There are rumours such as Mason Greenwood is on the radar of Atletico Madrid and it is said that Manchester United have set an asking price of 50 million pounds (around 58 million euros) for him.  Smiley

This is quite a huge sum before anything else. His market value is only 7.5 million euros now. But valuing him this high might be to show that the Red Devils aren't very interested in selling him to another team now. Besides I have read that the team want him back in the squad after his loan contract with Getafe ends this summer. As he is cleaned from the charges against him as well this can be a second chance for him to improve his career. He is actually a quite skilled player.

I also don't think anyone will underestimate West Ham. I would like to remind that they were the winner of the Conference League title in the previous season.  Wink

They take these tournaments really seriously. After especially seeing how Leverkusen struggled against Qarabag the last time this matchup seems likely to be quite competitive as well. Xabi Alonso has an incredible record this season. They are still unbeaten.  Grin  I'm really curious about whether West Ham will be able to put an end to this huge record if Leverkusen don't lose until then. West Ham have much more capable players than Qarabag so technically they are more likely on paper.

When it comes to my opinion on which one to advance I would still favour Leverkusen because of their much more convincing look.  Smiley

Real Madrid prepared to face City? That is not going to happen.Real was destroyed 4-0 last year when they were playing much better than what I saw against Leipzig during this season, that was the most ugly football I have ever seen in my life and trust me I have seen more than 25 years of football, never I have seen such a boring game like that of Real Madrid against a team like Leipzig which is nowhere near the power of Manchester City.

Real for me is out 101% and they don't stand a single chance against City with that type of football that they have showed so far in the Champions League,if the odds will be good for City when playing away I am going to bet an extensive amount as I am sure they will beat Real at Bernabeu too.

Yeah I remember that horrible performance by Real Madrid. Losing by a score like that was a big shame for them.  Sad  Real Madrid even had Benzema in their lineup back then but this was still not enough to equalize the conditions. The question is how much better Real Madrid will be able to play than they did in the last 16 phase.

Because as you know their performance was really not good enough against Leipzig back then. They couldn't even win at Santiago Bernabeu which was a big surprise for me. In this way there is no way they are eliminating Manchester City.  Sad

Harry Kane was added to the squad as Lewandowski's replacement. Harry Kane has proved his mettle. Kane performed well in every match.

Bayern Munich normally weren't intending to pay much more money than they thought Kane was worth. They negotiated with Tottenham chairman for a long time but of course had no choice to pay a huge sum. However this was definitely worth it. I wasn't expecting Kane to have big problems here and he actually adapted much quicker than my expectation.  Smiley

Therefore my point is that he was really one of the best alternatives to fill Lewandowski's place in a solid way. I think Kane could be like Benzema who was really productive for long years even after starting to get quite old.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 18, 2024, 10:04:31 AM
We have been seeing improvements in Barcelona for a few weeks. I do not expect them to beat Atletico Madrid so easily, but they were very good and did not play a great match. An important moment in the match was when Xavi was suspended due to his objections. This was an important moment.

Even if Barcelona was ahead, the players could have been affected by this situation, but that was not the case at all, on the contrary, they scored two more goals and Barcelona beat Atletico Madrid 3-0 today. Barcelona's young players show a lot of promise: Yamal and Pau Cubarsi

For the recent times yeah I can also say there is a really good progress for Barcelona. They didn't lose their last 10 official games for example. The win over Atletico Madrid was really spectacular by the way. There were actually some moments that could have changed the direction of the game was going to. Atletico Madrid wasted a huge chance while it was 0-0.

But the goals Barcelona scored were really nice. Felix also scored a goal against his previous team but I don't feel like he has been performing much better since he came here. He is a waste of money for Atletico Madrid for sure.  Sad  Anyway despite the win it is still not very realistic for Barcelona to become champions now in my opinion.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: March 18, 2024, 09:53:57 AM
Tottenham are really unbelievable. Before the Fulham game they destroyed Aston Villa away. Maybe the red card also had an impact but their game was still impressive. But only a week later their performance against Fulham was a big disappointment. Defense and offense both were horrible. Losing this game by a score like 3-0 isn't acceptable no matter they played away.  Sad

I really want to see Tottenham being more competitive than this. They started the season pretty good but there isn't much thing left of that performance now. I don't know maybe this inconsistency is related to their squad being not competitive enough for playing bigger.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 18, 2024, 09:42:34 AM
There was literally nobody to find the target properly at Juventus side in the game. I thought they would be able to win by one goal at least. Their scoring problems this season has cost them too much unfortunately. They started to not be able to keep up with Inter after a point and I can't say they are able to fight against Milan recently either.  Sad

I wish I didn't place a bet on Juventus win. I won't trust them for betting for a long time from now on until they show some real progress. By the way the competition for the fourth position is going on nicely. Bologna and Roma both won but it was a blank week for Atalanta. It is really not easy to predict which one will make it.
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 17, 2024, 01:44:27 PM
PSG is ranked first and they're doing everything to continue staying at the top table this season. They're not jeopardizing their opportunities and nailed the exact targets lined out. I consider the France Ligue One to be inspiring for mediocre teams but not for elite ones. Paris Saint-Germain have nailed the big winnings and they're doing everything to pulled stats against top clubs in the UEFA Champions League competition. That's were they're focusing because lifting the title will become one of the top accomplishments on their ends.

The Ligue 1 has become like a toy for PSG I'm afraid. As there is no other team as rich as PSG in the league it is really too difficult to compete hard against them. Lille were an exception in the 2020/21 season and they fought really incredible for the league title. There is Monaco example 4 years before that one too. But since like the 2012/13 season PSG have been in dominance with 9 titles.

As winning the league title is really easy for PSG their ultimate goal is to win a Champions League title for the first time in their history. They have played in the finale the most so far. But can they do this before Mbappe leaves the team? I really have big doubts.  Sad

This equals to a sum around 117 million euros while his market value is 110 million. If the rumoured asking price is true it wouldn't be surprising. In this market nowadays young and skilled players such as Musiala are valued at really high levels.  Smiley  Bayern Munich signed him for only 200k euros to their U17 team and he has improved his skills a lot in the meantime. This would be an enormous profit without doubt but would Bayern Munich be keen on such transfer? I don't think so for now.
So true but that high price doesn't guarantee this youngstar to play better compared to the when he played in the old club. Chelsea and manchester united gave us the best lesson about how the price can also sometimes trap you. Chelsea got big lost last season since all of players bought with non sense price played like amateur players.
No guarnatee if musiala will able to perform so well in the new club. This is pure gambling from liverpool to get him. The reds expect him to be a backup for salah or diaz if one of them leave from the club someday.

Of course there is no guarantee for something in football. It is all up to how much the game plan of the team a player goes to is fitting them. If the player can't adapt well then their career can be affected really seriously in the meantime. There must be many examples of it in football history. I hope it doesn't happen for Musiala if he really leaves this summer.  Sad

As far as I know Diaz is likely to leave Liverpool at the end of the season. His place would be definitely filled and Musiala would be a great choice. Musiala is versatile, he can play as a midfielder and winger both. Liverpool might even lose Salah too by the way.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 17, 2024, 01:25:40 PM
I think right now Manchester City is a stronger squad compared to Real Madrid. And I absolutely agree about Manchester City being more ready. Manchester City has been facing hard opponents throughout the whole season. And how many hard opponents do Real Madrid face? Barcelona?
And at this point, I don't think Atletico Madrid is on the same level as Real Madrid. Some people will say that Girona will also cause problems. But I think if I remember correctly Girona was never able to give Real Madrid big competition head to head.

So Real Madrid is definitely not going to be as prepared to face Manchester City as Manchester City will be to face Real Madrid.

I also think the same. Manchester City have a player like Erling Haaland on the front before anything else.  Smiley  I know Haaland can be really ineffective from time to time and this is more commonly seen in big games. The Liverpool game they played recently can be considered as an example. Another example is his performance as of the semi finals phase in the Champions League last season.

However Haaland is still a beast and a goal machine. Real Madrid don't have that kind of a player in the attacking line but it is still up to their team performance on one hand. I don't think we will watch an easy matchup for any of these teams this time.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Conference League 2023/24 Season on: March 17, 2024, 01:17:52 PM
Lille are shown as a bigger favourite than Fenerbahçe according to bookmakers when it comes to winning the Conference League title. But I don't think so honestly. Both sides are strong but I think Fenerbahçe are still one step ahead. I think Fenerbahçe's squad is more impressive generally despite the small gap between squad market values.

Jonathan David is the biggest threat at Lille who is valued at 50 million euros as well. He was one of the rumoured players to join a much bigger team in the past transfer window. There is not a player who has a that high value at Fenerbahçe maybe but the general player quality still seems more impressive to me.  Smiley
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 17, 2024, 09:27:39 AM
Harry Kane continues to be a goal machine. Another goal scored by him against Darmstadt this time and his number of goals in the Bundesliga is 31 now.  Smiley

Maybe Bayern Munich won't be able to prevent their title streak from ending most probably. However this season is still incredible for Kane so he will be the person who will be in most profit at Bayern Munich at the end of the season. It must be really frustrating for Bayern Munich board and the chairman that they can't take advantage of such goal source much. The Champions League is still on for them though but I don't favour them for the title honestly.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: March 17, 2024, 09:15:45 AM
There's definitely no challenge for Liverpool till they reach the final stage, everything have been easy and smooth for them because they've enchanced the performance of the club. Liverpool thrashed Sparta Prague 6-1 and it was a comfortable dominative game for them. They had no challenge but focused on the main winning and grabbed it. Liverpool are favorite to win the Europa League trophy because they're promising elite team that's in possession of elite performance, it's been a long run for the Reds this season.

I can agree with that. As long as they eliminate Atalanta in this phase their next opponent is going to be one of Benfica and Marseille. None of them is at Liverpool's level at the moment. Benfica had a really big difficulty in eliminating Rangers for example. I don't think they would show a better performance against Liverpool.  Sad

When it comes to Marseille they look more impressive recently. Since they changed their manager they have been on the rise. They have a potential to fight harder compared to Benfica in my opinion. But would this be enough to eliminate Liverpool? I think there won't be such thing happening.  Smiley
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 17, 2024, 09:09:00 AM
Juventus' job might be seen like easy but their recent form is really not convincing to me at all.  Sad  They have lost so many points recently that the point gap with Inter has become huge. Milan have also caught up with them and taken the second position in the standings as well. I hope Juventus win today to finish this bad streak and I will try my luck with their win this time. 1.50 is quite nice odds to add to a parlay.

Inter - Napoli is the main event today. Inter are quite advantageous in the league already. However I feel like they won't still be complacent. You know how inconsistent Napoli are this season. Inter have 1.59 odds to win this game and I'm thinking of adding it as well.  Smiley
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 17, 2024, 08:56:35 AM
It was another solid win for Real Madrid side by 4-2 yesterday. I was expecting them to get a decent win in both of the games in which Bellingham was suspended and they didn't surprise me. Have you seen Arda Guler's goal attempt a short time after he entered the game? It was such a confident attempt from midfield but his shot hit the upper post.  Sad  You can watch it if you haven't from here: https://twitter.com/LaLigaEN/status/1769048509662044206

Arda Guler continues to impress people and Ancelotti at the same time. Despite being able to find a really limited time to play he is still able to benefit from it at the highest level. I hope Ancelotti starts giving him longer time to play in the near future. People really want to see him more on the field.  Smiley

I would love to say that, the young shaal grow same way it was years back with Jose Mourinho and Frank Lampard. I'd say same here now with Luis Enrique and Xavi Hernandez, but I'm afraid Luis Enrique is experienced and should have upper hand of how Barcelona and Xavi Hernandez would lineup.

Not too long, Robert Lewandoski also made metion of playing against Kylian Mbappe ND here they're together in the Champions League Competition before Kylian Mbappe finally moves to the Spanish League Competition at the start of the new season.

My Prediction is that, Paris Saint Germans would get the better of the game from both legs and would progress to the Champions League Semi Finals finally. Not really sure Enrique had issues with Xavi Hernandez, he's already played his best all over the past years. A chance for Ivan to.showcase himself was only permitted.

Barcelona continue to surprise me in the Champions League unlike their general look.  Smiley  First I thought Napoli would manage to eliminate them. However after watching the performances in the first leg Napoli were a huge disappointment for their fans. After that it wasn't too difficult for Barcelona to finish the work in the rematch.

Now their job is technically more difficult. PSG are a quite serious problem when we consider especially the Mbappe factor. I feel like this could be the round Barcelona say goodbye to the Champions League so I agree with you. Xavi has at least improved Barcelona's poor look in this tournament in the recent years.

Liverpool are said to be interested in Jamal Musiala. Football Insider says that Bayern Munich have an asking price of 100 million pounds for Musiala now.

This equals to a sum around 117 million euros while his market value is 110 million. If the rumoured asking price is true it wouldn't be surprising. It was such a huge win by Leipzig yesterday and now the pressure is over Dortmund this week. The reason why is this win has pushed Dortmund out of top four in the standings.

I can't say Dortmund have an easy job to do this week. Their game is against Frankfurt home. Dortmund players have returned from a Champions League game you know. There might be some fatigue among the players. Dortmund are still the favourite but I wouldn't make any bet on their win this time. I'm not doing it often as well because of the unconvincing look of Dortmund. Maybe both teams to score could be a nice choice for this one @1.56.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: March 16, 2024, 02:26:26 PM
We have Arsenal in another title race. After being unsuccessful in the one in the previous season they are trying for it again. I must admit that they are in a really great shape recently as well. They have been winning for 8 weeks in a row. This is really a huge form they have had so far. However how long can they go on like this?

I remember a similar scenario from the previous season. They lost three points in really unexpected games and lost their chance. Now they have two opponents in the race. I see Liverpool and Manchester City's chance more than them honestly.  Sad
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 16, 2024, 09:25:18 AM
Better take a double chance for Atlético  Wink
Even with such a difficult background (in terms of fatigue after the Champions League), the strengths of the teams will still be equal since Atletico is playing at home, and Barcelona will have to spend energy on moving (strangely enough, this matters). And as already discussed, if this game means nothing for Barcelona in the tournament plan, then for Atlético it is almost a matter of survival - they are on the verge of leaving the top 4, so they will play with maximum motivation.

Actually yeah I totally forgot about the point gap between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. I was still thinking like there was a gap like one or two points.  Grin  After checking the standings once again I can agree with you on the top four topic. Atletico Madrid are really under the threat of Athletic Bilbao while Barcelona are in much safer place.

I'm really curious about Simeone's strategies in this game. His really smart moves in the second half of the Inter game were a huge help for bringing the semi finals to them. If he becomes successful in this game too then my bet might be likely to lose.  Sad
