1082  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it a good time to get in or not on: November 22, 2020, 12:19:50 PM
Personally I believe, the current price is somewhat inflated and it would correct itself to something lower than 15K and if you want to play safe, you can wait but if you are to make profit on trade, there are several technical analysis that's pointing at a new all time high for bitcoin. The best way would be to play safe and keeping your stable coin and bitcoin both ready for any price movement.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: November 22, 2020, 02:03:57 AM
Taking small profit are suitable for stocks trading but it's a bit different for crypto.
If you have bought bitcoin now for trading, taking small profit are the key here as you don't know what the direction of the price would be.
But if you bought bitcoin after the last bull at something below 10K, holding it to at least 15K would be a much better decision as we know and trust bitcoin. The same can't be called for most of the altcoins but we can trust the ones that have been here for long.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less Fiat and more Digital Cash spending. on: November 21, 2020, 04:32:44 PM
The futures of payment would be crypto but not necessarily bitcoin. There are a lot of national and decentralized crypto coins that are fast to transact and cheap on fees. People would be using them to pay for local as well as international payments. Some countries would surely try to restrict it's people and try to make them use the crypto issued by the government but unless they go inside a complete isolation, there's no way a government could stop a decentralized currency.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying Ripple for the XRP Spark token drop? on: November 21, 2020, 01:07:12 PM
Ripple has kept itself in the spotlight for quite some time and ripple is safely oscillating between prices. So we can safely say Ripple is a good coin to have in your portfolio. I would not recommend anyone to move to Ripple just because some coins are being airdropped if it isn't in your plan but if you are planning to have some ripple now or in the future than getting free coins just for the price of one coin is great.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: November 21, 2020, 11:16:26 AM
If you are afraid of the market, you won't be able to make a profit on it. The secret of not falling for a bull or bear trap is to use a stop loss. If you feel like the price is still going to increase and you intend to buy, don't wait for it to decrease. As it may not. Buy some and put some stop loss if you are wary of a sudden crash. But be sure to keep the limit balanced as a high one may hit and the price rise again and if it's too low, you'll have a larger loss.
1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world? on: November 20, 2020, 01:52:29 PM
It's been rumored that the creator of bitcoin who goes by the name of satoshi nakamoto holds a fortune of 1.1 million bitcoins. Which at the moment is valued at just 18 billion but as hoped by most, if the price of bitcoin keeps on rising, the creator of bitcoin could be the richest man in the world and we would still not know who it is or is the person still able to utilize that wealth. With so much of institutional interest, we can safely say most of the richest people in the world are already directly or indirectly using bitcoin to increase their wealth.
1088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the price of Bitcoin now? Take profit or greed? on: November 20, 2020, 03:29:57 AM
Yeap it's pretty much whatever. I'm totally aware that bitcoin can crash back down from here and I'm completely fine with that as I look at it's potential long-term valuation. I personally just continue stacking regardless of price and I personally think people(especially the non-traders) should be doing the same.

I've been following some trading experts from tradingview and their opinions have been conflicting. Some believe it's a gathering time for the ultimate bull run while some have an opinion that the buys and sells are balancing out so we would have a decline.
For me, I sold 100% of my bitcoin holding at an average of 17K and bought back some btc from 25% of that at 18K. Sounds stupid but I don't want to miss out incase of a bull run and would dump if I feel it's crashing.
1089  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another boost to bitcoin will come with stimulus checks. on: November 20, 2020, 01:27:09 AM
Someone just needs to do in tiktok. However they might have received the money, make a video about receiving the stimulus money in cashapp and buying bitcoin through it. It would be a much more PR than actually making people realize what bitcoin is and how buying it is a good thing. IMO, smart and tech savvy people are already into bitcoin, it's only the difficult to make them understand group outside.
1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered the “gold” of crypto investment? on: November 19, 2020, 01:03:58 PM
Bitcoin is already being considered the gold of crypto market. It is the gold standard which is trusted and know by all. Almost all of crypto are in one way or other compared to bitcoin. It may fall behind in some tech and some perks but it would always remain as the cryptocoin.
As of better investment, bitcoin surely has more potential than gold as it's limited and smaller in supply while supply of gold is ever rising.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 18, 2020, 02:01:52 PM
Most of the people here will disagree with you regarding you isolating Nigerians as the scammers in the crypto industry because among the thousands out there you will see that scams are spread all through out the world, some scammers' nationalities are not even identified because the scammer itself is not known and is only working in the shadows. You won't hear any kind of information from scammers running HYIP sites and you will barely see information of scammers hacking exchanges, the ones who are identified are mostly in different races. Simply you cannot judge a project because it has a Nigerian part of the team.
He knows that and he stated that he doesn't hate this country. It is just that he believes that the majority of its people is scammers. But I do agree with you, the scammers is widely came throughout the world. There is no specific country but each and every country has it. OP shouldn't judge them by simply looking at their citizenship, it is better to have their own basis why he should leave the project.

There are few ingredients that breeds more scammers than others in a country. It's not the country that is to be blamed though.
The country that has lower minimum wage, more educated people and less jobs as well as good and stable internet connection makes them have more scammers. Corruption and lawlessness helps them flourish. Nigeria, Indian and Eastern European countries including Russia are without exception high on scammers.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin always remain an investment vehicle? on: November 18, 2020, 01:17:46 PM
Like it or not, the largest part of bitcoin's popularity comes from it's investment prospectus. As an investment tool, trading comes hand in hand as for profiting from crypto investment, the general way is to sell them.
With occasional bearish and bullish trend and oscillation even when the price are sideways, bitcoin would always be a trading coin and this simply can make bitcoin live for ever.
With it's core techonology, I don't think it could compete with new tokens to act as a merchant payment coin for day to day transactions.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Goes Mainstream: Will Facebook And Google Support Cryptocurrency Adoption on: November 17, 2020, 02:20:04 PM
Facebook wanted to create a coin of it's own. It's main motivation was to use an advertising coin for all it's platform. Making it easier for users as well as the facebook platform to make deals and evade taxes. They could have allowed buying and selling of their coin through other crypto. Google has a working payment gateway called google pay, they too could further transform it into blockchain based token but as they are already facing restrictions from a number of government around the world, google too won't be transforming soon. I don't think both of these platform would readily accept crypto anywhere in the near future as they are heavily advertisement based industry which are also a good tax generating platform.
1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Reinforced by the pandemic on: November 15, 2020, 02:00:35 PM
The pandemic surely gave people enough time to learn and buy bitcoin. People are even investing in crypto just because they can't buy stocks. Though pandemic has made a lot of people lose their job but the expenditure are also very low. Every people with a salary are not finding places to spend their money and hence moving to crypto.
I think bitcoin has stepped up above $10K. The prices may fluctuate wildly but I think it would resist itself above 10K.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bch fork on: November 15, 2020, 01:18:08 PM
I also heard that Binance is getting ready for the BCH fork this time.. cmiiw
I also heard from one of my friends that Binance has prepared a BCH fork at this time, so I kept some BCH in my Binance wallet. I don't know if this is a good thing or not to do. At least I didn't put all the eggs in the basket. I hope this is a good move, but the price chart on BCH is not showing any good.

Bitcoincash fork will not make BCH go high or low but BCH has been turning itself into a centralized coin that could be a boost to it's utility as well as price in the long run. The current fork is also due to the difference in interest of the community whether to fund the developers through a miner fee or not. The BCH ticker is hold by the proponents of raising a fees with miners to fund the development of project. Though a bad thing for decentralization, it could bring BCH out of bitcoin's shadow.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone had idea to create such stablecoin? on: November 15, 2020, 08:17:52 AM
20% inflation related to what? Price of a fiat would increase or decrease only when it's compared to any other value like fiat or commodity. No value are constant. Value of every good and services are dynamic. USD is used for most of the international trade just because USA used to be the most prominent trader after world war 2.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 13, 2020, 03:17:02 PM
Holding did worked for early bitcoin buyers. But you should know when to exit. Anyone holding in and through the last all time high and at current time might be holding coins for 10 years without any profit. You can have your profit only when you sell. So, it's better to look at the market and buy and sell so that you be happy with your investment. Bitcoin may reach 100K in the future but there's no certainty and it would be not worth if it took another 100 years.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency? on: November 13, 2020, 01:32:10 PM
Most of the new cryptocurrencies are just a bunch of people mostly repetitive trying to scam people for some money or trying their wild ideas with others money without any dedication. I don't mean every of them are useless but it's getting harder for investors to choose one. I have for a large time restricted myself to established coins for trading and if done, I try new coins for a short term.
1099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Role of Bitcoin in Developing counties to accelerate Growth process on: November 12, 2020, 01:56:01 PM
Developing countries are taking bitcoin as a risk rather than an opportunity. It's not exactly due to the nature of bitcoin but their own failed plans and regulations. A large number of rich people in developing countries are buying bitcoins often at higher price. It's mostly because they don't trust the money and economy there and they don't trust their own government. This creates and exodus of capital from the country where there's absolutely needed. For developing countries to stop it, they should promote capital investment and ease business in the country rather than making business and lives of general public miserable with excessive taxes and low facilities.
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB VS Eth - Invest in ETH since BNB is centralized on: November 12, 2020, 01:12:08 PM
If you are in for profit, I believe BNB would be a better option. BNB is on limited supply and it's has many utilities, though heavily depended on the Binance platform, Binance has became such a large and diverse business that it would not be easy for them to fall. ETH on the other hand is delayed with development and is being challenged by other similar utility coins. BNB is one of it's kind and Binance won't leave it on it's own.
