1101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's discuss: How big will the next correction be? And when will it occur? on: November 11, 2020, 12:58:55 PM
Though my last prediction was a bit wrong, I have had a good profit from holding and trading bitcoins in the last 6 months.
The price at the moment is holding in and upper zone without any correction, so a correction is highly likely but before that, there's even a chance for a quick price boost that may even get bitcoin to new all time high. That's a probability but what has a higher probability is bitcoin's price would correct to about 12K in my prediction.
1102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Billionaire Hedge Fund Investor Reveals That He Owns Bitcoin on: November 10, 2020, 03:25:03 PM
Many millionaires and rich people own bitcoin, but for some reason do not talk about it out loud.

This is why:

https://cryptosec.info/wrench-attack/

Nice and simple way to explain it. It's also the same reason early miners and holders don't reveal their identity and are extra careful while making transactions. Physical assault for bitcoin is rare but present. There was a real case a few years back in England when someone was forced to give the attackers his bitcoins.
I believe most of the billionaires are already having a good stake of bitcoin, most of these people are smart and they know when they see an opportunity to make money.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUY 32 ETH on: November 10, 2020, 01:52:39 PM
Even if you won't be able to gather 32 ETH or don't want to get in the complexity of staking them, I believe binance would enable staking on the platform with a cut for themselves. This could be still a win-win situation as investors don't need to maintain the VPS themselves and they'll get the assurance of binance safety. But the transformation to POS model have been delayed a lot and the day is still out of sight.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc vs ethereum on: November 10, 2020, 09:11:44 AM
BTC and ETH are fundamentally different and I guess they would be different in price as well.
Bitcoin has nothing to stop it from reaching a million but for Ethereum, an increase in price means low usability as it would increase the fees. Ethereum needs to be fast and cheap for it's used for transferring tokens and making a smart contract transaction happen in Defi and other types of dapps. I don't think Ethereum would be more profitable than bitcoin in long run but still they are a stable currency for short term investment.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scam? ICO Scam? IEO Scam and Now DeFi Scam? on: November 09, 2020, 03:13:24 PM
Scammers flocks onto those sectors which are popular. At current time, DEFI has larger number of scams than any other sector in crypto cause Defi got an inflated degree of attention from the investors. Real Defi are the future of crypto based finance but it doesn't mean each and every defi that comes forward would be an entire success. Just a few of them that does it right, gets the early users and keeps on adjusting with the demand of time would flourish while 90% of Defi we know as of yet would go out of business.
1106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When did we find out Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudonym? on: November 08, 2020, 05:47:39 PM
The people close to satoshi and bitcoin might have found it soon for satoshi's fondness for anonymity. Satoshi had take his/her/its steps so carefully not to leave a track. Anyone tracking satoshi's behavior would have found it.
I came to know about satoshi after he left bitcoin, so I was introduced to satoshi as an pseudonym but the funny thing is I've seen several papers and books still claiming Satoshi Nakamoto as a person and some even go further to call him a Japanese citizen.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for ETH on: November 08, 2020, 05:31:43 PM
Ethereum has seen a larger growth than bitcoin over the last week. This was just correction against bitcoin price as it was much disproportioned in the last month. But as the market comes to stability and Ethereum 2.0 comes into effect, we could aspect larger recovery on Ethereum price as the current price is still 31% of all time high compared to 79% for bitcoin.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 08, 2020, 04:49:01 PM
For me, the best time of buying a coin is in the higher low of a bullish trend for a well established coin. When you are going with ICO, IEO or any new coins, you're risking more. When you jump into the low side of a bear, you never know when the price would come up. But when you buy on lows of a bullish trend, you are quite sure to make a profit or if the price don't play as you aim, you can sell them for quick exit without a large loss.
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it over for Binance IEO? on: November 07, 2020, 12:51:44 PM
Surely it was the Binance's halo that were shining every of the previous IEO and as people are getting used to the older IEOs and those IEO now giving mixed results, people are now much more cautious about new IEOs coming to the platform. It was much more hyped in the past and the token reached a price much more than they are worth. As the results are apparent now, investors are also thinking for a long term.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Massive Adoption on: November 06, 2020, 03:47:48 PM
It's been a year of realization for private companies. They have accepted crypto as the future of finance and have jumped into the wagon or are trying to come up with their own cryptocurrency. But still the government around the world are reluctant if not oppressive towards the use and adoption of bitcoin and other crypto currencies. Some have realized the potential but are forcing users towards a centrally controlled token.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another 2017 kinda year is already around the corner on: November 06, 2020, 10:16:39 AM
Things are very much different from in the 2017. The only thing that matches is a bullish crypto prices.
The bull of 2017 was powered by another factor while this time it's powered by a much more diverse situation.
As claimed, bitcoin has been a choice for many large corporations and funds as well as a escrow for creating bitcoin pegged tokens on different platforms. The current price increase in bitcoin is much more sustainable and if there's any correction, that would be smaller.
1112  Economy / Speculation / Re: New peak: $14500. No bearish sign. Keep it up the King on: November 05, 2020, 03:12:19 PM
We are probably testing $14,900 currently and I don't think this will stay for long enough at the same phase. With more people getting into bitcoin as they were during the mid of 2017, we would be experiencing new highs as days passes. A percentage of people who came in at 2017 stayed all the way to experience this and new coiners would start coming in at large numbers as prices tend to test new highs.

As @BrewMaster said, we would most likely be experiencing FOMO and panic selling but nevertheless alts are never going to pump as high as they were in 2017 since almost 90% of crypto population got to know they are useless for the community and majority are just mere scams. Also we have got quite a few new names got into the crypto scene like DeFi and NFT while the latter has real world potential and would probably bring in more artists to the space sooner. Considering these factors, I guess we would be surpassing $20k atleast at some point next year or within this year
take it easy the price of bitcoin I am sure it will recover to the price of $ 19k as happened in 2017, at least we have to prepare a very large amount of bitcoin to be able to get a profit when the price of bitcoin rises and of course have to wait patiently because rising bitcoin prices require a very long process and of course it takes a lot of money to break the price you mention.

It's showing a huge pumped and more and more fomo's are coming, need to be very careful as there are chances as always to
suffer another dumped and make sure to paly your cards well.

This massive pumped really showing the potential that history is repeating itself, before this year ends, the value more likely be
touching $15k or more.

surely the market is much more resistive than the last time. Many people would be willing to cashout their profit. 15K is a testing resistance. There bound to be a correction but with so much people and companies into bitcoin, it is sure to achieve higher lows and higher highs. I think it would be wise to sell some of your coins (around 14.9K) if you already are in profit.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of DeFi on: November 05, 2020, 01:45:11 PM
Disadvantages of DeFi

1. Not truly decentralized cos many are switching smart contract
2. There have been some hack cases on DeFi projects only so they aren't really secured.
3. DeFi looks nothing like real decentralized Finance but more like HYIP planet.

These symptoms and results of bad and fake DEFIs. A real DEFI would not have these problems.
Defi though a popular concept, is still far from perfect. They have a long way to go to become trustworthy and useful.
As for the price hype of DEFI tokens, it's catalyzed by scammer and fueled by stupid investors. There are no multiplying profit on Defi, anyone promising them is a scam and anyone hoping for that is stupid. DEFI is a convenience and cheap platforms that connects the two parties for their financial needs.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hurray! Binance did it again on: November 04, 2020, 03:31:16 PM
There certainly are brainy people on Binance. Unlike previous exchanges, they try to keep their users with building trust and feeling of security around them. No wonder they are a clear leader on crypto market for years now. One of the interesting thing I loved about them is they sent me an email this morning about a blog from them that called Defi to be the future. They clearly know what's coming and are not afraid to accept it.
1115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spot Trading vs Margin Trading - Which is the best Strategy? on: November 04, 2020, 12:58:31 PM
Margin trading is just doing spot trading with borrowed funds.
Do your spot trading and when you are confident that you can bring in a profit, you can try trading with some margins. Don't take margins unless you excel your spot trading strategies. Profit and losses both are increased on margin trading.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Say Bitcoin is scam on: November 03, 2020, 02:52:43 PM
Whether or not something is scam depends on it's usefulness and how much people have confidence on it.
Bitcoin at current time is a universally accepted value which have often been prioritized than the national currencies issued by some nations. People in nations with high inflation currency and low confidence has been choosing bitcoin for safeguarding the value of their money. For the Bitcoin is more legit than their fiat.
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safeguarding funds , your funds on exchanges are safe? on: November 03, 2020, 01:01:37 PM
I am aware of all this but there are different preferences of different people regarding the funds they hold.
It is a wise idea for long term hodlers to put their coins in a wallet they have a private key to or even put them on hardware wallet or paper wallet.
But that can't be claimed same for a trader. For a trader, larger the liquidity is, larger it can profit from the market.
And anyone wanting to invest in new coins through IEO, they can't do that while hodling their coins in wallet.
1118  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Only the Fools are making the cartoons of Mohamed on: November 03, 2020, 12:58:24 PM
I respect every religion for their cultural significance but everyone who still believes there's a superior force that asks you to harm anyone not following him is the real stupid here.
1119  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: November 03, 2020, 12:55:41 PM
I hope whoever loses, would accept their defeat in a democratic way and not conspire for interference from internal and external forces. May they respect the voters' mandate.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $20+Day! Villages in Philippines survive Covid playing Axie Infinity on: November 01, 2020, 01:28:48 AM
Covid would certainly have a permanent change on how we work, dine and entertain. It was a fun time for many introverts and now people have realized that they could work, dine and entertain indoors provided they have an internet connection. Internet has became an integral part of everyones life and it has brought people closer to crypto whether through dapps gaming or investment prospective.
