1441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: August 28, 2016, 04:08:32 PM
I am patiently waiting for the NBA to start, you guys might be surprise if the San Antonio Spurs will be champ this season. I think they are just underrated even though they have upgraded their line up with the addition of Pau Gasol.

For me I'm not surprised, as I said before because of coach Popovich. They are always be a contender because of coach pop. Even Parker and Ginobili retire. They will drop someone, like they did to Leonard. They have good scouting team.

International scouts to be specific. They're the United Nations of the NBA. Great scouts + coaching staff is a contender for any year.
1442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Quick Survey: When will you Sell your Bitcoin? on: August 28, 2016, 03:09:20 PM
I actually want to sell my Bitcoin when the price hits $2000, and of course if it's possible. But I have an important thing that I have to buy, therefore I have to spend my Bitcoin when the price is still below $1000.

IMO that price would probably be around by the next halving, or a more years after. I just don't see any reason to push the price up that high over the next few years, so maybe by the next halving we'll see.
1443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump or long term goals? on: August 28, 2016, 09:27:20 AM
I have some long term goals in regards to btc, I think it'll hit 700 for sure this year and hopefully 1,000. I see it as a side investment sort of like buying gold you know?

Or it can tank back to$300-$400ish, you never know.

As for me every time the price jumps or drops significantly I move 30% of my coins.
1444  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any benefit to using a payment gateway for RL service? on: August 28, 2016, 03:46:43 AM
Quote
In theory, shouldn't it be sufficient just to display my BTC address on my website?  Is there any benefit to using a payment gateway/merchant plugin in this case? I suppose it would be ideal if the website automatically generated some kind of receipt or confirmation for the client, but I'll be having personal contact with all clients anyway so I can confirm all payments received personally the same way I would for payment by bank transfer.

It's exactly as that, you can just display your BTCBTCBTC address if your customers have and will use BTC. It's simple and free.

Payment gateways are there if you want to offer BTCBTCBTC as payment option but would like to auto-convert the BTC received to your chosen currency. But note that you can still use it though if you want to store your earned BTCBTCBTCs in the gateway's wallet service.

Aside from the benefit of receipts as you said it's advisable to use payment gateways if you're handling mid-to-high volumes of transactions. These gateways provide an address for each transaction giving you a better insight especially in handling records. Besides, you can have your customers input first their info and send them to you automatically along with the payment, imagine if you manually handle and label all the transactions if you're taking 100+ orders per day.
1445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If one day BTC cannot be traded for cash, what will you do? on: August 28, 2016, 03:37:07 AM
I will spend all my bitcoins on Purse.io.

 Cheesy  Cheesy

As if they'd allow that. If it can't be converted to cash then it's back to zero value. IMO as for me I'd just keep it in a ledger wallet and hope for the best.  Grin
1446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: August 28, 2016, 12:50:55 AM
My 2017 MVP is Blake Griffin!

No doubt he has the best chance especially if he wants it. Blake cruises on 20/10 and can give u 24/12/5 if he really wants. I think with cp3 and Jordan and bg handling his business clips can be 2nd seed (over Spurs maybe) and win 58 games.
Sorry man but its impossible for Griffin to get the 2017 MVP. Yes, he is good, we are there but still its not enough to get ahead on James, Curry, Durant, Kawhi.
Griffin will become MVP if they will succeed this season, the problem with the clippers is they are good in the regular season and you can really tell the way they ca dominate their opponents and even beating good teams but in the playoffs their aggressiveness fades and they do know pay with sense of urgency.

I'll go for Paul George for the 2017 NBA MVP. With the improvement in their line up they can contend in the finals. Blake Griffin is just a showtime player for me. Even in the mythical five will be hard for Griffin.

While it's true that PG did get better, I don't think he'll ever go play on a superstar level again. Mental and emotional trauma scars you way longer than the physical.
1447  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advertising Experience on BitMedia.io? on: August 28, 2016, 12:45:48 AM
I think we at Adverti can help you out with a campaign!

We allow targeting for specific Domain Categories (IAB) and Minimum Alexa Ranking, as well as your standard Country/Device/OS targeting. Creatives allowed include standard banners and pop-ups/unders.
All the traffic we have access to goes through pre- and post-bid fraud detection algorithms. That means we will be able to provide high CTRs and quality results.

Please reach out to me if you want more info or get started!

Hi, can you somehow give me a glimpse of what kind of sites there are in your network? Cause I kinda don't like advertising on faucets. And if possible, can you PM me the average CPMs per country/os?

Thanks!

1449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: August 27, 2016, 06:12:12 AM
IMO BTCBTCBTC is what it is. It's a concept by itself. Currencies are backed by something tangible. Bitcoin is backed only by trust. While BTCBTCBTC can function as a currency, it can never be entirely like that.
1450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: August 26, 2016, 04:57:27 PM
GSW is already very strong without Kevin Durant. Now with Kevin Durant, GSW challenges will only come at the playoff and Oklahoma Thunder will be weakened.
It is very likely GSW will walk the league next season.

Or they could struggle. Just because they have a lot of stars in their team doesn't mean they'd be able to beat everyone. How far they'll go will now depend on how well they can adjust and play with each other.
1451  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advertising Experience on BitMedia.io? on: August 26, 2016, 03:23:26 PM
There is this list which contains every Bitcoin advertising network ou there (or almost) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1108616.20
As for Bitmedia , I personally haven't tested them before but I must tell you that I've seen a couple of scam accusations against them (not sure if they are valid or not) so you may want to read more about it before enrolling with them.

Thanks for that. Never knew there are bitcoin sites as well in BuySellAds. I'll have a look at this for the meantime.

EDIT: I see, BuySellAds is where big BTCBTCBTC sites sell advertising space.
1452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Control the Future Value of Bitcoin on: August 26, 2016, 02:40:43 PM
Bitcoin is free of anyone's contol thats why we love it besides many other reasons why then even try to contol it in any manner.Even if it is price, let market set the price according to demand and supply
thats true, no one can just control bitcoins and it is a really good thing to be honest, in my opinion thats why bitcoin is so great right now and grows so fast

No exactly true. I know for a fact that there are people with very huge stashes of BTCBTCBTC that if they sold it all in one go it would exceed the market buffer and it'll take time to recover. In the worst case, it might not even recover.
1453  Economy / Service Discussion / Advertising Experience on BitMedia.io? on: August 26, 2016, 11:08:04 AM
I'm planning to launch a campaign in BitMedia. I've used it before, without any result (- ROI) so I'm kinda reconsidering. Anyone who can share experiences in Advertising with this network? If someone can give an overview of the traffic source quality (blogs/faucets/news sites etc) that would be much appreciated.

Aside from BitMedia, anyone has any network recommendations? I'm planning to go first with bitcoin specific networks before diving into AdWords.

1454  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2016 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: August 26, 2016, 10:50:29 AM
I like e-coin/Wirex's card, I've been using it for the last 6 months or more, but I've dropped it just recently. The thing is I always have trouble going through their 2FA, it always ends up wrong when I'm sure I entered the right digits. And for the record it's the only service that I've had trouble with 2FA.

Currently with CryptoPay, and no problems as far as I'm concerned.
1455  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the price: Halving day 2020 on: August 26, 2016, 10:09:23 AM
Now most predict 1000 or more and what happen nothing went down
Long ter we coukd see over 1k to be stable price for having it could go 50% up in that time

Bitcoin will reach 1000$ before 2020. If you see in next halving bitcoin price may reach to 3000$ and more than  that according to me and To get fast in price rise We need huge adoption from big mnc companies.

they were saying that bitcoin will reach $1000 this halving, remember? lol we are still at half of that or a just above by not that much, so i'm not believe anymore here, just wait and see what will happen
$1000 is really within reach if we are talking about the next halving. A lot can happen in the next four years and the price can swing up and down a lot during that span of time. What I am curious about is how will bitcoin's stature be in 2020? Would it have gained a lot of followers, users and merchants?

Double the current price seems a reasonable prediction. Maybe even close to ~$1500. There's gonna be better adoption and a lot of new techs built on BTCBTCBTC so it's an outright positive future.
1456  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: August 26, 2016, 09:47:19 AM
Ever since Keza was acquired by a local startup here in our country I've been seriously considering on investing via it, so yeah, I'm using it as both.

Was using it as a currency before but now see it for investment purposes as that would be a much more lucrative venture to pursue. Smiley
I think if you're just using bitcoin as a currency only. it will be very difficult. because I think that bitcoin is not so support to be made as a payment method

Why difficult? Isn't it developed to serve that purpose in the first place.
1457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: August 26, 2016, 08:25:43 AM

If the warriors will be champ this season I think durant will come back to thunder, I hope he will be given a warm welcome the same with Lebron James, but if he failed I do not know what is next for him or I am not sure if he can get a ring, this is his best and last chance to do that.

They must force for a championship which is really bad because they are pressured. It's better to play as normal and no pressured in every game.

There will be huge criticism if they failed to win the next season's title. A monster team that become a nothing.
Do you think they can force a championship so easily? Other teams are eager and hungry for championship especialy the San Antonio Spurs. I think Golden State and San Antonio will be a good rival and im so happy to see that. The Knicks also is much awaited teams in the NBA.

Knicks can do well with Derrick Rose added to the roster, though. Let's expect if they can create rivalries with the Cavaliers.
The Knicks are not yet on the level where they can really challenge the Cavs. Although they made significant upgrades this offseason, D. Rose and Noah are really prone to injuries. If they manage to stay healthy and play like it was 2012, then that is another story. I have my eyes on the younger teams that could be fun to watch like the Bucks, the Sixers and the Timberwolves.

The Sixers, not so much. The Wolves? If Towns continue to play and improve like that the Wolves are set to dominate.

As with the Knicks, D.Rose has been out of his game ever since his very first injury, so I don't think they'd match up with other better contenders. Paul George seems to be in a much better position vs D.Rose with regards to recovery.
1458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Baidu Stops All Bitcoin-Related Advertising on: August 26, 2016, 07:59:01 AM
IMO BTCBTCBTC would be fine without that. It's a whole lot different and a far worse situation when Baidu would decide to censor all bitcoin related searches.

1460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Danger when buying/selling BTC in person on: August 25, 2016, 04:37:32 PM
So i was reading an article about someone who got robbed when he tried to buy in person 28000$ of Bitcoin
http://www.coindesk.com/florida-bitcoin-sale-knifepoint-robbery/
Personally i avoid dealings like this cause it is not easy to trust a random stranger.
How about you?do you buy or sell bitcoins in person? If yes have you ever had any bad experiences?
i personally was never have experience buying bitcoin person to person because that was very risky especially such as you say that buy bitcoin with random stranger and i had still comfortable buying bitcoin using an exchange because it's more safe for my bitcoin

Depends on the situation. If you're gonna meetup at a coffee shop with plenty of foot traffic it's definitely low-risk. Still, IMO it's best to do meetup purchases like this in bitcoin related conventions or gatherings, if not online.
