1361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That's why I really like bitcoin :) on: September 13, 2022, 12:34:21 PM
There are very few people who don't like Bitcoin these days. Because when you invest, the amount of wealth increases, that wealth is saved and in original way you will understand that Bitcoin is a priceless asset. Although many of you have moved from gold trading to bitcoin investing and the benefits are doubling. Trust yourself when you engage in such activities continues to gain and it has become widely popular. Bitcoin is a well-known coin

Honestly I don't really care about how people value bitcoin, whether positive or negative, at least everyone is not too subject to the current reality, and in the crypto world there are no rules and are free to own it without being regulated by their government, because that's a lot of people who switch to digital assets, where they can store their assets as they please, so don't be surprised by the growth of bitcoin every year, and it will continue to grow over time...
You have noticed the changes and people are adapting to new technology which is more preferred than fiat money especially if we are too busy in life that has limited time to go to the bank. It means that this idea has been welcome in the community and more people are able to move their assets into digital currencies like Bitcoin. It is to see that Bitcoin gives a huge change in the community in regards to their lifestyle and of course, an opportunity to make investments.
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep or sell ethereum before the merge? on: September 13, 2022, 11:42:34 AM

Selling ETH is too risky as it is unlikely that it will be dumped afterward, it will most likely bounce and be at a higher price than it is now. It's all speculation, nothing is certain it will happen.
I'd never say it was risky but selling our Ethereum is literally a wrong decision. We haven't any clue yet how this fork will affect the price of ETH but for me, this never has a huge impact on it. The FUDs seem it was spreading making some investors to felt worried about the incoming merge and likely thinking negatively. And this will affect mentally, especially those who still live in doubt about the capability of ETH and beginners.
But anyways, I let people/investors make their decision to sell and also for them to know more about Ethereum.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: September 13, 2022, 04:08:02 AM

So it's bad to stay in a weight division wherein you can't really make weight, another example is Casimero. he wanted to fight Inoue so he stayed in that division and in the first scheduled fight against Butler, he fell ill. And in the second one, he was caught with the Sauna thingy.

He was already struggling to keep the required weight, it's just too bad for Casimero as he was caught cheating, he could have just move up and be the number 1 contender to fight the champion. For Ancajas here, there's still one more chance for him to avenge his loss, if he wins here, people will stop doubting him, if he losses, then no choice for him but to move up.

Speaking of Casimero, I wonder what is he up to now because he should at least make some statement that he will climb through the next weight class because it was already clear that bantamweight is not for him anymore and fight this year too because he was already 1 year inactive last August. Anyway back to this fight, I think it's time for Ancajas to move too if he is truly struggling to make the required weight in this division but for now, he should try and settle his score first against Martinez before deciding what he should do next.

It's been a while that we are not hearing from him, maybe he is just preparing for a big fight in his comeback, not a championship fight but everytime he is in the ring, it's always entertaining as long as his opponent is willing to fight. He should move on from his mistake, he cannot go back in bantamweight again as he cannot control his weight, so it's time for him to move on by moving up.

There's no news about him, but you can follow his youtube channel to get some information from him.
Quadro Alas it’s my boy

I'm sure he will not quit boxing, he is still a good contender, he just has to continue working out to prepare for his next fight.

About the fight of Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas, are the betting odds already available?
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 13, 2022, 03:24:25 AM
This is the major loophole of the league since without these two big companies PBA will die since they are the one who's major contributor of the league so expect that commissioner or big bodies on the league cannot do anything once those companies target some good players outside or even on other team.

Because of that, we should hope that new big companies will soon join the PBA that can offer good salaries like San Miguel Corporation and MVP groups.

Adding to that, expect new rookies that will land on independent teams to be improved while they can and can become a rising stars and in the future, reach the All-Star or Superstar level. Not all good players can be signed to top companies. PBA is lacking good players, in general, that's why good talents are only limited to a few teams and are usually seen in top teams because of a much better contract offered by these companies.

That's up to the officials of the PBA, if they are willing to add more teams, that would be more exciting because I'm pretty sure many big companies will be interested to join, and at the same time, they'll be able to make PBA be the most entertaining basketball league in the Philippines.

Right now, looks like some leagues are getting some attention, it was supposed to be PBA getting most of the attention, I mean like 90%, but due to some speculation and a set up that has not been change, people are starting to look for other leagues.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This makes sense or not? on: September 12, 2022, 10:06:31 PM
Hi Fam, I am new to crypto investment and crypto mining, I have a plan in mind with this upcoming merge, just tell me if it's bad or not, I plan to sell all my bags after the merge because I believe there will be a massive sell off, and I will buy back at a lower price, is this making sense or not.
It really makes sense if you are in profit but if you are doing this because you are worried and in order to save from losing more, that is a wrong decision. I suggest for you to analyze the market trend first and see what will happen during this merge because we are still uncertain about it. But if you are right about what you have felt, then I would say go for it and support your decision. Taking some profit out from the volatility of the market is really a good idea and losing such an opportunity is a big mistake.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 12, 2022, 02:40:39 PM
Sure they are already finding ways to find the weakness of Canelo, and since Canelo lose on his previous fight, then I guess they know already the weakness of Canelo. However, this is a different fight though as GGG is not Bivol, and Canelo won the previous fight against him, so it's still a tough challenge.

We can assume that GGG's camp already watched the Canelo-Bivol fight to make it a reference to their planned strategy but not to the point they will create a new one just designed specifically for Canelo. They watched it to just see how it turned out that Bivol was able to give a touch match to Canelo.

Finding Canelo's weakness is not making sense. Why find the weakness as a priority instead of just improving what GGG is capable of, which is his strength. Look at how Bivol just does his usual boxing style against Canelo. Even GGG is not Bivol as you mentioned, the same logic applies.

We will find out soon if GGG has really designed a plan to improve, otherwise, he will again fail and there's no reason for the right to happen again. More like it's his last chance to prove that judges in the past made a wrong decision not making him the winner, so the pressure here is not only on Canelo but also on GGG as well.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 12, 2022, 01:50:07 PM
The Road Warriors franchise is for sale, multiple sources told SPIN.ph.

Yes, saw this news a while ago.

According to @HomerSayson - The NLEX franchise is for sale as per his multiple sources.
According to @InsideThePBA - The NLEX franchise is NOT for sale as per one of the executives in the MVP Group. Homer is not credible, they add lol.

Either way, I don't mind that thing. It will open for a more independent team and that is what matters for a balanced league.

That will be the result, it will become a balanced league and not only the popular teams will be playing in the finals. Also, it will eliminate the rumors that some teams are just farm teams of the stronger teams, so overall it's good for the league.

I think we just have to wait for the announcement, but good thing there are rumors.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: September 09, 2022, 11:48:16 AM
Is it possible to invest 100$ in altcoin and turn to 7,000$? Have this ever happened to anyone on here? Is this even possible?.
It is indeed not possible in the long run but the question is if you can wait for that long, let's say 5 or 10 years?

Perhaps, there are ways how to reach that amount,
 - holding - well of course it will take so long
 - investing hyped project - can be possible in short-time but the risk is too high
 - trading - that only of you are really good at this

But keep in mind that being greedy is not good and most of the times this it cause losses.
1369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: stop loss and take profit on: September 09, 2022, 10:45:45 AM

And is it possible with the sell limit orders in bitget to open a trade that is like a bybit stop loss?

also last question it seems that is not possible to do trailing stop loss in bitget spot, right?
I hope that you were able to explore that particular exchange before using this because even me, that name Bitget is really new to me or my focus is just on known and reputable exchanges like Binance and Kucoin.
Well, I hope you could find an answer to that but I encourage you to even know more about this exchange. However, even you will say it is already on its feature, I have to say that I give no interest in this site as I'd rather stay to the exchanges that I feel secured.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 09, 2022, 03:31:58 AM
Of course this is mere speculation, because I have a lot of faith that it will be done, also September is a very good month to square the best world events in sports and give great joy to all fans and bettors.

Soon we will be down to the last quarter, if there's no announcement this month regarding the final date of the fight, then it's safe not to assume anymore that this fight is gonna happen this year. I know it's a big fight and we all want to see this, however, if they did not agree with the terms, then hyping this is just useless after all.
1371  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto business isn't for everyone on: September 08, 2022, 12:22:34 PM
The idea of having a crypto business makes people think that they can easily make money out of this and then become rich instantly. But unfortunately, it was not the thing we were likely to experience, perhaps managing a business like this is pretty hard and even more risky than other forms of investment.

crypto investment welcomes everyone who would like to try but guess what, only a few have survived and become successful while many suffer regrets and losses. If we really have the motivation and courage, that was not impossible to succeed.
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's biggest flops are now pumping ? But why?! on: September 08, 2022, 10:19:28 AM
One should avoid investing in such projects because the risk factor of loss is high. There are groups that pump and dump the coins I think a similar group must have got the coin pumped I feel the pump will not be long-lasting and it's not a sensible decision to invest in such projects.
Definitely, this is just a trap.
It is too risky to go along with this situation, putting money into unrealistic pumps and projects, I can really imagine how we lose our money. Well, I encourage holders to sell their Terra Luna if there is one and not invest in them again. We can't hide the fact that nobody was able to expect such a market spike without any reason. Something really fishy around this situation and you probably got it mate, this won't stay long. Might be seeing this surprising increase will turn into a huge decline leading to its dead.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 08, 2022, 07:54:12 AM

Not sure what advantage Butler has in this fight, and if I'm not mistaken the fight will be held in Japan? And yeah, Inoue is known to be a body puncher so once he time Butler coming in with either hand not tuck in his body, for sure Inoue will make it sure that he hit him with power to knock him out by just one body punch.

The only advantage of Butler here is on the height comparison, he is 5′ 6″ while Inoue is 5′ 5″, but it's not a big deal because, for Inoue, he can make his opponent vow down, Donaire was even taller with 5′ 7" but he did not last against the monster Inoue.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 08, 2022, 06:17:30 AM
Former Sixth man of the year Montrezl Harrell signed with the Philadelphia 76ers for 2 years. I'm liking Philly even more with this new acquisition. If James Harden returns this season fit and brings back his good old years then this team is serious to reach the top. It can compete against the Celtics and the Bucks in the eastern conference. I expect Miami Heat to slow down this season after losing Tucker and not acquiring anything material in return. Miami will have a hard time repeating as the number 1 winningest team in the east with its rival teams taking some big moves with their line-ups.
There's a chance actually and that's if Victor Oladipo can get back his former game. Then, Duncan Robinson the glass cannon, making him tougher should be one of their focus. Those are their weaknesses, for now, they lack backup players that would substitute for Butler and Bam Adebayo if they need a breather.
IMO, Miami Heat is still a strong team with Bam dominating the painted area and refining his shooting skills. That pair must not be underestimated yet and they have young players who are playing better and it showed last season.

The lineup is good but it's not enough to win a championship, look how they struggled against a young Celtics. I think Butler is not a superstar that has a championship caliber, well, there's still one season for him to prove the doubters wrong, so they need to win the championship as this could be their last chance.
1375  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammer get scammed on: September 07, 2022, 11:40:55 PM
Scammer get scammed

This remind me of what happened in compound last two months or there about. A boy in my compound was drinking in Ogogoro or Ekaikai (gin) and he met a young guy and this my neighbor approached him to learned learn how to scam people and the boy told him he has to buy some devices to kick start the project. so this my neighbor took the boy to a phone shop (store) and bought a new device for the boy. The following day, early morning my neighbor went to work. And the boy who want to teach my neighbor how to scam packed everything in house and ran away, when my neighbor came from work his house empty. And that was the time he become to realized that he has been scammed and he burst into cry. he was crying and saying that he has been scammed then we asked him how did it happened? and he started narrating what conspired (brought) both of them together. After his narration everyone who heard the story left him behind to face his dilemma. That became the saying of the op topic.
Perhaps, it was a common story and it was a very usual thing to happen to realize that we just got scammed too late.
 - Don't easily trust strangers
 - stop being greedy
 - think several times before we decide

However, people even forget all of these things, especially when hearing about money and scammers use this technique to trick greedy people. It was really sorry but it was a need for them also to realize their wrongdoings.
1376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 07, 2022, 01:28:10 PM
On the other hand, I saw some rumors again that MVP team coaches will be shuffled. I don't know how and why but looking on how Coach Luigi Trillio coached the Bolts when Coach Norman Black is still out, I'm guessing that he might be the new coach of NLEX but we don't know since there are no news coming out yet on who will be the next coach of the Road Warriors. Any insights?

Most probably, NLEX does need an experienced coach because they always fall short of their target to be a championship team. However, Luigi Trillo vs Coach Yeng, I think Coach Yeng is the better coach but I don't want to judge because I believe that we should give a new coach a chance to prove himself for at least one season.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 07, 2022, 01:03:48 PM
Needless to say, everyone is predicting that this is going to be a match that will be won by Inoue.

100%, or if not maybe 95%.... Inoue is gonna win here, but if you will put a bet on him, don't expect an 50-50 bet, most likely your bet will only win less than 5%.
Let's say that there's the little percentage that Butler could win. The talks are that it will be like a lucky punch that will make him win this match.

Most of the upsets in boxing are made through lucky punches Grin Inoue is heavily favored to win, but that doesn't mean that Butler doesn't have a chance. There is always a chance and opportunity for underdogs like Butler to win. They just have to make things work and grab that little sliver of opportunity when it presents to them. Who knows, maybe Butler can knock out Inoue in one of those rounds and we will all be shocked in disbelief  Cheesy
A punch that Inoue is not expecting, and that is the punch that usually hurts and could end this fight. However, we haven't seen Inoue letting his guard down. Even in the first fight against Donaire that put Inoue at bay because he has suffered a broken orbital bone, it's not enough for him to go down or quit. So it will be a combination of everything before Butler can upset Inoue.

A lucky punch is indeed the right term and what Butler needs to win this fight but based on chances, we can assume and predict that Inoue will dominate Butler in almost all rounds or even knock him out much earlier just like what Inoue did to Donaire recently. Though, we can say that Butler won't take that step because he knows that he will just end up laying down in the canvass.

Butler is not a KO artist so that lucky punch is nothing if he could not knockout Butler. In Inoue's first fight against Donaire, there are some instances that he was hit hard but he was still able to survive, this guy's stamina is very strong that's why he is called as a monster.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all 100x hunters out there on: September 07, 2022, 10:56:36 AM
Maybe sometimes we take another option as many potential coins are waiting for us to discover. It was possible those coins are very hot during that time and hypes had occurred but what really happens to them is somewhat surprising, in fact, many investors feel regret for not investing in them.

But this is the case, people make a huge profit from a hyped project but after they invest and sell them, they never take it back knowing that it was impossible to make 100x again.
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 06, 2022, 01:28:15 PM
I'm happy for coach yeng.

PBA: Yeng Guiao returns as Rain or Shine head coach

Quote
MANILA, Philippines—Yeng Guiao is back as head coach of Rain or Shine, a team he steered to two championships in 2012 and 2016.

The Elasto Painters announced Guiao’s return on Monday just days after he and NLEX “mutually agreed to part ways.”

“Now, he returns to coach a new generation of Elasto Painters. Only Gabe Norwood, Beau Belga, and Jewel Ponferrada remain from the ROS team Coach Yeng coached,” the team posted on Instagram.

What are your thoughts about this one, can coach Yeng make ROS a great team again?
I saw them fighting for a championship game before and have won championships, but when coach Yeng leave the team, they are struggling to be in the playoffs.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Heavyweight Battle of Britain - FURY vs JOSHUA on: September 06, 2022, 12:33:31 PM
If Fury vs Usyk will not happen, then I guess this is a better replacement, they were supposed to fight before but Joshua lose to Usyk that's why it didn't happen. I still like this one though, it's like a Fury vs Wilder fight but I'm sure Fury will have no problem knocking out Joshua knowing how soft he is compared to Wilder.
