What a moron, I bet he had a huge entourage of leaches and women
who took all his money.  Nba needs to force these guys to have a 401k lol

I bet his motto in life is "you ain't gonna live forever" or 'YOLO.'

One thing for sure is that he did enjoyed those days.  Smiley
1422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Keep or sell? on: September 19, 2016, 09:10:49 PM
And here I am thinking that that debate issue was over months ago. Is this really still ongoing?

he doesn't really make much sense with his statement anyway.

what has a stable price to do with earning money with bitcoin, and it not being profitable in the future?

And like you said, bitcoins future is looking fine.

The only thing holding it back is the blocksize debate, and that will soon be fixed with a hard fork most likely.

There are so many positive things about bitcoin in the near future, and so many investments being made in bitcoin and blockchain technology (which also benefits bitcoin because it's the most well-known blockchain).

@ontopic, IMO the price is stable for now, creeping up slowly but surely. The way I see it unless there's another big news. like a major hack or whatever, it's gonna stay that way.
1423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: September 19, 2016, 11:25:25 AM
Howard won't. It's just his prime is over. He lost the moves, the durability, and the drive. He ain't that beast of a center anymore.
1424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Overstock’s TØ to Issue First Public Blockchain Equities on: September 19, 2016, 07:28:50 AM
Glad they're having progress with that project. It would be awesome if they can open their securities market with the world not just for US or something.
1425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of Bitcoin's Biggest Miners is Launching a Second Pool on: September 15, 2016, 05:11:01 PM
In the end they simply want to silently claim the majority. It's business after all.
1426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open Bazaar is seriously hard to use on: September 11, 2016, 01:46:46 AM
Well performance and stability is more prioritized than aesthetics, so I presume it's gonna take years before OpenBazaar becomes ready for the general public.
1427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin stickers for cars on: September 05, 2016, 03:21:41 AM
While it's not gonna have much of an impact, I think it's a good idea. It's fun when you see other people into bitcoin too IRL.
1428  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advertising Experience on BitMedia.io? on: September 03, 2016, 12:46:09 PM
BM is the best bitcoin ads service you can get, in my opinion. If you have issues with ROI either your campaign sucks or you did not set up filters. or perhaps both...

Ok noted, thanks for the input.

I think you can try at a-ads i think their service is quite good and easy to use. I can also suggest mellow ads since i saw some good faucet using mellow ads so you really can find good users

A-ads accept all publisher sites do not check the quality of the traffic even if you've just created blogs then you are accepted as a publisher
not sure  OP wants publishers like this.

Mellowads currently problematic, publishers do not receive earnings from traffic You can it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1601544.0
There was no other choice Bitmedia.io last option for OP.

I've been with MellowAds and they provide the kind of traffic that I'm not aiming for.

I've decided to try Adverti as they've been really accommodating. I'd try to share my feedback here.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: September 03, 2016, 02:09:14 AM

The NBA preseason starts on Oct 3, 2016 and the season is set on Oct 25, 2016. I also can wait for the season to start. Right now I'm just holding my bitcoin until the betting in the NBA start.

Pre-season games will be available for betting Im sure of that. It's good to bet for pre-season games especially for Over Points depends on the given numbers by those sports booking site. Smiley

I don't know if this is out of topic but I think it's related. Im waiting for NBA2k17 PC game too which will be out few weeks from now. Excited to see the new graphics. Hope no much additional system requirements like in NBA2k16.

IMO don't bother so much with pre-season games as these are for exhibition. That makes it bad for betting on teams based on 'performance.'
1430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: September 03, 2016, 02:07:05 AM
It's difficult to get even an approximation of the real value, and I would be surprised if anyone managed to get a good number for it, without very high error margins, of course.

If all are mandated to join this community before transacting in bitcoin then it could be counted. But that is not how it is. There are a lot out there using it, some are in the shadows and some are in the open. It will be a hard task to count them all.

IMO you can't have the actual number of BTCBTCBTC users in any way. Heck even the number of addresses won't give you an estimate. The best way I believe to get a glimpse of how huge this industry is is to look at the volume of daily transactions.
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: August 30, 2016, 05:17:40 PM
But this time ia different GSW is superior with different strong addition maybe they cannot be called dream team but they are stronger and high advantage enough among other teams to get back the ring and the championship in their house,  durant will be explosive for this line up and i think many teams now are looking upto and finding some ways, execution and perfect rooster chemistry so they can beat the GSW or other teams in this league.
Durant will surely explosive next season as we can see its obvious Durant is very thirsty for a ring. I can imagine how hard to beat the warriors are. To think that there are four in their line up who are able to score atleast 20-30pts.

I'm pretty sure one of them would tone down. Look at Kevin Love, he was one of the league's top scorers way back in Minnesota, but ever since he left for the Cavs he went to play a new role, and now barely scores over 20.
1432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: August 30, 2016, 05:15:14 PM
in my country many start to use bitcoin because it is the best alternative solution to paypal and skrill where many get locked in those useless payment system but we all miss the best shot to buy bitcoin when it hit 200 $.

Here in mine it's mostly used for remittances, which is good because remittance economy is huge here.
1433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins true potential on: August 29, 2016, 02:40:24 PM
Bitcoin for now is like subsidiary currency. Fiats are dominating and it is only possible to view bitcoin price in direct comparison to them.
But bitcoin is much more that simple paper money. It can be used in many ways, for example to store important information in the blockchain.
This feature alone, if used correctly and with plan will made 1 BTC worth more than $10.000.

It will take several decades for the bitcoin to be used a major currency. In the mean while, there should be more developments.

I respectfully disagree.
One scenario is the currency collapse, which could happen overnight.  Heck, the 2007 bank housing crisis $trillion bailout was to stop a financial collapse ending in all ATMs from working within just hours.  (Is it not curious that Bitcoin was created shortly thereafter?)
As such, Bitcoin might be the only currency left to carry out ANY transactions, from grocery store to buying gas, and at that moment each Bitcoin would be worth literally $millions in today's dollars.

Look what is going on; negative interest rates on the horizon, demise of the petrodollar and the rise of the BRICs nations removing the dollar as reserve currency, Chinese yuan being gold backed (in its latest version),,, this might not take decades.

It may be less than weeks when SHTF, and then we will be the whales!

While all that remains a possibility, I kind of think those are the worst case scenarios. IMO something would have already been done before the situation even comes to that.
1434  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legitimate load BTC to Credit Card service? on: August 29, 2016, 10:03:55 AM
From what I've understood, you want a service to pay your credit card bill using BTCBTCBTC. Where are you from? Aren't there services in your country to pay bills (including CC bills) using BTCBTCBTCs?
1435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: August 29, 2016, 03:47:34 AM
They have them already - they're called BitCoin ATM's.

If you want a "shop" any of the TravelEx / Thomas Cook / AmEx currency exchange kiosks around town would be ideal as they are accepting large sums of cash with on the spot rates.  You just have to talk one of these into accepting BitCoins.

Aside from that, a bitcoin boutique seems a good idea. Shirts and merchandise, and probably even hardware wallets. I'm legitimately thinking of starting a store like that over here.
1436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will remain dormant until people start questioning what money is. on: August 29, 2016, 02:23:56 AM
Unfortunately people are dormant zombies themselves so its very difficult that they will wake up as long as they get the basic necessities covered. But of course, once physical cash is removed, then we might see a big uprise.

Most of the people are uneducated and they never know the true value of bitcoins. Removing physical cash is not an easy process and may take a century or even more.

Why would physical cash be abolished in the first place? It will forever stay as it is, IMO.
1437  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Someone told me HASHOCEAN is coming back on: August 29, 2016, 01:58:51 AM
Maybe your clients and friends are the ones behind HASHOCEAN. Seriously though, what's dead is dead and should remain dead.
1438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM on: August 29, 2016, 01:56:24 AM
I think there are two here in my country, both located in the capital's financial hub. I don't know if they're still functional though.
1439  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam - Any Thoughts or Experiances on: August 28, 2016, 04:17:26 PM
until now iam not use btcjam
i want to ask in there save or not it iam lending my bitcoin
owner btcjam guaranted payment my bitcoin or not if iam lend my bitcoin in there
Well, please visit in this link and reading for more detailed about the another member's experience about btcjam.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1449767.0

better for you never lending your bitcoin in there.

Defaulters are everywhere, even in LoanBase.

IMO It's still best to not lend it at all, or at least, lend it to personal contacts only when the opportunity comes. Better yet invest in other places, because at this point plain lending without collateral is just too much risk.
