1401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why in some countries Bitcoin is banned on: September 22, 2016, 08:20:40 AM
Even if governments ban BTCBTCBTC, our economy is global. The only way this economy stops is if its constituents stop using it, and I believe it cannot come from any outside force.
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: September 21, 2016, 11:15:41 AM
Kinda excited with Durant's first game vs OKC, like how the fans would burn him.  Grin Grin Grin
The fans are going to burn him for what he has done but he also has done some great things for OKC so lets not forget that.
He has been so close a couple times to win the NBA finals but he was not able to do it.
That is right, they owe something big to Durant and they should pay respect on that, Durant has been a great help to make the thunder popular in the world but this time Durant is on a  mission and want to prove something in himself that great players deserve championship.

Your right, they should move on on Durant. Durant is not the first player to leave his first team in the NBA. OKC has still potential to be a great team. I'm sure they will build a great team around Westbrook.

Remember when LBJ left Cleveland for Miami way back then? Even if Lebron got them to the 2007 finals when he left they burned his jersey to the ground. I kinda wanna see that kind of drama with Durant again.  Grin
1403  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: September 21, 2016, 11:09:08 AM
Bitcoin is still really small here in SEA, but adoption is growing exponentially. What we lack here I believe is a local provider for BTCBTCBTC powered debit cards. If bitcoin companies here can provide that, adoption would even be faster. Imagine remittances straight to your BTCBTCBTC card, minus the time, costs, and hassle.
1404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What I love about Bitcoin on: September 21, 2016, 09:36:29 AM
IMO that's very superficial.

@ontopic What I love about this tech is the convenience it brings to the remittance system. Reduced time, costs, and hassle. Helps me a lot.

I think many people are interested in bitcoin because the price is not stable, but you are different, you like the other side of bitcoin.

Many people are interested in bitcoin because they hope the price will rise and they will be able to make more money in fiat Cheesy
1405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell my stocks buy bitcoin... on: September 21, 2016, 09:27:03 AM
In the end just remember not to put all your eggs in one basket. Diverse profiles are always best in investments.
1406  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you expect prices to fall on: September 21, 2016, 01:40:25 AM
Actually we wouldn't be able to predict that because our market pretty much depends on the news. One big news again and we can go back to ~$400.

Any tips for TnC vs Rave, ProDota Cup? Thanks!
1408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: September 21, 2016, 01:12:27 AM
Besides trading, you can also invest BTCBTCBTC via Keza, an app that allows you to buy US stocks using BTC  your Apple device.
1409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What bitcoin related businesses do you own? on: September 20, 2016, 04:12:40 PM
Basically i found loading business as an easy way to connect bitcoin. And good thing also is that there was this good bitcoin service in my place in which i can buy loads through bitcoin + rebate.

What is loading business?

I'm guessing it's prepaid mobile credit. We call it locally as 'phone load.' So basically he/she's buying them through btc via a local wallet that offers it for less and then selling it for fiat.
1410  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Give me some business idea to start online. on: September 20, 2016, 01:25:01 PM
For me if you have that amount my only suggestion is to start affiliate marketing cpa or cpi.. like other company i am looking for that business to work.. but there is not affiliate marketing are paying in bitcoin unless if you start this business you can earn a lot in this if you find a good company with your own business..

Have you tried RunCPA? I haven't run their offers yet but from what I've been reading, they're legit. They're the only BTCBTCBTC CPA network as far as I know.

1412  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any Legit sellers on Bitify.com? on: September 20, 2016, 08:14:57 AM
I converted my bitcoin to Paypal balance once using a seller there in the past. Transaction went smoothly, so there are legi sellers there.

On your case, why not just use Gyft?
1413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rising to 600$ , pure manipulation ? on: September 20, 2016, 08:05:12 AM
I do not think its a manipulation, its just that we need some time to go more up, right now we will stay around this number and go higher in about a few months.
I really have faith in the bitcoin and it has a good future so keep patient people.

You can say it's 'partly' manipulated. We all know people/organizations who have stashes that when disposed off in chunks could destabilize our economy.

But yeah, that aside, I kinda have a feel that this level is natural too.
1414  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Give me some business idea to start online. on: September 20, 2016, 06:56:03 AM
Not a good time to invest in Cryptocurrency right now. Consider investing in some shares of Apple or something, which are going up and will do so atleast till October end due to the launch of their new line of products. They will be rolling out a new Macbook pro as well befoe the end of the year, so you might as well hold it till then.

if you want to invest in the cryptospace, look into moneypot.

Investing $5k is going to get OP nowhere. OP said they want ideas for a business.  $5k invested in something would need to see several hundred % per year to sustain a lifestyle on.

If you are going to do any kind of trading just chuck in 0.1 btc or something and if you cant make money then quit.

$5k is already adequate. I started mine with less than 1k.  Believe me, it all depends on how you handle your money.
1415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: eSports gambling on: September 20, 2016, 06:32:31 AM
I found out new esports gambling / betting site. And that is betballer.com I have tried to use that and join its twitter campaign.

So my first bet to that site was with PowerRangers vs. Elements Pro Gaming. Then I am very disappointed that I lost.

But still I can say the site is good.

Well thats how it is, All I can say is that don't bet on Power Rangers, I haven't had a winning moment in them for a long time.
1416  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitfinex back on track leading the market. on: September 20, 2016, 06:19:32 AM
Even if they got back on track I don't believe they're gonna enjoy the same market share they did before the hack. What's damaged is damaged forever in this business.
1417  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: September 19, 2016, 11:36:25 PM
Isn't investing in BTCBTCBTC casinos simply betting against the players?

Or are there programs that give you dividends from the fees?
1418  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's the best APP for viewing bitcoin News on: September 19, 2016, 11:32:36 PM
how many decent bitcoin news sources are there? most of them are pure garbage. reddit's enough for me. I hate the format but if something's important enough then it'll turn up there.

The coindesk app is good enough for me. Prices, news and more.
1419  Other / Off-topic / Re: waiting for a confirmation: what are you doing? on: September 19, 2016, 11:30:26 PM

1420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Running a exchange is a very active job on: September 19, 2016, 09:22:12 PM
You need a team of people to sit and watch the cold and hot wallets every day, every hour, every minute. You need a team of people to sit and watch the trades as they occur.

If you're all alone or just a small team, like me, for example, you'll never get it big. About the only thing I do on my site (which is not an exchange by the way, but it accepts deposits and withdrawals of BTC), is secure the funds. Since I'm not working on it full time, I make people wait (a bit) if they attempt large withdrawals.

That wait, makes or breaks your business. If it's too long, people don't like it. There is no such thing as "too short" for waiting times, so the shorter the time waiting, or the quicker the support you can give your customers or clients, the better.

The best exchange is the one that accepts your deposits quickly, funds your account, allows you to trade almost instantly, and quickly withdraws either your cryptocoins or your fiat money to your bank accounts. All exchanges aspire to be that.

You will also need a team of people to watch, and that's all they do mostly, watch. For security purposes. They might try to do some penetration testing or whatever or try to crash your exchange on purpose. Or you have some sort of bug bounty for external security.

I would love to run an exchange, or be part of one.

Besides that, you've got to have a support team on stand-by, for inquiries and such.

All-in-all, it's a huge task fit for an organization. That's why it's very interesting to hear or read stories of how exchanges started way back then. Imagine having to deal with all that when the one behind the exchange is just you and your biz partner.
