1201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized exchange volumes hit $23.5 billion in September on: October 03, 2020, 12:43:07 AM
Uniswap has proven to be a game changer and revolutionary platform especially when we talk of decentralized exchange platforms. It is also a fact that due to the revenue earning part through yield farming this type of dexes are popular and market is seeing it as a X factor that gives it an edge over ots competitors.
DEX are indeed growing over the past years and the current updates of many projects helps them a lot.
UNISWAP made a great service despite of the doubt before. The volume increases because of many good projects listed on DEX and some investors prefer to remain anonymous. Well, CEX and DEX are both good, it will just depend of the preference of the users and where they think can earn more. I’m using DEX to trade some new good tokens, its good to have many options.

DEX are the better options but they have limitations that makes CEX still an important part of crypto trading. If decentralized exchanges effectively achieve cross chain integrations, there would be no reason to visit centralized exchange for converting their coin from one to another. DEX still needs work to master margin and leveraged trading options as they can't be as flexible and quick to provide them as a CEX. CEX are still popular with day traders as the trade their is much fast paced than on DEX.
DEX volume would keep on increasing but it would take a great deal to win that of CEX.
1202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump gets Covid and we Crash? on: October 02, 2020, 04:49:15 PM
There's no reason for it to be so but there are some recent graphs and movements which shows a similar pattern of price changes in US stocks and bitcoin. And as the presidential election approaches, the politics is going to make a difference on the prices. On last presidential debate, Joe Biden promised to make people pay their tax and close any loopholes and tax rebates possible. That's certainly going to affect perception of some rich people on Joe Biden's probable presidency. And Trumps confinement for a week could make a difference, at least in the emotions of investors.
1203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: October 02, 2020, 03:43:47 PM
According to Wikipedia

A high roller, also referred to as a whale, is a gambler who consistently wagers large amounts of money.

I am not a high roller but have had some high rolls I regretted for a long time. And of-course repeated. I'm still in the process of controlling myself from rage bets and I'm somewhat convinced with the progress. I haven't at least gambled my whole bank balance for an entire year now. Meanwhile I've seen a lot of highrollers and their fates on online gambling. Most of them making a good progress and being greedy to lose it all again.
The win are always co-related with the amount you bet and the risk you take whatever be the game. There's just a small difference of house edge.
1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your seed? on: October 02, 2020, 03:17:35 PM
Not the safest Idea but I store my seed on the cloud but not just as simply. I always place two random words at fixed word count. I just remember the two counts, never the words and omit those two words while recovering my wallet. There are risks involved but this way, it's much difficult for anyone to crack open my address even though they find some or most of the info.
I have done similar things with private keys. Just two random characters would make it amazingly hard to crack even if they found the keys. For a large amount, I too would recommend a hardware wallet as it provides an extra level of security.
1205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 02, 2020, 01:58:37 PM
I think this year Uefa Champions League will even more beautiful to watch than it usually is in the group stages because of the awesome draw that has put many strong teams in the same group like Real Madrid and Inter in one group,Juventus and Barcelona in one group and so on.Lastly I am impressed with Ferencvaros making it to the group stage.

They seem much more balanced than last time. Two of the top teams would advance to knockout round and it's largely predictable which would be those team in most of the groups.  Though the large team clashing early are would be entertaining to watch as they might even get a second chance to play with one another in knock out stage.
Things do remains dynamic in football but there a lesser interval between the last finals and this one. And in my opinion, Munich and PSG would still be the strongest for the tournament.
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash what are your thoughts? on: October 02, 2020, 12:54:16 PM
The current buzz about the (highly) probable bitcoincash fork took some of my attention. I like most others who loves bitcoin had always considered bitcoincash a cheap copy. But while learning about the fork and the reasons for it, the development work in bitcoin cash and it's roadmap amused me. There are many things that are interesting and some of those works were being discussed for bitcoin network but are in verge of coming in action on bitcoincash.
The reason for the upcoming fork seems to be the decision of bitcoincash team to take a levy from miners to develop the network. The ones not happy with the levy thing are branching off. Both of those idea seems to be valid, one moving towards centralized development while another favoring bitcoin's approach to volunteer involvement.
1207  Other / Off-topic / Re: Health is Wealth: You Take Supplements? on: October 02, 2020, 12:48:48 PM
Vitamins and supplements are recommended only when you can't afford to fulfill the needed amount through your diet.
If you are living in a remote place where you can't find the food you need, if you have special dietary needs and if you are allergic to some food or you are a vegan, you may need to take some supplements but always do it with prescription from your physician.
1208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If all BTC Gets Bought Up? on: October 01, 2020, 04:35:39 PM
I can be sure that no one can buy all bitcoins, because so many bitcoins are still in wallets where the key is gone.
In case bitcoins are bought in large quantities by an organization or individual, the price will probably go up because the supply is scarce, but that is very unlikely.

I'm seeing this saying as not representing what can happen in far future. I believe that in future that bitcoin will all be mined and purchased no matter how costly the price will be. Even it is scarce, you still see sellers making their price and buyers ready to make payment for it.

Bitcoin is something we have never experienced in this world. It's a strange value. There are several ways a limited valuable things can turn to.
With the block reward decreasing with time, we assume the transaction fees would sustain the need of energy required for mining. But with higher price, higher transaction prices and lower transactions, many miners would not be able to sustain themselves bringing more risk to the blockchain. Though I am bullish on bitcoin, I believe, we need to address a number of things so that the bitcoin would be both safe and profitable. If we are not able to do that, people would do what they have always done to things that rare and expensive, find an alternative.
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: October 01, 2020, 12:26:16 PM
I don't believe such drama but if it's true then it's advantageous to bettors who knew it and not for those who don't. There are many accusations of it being rigged and some have even deep analysis, you can find it on the web. Here's an example of it: Is the NBA rigged? Yes and no. Deep data analysis of the Last Two Minute Reports

If it's really rigged then it matters not to the small bettors but to those high rollers.

It's hard to prove if the NBA is rigged just because of referee's errors and it's not only NBA other sports have their own share of referees error, although there were reports in the past that the league has insinuated that they favoured team that were trailing in the league, but it's just all hearsay, the NBA will crumble if there are verified reports that the NBA is indeed rigged.

This is a billion dollar business and reports of NBA rigged will definitely harmed the league, and if it's rigged then the high rollers and those who gets tipped will be favoured.

NBA used to be a center for match fixing in the past. After several players being suspended for points shaving and as the income of players kept on rising, the fixing of points by player is on decrease as it's not worth the effort for the risk. Basketball is a fast paced, team game which is hard to be fixed by individual players. There had been individual cases like of referee Tim Donaghy who used to bet on matches he was referee on.
Another opinion for it to be called a rigged game is it's becoming more like an entertaining event rater than a real competition where players and officials would try to make a show for the viewers more from activities not related to the game. Some people even argue that some of the drama there are pre-planned.

Used the working signature. I have a synced node now. Should I reapply with the synced wallet address or previous address would work?
Still can't get a validation code. Can anyone send me one?

$2 000 - minimum 250 eligible participants
- $1 000 - minimum 150 eligible participants
- $500 - minimum 100 eligible participants
- $400 - minimum 70 eligible participants
- $300 - minimum 50 eligible participants
- $200 - minimum 20 eligible participants
- $100 - 1-19 eligible participants

Is it for real $2k for 250 eligible participants?  2000 / 250 = $8 each  Grin  Grin I didn't know if this allocation is for weekly payment or for the period of September - December, I know that my comment looks pathetic, but your need to clarify your allocation, because most of the bounty hunter here confused. Or if it is real, no one will join your campaign FOR SURE.

GOOD LUCK!!

No buddy you didn't fully appreciate the math.

REDOT.COM is a very advanced exchange, which is giving in addition to the money that you stated 70% of it's profit to any user you bring.

This is completely outside the market, i.e. no exchange is giving such a large bonus. Further, percent of other users commissions continue accruing well after the bounty is over throughout 2021.

Please have a look again - it's one of the best bounties on BTT.

So, the budget is for a week or for the entire campaign?

To clarify about the the Signature campaign.
If 10 people are eligible for stakes on a certain week, $100 would be divided between them on the ratio of their stakes, isn't it?
And there $100 for 1 to 19 and $500 for 100 minimum, so what would be the budget when there are 50 eligible participants?

Mask won't save you now.

But the system struggles to identify people with both a mask and sunglasses, he said.

“In this situation, all of the key facial information is lost. In such cases recognition is tough,” Huang said.

And as of mask advertisement, there are already enough people advertising political and racial views on their mask.

1219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ClipX steals KYC data and shuts down on: September 18, 2020, 03:22:41 PM
I knew there was something fishy going on when they came up with the KYC idea for every participants. That's why though being a good stake holder of that campaign, I didn't went through the KYC. If they were genuine, they would not have called it off a failed fundraising after gathering KYC info of users.
1220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: History will be repeating itself, invest wisely. on: September 08, 2020, 05:20:57 PM
People should be realistic while investing. Jumping in for trend or someone endorsed a coin would not be a good idea. The supply and demand would generate the exact price. Be sure what's the supply of the coin and how much would you think it'd be demanded in coming years. If it's a yielding coin or a POS, calculate both your interest and inflation. Though people have different strategy while trading, the ones that chooses a good coin and holds till they get a good price wins the most.
