable to keep his belt due to his weight and now he doesn't have any and he needs to start
from the beginning and impress the fans back. We can't conclude the possibilities, as maybe fate will bring
them together inside the same ring, just don't wanna see another Pacquiao-Mayweather scene.
The fight pursues when Pacquiao already switches religion/faith, just in my opinion he's no longer the
same one like he was before after that changeup..

I'm thinking maybe Inoue is dodging him, I mean, if he really wants to fight him, why did he did not make the fight after it was postponed due to covid-19, after that panic, slowly fans are already allowed to watch the boxing live, but still, he did not give him a chance.

You might be right but it's not anymore relevant now because Casimero is not anymore a champion, and Inoue will soon become an undisputed champion. Well, let's wait til this fight happen, if Inoue will move up, then most likely he will be able to fight with Casimero, so let's just be optimistic.
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market? on: October 05, 2022, 12:25:22 PM
I find nothing interesting in asking these two market movement because while others is waiting for Increase? others are expecting decrease .

Some wanted to Buy, while others wanted to sell.

I myself had been in the situation that I wanted to buy so looking for bear market , but after several time I am seeking for Bull market because I badly needed funds and need to sell .
That's how the volatility of the market increases badly and it can no longer be changed just like how people think it will become stabilized.
Now that I was currently buying Bitcoin, then I just hoping for a price increase in order to make some profit but guess what, the market seems never to give me some favor, and maybe because many investors are also asking for the price to drop more.
That is the funny thing in crypto and we surely still see the market is moving up and down.
1308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental or Technical Analyst. Which one are you? on: October 05, 2022, 12:10:02 PM
I chose to trade with the fundamentals the way it suits me because I don't have enough time to look at the charts all day long. In the past I have tried with technical analysts but the results were even worse because I was confused and not focused on having to divide my time with my work.

This is a surprising how you can just trade the market without watching on the chart at least for some time. The crypto market doesn't have a timeline for news whixh is fundamental if you actually understand it to be news, so how are you able to do that?
To be a better trader you may not use both strategy of fundamental and technical but you can have knowledge of them. For example trading on binance, you don't have any form of news or fundamental table sort of but you definitely can follow the waves and chart of the coins.
Absolutely, if we would like to make a profit in trading, it is a must to learn and use these strategies. Because we can never see good results if we are just guessing the market and we use to check the market trend or chart because it was our basis for our analysis and we really need this.
It is our advantage to have them both and see our success because the truth is that traders had spent a lot of time doing TA and FA in order to gain profit, not losses.
1309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 05, 2022, 08:42:49 AM
Brooklyn Nets starting to look like a fun team to watch again.
The first five are Irving, Durant, Claxton, Simmons, and Harris. I am just glad to see them all back and healthy again. Harris is feeling it who made 2 threes in 15 minutes.
Simmons defensive help can be seen and Irving being a playmaker will be a game changer for them.
The 2nd team looks solid too with Patty Mills, Edwards, Morris, Royce O'Neale, and Sumner. Seth Curry didn't play yet.
A win for the 76ers without Harden and Embiid. Their roleplayers are pretty solid too.

I'm glad that we are finally seeing a healthy and complete Brooklyn Nets in the opening season. I am not a fan of Kyrie and Simmons anymore but I love this season to be more competitive, I want all the teams to possibly compete well so I like what I am seeing with the Nets. Kyrie should understand that the world doesn't revolve around him. The Nets would be a serious contender if they can set all their egos aside and work on their chemistry. I want to see KD's remaining NBA years fruitful even if doesn't mean a title rather than staying in a mediocre team.

There's still a big question though, can they be consistent until the end of this season? We both know that they are capable of destroying any team that is on their way, but we also know that the Nets weakness is also their own players. The big three is a threat to any team in the league if they will work as a team. Nonetheless, it's been good seeing them again playing together as team. I just hope that they will be consistent so that we can see an interesting season this time.

As long as they are healthy, I'm pretty sure they'll be consistent. I hope that they already build good chemistry as that is the most important thing for this team to work. Durant, Irving, and Simmons, these are superstars, so it's just normal that we have a high expectation on this team.
1310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: October 05, 2022, 08:22:18 AM

I'm not a fan of Davis though but it's undeniable that he's more talented and his IQ in the ring exceeds Ryan's and Shakur because of the experience he got. What an interesting division, so packed with strong and undefeated boxers.

I'm a fan of Davis, and also a fan of Ryan Garcia, I think things will be different once they are in the ring, and I believe that Ryan Garcia has the advantage due to his height and reach, and take note, he is also quick.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does new projects succeed in bear on: October 04, 2022, 12:38:40 PM
Something important i would love to know, recently just go through the bounty sections and found lots of project running bounty's which implies  marketing. Do you think the marketing is important to do as of now since the dip have gradually affected many people around the cryptospace.

Marketing is a way to introduce their products and services which I believe this is very effective in all businesses. Good market strategy usually gains a lot of returns and business profit but a long with this, the company/project developer must also be true to what they been spread during their marketing otherwise, instead of gaining more investors this will make them leave.
And this is certainly a helping tool especially during this bear season but of course, as an investor, we don't rely on it but have to check the background of a particular in order to have assurance than regrets later.
1312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: October 04, 2022, 12:05:24 PM
It is precisely those who do not have a personal strategy in trading are those who enter the world of trading carelessly.
Having a personal strategy in trading will not guarantee consistent profits but it will allow us to learn every mistake made and be disciplined in trading so that it can reduce losses.
There are way too many people who do that, and that's the reason why there are more people losing money on trading than earning. There is a minority that is making all the money, and a majority who keeps on losing, and if someone leaves, another newbie takes their place and veterans take their money one by one.

If you know what trading is like, and if you have a working understanding of the trading indicators and charts, then you will know what to do and you will be able to make a profit. However, if you are a newbie and just trade stuff because you feel like it, or you read it somewhere on twitter, %99 chance you are going to lose all your money.
But I think newbies are prone to losses and that is because they really don't know what to do first. That is why it is not new for me to hear newbies got loss in trading but I see this as a sort of their improvement. And this will also help them to realize that trading is hard and risky if we don't have any idea about this and to follow someone is a little bit easier for them. Well, the idea is somewhat good for a beginner but never think of relying upon others forever as to make our own strategy is supposed to be the best thing to do.
1313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does everyone want bitcoin to be stable in price? on: October 03, 2022, 10:39:21 PM
The majority of the people will want volatility, because they are speculators and hoarders ...seeking profits for their investments. They do not care that retailers and shops that accept Bitcoin as a payment option, wants less volatility.
Yes, it was a big opposite if you are a retailer and those who accept Bitcoin as payment. But as traders and investors, this is the reason why they are here and living with this as the volatility of its price makes them more profitable.
Quote
Some of the early Bitcoiners will tell you that low volatility are good for Bitcoin as a "Currency" ...because shops and customers does not want to deal with extreme volatility when they pay for goods and services. (Just imagine how shops have to display their prices for their goods... if the price goes up and down every second.)  Roll Eyes
But I think, we can't change how the market looks, and the volatile nature of Bitcoin will even more volatile as the trade volume also grows. Whether we like it or not, this is what really happens in a decentralized market. And I understand why only a few people have the courage to accept Bitcoin as payment and we can't please others to do as well.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should I invest in other than bitcoin? on: October 03, 2022, 10:07:23 PM
In which coin should I invest money other than bitcoin? Because bitcoin has been the most profitable And what will be the future of the other coin, will it increase or not, then you guys can tell. Thanks in advance
I know there are a lot of options and potential coins out there but we should be smart enough when choosing them. Choosing Bitcoin together with ETH is something enough to hold and certainly have no regrets about doing this. I don't discourage people to look for other altcoins, however, if we are looking for something to hold for the long term, these two coins are the best option.

Well, you can pick any of the top 10 altcoins in the market but never take them all, 3-5 coins are enough, just accumulate more of them, though.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 03, 2022, 02:32:42 PM

As typically for camps, they'll say that they'll have the better stance on the fight night. But, like what everyone is telling that it's gonna be hard for Butler but easy for Naoya.

Obviously, no need to contest that because Inoue is the heavy favorite to win, and the odds are based on the perception of the people which bookmakers do only make a few mistakes on that. Though surprises happened in the sports of boxing, it's highly unlikely that Butler will win.

Bet on Inoue via KO, this will not last long for sure.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: October 03, 2022, 01:25:14 PM
Looking forward to Jerwin Ancajas being in good condition in this fight. The preparation time is well enough for him to be in a state like that. Martinez on the other hand is also the same. He already knows the drill and he will just do the same strategy against Ancajas.

If Ancajas will lose this rematch, it's clear that he really can't come close to the power of Martinez.

But he was able to deal with Martinez power in the first fight, it's that he was really outgun by looking at the numbers. Which mean he didn't let his hands go and allow Martinez to control the fight. So I will say that Ancajas has more power than Martinez, but he needs to land that and not just hesitant to pull the trigger.

But in any case they have seen their mistakes that's why they activated the rematch clause already, expect a different Jerwin to really push Martinez and I wouldn't be surprised if he is successful this time.

I don't know if he has more power than Martinez because he was the one who was so tired in that fight, and he was not able to hit Martinez with the heavy shots. He lose his stamina in short, that cannot happen again if he wants to win, as he needs to convince the judgest that he was the one controlling the fight.

The winner has more power, Ancajas made an excuse which is not good, what he has to do is just continue training, and be at his best in the rematch, that way he will have a big chance of getting back what he loss. I believe most of us here believe that Ancajas will win, well, it's our chance to bet on him as for sure he will be the underdog in the betting sites.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Generate Profit in this bear time? on: October 02, 2022, 10:19:15 PM
In many days i see in my port filo 5$ up and 5$ down , what is the best strategy to increase profit?
Trading is what you need in order to generate income almost every day. Well, I say almost that is because not all the time is in profit, sometimes we also lose. But have to keep in mind that trading is riskier than just holding and waiting for the price increase and also if you don't have knowledge about this. Considering in your situation, you'd better just hold and learn first how the market is working. You can't just simply think that after buying there is an instant profit for this is not really happening. Most of the time we need to be patient.

1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 30, 2022, 02:05:35 PM
But unfortunately they got all bashing from their supposed to be fans and people are losing interest to watch every game. We can feel it actually by their attendees also they are not gaining any sympathy towards the action they do because we all know that what's happening there is pure politics and only those big companies are benefiting while the independent ones are suffering. If they cannot change their system maybe for sure we can see the full collapsed of PBA and fans is starting to move on since there is MPBL which is I think the fans favorite at the moment since it represent the city not the company as what I read in the comments in social media.

Let's not let it happen that leads to the collapse of the PBA, it has been popular in the field of basketball here in our country for decades. I really hope that the system going on in the PBA will be fixed early, because sometimes the high-ranking ones get involved in money-for-money.

the quality of each team's game if I compare it back in the 90's is very different from today.

It's not us, it's them, they need to find a way to make this PBA great again. With the numbers of basketball league in the Philippines, I doubt they will stay as king forever if they will not change their old system, no team or team owners should dictate a certain league, and IMO that's what happened with the PBA.

I'm sure they are already alarmed with what is happening, slowly the star players of the PBA are getting recruited outside, so if they will not act, they will be short of star players that would make the league exciting and that would help to represent the country in international games.

Their actions are preventing the players from going abroad to play, that's soo greedy and it does not send a good message to our basketball superstars. Preventing them to grow is a sign of dictatorship, no way they'll listen to that.

Northport is really making noise. Robert Bolick is on fire. If only their import is dominant, I can tell that Northport can beat Bay Area Dragons for their rematch.

But anyways, no rematch as the elimination is a single round-robin. I hope to see them meeting at the post-eliminations.

Just wait until Northport's import Prince Ibeh will be ripe and I see this team might be one of the competitors of SMC and MVP teams in the playoffs.

I'm happy that Bollick is healthy again, he missed plenty of games in the past but he come back strong playing like a real MVP contender.

The quality of Bollick as a player could fit on the demand in the B Leauge, hopefully he will not leave like what Matthew Wright did.

Showing off one's money and accomplishments has suddenly become socially acceptable. People nowadays, particularly on social media, display their wealth and extravagant luxury.

Doing this attracts hacker and make you become their next target. We'd supposed to keep anonymous if possible and keep our wallets out from the sight of others to avoid interest. I know that they are just proud of their achievements but for now, as hackers are increasing, we have to be cautious enough as this was also for our safety.

As we can see, huge investors and rich people hide on social media because they wanted peace of mind and yes, they wanted space from these hackers.
