421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the most bullish altcoin of the week? on: October 25, 2021, 10:35:23 PM
Interestingly Shiba is still looking quite high, at least higher than what people assumed it would be like. I mean sure it is community hyped token so it could be going up and down here and there, but going down so much and breaking ATH after that was a big deal, and now it is down again. Let's see what it does, but it was certainly a great deal to watch.

--snip--

I'd rather short it after watching Elon's recent tweet as anytime he comes up with anything, has either very good or very bad effects. He announced not to put all the money on the farm, which means Shib is a part of that "farm" he was referring to, a literally useless shitcoin which just grew with the support of that guy only. Now, I'm just waiting for it to get down again and if it gets below where it was (low) on Binance, then I'd never touch this shitcoin again. Elon Musk knows the strategy of fetching the hell outta money by making a fool of us.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat-betting to crypto+betting on: October 25, 2021, 09:54:37 PM
I used to gamble on very few websites which allowed me to deposit fiat but with hefty fees (as I belong to India) and I was required to pay those high fees to gamble. But nowadays, those fees in fiat are also slashed down very much due to crypto being the second major option as funding in gambling.

And not just that, even crypto gambling websites allow me to deposit via fiat directly without any fees and I get to see the funds in my account almost instantly. Crypto has changed the look of gambling industry in an immense way.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks either adapt or face death on: October 25, 2021, 09:20:21 PM
I don't know why I see threads like this where people talk about the "death" of fiat, banks or anything that comes in front of crypto? Why shouldn't fiat be used just as it was since decades?
Why to eradicate banks from our society? Banks only lend people for their businesses and not everyone here can afford to learn about crypto or join this revolution by buying the expensive cryptocurrencies. I'm not against crypto, but I guess we need everything we already have, plus a few new things for a better tomorrow. Why to remove anything out of them for our convenience?
424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Does BTC growing faster?? on: October 24, 2021, 01:03:34 PM
Why does btc growing faster than other Cryptocurrencies?

At first, there were miners who ruled. Then came retailers. After them, came the merchants and finally, it got extreme adoption when institutions started backing it. Bitcoin grows slow and steady, I never saw it growing "that fast" you're talking about.

Quote
What makes people chooses bitcoin?

Bitcoin has a highly secured network which takes into account a very huge amount of mining equipment involved in order to keep the security of its Blockchain very very tight. No other altcoins give such assurance as well as security that Bitcoin provides.

Quote
Does bitcoin going up forever?

It depends on the demand alone as its supply is very less compared to what people are demanding today for. And if the demand continues to rise like crazy, FOMO will definitely build up and greed will take place which will surely make BTC go high more in price.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy vs. anonymity on: October 24, 2021, 12:53:17 PM
Privacy can be kept when we hide things that we do. Let's take an example of our ISP, they do know what we surf and where we go, even with the use of a basic VPN, we still can't stop them from knowing what we are doing. So, privacy is not that easily possible.

Now let's come to anonymity. The way you said you can do everything, you missed out on a few things. If you are doing everything with a specific smartphone, then they also get your details like IMEI number, Mac ID, sim card carrier, phone's model number, etc. Though it's not easy to crack our location, but if those secret agencies smell anything suspicious and would start looking for us, it won't be any hard for them to reach us. Where is anonymity?

We all speak a lot about both privacy and anonymity, but all these things are very very limited in our real lives compared to the talks we had about. From centralised exchanges to going for kyc on any sites, to knowing people and letting them know about us that we hold crypto, most identities are already under the radar who have already opened up about both BTC and themselves being in crypto.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going for the Underdog or Not? on: October 24, 2021, 08:38:32 AM
It takes very less time to learn about those fighters, no need to check everything but their previous games and how they won/lose, what are their fighting strategies, strengths and weaknesses. Then, if you believe that the weakness of fighter A can be beaten up by the strength of fighter B, then you may go for fighter B and instead of waiting, you know there are cashout options also available in these games? If you see the game going in your fighter's favor, then you decide whether to watch the whole match and wait for the results or keep your greed aside and cashout what you're already winning.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 23, 2021, 09:48:08 PM
<snip>
Probably the pitch condition is different in T20 world cup. Seems like it is in favour of bowlers. The target was low in both matches of today, but the opponent faced difficulties to get the victory. The match between India and Pakistan will be played in the same venue where ENG and WI played. There is no possibility to see a big score if the pitch condition remains same tomorrow. India is favourite for the match and I think they will win it.

This game is not just limited to the pitch conditions as well as batting and bowling, this is real cricket that we'll see tomorrow because it's between those two countries, whose citizens are die-hard fans of matches played between the two and people watch it from their hearts. You'll see there'll be enough people gathered at many places in India as well as Pakistan to watch this match together and enjoy every single moment. I hope that (if) Pakistan loses, they don't break their TVs this time. Recalling that video of a Pakistani fan Momin Saqib (who is now a very popular personality), I believe it'll be again a time for him to repeat - Waqt badal diya, jazbaat badal diye, halat badal diye.  Cheesy https://youtu.be/vMR3MvrcOgM
428  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurs, money and investing - your culture on: October 23, 2021, 09:18:45 PM
We live in an area or environment where a job that has a position, wearing a uniform, and a fixed salary every month is the best aspiration and perception in society. Especially when we work as civil servants, this is a very noble job and is coveted by everyone.
And this is still the case, even in my family. Even outside jobs that earn more money, even often helping them with our hard-earned money in other fields, will ultimately mean nothing and we are not considered anything unless we become a civil servant.

building a business?
Building a business -> must be prepared with various ridicule -> when success may be praised when failure will be mocked and brought up for life.
Working online? -> people will consider us having magic work that doesn't make sense and is considered to have a devil worship to get rich  Grin Grin

You forgot to mention government jobs man. Wink
Those who get a government job, may he be even earning around $100 or even less in salary, he'll definitely get a girl married to him sooner than an IITian whose salary is over $500 or even $1000 but still won't be given preference against that government job guy. This is an extremely dull mentality of our society here and I believe it must be changed so not to let the future generations suffer due to this.
429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think October will be for alts? on: October 23, 2021, 09:09:55 PM
I'm looking for BTC's dominance rather than its price because the less the dominance we see, the more the price of alts will rise. Currently, BTC fell down from $67k to $61k and if it either manages to stay there or get down, we may see an extreme surge in alts' prices because then, money will shift from BTC to alts and the same happens in an inverse manner when BTC goes high, and with it only a few major coins continue their rallies.

@JeromeTrash, you are right mate.
People tend to make quick money but forget that money generation needs time and they can't get rich overnight. If they'd have invested in those early days, they might have made even 100-1000x on their investments on a few coins. While they're now seeing the markets when the bull run has reached its peak for many coins, it's always better to take necessary steps of doing enough research before putting even a cent on a coin.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / First Bitcoin Futures ETF Trades Nearly $1 Billion in One Day on: October 19, 2021, 10:28:45 PM
One of the most popular online crypto news portal Decrypt shared an article in which you can find how hungry investors traded the first ever ProShares' Bitcoin Strategy ETF and crossed $280 million in volume in just 20 minutes. As well, storm didn't stop here as the rally in volume continued till it reached nearly $1 billion ($994 million as reported by Bloomberg) on the first day of its trading, being the first ever ETF to cross that mark and breaking all the records in terms of being traded in one day with this huge volume. How do you feel about this?
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: October 19, 2021, 10:19:41 PM
Here in India, we are having some positive vibes coming our side as our government has shown interest in regulating cryptocurrencies, which means legalization is on its way too. If you're asking about Bitcoin being used as a legal tender, I guess that won't happen that easy here because the stance of government and various groups that manipulate the government through their "support" system as well as RBI is not so good about cryptocurrencies and it'll take time for them to first regulate and see how it goes here.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fomo AGAIN? on: October 19, 2021, 09:19:09 PM
I haven’t thought it could be a new ATH without a big dump to $10k-20k LOL but now we are very close to the new ATH; probably tonight, who knows. I just have realized that I'm in FOMO and get an amount which I could afford. Do you think FOMO is created once again & people are likely to get in? I have sold all my BTC long ago; later on, bought little amount only. Sad I didn’t buy the dip.

Exactly my thoughts. I also used to think BTC scratching the $20k area again before it goes up like crazy (or like it did already). Those green sticks are looking like ladyfingers I wanna eat haha. And yeah, BTC didn't break its ATH just yet because the previous one was very near to $65k and today's high (at the time of writing this) was ~$64,350, and I believe that BTC can come near $61290 before breaking its ATH again. I don't think that BTC would cross $100k as many analysts have predicted, I see it at $75k max this year. And this doesn't really look like a FOMO but institutional fever.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with crypto??? on: October 19, 2021, 09:01:43 PM
I like to use stablecoins just like everyone here because of zero chance of last minute manipulation in price to save myself the extra price that I'd need to pay if the sent coins (of other types) do not arrive in receiver's wallet on time. Yeah I do use USDT (in TRC-20 chain) to pay my friends, family and merchants if I buy something online through them.
434  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ DuckDice.io 🎲 Faucet 🎲 Rainbot 🎲 Jackpot 🎲 Wagering Contest 🎲 1%Edge 🎲 on: October 19, 2021, 08:45:48 PM
Will you please response to me?
OP received another negative feedback from a DT2 member (Jawhead999) as he isn't providing the proof of account ownership change in your thread. User ‘Screwing1100’ has deleted some of his post after receiving 100 USD from DuckDice.

i send them email that i will delete  the thread and remove the flag if they can payme back 1 seassion of 5 seassions, and they paid me 100usd and reactivated my Account so i delete my post and reviews.
your problem is different  then mine.
DD paid him so that he doesn't create more drama here. But there wasn't any valid reason to pay him the loseback. He was unlucky and lost some of his amount.

Lolz all that drama for just 100 bucks?
And what about those allegations? Why delete the posts even after receiving money? This clearly shows that he sold his soul for $100 man.
And for the first time in the history of crypto gambling, I've heard that someone got his lossback. I know about, refshares, revshares and even rakebacks, but never saw or heard anything like this happening. And when screwing got the money, I'd also like to question you Duckdice that why didn't you pay the lossback to nomercy?

Oh BTW, hey Duckdice, I've also lost so much on your website, be it via playing on dice manually, auto or flash bets (flash bets are worst here TBH). Can I too ask for (kinda expect) my money to be chipped back into my account? I'm not asking for a bribe, but a lossback. Like really? You paid one member and you think we all who lost our money at your site are fools?
435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make $5,000 a month day trading? on: October 19, 2021, 08:30:03 PM
Have you heard about Philakone?
https://mobile.twitter.com/PhilakoneCrypto
Go check out his trades. Yeah, his strategy was very aggresive at first but now he trades for only 1-2% (movement in coin) with 4-5x leverage max.

You can easily make $5k but it all depends on your practice, your experience as well as your rules that you set. For example, if you've decided to go for 3x leverage and a maximum of 5% to be used per trade with a 1:4 risk:reward ratio, then you must stick to those rules and never be greedy so not to become impatient and go with higher leverage like 10x or even 100x.

Always look for other's accidents to learn and do proper trading by going ahead with your rules.

A bit off-topic:
Do you know about FTMO, MyForexFunds, Audacity, etc.?
These are the institutions that provide you with real forex accounts with $2k to $25k inside and you need to pay a sma fee. You can buy a $2k account for just $99, terms are, profits will be split 50-50 and once you make 10% profits over your portfolio, it'll be doubled at first phase and then 1.5x so this cycle continues till you reach max if you've the guts to do that. Try out your patience there and see if you can even come out with your initial investment of $99 because you need to let your account stay under 5% drawdown.
436  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Kucoin scam on: October 19, 2021, 07:52:56 PM
Thanks for the advice.

They make the trading password so confusing, I am not the first to mistake it with 2FA then forget it.

As told by The Pharmacist, there's a chance that you might not be passing the third party verification either due to having blurred images or some issues with the software itself. If their live chat is not replying you, tech-support@kucoin.com is the email you should contact them through, as well as also submit a request here - https://support.kucoin.plus/hc/en-us/requests/new

If these two doesn't work at all, try taking this to their Twitter handle @kucoincom (don't share any personal details or passwords or anything like that over there).

Remember that once your trading password has been reset, you won't be able to withdraw till 24 hours have passed.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why shiba inu not come 1$ on: October 19, 2021, 07:35:27 PM
Even Bitcoin"s marketcap isn't in quadrillion and you want Shit Shib to be worth $1 to surpass BTC? What's so special in Shib that you've found? Or are you just shilling here thinking that your investment will make you a billionaire soon?

Come out of your dreams man and see the reality, Shib and doge coins are just shitcoins that are not even worth 1/100 their current prices and they are this high just because of a shiller like you, and his name is Elon Musk. I respect him for what he's doing for our planet, but not in terms of crypto.
438  Economy / Economics / Re: Will circular economy work ? on: October 19, 2021, 07:18:45 PM
I'm biased on this because if the wastage is to be lessened, then it's good but it will work or not will completely depend upon the quality of the products that are being shared or sold ahead. If the quality of refurbished products isn't good, just the way I mostly see bad reviews of people buying expensive smartphones whose costs are cut down due to them being sold as refurbished products but still people are not satisfied, then this economy will turn out to be a huge failure. But yeah, if we talk about recycling of products, it is possible that some products (for eg.Wink like plastic bottles or even glass bottles are not thrown away but given back to these companies through a chain, then that would definitely work in benefits of people.
439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $100,000 in December? on: October 19, 2021, 06:54:36 PM
@OP, I don't believe BTC would go that high as I see it going $75k max and after that, it may stabilize. Ask your friends to check history of BTC as well and see what happened in January after those sudden pumps. Why to expect (or speculate) for overnight spikes in prices when we can have organic growth?

One more thing, why are you even speculating man?
Why not just enjoy these high prices and celebrate the success of BTC after a long, long time?

Do you think NFT market has less scams? It's just that these scams are not unfolded yet. It's a money laundering heaven in reality and I wouldn't get shocked if we discover that NFT was originally formulated for money laundering only!

NFT games are no less here! I havebeen playing few NFT games since last few months and I found that it's quite easy to launder money using NFT games as well. Otherwise a digital piece of ahit wouldn't have sold for millions.

Lol, I agree with you but partially, so let me FTFY here. NFTs are "a part" of a money laundering heaven we call as "cryptocurrencies", and I need not to prove that if a person wants to, he/she can easily ditch these agencies and quietly transact under their nose without even giving them a hint. I mean, if you're calling out almost everything a scam here, then the root cause will come out to be cryptocurrencies itself behind all this, right?

Yeah, even I used to think the way you do when I saw that NFT selling for millions, but hey, he was from our own country India who spent those millions on that NFT and also gave an interview (which means he went public and didn't remain anonymous), where's money laundering here? Anyways, even if it's a way to launder money, I believe this is helping some people who live in a class between poor and middle class, a class you can't justify as poor or middle class because these people have the basic things available but still can't live an easy life and NFTs are giving them a chance through various ways like IGOs and IDOs (of their gaming or whatever platforms), staking them, trading them, etc.
