441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: World female football. on: February 02, 2024, 05:27:55 PM
There are some activities here around the female world cup or the euro cup but there's not much discussion about the leagues. As almost all of the popular leagues have an female league running. There could be various reasons for it but the most prominent that's seen of first view are the intensity of the game. The female football is not as fast and physically demanding as male football. It might be due the physique of how we are built. Money and sponsorship follows the games where there are more viewers.
Though we have made much more progress on how much of our female players gets paid and female football is now covered more than ever and still has a long way to go.

India U19 vs Nepal U19
[....]
Today match of Nepal U19 sqaud against India U19 squad of ICC Men Under 19s World cup competition and in both squads have high difference in performance like in batting inning, fielding inning and bowling inning. India U19 squad already completed their batting inning on crease and also India U-19 squad was started this batting inning first by winning toss. India U19 squad displayed their unbelievable performance in batting inning and collected big defeating target of total 297 scores with lost of 5 batters wickets. Now against sqaud Nepal U19 squad needs. 177 scores in 66 deliveries I don't see any hope for Nepal U19 squad for getting victory in this match because they have zero batter remained for play and currently, Durgesh Gupta  anf Aakash Chand these batters are batting on crease and both came in filed recently, Durgesh Gupta collected one scores right now and Aakash Chand batter collected 6 scores let see which India U19 squad bowler picked last wicket of Nepal U19 squad.

It was a long game delayed the 2nd inning by poor weather, Nepal started fine and had a good runrate at the end of 11th over but their downfall started with the first wicket. None of the batsmen made any good effort except for the captain Dev Khanal. There was nothing impressing was presented by the Nepali team except for one of the longest last wicket partnership that led to Nepal batting the whole of 50 overs and not being all out. Nepali team can return home still satisfied, India has been the most impressive team of the whole tournament till date and it was not among the worst defeat from India. Pakistan vs Bangladesh would be one of the deceive match tomorrow.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are people still interested in bankroll investment ? on: February 02, 2024, 03:59:15 PM
The question is in the subject  Kiss I’m genuinely just curious if people are still interested in this because I believe it’s a good way to “HODL” your bitcoin.

Bitcoin bankrolls are still popular. Any secure investment that gives a good interest on coin of choice are always being looked for by investors. There's no investment safe enough that gives more than 5% for bitcoin and if any reputable casino does provide a stable 10%+ profit on bitcoin, people would be interested.
That can't be said true for some other altcoins as there are different rates different exchange and defi are providing for staking.
Among good bankroll site's I knew and used bustabit and bustadice but the owner had further increased the commission on bankroll profit which might have put the effective yearly earning below 10% according to some bankroll investors.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How a $112 Million XRP Hack Shook the Crypto World! on: February 02, 2024, 03:39:01 PM
The effect on Ripple's price was not that dramatic like about 5% in loss but XRP has been on it's lower side for quite a time now and were not increased much compared to other popular coins. Binance and some of the exchanges have flagged and froze the funds deposited on the exchange through the wallets that are in connection to the hack. They might proceed with returning the coin to Chris Larsen. This I suppose is a hack of a personal wallet who happens to be one of the largest holder and a co-founder of the Ripple project. It would add one more stone for the grave of Ripple which already have too many. I hope to see them out of top 10 coins by marketcap within this year.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bullish 2024 ! on: February 02, 2024, 01:58:16 PM
Currently many new projects with large funding raised are listed and it can be said that they are big projects because after listing some of them entered the top 50 of CMC. examples include APTOS ARBITRUM and SUI.
I mean, does the emergence of many new projects like this indicate that bullish is getting closer? What do you think ?

I don't think listing of more good projects actually puts us in bullish state but in contrary, it do diversify the amount of money coming into crypto making it difficult for the market to go on a bullish state. As we further move towards mature and saturated market, the bull run as potent as the last one would become more difficult.
The interest of most people in crypto are due to it's potential of giving in good yield in short period and when it fails to do so, the amount of money coming into the market would decrease and we might see just some small bulls or a bullish trend on single coin which performs better in comparison to the market. Like how Solana did a x6 in a few months while rest of the market moved little.
446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 02, 2024, 12:30:40 PM
I still believe MU won lucky. MU players felt too comfortable after leading, which almost lost them the match. Wolves' comeback was extraordinary, showing tenacity that may have won the game. Football isnt over until the last whistle.

With important games ahead, MU must fix this focus issue. Next up is West Ham, and any distraction might be disastrous. To reach the top four, every point counts. Not even in the dying minutes can MU afford to give their opponents room. Their defense and focus must improve for the full 90 minutes. This Wolves game should wake us up.

Manchester United won the game but that doesn't overrule the fact that Manchester united played poorly. The game should have been sealed right from first half but so many chances were wasted. The entire game management was very bad including the Ten Hang subs decision. Asking Anthony to play from the left when there's Ganarcho in the field is the kind of tactics I still don't understand yet. By the way, how no one is talking about how Onana conceded three goals in the second half is still surprising. Manchester united should better look for alternative goal keeper at the right time which is now else Onana will be making them to struggle in vain. This type of unconvincing winning should not distracting them from making necessary ammendment to the squad entirely.

Wolves did put on a better game than Manchester united fighting till the last moment. It was supposed to be a draw if not for the last minute goal by Mainoo.
The overall performance form both the keepers were not good. As most of those goals conceded were from not being able to collect properly. The last too goals of the game from Neto and Mainoo were unstoppable bot other were avoidable with good defense.
Whatever the performance be, the result came predictable with ManU winning both 90 minutes and the whole game.
447  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you consider the prospects of global economy in 2024? on: February 02, 2024, 07:57:23 AM
Another thing to consider would be the demographics of the world. Almost all of the major economies has a decreasing population. Due to that condition, the demand for valuable goods and service would keep on decreasing.
Illegal immigration of unskilled and uneducated people from third world countries to the developed countries would decrease the quality of life for everyone. This would be more visible in European countries.
US might have capacity to take in more illegal immigrants without any issues but it's internal and external politics would bring major disrupt towards its economy.
Even though there's a rise in renewable energy resources, the number of wars being fought would increase the demand of fossil fuel and metals.
IMF have recently forecasted a better growth rate in 2024 compared to 2023 for most economies.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 02, 2024, 05:55:58 AM
The Real Madrid team has been quite strong this season, but the performance of the Getafe team has been filled with competition. Although the Real Madrid team has many strong and experienced players, they are quite aggressive. But the opposite side also had enough strong and experienced players but they could not score a goal at their home ground. In total, the Getafe team shot 10 shots at the goal post and the Real Madrid team shot 16 shots. But because of the strength of Real Madrid's goalkeeper and defense, Getafe's players were not able to score. The first place in the points table is occupied by the Real Madrid team with only 22 points, but the Real Madrid team is leading the goal difference.

The shots on target is more important than the number of shots as those have chances of actually scoring in that sense, Real Madrid was well ahead of Getafe. Getafe with 2 and real madrid with 9. It means the shot made by Real Madrid were better directed towards post than Getafe.
Other things that determines dominance is possession and pass accuracy where Real Madrid was ahead of Getafe.
And it's not 22 points, 22 are the number of games played by each team currently on the league out of 38. The points Real currently have is 57 which makes them in number 1 spot. The 2nd is Girona FC with 55 points.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KuCoin Spot Grid Bot on: February 02, 2024, 01:56:34 AM
Grid bots are better to start when the coin is at low price. Still grid bot makes profit at any price range within the limit. If he bot is still within the range, I like to keep it running. Your total valuation maybe in negative but the bot keeps earning for every small rise and fall within the price range and when the price of SOL increases you'd have your profit on green. When you bot runs enough even at lower ranges for a long time, it can make a profit larger than what you have lost due to fall in price.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VPN - Differences between countries where gambling is legal and not on: February 01, 2024, 10:18:49 AM
VPN is something that is popular and widely used, including for gambling. Regardless of privacy issues or access to sites that are prohibited in a country. Regardless of whether a casino's policy allows the use of vpn or not, are there any differences in protection for gamblers when they come from countries where gambling is legal?

Such as protection for gamblers who are cheated by casinos because their games are considered suspicious or because their accounts are blocked unilaterally by the casino. If yes, how do report it? if there isn't then there is no difference between countries that legalize gambling and those that don't

I guess most people use VPN to bypass the domain ban on their geo-location. Some countries do actively block the domains associated with gambling sites and for those gambling sites that allows users to use VPN, people on those restricted nations can use VPN to change their location as somewhere else.
But many sites don't allow VPN due to the legal reasons and user using VPN are blocked creating a huge number of angry complaints when it's the users that didn't obeyed the terms.
I have also found a few large gamblers who use VPN (on allowed sites) so that no one could track their real identity. This is particular case is in the casino that don't require KYC are on chain.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Between new tokens and old tokens, which would you invest into? on: January 31, 2024, 03:53:54 PM
The bull market is approaching and after that, the altcoin season will start as it has done in other bullish time for the market. Everyone has to be planning for what they'll buying in preparation for the bull run therefore I have a question for everyone. What altcoins will you be buying in preparation for the altcoin season if you only have limited option to choose between investing in old tokens, projects that were launched before or during last bull market or tokens that were launched between last year, this year and the next year. Let assume you only have $1000 and you can put this money in 1-5 projects but they all have to be either old tokens or new tokens that you'll be buying. Which one will you go for, for those that will think they can choose the two type of projects, that won't be possible. I'm trying to see where the attention of investors go when selecting tokens to invest into for the altcoin season.

The best way forward is to diversify your investment even if you are heavily in favor of a coin.
I'm more bullish on utility coins. So I have a bigger investment on cheaper utility coins like Sui and Ton. But I also maintain a healthy balance of old ones like fantom, matic, solana and bnb.
Even though I'm not much bullish on bitcoin, I've recently add up some in order to keep stability in my portfolio.
I'm always looking for newer promising coins as I believe these coins are the ones that would yield x10 profit in next couple of years, sometimes adjusting while sometimes jumpin ships.

Bangladesh U-19 VS Nepal U-19

U19 World Cup Super Six match Bangladesh U19 vs Nepal U19 match has started. Nepal U19 won the toss and decided to bat. Nepal U19 team has collected 86 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 14 overs so far. Nepal U19 team is under pressure after losing 3 important wickets. Bishal Bikram KC and Dev Khanal are both at the crease, both of them need to bat patiently. If they both get out quickly, Nepal U19 will not be able to set a target of more runs. Let's see how many runs the Nepal U19 team is able to target in the end.

However, to survive in the race for the semi-finals, Bangladesh U19 team will have to win today's match by a big margin. Let's see how well Bangladesh can perform today.
The match between Bangladesh U19 vs Nepal U19 is still going on. I don't think Nepal can make much of an advantage as they have already lost eight wickets. Under pressure after three wickets fell for 29 runs, 4th wicket partnership Bikram and Dev Khanal put on a 62-run stand try to put the team in control but Dev Khanal was dismissed for 35 by Jishan Alam. Nepal's current score is 138/8 in 43 overs. For Bangladesh, Sheikh Paevez Jibon took three wickets with 34 runs in 10 overs. I think Nepal team score team will not go above 160+runs. Hope Bangladesh U19 team will win this match very easily.
In today's match, Nepal U19 did not perform very well against Bangladesh, especially after winning the toss and opting to bat, they ended up scoring 169 runs all out. Bangladesh Under 19 team will not go for too hard hit on the target of 170 runs. Considering the performance of the Bangladesh U19 team, scoring 170 runs is not too many wickets to lose. Not to mention Bangladesh's bowling line-up especially Borson who took 4 wickets for just 19 runs in 8.5 overs and sheikh Parvej Jibon took 3 wickets for just 34 runs in 10 overs.

Bangladesh needs 170 runs from 300 balls to win, which doesn't seem like a hard task. Bangladesh U19 team displayed brilliant bowling, and now, hopefully, they can continue their good performance with the bat. Their batters appear to be in good form, already taking charge against the Nepali bowlers. It looks like Bangladesh U19 aims to reach the target as quick as possible.
Yes, looking at the batting of the Bangladesh team, it seems that the Bangladesh U19 team will achieve this goal very easily. But the batsmen of Bangladesh U19 team need to be a bit careful. Because Bangladesh has lost three wickets so far. Although the target of 170 runs is not a big target for the Bangladesh U19 team, it is very important for the Bangladesh U19 team to keep wickets. Bangladesh under 19 team has already collected 119 runs for three wickets after playing 20 overs. Bangladesh U19 team needs only 53 more runs to win this match.  Bangladesh U19 is going to win this match very easily against Nepal U19

A win from bangladesh now they require to have an impressive win on Pakistan to qualify further. Nepal did took some good wickets but Jishan and Ariful were spectacular.
Afghanistan and USA are also playing in a low scoring match. Afghanistan is chasing a target of 149 and had made 80 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 30 over. Afghanistan is a fighting team and I believe they'd win this consolidatory match.
Australia vs England was a match that could have mattered in the table. England had a good run rate but lost it's fourth wicket before the rain stopped the play. A DL would certainly favor England.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: January 31, 2024, 01:18:46 PM
Privacy is a necessary feature in my opinion, but why hasn't Monero become a main coin?

Monero is a privacy focused coin that makes it popular to people who wants their payments to be untraceable. And Monero is so much effective in that sense that it is one of the most used coins for people laundering money, funding terrorism and providing illegal goods and services. It's the coin of choice for darkweb marketplace. It is often associated with crimes and hence considered a criminal coin.
That's why it's a prime target for law enforcement agencies. They are doing all they can to crack down and stop the use of Monero. They have made it such difficult to buy and sell Monero that normal traders and investors who have nothing to hide don't bother taking the trouble of owning it.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies with Good utility smart investment for the long haul? on: January 31, 2024, 10:55:38 AM
I recently came across the project API3, which has gained listing on top tier Exchanges such as Bitget, Binance, and OKX. Intrigued by its potential, I delved into its use case and discovered that it utilizes decentralized APIs to enable data providers to offer their services directly on the blockchain. This piqued my interest as it signifies the increasing importance of blockchain technology, which has the capability to eliminate intermediaries, provide transparent and immutable records, enhance security, and automate settlements.

I have observed a growing number of blockchain use cases that are developing solutions to bridge the gap between off-chain data and on-chain applications with maximal security. These use cases span a variety of industries including supply chain management, healthcare records, voting systems, cross-border payments, and food safety, among others. As these developments unfold, it raises the question of whether cryptocurrencies with strong utility have the potential to be a wise long-term investment.

For long haul, utility coins are what we should look form. Bitcoin is safe but we can't expect it to go more than x3 at current price over the years to come. Memecoins are the ones giving x100 on short period but they are too risky and not as a long term investment.
Not all utility coins are the same, Ethereum though a pioneer in smart contract and dapps are now heavily lagging behind, many popular utility coins like XEM, NEM and even ADA never made a difference before being blow out by the competition. It's still a good idea to look at the prospectus of the coins and adjust depending on how the market is maturing.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for Jupiter (JUP)!!!! on: January 31, 2024, 10:09:43 AM
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/jupiter

What you think about this token? Been a big big build up and talk about this and a extreme hype for a very long time now and finally we soon ready for launch.
Will it be a success or a failure? However, be aware and be ready. This will be fun to follow!  Grin

Disclaimer: This is not a financial advice in any way, if you gonna invest in this coin it's on your own risk and do your own research and I don't stand behind the Jupiter team in any way.

Jupiter certainly could be a good option to have in your portfolio. They are currently the pancakeswap for Solana network.
As the use of Solana network gets increased, it's predictable to think jupiter dex would have increased volume. And their launchpool is attracting one of the largest investment in cryptosphere. They have been dubbed memecoin factory of 2024. But there are some obvious risks.
A lot of defi and lauchpool are being introduced in the Solana network as its the network with largest growth. The spectacular rise of Jupiter may follow with a downtrend.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are memecoins really important for the crypto market? on: January 30, 2024, 02:59:09 AM
  • Do you support the existence of memecoin in the crypto market?
Yes, I support the existence of memecoins because the crypto market remains active even during bear markets. For me, memecoins add an element that prevents the crypto world from becoming dull. Imagine a crypto space without memecoins, everything would be too serious and monotonous. That's why I believe memecoins will continue to have a presence in the crypto world. It's up to us to decide if we're willing to face the risks associated with memecoins when considering investing in them.

Whether we like it or not meme coin makes a large part of current crypto volume. They are a force worth reckoning.
So, I'd say I support meme coin as they have kept crypto popular and brought in a large number of new people and new funds to the market.
I have for several times invested in meme tokens. I had invested and held on Dogecoin in the past but I don't hold it now. The most hodled memecoin by me at the moment is Pepe, followed by Popcat. The meme trend has shifted towards Solana network so I'll be looking for more Solana memecoin in the future.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins have dropped at least 10x in this bear market and will easily 10x on: January 29, 2024, 05:48:15 PM
As title says, for example Solana dropped 10x, will it easily 10x again during next bull cycle in late 2025?
Last time round I bet on BCH to 10x having dropped 10x.... IT DID SWEET FA.

What say you?  Wink

If you consider the low between two subsequent all time highs, almost all coin are doing a x10 loss and more than x10 rise every time.
Considering the gap between bulls, there are also a large number of coins that achieve this feat. A good example is solana which rose to as high as $200 and fell below $10 to again rise above $100 after 2 years. Even at the moment Solana is being traded over $100.
There are other coins like Solana that could in future see that growth like TON and Sui, both L1 opens which are better than solana on paper.
458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: $35K or $45K next? on: January 29, 2024, 05:31:53 PM
Bitcoin is converging towards the 40K to 45K section. 39-40K is now established as a good support as bitcoin rose back after reaching near 38K and there's a resistance around 45K, it would take some time for bitcoin to break to any of those sides and I believe the price would remain on the same band for the rest of the week.
There's a higher chance of it hitting and crossing 45K than going to 35K as there's a good support at 39-40K and the general trend for crypto had been positive for last few months. It just takes a few good news for bitcoin to rise above 50K.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 29, 2024, 04:33:41 PM
Bayern Leverkusen had a draw in their last game with Bayern Munich having a narrow win against Augsburg, it would reduce the point difference. Bayern Munich are really catching up and it would be a disaster if the league leaders (Bayern Leverkusen) drop out in this title race because many football lovers have tipped them (Bayern Leverkusen) to win the league this season.
Is just two points that's separating both teams and I feel the pressure is going to be on Leverkusen, they're now going to be in a hurry to first get a goal to win any of their games and their style of play might change. I just hope Alonso will be calm and also tell the to play as if they have no one coming to over take them in the league table and if they do so I think they're certain of 3pts in every game, the absence of Victor Boniface is also affecting them.
A two point lead over Bayern Munich is very unsafe for Bayer Leverkusen because the two teams will meet in Week 21 on 11 February. The only problem Bayer Leverkusen faced when facing Borussia Monchengladbach was their lack of clinical skills in completing opportunities, of course this problem is a weakness that must be resolved before they face Bayern Munich at BayArena.

Bayern Munich are very enthusiastic after they are only two points behind Leverkusen, the burning enthusiasm will certainly give a different feel when these two teams face each other. Tuchel is very enthusiastic about his team's current performance, while Xabi Alonso must find solutions to increase the use of opportunities.
The coach's ingenuity will be tested in this big match, whoever wins this match will be the leader of the standings.

Draw against a team like Monchengladbach was an unlucky incident for the team. Leverkusen were dominant in every expects and created multiple attempts to the post but missed the by a little margin or prevented by the keeper or the defender. Still Leverkusen is the only team undefeated in this league.
The deteriorated form of Bayren Munich is an advantage for Leverkusen. With 15 more games left for both of the team, it's still early to call out a winner and the ultimate decision could be met when these team meet again, It was a draw the last time they met at Allianz Arena and now they are meeting again on February 10, this time at BayArena.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your stance on SUI on: January 29, 2024, 03:55:25 PM
Sui is the project started by developers of Libra project, a project that failed before it actually started. They put sui as the direct competitor to solana and on paper it looks better.
For example the TPS of Solana is 50K while that of sui is 100K. That means it can handle more transaction than solana network and would be quicker.
They claim to have better security than solana with their "Byzantine Fault Tolerance-based consensus mechanism and object-centric design".
The fees too are much less than Solana but the traffic solana is handling in compare to sui is even larger. The future really depends on how the developer takes it and how the developer and users react to it.
