1143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 19, 2020, 01:05:08 PM
It's all the same for every gambling site. There's no use of reading 12 pages of useless things.
Just be sure about a few things though
1. Does they allow your country or not.
2. Does they allow VPN and multi account or not.(many don't)
3. Do they require KYC for every users or not. (most don't but all of them would ask one if found your behavior suspicious)

Other things like currency, exchange and house edges would be easily found when you are in action inside the site.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stellar CEO to Take Part in Conference Hosted by IMF on: October 18, 2020, 04:12:12 PM
It's good to see stellar stays on the news for various reasons. I don't think representing on the conference is going to help stellar project in any way but it's good for Denelle Dixon to be one of the person to represent crypto community. What makes me more excited is IMF is starting to discuss such thing now. IMF is the global entity for money circulation and regulations and crypto is just bypassing them. They might be dreaming to place some authority above crypto but they would never succeed on it.
1145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 18, 2020, 03:01:06 PM
Kolkata Knight Riders are struggling at 110 for 4 wickets down in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Russell has once again failed to make a big score and is out on only 9 runs. KKR needs to get someone else in place of Russell to strengthen the middle order.

Gone are the days when the West Indian batsmen used to dominate the IPL. There was a time when players such as Gayle, Pollard, Russell and Bravo could single-handedly lead their teams to victories. The bowlers nowadays know how to deal with them. Apart from Nicholas Pooran, none of the West Indian batsmen have impressed their critics this time.

West Indians were known to be the hard hitters. Gayle and pollard with their large sizes could easily hit the ball outside the boundary if they be able to get their full bat on it. But with such small over format, the game has became so technical that bowlers try different things to not let batsmen get their bats as effectively. It's also the exposure that's helping bowlers shape their bowling against the players.

Kolkata won over Sun Risers as they are trying to stay in line for the playoffs. While it seems Mumbai Indains have some initial trouble against Punjab. It would be a setback for them if they lost against an easier team.
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The rise of BCH on: October 18, 2020, 02:13:28 PM
The recent rise in price of BCH is also attributed to a fork of this coin on around November 15. A large group of developers and supporters of Bitcoincash led by lead developer Amaury Sechet are creating a new coin from existing bitcoincash blockchain differing in the ideas that's been guiding bitcoincash.
Many users believe holding the Bitcoincash would have a good profit of getting both coins, just like the way when the Bitcoin SV forked.
1147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's in the game, after all? on: October 18, 2020, 10:20:05 AM
Most of us were introduced to gambling as a kid in fairs. Be it the ring game, plinko or rotating circle (roulette) or the classic dice. Our parent and guardian gave us money to play each game. Wining was not the motivation there. As we grew up and started having pocket money, we might have done P2P bets with friends on sports, events and whether who was right about something. We might have played some poker on gatherings. There were some sense of profit but it's still was mostly fun. People starts gambling as an entertainment, a way to have fun in your spare time. But as they starts being adult and get addicted to it, they aspect the profit more than anything.
1148  Economy / Exchanges / Re: localbitcoins is still exisiting im surprised on: October 17, 2020, 03:43:37 PM
It used to be a good place for people around here to deal with crypto using cash but their recent changes and policy and stricter stance have made every of the dealers disappear. With a large number of people being involved in crypto now, most of the trading happen through facebook and telegram groups as its nearly the same as local bitcoins with dealers with better rates and reviews getting most customers. There are still on real life OTCs here as the legal instance of the government is still not clear. Restaurants and shops putting on the bitcoin accepted here labels were forced to remove them. Localbitcoin is not as popular here as they used to be.
1149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 17, 2020, 01:29:55 PM
Its 2 -2 by now. Everton is really good. Ancelotti does change the face of the club and make them become stronger than ever. I believe Everton will go a long way this season. Who knows. They might become the champion of the season like what Leicester did in 2016. Make your big bet on this black horse and definitely, they will not make your regret
I know this kind topic will appears ..

The thing is that winning a league requires a well built mentality, so far so good for everton but doesn't mean it would be easy to maintain it even in case they managed to stay on top for the first half of the season.. things in Premier League could changed in secs!
Still yeah there's no harm to put $20 or $50 in it , the odds won't be as great as Leicester 5,000x but I'm sure it would worth the risk too if you do it by now in early season.

It's 2-3 now anyway.. Liverpool scored through Henderson at 90+3' with great assist from mane , everton played with 10 mean tho after richarlisson sent off.
Liverpool takeover the top spot for now.
2 - 2 Draw on Fulltime

VAR in action and the goal disallowed. Certainly the most exciting game of this season. So much drama going over there in the last of minutes. Red cards and goal celebrations and sadness. And overall it's a draw for Everton against Liverpool in the home ground of Liverpool. This is a solid milestone that could make Everton the champions after a long long time.
1150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 17, 2020, 11:47:19 AM
Liverpool 1 - 0 everton

we are already winning, but Everton is working hard to score a goal and that's not good

The game is just wow. I wanted to know how good are actually Everton or are they just winning on lucks. But they are seriously the better team here. They are playing with the defending champion of the league and they don't look the inferior side. They are playing much better than what I expect and don't forget that this is an away match for Everton. I won't be in hurry to decide the winner here.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Altcoins That Suddenly Make the Top 25 Marketcap List? on: October 17, 2020, 09:32:14 AM
Some of the latest addition on top 25 were defi based tokens thanks to the defi hype. But I don't think they will remain there for long as every hype is followed by a correction. There are more and more stable coins entering this list as there are many being issued mostly with an escrow from real currency so as to facilitate crypto trading. The wrapped btc is btc backed token and their cap comes within the cap of bitcoin as well. Adding them up would make the total marketcap unrealistic.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why FOMO isn't as bad as people make it seem. on: October 17, 2020, 07:41:09 AM
When people talk about trade, they do talk about legit coins that have probably would exist for a good time in future.
But again trading is also a game with the numbers, what people say might not always be what people do. You should listen to everyone and try different things to find what suits you the best. If everyone follows the same strategy, it would not be profitable anymore.
Investing on pump and dumps and ponzis are a different thing and would be considered more a gambling than trading.
1153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 17, 2020, 12:02:42 AM

I also don't understand how the let Suarez go, moreover to a top League rival but to be fair Barcelona have not been that bad so far. They have easily been scoring goals as compared to Real Madrid and this might come to effect at the upcoming El clasico if everything remains constant.
Spanish laliga seasons has only two el-clasico matches one at the camp nou the other at the spanish capital, but there are 30 plus games for barcelona and real madrid after this two games bragging rights left out el-clasico will not crown this seasons spanish la liga champion.

Coaman is working hard on barcelona and it evidence by this seasons few matches more players would come in next year -january-.

Even though the points to win needs to be acquired from all games and the team that has more losses and or draw would come second, we can't still imagine any third team wining the league. And if it's just Barcelona or Real Madrid winning, people would be curious to know which of these team is the best one. El-Classico brings the two giants on same match. Though most of the time, El-Classico is not decisive for league, it's for the fans.
1154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not store your wallet on the exchange, store it on your crypto wallet. on: October 16, 2020, 04:37:35 PM
I think it's both of insecurity and greed.
People don't have trust on themselves and their devices/browsing habit and don't prefer/afford a hardware wallet. They'd find it easier to store in exchange.
People want to earn from their idle money. Exchanges provides both savings and trade profit for traders, which on sufficient amount could be a good income.
Though I have a good portion of my coins in my wallet, that hasn't increased in quite a time as I have discovered it's much profitable to trade than keep my coins idle.
1155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 16, 2020, 04:18:37 PM
Watching how covid-19 is unfolding in Italy Juventus Napoli 3-0 is probably the first result of a long bad streak. They are talking about selective regional lockdowns and if they happen forget about Serie A. Still, Juve-Napoli was ridiculously handled from all the involved parties.

To tell you the truth, those infections are making me feel suspicious about them.
It is now the time that we are heading to winter and people are not going so much out of their homes but still infections are rising in Italy. And again a huge portion of the infections is coming from Serie A. While Ronaldo is tested positive he is "quarantined" himself in his pool...

I don't think they'll shut everything up like the first time. People and specially athletes would get along with the virus. The ones being infected would quarantine themselves while healthy ones will keep playing on closed stadiums. There are not any major loss to sports community from the coronavirus. It has mostly affected the old and unhealthy population. A healthy person dying from the virus is rare. That's why we'll see closed stadium football without a break.
1156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 16, 2020, 02:26:26 PM
KKR won the toss and they decided to bat first, captaincy change for KKR Eoin Morgan toom the responsibility since DK wants to focus more on his batting and the mystery bowler Narine dropped here. MI made one change in their side Nathan Coulter Nile comes in the place of Pattinson.MI seems much stronger as always.
MI is far better than KKR . Look at the MI bowling lineup .Rahul chahar , Trent Boult and the specialist Jasprit Bumrah . KKR won the toss an elected to bat first . R. tripathi and S. Gill are good opener . If they can make  a great start then KKR will be won tonight's match .Otherwise i don't think they are able to beat MI . KKR lose  the previous match with MI by 49 run. It was a huge difference. I lost yesterday's bet. I do not know what is my fortune today! Sad Sad

MI has always been the favorite to reach the finals alongside CSK, and with such poor performance of CSK, they have no opponent in this league. Delhi too seems in solid form with a lot of options around the team. It would probably be Delhi that would fight against Mumbai in finals. While kolkata would fight for at least the playoffs, they have had a good record of playing the playoff and I guess they would be successful to achieving the 3rd or 4th position this year too.
1157  Other / Archival / Re: Potential shortage of bitcoins? on: October 16, 2020, 09:45:22 AM
Bitcoin supply for trading is surely being smaller with all the buy ins from corporate and hedge funds. As well due to freezing of bitcoin to created bitcoin based token.
Bitcoin itself is a new concept and no one is sure how the future of it be. The value would depend on the demand and the demand would depend on interest.
IMO, bitcoin is valued because it's an asset that can't be faked. It's limited in supply and easy to move. I don't think a huge price and limited of bitcoin circulating would have adverse effect on it's future. We've seen rare arts being traded and auctioned. I think bitcoin itself is a majestic art, having a part of it with yourself is both profitable and satisfying.
1158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting vs Real "Sports Feelings" on: October 15, 2020, 12:00:19 PM
If you want to make some money using sports betting, you should follow stats and predictions, weather and ground conditions and bet accordingly on the option that you find is more favorable and risk worthy.
But people don't always gamble for money. People have their favorite teams and in some case, the team they hate (not in my case). They may go betting on them without any reasoning.
And there are some people with absurd strategy, Once I had a friend who always bet against his favorite team. The reason he provided was "If my favorite team win, I'd be happy but if they lose, I get the money as a compensation."
It's hard to generalize emotions of people.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China's digital yuan vs US dollar on: October 13, 2020, 12:55:12 PM
China is actually integrating its money with it's social credit system and facial recognition system. It plans to have a complete information of people and their income and expenditure. They are testing digital payments made through facial recognition so that everyone would be paid on their face(eye) account and they spend their money through their face. For all of these to be reliable, safe and efficient, they needed blockchain technology.
Though it's an improvement in technology and scope of blockchain, it's against the original idea of satoshi and cryptocurrency.
1160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi benefiting Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2020, 12:51:05 PM
The Defi craze and the buying of new and old Defi coins has increased bitcoin and overall crypto transaction and trade volume. That could be considered a benefit.
Defi at the moment are not directly influencing bitcoin use but with the development in interchain operations, bitcoin would again rise as the prominent pair.
Bitcoin itself could evolve itself so as to boost the integration.
