441  Economy / Speculation / Re: April will be around 5000 - and then further down on: April 10, 2018, 06:34:36 AM
I'm kinda waiting actually for the price to crash that down, or even further, as it's really difficult to buy in BTCBTCBTC at huge prices like these.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge correction 3 months - How to invest in difficult times on: April 09, 2018, 03:10:59 PM
It is funny how this issue with a working cartel article got suspended. I actually did not get to take a good look at the article before that unfortunately.

The actual concern is that there is an impulsive selling in the market and with what I am seeing, there is just something going on that is far beneath what we all can see and if there is actually a cartel somewhere trying to drop the price to go lower, let us see how long they want to get this done but whoever understands that bitcoin is the future, will not really be bothered.

I've read the article and frankly, the author got some points spot on with what we are seeing with the market that you would actually consider that our current market is downright being manipulated by cartels. The points raised there couldn't be explained by mere coincidence, like the timings and all.
443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you a full time trader or just part timer? on: April 04, 2018, 02:32:29 PM
It's not fun to trade when the market's stagnant, so I just trade whenever there's a big movement. Actually it depends on how much you wanna risk. From experience it's much easier to profit when the market's all turbulent and banged up.
444  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin DOWN daily whats the real reason ? on: April 04, 2018, 01:10:48 AM
- Not enough demand to soak up the supply
- FUD
- Manipulation
- Correcting from unsustainable pump to $19,000

Mainly the last 2 IMO. Our market seems mature enough to withstand FUD, so I suppose there's an invinsible hand sending downward pressure that keeps us so low.
445  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rising to $14,000 beginning April on: April 04, 2018, 01:06:57 AM
Anyone asked where the signal came from in the OP?

If this was insider info then it would be gold.

Looking at the market right now a huge jump like that is somehow close to impossible.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which App Do You Use For Crypto? on: April 04, 2018, 01:03:31 AM
I use blockfolio. However, only one application is enough alone already feel comfortable with this. not intend to promote this application but I think it is quite easy to use and complete. It's one of the reasons I use blackfolio.

The thing with BlockFolio is it seldom gets updated. I've got tokens that are available on multiple exchanges but it only shows up on EtherDelta, which has no volume for the mentioned tokens. I wish they'd update their token lists more frequently.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee reveals he charges $105,000 per promotional cryptocurrency tweet on: April 04, 2018, 01:01:47 AM
Hmm, that was a huge fee. I joined several ICO project which was shilled by John McAfee. Actually, his promotional is worked. For example, Sether.io
I participate Sether bounty, and that ICO reached hard cap. I'm sure one of the causes of the hard cap was because of John's promotion.

Of course it would work, he's a well known crypto enthusiast. The problem now is because he announced that he was getting paid for it, his promotion tweets wouldn't be as effective as it was before. We now know it's never sincere.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is GREEN - Do you trust it on: April 04, 2018, 12:56:57 AM
The market is making many traps. It goes up and down but it goes up more than it falls, we are in a somewhat critical stage, you can only make exchanges taking advantage of the rebounds. Bitcoin can go up to 8k, then go down to 6k by double bottom.

That has always been the trend in this market ever since, but as one guy pointed out in another trend, the best way to look at it is by segmenting the chart into 6-months, then look at the all time lows per period. You'll notice the trend has always been upward.
449  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10.000 bitcoins moved from gox wallet ready to short BTC on: April 03, 2018, 01:12:56 PM

Hmm interesting Need to confirm this because when i read the news it was said that mt gox will not be liquidating any btc untill july month.
Btc is just starting to get some momentum if this is true then its not good for the market.

I also thought they'd be making some announcements before doing any selling. At least that's what they've said before. Let's just follow how this money flow anyway.
450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Keep calm, and take a coffee. A trader said... on: April 03, 2018, 01:10:54 PM
To sell now, this is the worst thing that those who bought at 10,000 can do. It's better to really drink a cup of coffee and for a while not even look at the graphics.

It actually depends on your risk appetite, so yeah it could've been the better choice vs cashing out sometime lower.

With regards to the market, it's been showing signs of life lately, although I really suspect that this upward movements as a trap.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: April 03, 2018, 01:00:24 PM
I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

#Datarius

This is now the trend and even a most promising project could even hit 50% below ICO price when it hit exchanges and the reason, as you explained. I think it's a good decision to buy on ICO (just to make yourself sure you are part of ypur chosen project) and buy even more when it hit exchanges or say, when the hunters dump it all.

Kinda depends on where the project is listed on first. Imagine if it was listed in Binance immediately, the entry price would skyrocket immediately, and in that case buying at an ICO would be cheaper.
452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin downtrend is limited. Here's why. on: April 03, 2018, 02:22:34 AM
that's not how market psychology works. you're being far too rational. irrational despair and exuberance dominate markets, and emotions dominate traders.

so here's what usually happens: those people who bought at $15k? they think rationally like you for quite some time. but the price drops and drops and eventually, they start to wonder if the price will ever recover. then the crash accelerates. panic ensues. these once rational hodlers who were so strong at $8000 are suddenly so much weaker at $5000 and below.

these are the bulls that sell the bottom on high volume in bitcoin's classic v-bottoms. then they provide lots of buying power on the way up when they want to recover their coins. you should only devote yourself to hodling if you can actually keep your cool during crashes and avoid selling into bottoms.

That's what happens because during price runs, bull or bear, it's emotion that is in control, not logic. If you can separate the two then you're already halfway being a great trader.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favorite Exchanges? on: April 02, 2018, 02:34:55 PM
KuCoin and COSS, a bit biased towards them since I own KuCoin Shares and COSS tokens. There's nothing like getting dividends from exchange transaction fees.
454  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think we have to see 35000 usd in 2018 according to this table on: April 02, 2018, 02:30:27 PM
best thing to do is not grab random amount..
instead split the chart into 6 monthly segments and then grab the ALL TIME LOW of each period. then draw a line. and you will see its always in a upward trend.

Well it would've been obvious to people that's in this space long enough. The trend is very much visible in any trading chart you'll encounter.
455  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 3000$? on: April 02, 2018, 11:35:29 AM
I think $3000 is way too optimistic. The price will go below the price from a year ago, so that's around $700.

$700 is already an absurd level. Even if it went down like that, it wouldn't be for long. Traders would pick it up immediately.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Today i declare, buying of all good altcoins on: April 01, 2018, 03:43:47 PM
The bloodbath isn't over, I suggest you wait a little bit before getting too excited buying all your alt prospects. In this space, every coin counts.

Also, be sure to do a background check on the teams of the alts you'd be getting, nothing worse buying into a useless project.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge correction 3 months - How to invest in difficult times on: April 01, 2018, 02:52:03 PM

Well you got to really acknowledge this, the man has a point. Maybe the best move right now is move into ETH, or any crypto asset that isn't tied to BTCBTCBTC.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the market recover? on: March 28, 2018, 03:25:33 PM
Today the market has recovered slightly back.

Just a minor correction IMO, not much movement.

@ontopic, with all these looming regulations, I don't see the market recovering significantly in the next few weeks.
459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Squad - Investing for friends and familiy on: March 28, 2018, 07:09:47 AM
I've taken a look at the site, and I kinda like the idea.

Anyway, do you have something in place that would prevent the fund manager scamming other people and taking away their money? Because I can clearly see lots of people offering crypto investments to strangers here and not just family and friends. We might even see a few people here in the forum that's gonna start a service like this of some sort.
460  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: March 28, 2018, 06:59:27 AM
it is very difficult to make a steady income on trading, because basically trading is very difficult to guess. maybe you can generate a lot of income every month, but, not necessarily you will get a lot of income. you could lose, or get a little income in each month.

I've had an experience before that's exactly like this, during my first month of actively trading I did triple my initial capital, so yeah, it prompted me to buy a trading bot. 3 months into using the bot, lost almost 80% of my initial earnings. I ended up selling the bot to at least regain a fraction of it and never did significant trading again.  Smiley
