401  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ATH na ba? on: November 30, 2020, 05:24:33 PM
Kabayan sana gising pa kayo para ma enjoy ninyo ang takbo ng bitcoin ngayon.
I believe we will see a new ATH tonight as we welcome a new month .

Before, December nag ATH, pero I think November this time.

402  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 30, 2020, 04:43:39 PM
It actually is a bad idea. One of the winners, wagered $1.87M to get that 187k tickets and getting $1k prize after those huge wager isnt really satisfying after all. If I am the player that wager $1.87M, I'd rather compete with the others for 5 chances to get $5k prize rather than 25 chances to get $1k prize. Im pretty sure the player that wagered $1.87M probably could have gotten more than $1k from the rooward / vip rakeback.

The idea would satisfy alot of small players but it wont be satisfying for all those huge players and Roobet has tons of those huge players
~
~
I do not really get it, why would we have to bow down to the guy who had almost 2 million dollar bets, he did that all knowing that he did it for himself and not for the competition or anything, if you want to win for competition you probably could do half that and still be miles ahead of everyone, he is not the type of person who would want to wager out everyone hundred to one in order to make it known he is the biggest, he just wanted to wager and wager he did.

Obviously it is not going to be fine if he gets nothing but he should get something outside of all these promotions, he should get something personal like a VIP situation, regardless of any wagering between each other. But I guess that is not what people think, I would have given more people smaller amount but give the huge whale an individual pay for a VIP.

Indeed, there are many whales playing on Roobet, it's just normal to see those numbers of wagers that they'd wager either to participate on a site-wide contest or just to wager all of those money because he just wants it, for fun, and surely to make profits. Saying that he wagered $1.87M doesn't mean that he lost most of those that he wagered, who knows if he won some big payouts from those?
AFAIK, all of the whales are contacted by their very own VIP managers as soon as they qualify to become a VIP. I'm sure that the user is enjoying the VIP perks on Roobet right now.
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hitting ATH right now? on: November 30, 2020, 03:48:36 PM
What's happening today is very exciting. Seems like it's the beginning of a new cycle. It's now just about 4% away from its all-time high.

Really seems like a new bull run for bitcoin this time after it's value declined to ~$16,000 recently. Exciting to see if bitcoin will reach it's new ATH or maybe even just reach it's current ATH tomorrow, December 1 (which will come few hours from now), pretty good to start the last month of the year 2020 if that will happen tomorrow.

~
~ guess bitcoin will hit 35,000$ by 2021

Not yet safe to say, let's see first what does this month have for bitcoin. My guess is, bitcoin will reach $24,000 before this year ends though.
I'm excited to witness what will happen next! Grin
404  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: If you are a gamer, come here! on: November 30, 2020, 01:09:37 PM
You will need to decide if you want to be a web service (gaming, news, etc) or a local brick and mortar business.  Dividing time on both will hurt both.

Do not expect Microsoft or Nvidia to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars building a endpoint near you when you have no idea of the resources you would need.

Instead, why not provide guides and youtube videos on how to set up local LAN parties?  LAN speeds are faster than WAN, and most good games will have open source projects allowing you to host a server locally without internet access.

If he would focus instead on making a gaming business that is mainly a LAN party gaming, then it wasn't far different from establishing an Internet Cafe. But honestly, such businesses really aren't good for this era as many people already own their respective gaming consoles. I also had the same idea back then and if the OP would take your advice, I would also suggest that if he would push a LAN party gaming establishment, it should not be a renting-consoles type of business, but rather a local gaming haven for game tournaments which only opens if a minor tournament would be conducted. I've never seen such businesses, and I guess it would be as good as making a company that sponsors gamers, yet as expensive of course as making a real company.
405  Economy / Reputation / Re: Avoid dealing with these sellers on: November 29, 2020, 06:56:33 PM
My mistake, yet the lesson learnt. He won't get away I've got his information and shared it with cybercrim devision in his country.
Even though you shared with the cybercrime, but it's quite complicated to recover your funds. It's gone whatever you sent to him, cryptocurrency isn't reversible. Surprisingly, you are warning others now, but you hadn't obeyed the warnings by DT members. Lots of similar threads have been created on the forum, but sadly, no one is hearing the warning.

Anyway, sorry for your loss.

Well apparently, some government and their anti-cybercrime divisions often tend to take the punishment seriously, especially once the law accepts the complainant's evidences to proof a certain online crime/theft had been done by the accused party. With that, there could be ways to give back the money of the complainant once the case allows him to get his funds back by either the bank accounts of the accused party or by the accused refunding the money to the complainant traded for a lighter punishment. But if every transaction was done through both online and via cryptocurrency, odds to win the case are very low, as the medium of possible evidence is mainly viable to tampering and falsification.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good advice Here About Main coins btc and eth Trading as full income on: November 29, 2020, 06:07:00 PM

Well the Good volume coins will always bounce back there is always buyers and sellers, If You Buy with  red price -5 to -10 the average pre% are for those coins 20-40% in 2 days time period.
So even you Buy with  -5% red the coin will Go just 10% Up... You made 5% profit.

This is just a straight false. Not all good volume would bounce back, many crypto have huge volume at first yet the investors are constantly exiting. This is a huge danger when you would just advice some investors to spend huge money on a crypto just because it has a good volume and the price 'seemingly' would go up in just days. Hence, not all cryptos go up. If you are a real trader that had so many loses in trading, you would just be laughing with your own advice and illusions that cryptos can and would always be going up.

I must agree with @joniboini the context with OP's thread is too general and mostly are presumptions. If giving advice to the newbies regarding the crypto space and how to trade it should be more specific and the detailed information for it could mislead the newbies on how to handle the volatility of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

It appears to me that OP is in a hurry when he created this thread the shorten all the topics and didn't even provide any supporting information that will make his idea viable.
this is works even for pro traders, try this youll see it yourself.

Well then I consider myself as a pro trader and I've seen the opposite of your advice  Wink

Have you any idea about blockchain technologies and gaming?

We need innovations! If you have any suggestion, you are more than welcome!

OK first things first, the idea was good despite of having various flaws and questions that still needs to be solidified. Your idea is all about gaming, and with no integration of cryptocurrency nor blockchain at all. If you wanted to have some unique ideas, better implement crypto as mode of payment upon registration of a user's account. But, keep in mind that CLOUD GAMING is very expensive, and having brilliant ideas wouldn't give you certainty that Microsoft nor Nvidia would sponsor nor make a deal WITHOUT you providing a prototype with a full document of your concept. Lastly, if you wanted to be a 'gaming-haven platform', take the ideas of Steam and Riot Games as your primary competitor, as they have the same concept as you do, except the possible integration of crypto.

409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for Web Developers and Token Experts on: November 26, 2020, 01:25:57 PM
Who do we need?
Stakeholders, just people interested in this project to contribute ideas and flaws.
Voluntary Developers, We are looking for enthusiasts who in exchange for helping with development will be issued shares inside Playbit.
Investors, People who support the idea and want to prebuy tokens or shares. Your investment can be 0.01€ or 1'000'000€. Every cent counts.
Game developers, people willing to implent our token in the game in the future.

Before any of these groups of people start to get excited about an actual idea (or spend money pre-buying junk), please list the game developers supporting Playbit.

Right now it seems you want to copy a token/coin, restrict it further, and expect it to become more popular than the original.

What can I do with your token I cannot do with the one it is copied from?

and before coming here w that hate, read again. This js a CONCEPT in DEVELOPMENT looking for DEVElOPERS and GAME DEVELOPErs for FUTURE implementation

Vod is talking about what is your difference with a lot of gaming tokens out there such as Itchiro(JEM)[1] and what would be your advantage agaisnt them? Honestly, upon reading your concept, it seems that it is already a common one, adding that there are no such thing as VOLUNTARY developers as it is too hard to develop something without any assurance of having any salary after all. Also, if you would want to HIRE developers, why not look on Fiverr? It is too hard to trust an anonymous user with just a CONCEPT to hold on to. Take it as my suggestion only Smiley

420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between BTC/USDT and BTC/USD on: November 20, 2020, 11:55:11 PM
Hello,
Some brokers does not have BTC/USD, but they have BTC/USDT or BTC/USDC.
My question, is the any difference (in term of day trading profit) between BTC/USD and BTC/USDT?  Roll Eyes

To sum everything up, here's a simple explanation:
BTC - Crypto
USDT - Crypto
USDC - Crypto
USD- Fiat.

Any of the mentioned currency above can be paired and be exchanged. Brokers (or Exchangers in crypto terminologies), such as Binance, offers both crypto and fiat exchange. And lastly, there are little to no difference at all, USDT and USDC is backed by USD but doesn't mean it really keeps with the price of USD, there can be some time of delays, hence exchanging any pairs would still make the same profit.
