421  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about crypto profit on: November 20, 2020, 11:32:15 PM
Easy.
Bitcoin is (almost) a sure things.
While altcoins, even tho have a huge x potential, are mostly scams, moneygrabs, and ARE heavily dependent on BTC price.

What i would suggest, is go halfsies. That's what i do.

As to answer to your question, DOT.

Depending on what altcoin ofcourse. Not all are heavily dependent on BTC, some do also stand out because of it being adopted by various companies, the same way that Bitcoin is being pumped and hyped. Take ETH and XRP as an example, so Investing in those would be riskier than investing in BTC? Hence, either way, both can be potential in profit making, but what's better is to constantly trade it.

If the OP really wanted to gain x100 in a year, better invest on projects, and search for hidden gems. There are a lot of listing that will happen in December and there are also listed that will moon soon. It's just a matter of how huge your risk appetite is. DYOR.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: looking for eur stable currency developer idea on: November 20, 2020, 11:08:03 PM
A stable coin is stable because it's backed by fiat currency. Unlike shittokens, you can't just create it out of thin air and give it a stable value.

Tether currently has a market cap above 18 billion dollars. That should mean the creator holds more than 18 billion dollars in a bank somewhere. According to Wikipedia, a year and a half ago each coin was backed by $0.74. If that ratio is still the same, there's almost 5 billion dollars of "air" in it now. I can't believe people still use it!
So who knows, if you can hype your euroshitcoin, you might actually get away with it too!

everyhting is possble if you hype the coin but i need developer it cant be that hard to make it i think few days and its done.
then first talk with  excngers...like how many coins you want add my coin ,once coin is listed on excngers like binance then boom thats it !!

Do you really have any idea how crypto and the market works? LoyceV is right, it wasn't just a simple development and marketing strategy that makes a coin stable, it's what lies behind it. Also, you don't give exchangers your token, you list it to them by communicating and having a deal! This isn't a game of developing coins with dozens of digits and relies on investor to give it a value and be stable. You really sound like an aspiring project CEO, but for a shitcoin that only wants to gain profit from investors Smiley
423  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I can finally call myself a Self-made Legendary member on: November 20, 2020, 10:11:38 PM
The system works if you play along and show some effort in your posting habits. I am not the most knowledgeable member but I still made it into a prestigious group.
You don't have to be the most knowledgeable, but if you show a desire to learn, and understand any aspect of the forum or Bitcoin then I think you'll be recognized.~

Indeed, but then again the modern standards of this forum nowadays is-- the more and more you learn and spend time learning about crypto or anything helpful to the cryptworld and this forum, would drive you onto a success you deserve having. But if one user became stale and steady on his/her certain knowledge about any certain field of expertise, then I guess it would be too hard and close to be impossible that they would succees.

Congratz to the OP for sharing his success. Soon, after developing apps for the forum, I might be reachin you guys so slow down and wait for me!  Wink
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another person losses $20k to Fake Uniswap on Google Play on: November 20, 2020, 09:27:31 PM

I guess the victim never done any research before downloading nor engaging in the scam app. Uniswap doesn't make any mobile platofrms as they prefer trading of the users with metamask to be much secured in crypto space. Sadly, despite his money being too huge, his lack of awareness with crypto scams surpasses his wealth. Furthermore, the Uniswap app seems to be really just wasn't convincing, especially if it doesn't have any trust mark that it is popular app, nor have anu editor's choice badge in the said play store.
425  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] edctmine.com on: November 20, 2020, 06:23:22 PM
That girl mentioned that she lives in Shanghai, she has a red Ferrari, she is a fashion designer, her name is Wang Jiajia?

How do you know her You will find lots of people on the internet who are attracted to you, who plan to scam you. If you want to invest, you must do a lot of research and then invest. Because now there are a lot of scammers on the internet, they come up with new ideas every day to scam.

LOL hahaha I guess they had the same tinder suggestions yet tinder recommends a catfish who scams innocent-to-crypto people. But dude, we cannot really just say nor imply to all of the people that they should research first, there are really some scammers that were so convincing that you might don't wanna check its integrity anymore. Yet, meanwhile, some really just aren't fond onto learning what is crypto and just keeps investing on things they aren't aware of because their mindset was only to invest and earn and earn and earn.

Furthermore, OP must indicate the chatlogs and you can sensor the sensitive info that could disclose your info. Though you are right with your certain points, it is too subjective to accuse without evidences.
426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth margin trading Bitcoin now? on: November 20, 2020, 06:01:53 PM
Seeing Bitcoin nearly at it's ATH, I'm planning to go short but that means I'm gonna end up with way less BTC now. (e.g. $25 = less than 0.0015 BTC)

HOLDING is the current preferable (based on my analysis of course) way of gaining profit today. With the demand being so aggressive and the weakhands being so afraid that the BTC might fell deep down again, I guess long plays are better in this current situation of the market. Many analysists also sees the movement of Bitcoin being back and same as it was before the boom and uptrend of the 2017, hence would describe why holding/longing it would be better. If you really were a good trader, shorting it would be somehow tough but you should be knowledgeable with reading the market's flow.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎄 Top Christmas Casino Bonuses You Don’t Want to Miss Out On 🎄 on: November 20, 2020, 04:51:11 PM
With Christmas just around the corner - as a gambler myself - a few good holiday bonuses are a must if you want me to come play at your casino.

Luckily for online gamblers, casinos are usually in on the party – which is why Christmas casino bonuses are so generous!

If you are like me and are always looking for the very best promotions - come take a look at this list that have quite a good selection: https://bitcoinchaser.com/christmas-casino-bonuses/

Seems to be another paid review platform that only showcases unpopular to "seemingly fraudulent" online gambling platforms. Yes we like bonuses, who doesnt?! But it wasn't sch bonus if the casino itself isn't trustable and just paid some publisher to shill their project. Furthermore, those fraudulent platforms tend to have such huge Christmas giveaways yet cannot maintain it without any holidays. I'm saying fraudulent because those in the article are just bunch of non popular and nontrusted platforms Smiley
428  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: [Asking]Recommeded XRP Wallet on: November 20, 2020, 04:25:52 PM

If Coinomi really were a better one (including the security and KYC-policies involved), ano advantage nito from your own experience and perspective? I might try kung macoconvince ako hehe.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not Sure On Whether To Buy Crypto Or Not? on: November 20, 2020, 03:41:43 PM
On the fence about buying crypto? Or about buying MORE crypto? Here’s everything you need to know about why you should buy more. https://www.tap.global/why-you-should-buy-bitcoin

DYOR. You shouldn't buy just to go with the flow of the current uptrend, you should have objectives, either those that for only a short period of time or purpose for the long run. Yes, Bitcoin is rising, but keep in mind the risk that it had back then where the whales are everywhere and the demand is pumping the market, as it all turned back to drop for months and years to count. Hence, better study first and have a risk management before investing on a hyped crypto. Yes its better early than sorry, but not to the point that you think it's early but it really was too late.

431  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Voskcoin going Solar with POW Mining? Wise or Not? on: November 20, 2020, 12:02:02 AM
As what Vosk have already mentioned in his videos, he mines mostly for the continuous passive profit. Yes it wouldn't be wise if you would mine and expect a profit in just a year, yet Voskcoin thinks and sees the opposite. This solar powered mining would not only be beneficial for him in the long run, but also to his kids and grandkids in the future. As what the old miners also have done and still currenltydoing, it is better to invest on something that would give you a passive income, even if it would cost you millions to establish.

Think of his projects as like building a small hotel/apartment, it would require a huge investment, yet it would be good in the long run.
432  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: DITO stocks - dapat ba mag invest na DITO? on: November 19, 2020, 11:36:24 PM

If day trader ka and gusto mo ng profit from time to time, yes preferable ang crypto due to its volatility compared sa volatility ng stocks especially the DITO.

My cousin uses this in his trading and talaga namang preferable ito compared to BDO Nomura na laging down haha
433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gunbot trading story on: November 19, 2020, 10:30:19 PM
How many of you out there are using the gunbot to trade.

-What is the biggest profit you made.
-What is the biggest loss you had to face.
-Which gunbot strategy you use most often with the gunbot.
-Which exchange you trade most often with the gunbot.

Gunbot is good yet it would still depend on how you will customize it. Never ever try a bot that has his own strategy, better apply yours so that the risk is much less and the trading itself would be like a real trader as normal as possible. If you're really interested in using Gunbot, better do your research first on the risks that bots have, especially that they are just programs and scripts that do trades for you once they've met your strategy, and not like brokers that can be sued once you've lost a trade.
434  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: [Asking]Recommeded XRP Wallet on: November 19, 2020, 09:50:43 PM
Hello mga kabayan, quick question lang...
Ano pinakamagandang XRP wallet na pwede nyo irecommend bukod sa Coins.ph?

Salamat!

Okay na pala, salamat, Atomic wallet nalang gagamitin ko.

Good day kababayan! Try mo din mag hard wallet in case lang na maisipan mong mag invest na sa mga crypto so I do suggest na Ledger Nano X ang gamitin mo. Kung gusto mo lang talaga ng software wallets maliban sa coins.ph and yung atomic wallet, try mo din gamitin yung Edge Wallet[1] and/or Guardia[2]. Good thing na malaki din tiwala mo sa XRP kagaya ko, but then DYOR padin and analyze mo din muna ang market before investing (try buying XRP at 13PHP)

435  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed - www.housecoinex.com on: November 19, 2020, 09:20:27 PM
I have recently been scammed and lost about 7,000€, and I´d like to share my experience so you guys can be savvier that me in the event that someone approaches you with similar intentions. Here we go:
...

Holy sh*t that was detailed. No need of screenshots or whatsoever, the story itself is already convincing, especially with the 'investment' per se on the particular platform. Here's one thing you should learn before investing, DYOR (Do Your Own Research). Sadly, HC isn't even registered/listed on CoinMarketCap or in Coingecko and the HC coin stands for H-Cash and not HouseCoin, hence their price in the platform is quite fraudulent and alarming.

A girl living in HongKong looking for dudes from Spain should be enough red flags to avoid any contact with them. I know you've listed the addresses but could you separate which one belongs to the exchange and which one belongs to you?

I've tried to look up to those addresses and it all had transactions starting from the first address indicated which sent dated on Aug 06, then the next one is Aug 12, yet I've doubt the third address as it recently holds almost 20BTC and the transactions was too many to be investigated. Hence, if the OP cannot provide a proof of authenticity that he holds the wallets he indicated (which I think he can), then we still must take a look on housecoinex's having fraudulent display of price on their platform.
436  Economy / Reputation / Re: Another trust abusing by efialtis on: November 19, 2020, 08:45:52 PM
What do people think? Is this a neg-trust deserving behavior? I think it is. If the DT people advise me otherwise, I would gladly remove my feedback or make it neutral.

I guess you just did the right thing. Some users here really relies on trust and making it as their advantage to ruin others, yet in the case of OP, he is aggressively wanted to be part of DT with the objective/intention of having a subjective hate to Lauda and users that had connections with him. This is why I love reading threads at Reputation board, I've seeing lots of users that goes wild in an online community (like who in their right mind would even waste their time arguing in an online community with pure anonymity, arguments would only be scrambled).

Furthermore, efialtis is a good person, as I've seen him actively interacting in gambling section with no further issues of having scams nor promoting ones. Even had no past issues of engaging to the forum politics, but rather preferred to just do his thing and purpose in this forum -- sharing knowledge esp in gambling. Hence, abuse is indeed on the OP.
437  Other / Meta / Re: We are the the most popular smf forum on: November 19, 2020, 08:15:05 PM
~
If youre relating to the forum (Bitcointalk) i would have agreed cause we have a situation where by some users have multiple accounts especially the bounty spammers but Burek could positively have the 5 million users wroted cause it supported adult videos and statistics shows that Billions of people visit adult site everyday.

Well Burek was created back in 2002 (only based on their copyright claims at the bottom of their platform) so there's no doubt why it was much famous (in some countries) than the Bitcointalk and its front end seems still to be nostalgic and 2000 themed like. If it would be created in 2009 (Which this forum started), then it might not be surpassing the forum's overall accounts made.

Also, keep in mind that the discrepancy of the post count and thread count was too huge. Bitcointalk has more active audiences despite of it having only approx half of the Burek's number of users.

And, I still only know about two of those websites within the top leaderboard, and only one more in the SMF run forums, excluding Bitcointalk. Maybe, I'm out of touch?
Forums are usually very niche specific. If you didn't know/care about cryptocurrencies, you probably wouldn't know this forum. If you are not an Android developer or enthusiastic, there is no reason to know XDA. Nothing weird about it.

Indeed. Even I myself only knows XDA and this forum (even shocked that Kanye west has his own forum lol), yet I felt much better that I've registered here early than being on the other forums that doesn't even meet my interests.
438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats causing the re rise of BTC? on: November 19, 2020, 07:43:22 PM
If you're out of the loop: The United States federal reserve has been printing the US Dollar like there's no tomorrow, effectively harming the value of the USD in the long term. This makes bitcoin useful in this case due to it's steady supply distribution, and due to the fact no bitcoin can be minted after 21 million.

Who is buying the bitcoin? That we don't know for sure, but Grayscale's number of bitcoin in custody has risen by a lot, so by this, we could make an assumption that the institutional investors might be buying in. That, or the current bitcoin holders are continuing to buy in, hence the price rise without that much hype(like in 2017) with retail investors.

Indeed. But it wasn't always the huge companies and/or institution's investment to crypto that strongly affects it's price, it is them being trusted by many small investors that is composed of both crypto and non-crypto enthusiasts. By their adaptation of the crypto -- the Bitcoin in particular, the demand rises causing the market to constantly grow and move sideways as the demand and hype being in a current stability. I mean, even the news that the huge companies/institutions make, tends to hype the market (but not for those analysts that sees it to be a huge risk to the crypto)
439  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit account freezed withdrawal on: November 19, 2020, 09:32:53 AM
~
Well, I never experienced that, I get a reply from the support whenever I have a problem with the site, but that was a year ago already since I'm not using Yobit anymore AFAIR.

Well, yobit's platform now and their team, especially their own made forum, were bombarded bu a lot of users that often just there because of the pay per post, and their last year's 1btc prize for the most helpful (lol).

Hence, with that being said, it will really be hard for you to be prioritized nor be answered by any of their team. They've been busy giving money to posters and getting money from investors Grin Furthermore, YOBIT's name here is already flagged, many BTT users had been scammed back then and you might as well not dare to try promoting it.

I never tried it but I've known some who does and still currently posting there, that's why I've known that issues.
