4675. Thanks.

Understood.  Looking forward to working with the new miners.  I'll let you know what DHL asks for.  I upgraded home panel to 400A and put in 220v 20A and 30A circuits.  I have 24A safely usable on the 30A circuits (5280W) with the derated PDUs. Do you think I can run (2) SP31s on each of those circuits as long as I underclock them?

What is your order # ?
Katya is checking with DHL now.

Edit: We'll reply privately by email.

To all the readers of this thread:

Due to a non related dispute we have with the thread owner, he is badmouthing us and spread rumors and lies.

I ask you to take everything you read here about us here with a huge grain of salt.
The owner is biased and try to promote his own agenda.

In addition, the owner has marked our company as taking pre-orders. It's another lie. We ship all our remaining 2nd gen gear (currently SP31) directly from stock.

New page, new post.

Just be careful so you don't get banned for bump-spamming. That's out of Dogies hands.
But I'm sure he'll complain, although it's his own thread.

I love that sign.
Great work Spondoolies I look forward to reviewing your next gen miners. I also am eagerly looking forward to our interview next week.

Since we had some discussions about gen3 miners I would like to congratulate SP-Tech for their 600 page with a special image:

Same here Smiley

Where did I call you a thief?

You said that we took 3-4 months preorders on our 1st gen which is another lie.

You preordered 'batches' of SP10 significantly into the future, while not far from release of SP10 were already preordering SP30s and SP10 + SP30 kits.

Every time I need to interact with you I get strong feeling of nausea.
I'm trying to disengage but you keep dragging me into your swamp.

... Being called a liar and a thief by a CEO ...

I repeat -
Where did I call you a thief ?

... what happened in the first generation and its something I discussed with them at the time. Even when they were selling 'in hand' hardware via batches [fine], some batches were being sold 3-4 months in advance ...
Most of our 1st gen customers received their miners within a 30 days period of ordering them.
Some received it after 30-60 days.
Our entire 1st gen selling period was under 3 months.

I've spotted many more lies written in the last few pages, I gave an example of two.

Hello.E-mail was sent as below on to sales@spondoolies-tech Feb 27th at about 7AM. Not blaming Spondoolies and am sure I'll hear something next week. DHL Will probably help me work it out.  Just wish we could avoid some of the shipping delays.  I would have thought DHL a would have contacted me as soon as the delay occurred.  I appreciate any help/advice.

My shipment of (10) SP-31 miners from Spondoolies is apparently stuck in customs (Cincinnati, OH).

The units were sent to me via DHL.

What is the next step for me at this point?  I wanted to have the miners ASAP and this delay is unfortunate.

Thanks.

Hi Everyone,

I have the same problem as mentioned below.  10 SP31 units have been held in US Customs in Cincinnati for the last four days. Emailed Spondoolies but haven't heard back yet.  Call into DHL and hope it can be resolved.

Hey there,

I have kind of a funny story.

I ordered the 15 SP20 deal from the website and paid for it on the 5th.
Figured I'd saved bunch of money from the shipping.
I got a notice that it was shipped on the 10th.

From there it made it from Israel to Italy and Belgium on the 11th.
On the 12th, it went through London, UK and
on the 13th it left there, and made it to New York, NY on the 14th.

So far, so good.

From there:
14th,  arrived at DHL's hub in Cincinnati, OH
15th, Clearance event, Cincinnati, OH
16th, Customs status updated, Cincinnati, OH
17th, Clearance event, Cincinnati, OH
18th, Customs status updated, Cincinnati, OH

I got a call from someone at DHL, who said they needed some information (for customs, ostensibly).
I furnished the requested information, and the rep said I'd get it the next day (today).
Now, I got an email from the Phoenix, AZ office that it will probably be held up for 'customs' for 4-5 days

I ordered (and paid for) it on the 5th, and I MIGHT get it in time to be an unexpected Christmas gift.

When did you send us the email?
[/quote]
We'll contact DHL.
Friday is our weekend.

Hi all,

I just got a 15 unit batch of SP20's approximately 30 hours ago.  I absolutely love these rigs!!!  However, I am running into an issue with one rig.  It says, "LOOP[0] ON TO:0 (w:38)
0: disabled (Asic all engines fail BIST).

I have IBM 2880W PSU's with breakout boards.  All of the others are running well on these IBM 2880W PSU's except for one I had problems connecting to last night [I will deal with it after I finish my new mining closet in the next couple of days].

I have replaced the PCI-e cord in port 1 of the SP20 and I've changed ports with a new cord on the breakout board.  Yet, it still says, "LOOP[0] ON TO:0 (w:38)
0: disabled (Asic all engines fail BIST)."

I was getting too sleepy last night to continue trouble shooting it.  If someone else has had this issue or has something to offer for me to try, please chime in.

Thank you

To all reading this thread:

Due to a non related dispute we have with the thread owner, he is badmouthing us and spread rumors and lies.

For example, we started to sell the SP10 on March 18 and completed selling our 1st gen equipment by mid June.

Is it possible to have a mining board with removable mining chips (like CPU socket/slot)?

It would give you an edge over all other manufactures. I really want to support you against the Chinese manufactures.

It's possible to do so, but it would not be feasible or economical to do so. The Rockerbox ASIC is in a BGA (ball grid array) package, which allows for a very high density of electrical connections to the circuit board substrate, as well as lower inductance on the power input and better power decoupling with capacitors. They also conduct heat to the PCB better. Replacing that with a pin grid array socket would make the whole thing bulkier and more expensive. In order to upgrade ASICs, you'd need to keep the electrical signals the same on each generation of chips, which would require a lot of forethought and planning and would make it harder to advance technology with each generation. It would also complicate heatsink design. Using sockets instead of a BGA or QFP package would make the miner slightly slower and more expensive.
Correct.

SpondooliesTech,

The SP20 is the best home miner I have ever had the pleasure of using.

I'm running 3 SP20's for an average hashrate of 3.3TH with a power draw at the wall measured by kill-a-watt as 1600W.

that brings me down below 0.5W/GH!

It may not be economically feasible for you to continue serving the home market, but you can be guaranteed I'll be a return customer if you make a new miner for us hobbyists!
Thank you for your kind words. Appreciated.

Our next gen will have replaceable ASIC (hashing) boards.
It's doesn't make sense to have replaceable single ASICs, for various reasons.

Thank you for the sentiment. AFAIK, there are two relevant Chinese manufactures today, BMT and Sfards.
I don't think they're worse than BitFury, KNC or 21e6.

Awesome! Did you liquidate your S3s? I've sold off all my S3s and replaced all with SP20E & S5s. I'm no where near the hash power you have but still in the game for now. Looking forward to timk eating his words too Smiley

Yes, I hope to make him eat his words...  I still have big plans for Washington State!  I only hope I will qualify for bulk sales with SPT starting in Quarter 4.  I plan on getting $50,000 to $100,000 in equipment the 4th Quarter and at least $50,000 for Quarter 1 of 2016.  Then $75,000 for Quarter 2 of 2016.  I will keep bumping up my purchase every quarter till I have 2,000 TH/s minimum.  I would like to have as much as 10,000 TH/s in several buildings.  We'll see how it goes...

I still have my S3+'s and S3's.  I upgraded the firmware on all of my S3's and I have them under clocked to 193 MHz @ 0625 volts.  They all are averaging 380 GH/s each.  I wanted to upgrade the firmware on all of them to at least get them down to .60 watts per GH.  I also under clocked my S4's to 180 MHz and 0675 volts.  They are all averaging about 1650 GH/s each.

I must say, "I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THESE SP20's."  WOW!!!  The software, the ease of updating firmware, etc...  TOTALLY AWESOME!!!
Thank you sir.

I find the likelihood of factory fault very low.
We shipped thousands of SP20, and this is the third or so report.
It's probably inadequate cables, but I'm not sure.

We'll ship the components to Edgar, but we can't be responsible for actually fixing it.

Edgar,
If you want to ship it back on your expense, we'll attempt to fix it and send it back.
I'm not sure it make sense economically.

Dogie, the amount of BS you're capable of producing is simply amazing.

I came to the conclusion, probably a bit too late, that nothing good will come from further interacting with you. I see you now as a negative force in this industry.

I don't intend to post anymore in your threads and I request that you won't post in ours. I intend to delete your posts without warning.

Because you didn't get the score you wanted? Really?
When I'm weighting the pros and cons of further interacting with you, the cons wins big time.

Look at your contribution and "legacy" in the Hardware subsection. The last three months thought me that you're mainly concerned with self promoting your threads.
The hardware reviews are a shining example. Even now you call them spam.

I wrote it before, your actions sucks the life out of hardware.
Your actions surrounding the manufacturers's poll are another shining example.

I don't intend to reply further.
