OK well I'll give it a try.
WTB 1/10 oz Gold Canadian Maple Leaf or Gold American Eagle for $95 USD worth of BTC.
Order good for 3 days.
(I assume payer pays shipping?)
Just factor shipping into your ask. Also buyer doesnt get to choose what type of gold. The reason it has to be this way is I want to build a market and inorder to have a market the good has to be homogeneous. Which means if I allow buyers to specify the type of gold, than i have to break it up into different orderbooks for different products. Which means liquidity gets cut in half or thirds or quarters ect... Sorry, if this is deal breaking let me know and ill pull it down. Gold coins from countries (Us, Canada, Aus) have a premium over spot, however, a third party round or bar doesn't possibly have as high of a premium. But, I guess for 1/10 oz it's not too much of a variance. So, that's fine. So, my price includes shipping to me right?

If it is possible to transfert factoid already I WTB at IPO price (for around 5 btc) if someone need to cash out some btc.
Transaction passing by escrow is compulsory.
PM me if interested
The IPO ended 5 months ago so you can't buy it at that price. However you can buy it here https://www.dcxtx.com/OrderBook.aspx for 0.008 btc per FCT. Very cheap. What was the IPO price? That said, I've seen many coins/assets drop below their IPO price. Please, Example any IPOs. For the minute. Are you realize that FACTOM project can be equally compared with ETH project? Are you realize the huge scale of innovations here? I think that you don't. To campare Factoids with scamcoin's IPOs is a big failure. I think you are realizing this. The first big IPO had ETHEREUM past year. FACTOM is the second big blockchain project in IPO history. Viacoin Crypty GetGemsetc. People are fickle. If they don't start seeing huge price jumps within weeks they start selling. This has nothing to do with the underlying technology or usefulness of the project. Technical superiority doesn't always win in the market place. I guess no one will know the actual price till an actual exchange picks it up.
I'm extremely surprised none of the well-known exchanges have done so already. The software works.... I would not say those would be considered blockchain 2.0 projects, like factom. +1 It's not correct to compare those tiny projects with the top-notch blockchain 2.0 unique Factom project backing by big investors and independent company with top developers team on the board. You guys conflating things that I didn't say. I said, Coins do/will trade below their IPO. An IPO price is no magic bullet or bottom line support price. These are the markets you are talking about.. investors and speculators don't really care that this is a "top notch blockchain 2.0" project. Even in the corporate world stocks lose value from IPO prices. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-09-14/many-of-the-companies-that-went-public-in-the-past-year-are-trading-below-their-offering-price It's not unheard of and it does happen. Perhaps it won't for Factom, perhaps it will. Perhaps it won't for Etherium perhaps it will (it probably will.) I think it happened for Bitshares too, which people said could never happen.

People could buy/sell Canadian Maple leafs. Not legal tender in the US.
Also, aren't there already gold dealers that accept BTC for buy/sell of gold bullion and coin? I'm not sure why I would use your service over theirs? Is the idea that you have no KYC requirements?

Over the weekend I implemented a SuperNET agent that implements coinshuffle, a fully decentralized mixer, called Jumblr. It has no central server and you always control your coins at all times. for BTCD there is no fee other than the txfee which is set to 0.01, for BTC the cost is 0.1%. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1179305.msg12407691#msg12407691Looking for peoples for the GUI and also testing. bounties available James Why do we need a mixer if we have teleport? Isn't teleport supposed to allow anon sending of BTC?

lol creating accounts just to troll, kids these days I guess some people prefer to live in a centralized world which is controlled by govs & NSA & banks Who wants freedom right ! Some people have too much time on their hands.

Gems are not shares of the company. But if the company is successful they would surely be worth a good bit because of the demand.
Gems can represent multiple things, some like to use it as shares of the application, some use it as an in-app currency. It's pretty versatile where you can shape it for what purpose you want, but eventually they will be used more as the in-app currency to drive the whole economical network within the app. My take, Gems are a private token withing the GemGems eco system/economy. The value of a Gem is based on the value of the network, ie, active users. Gems are not a security that gives you a fractional ownership of the GetGems "entity". Even though GetGems was financed by selling their private token for a fungible currency (Bitcoin) you didn't buy ownership. So, if GetGems is sold to Google for $1B your share would be 0. That is, unless GetGems issues a security (stock/counterpary asset) and your purchased those.

No I still think gems could be traded etc. Just if you buy gems in app, you must use them for advertising (or maybe buying stuff in the store). You cant just buy, withdraw, then go convert to Bitcoin or whatever. That would cause alot of chaos I believe. Users would still get the gems from the advertisers and will be free to do what they want with them afterwards.
I'm sure they are thinking this stuff through.
If you buy them in app i would guess they would be available in your wallet, not sure how you are going to restrict users from sending the buyed gems to other gg users or withdrawing them. I must have missed something. Why would you want to prevent this?

Explain the economics of a 75% interest rate?
Also, explain how this:
Total supply: 400000000 (400 million)
works with this Unlimited 75% interest
Is it unlimited or is the total supply 400 million?
PurePOS indeed.

Basically, as long as you have auto-rebuy ON you will never get your principal back? You aren't buying new contracts you are just increasing the hashrate of the contract you have thus increasing your principle amount.
Is that correct?

BTW: I still haven't gotten any GEMs for my two refferals. (Waiting for this to be fixed before I refer more)

So has the Factom blockchain launched yet? It is possible to buy Factoids publicly yet?

Nice article... although a small technical error where it says the Gem(z) wallet/transfers is on the block chain. It is off chain, so stored on Gems' server(s). But, easily mitigated by not storing the bulk of your Gems in the GetGems wallet, but in a couterparty wallet.

Is there a hosted version of this?

Hi,I bought me some GEMZ,but now it looks like there is no wallet LOl Is there a way to store GEMZ.I made counterparty wallet but dont see how to add GEMZ. And can GEMZ in GETGEMZ be taken out, else adding some sounds like a bad idea.
I have mine in counterwallet https://counterwallet.coindaddy.io/ and in the app its self. Yes i got the wallet, so i can send btc and GEMZ to my address #1? Don't send gems to the BTC address or they will be in a kind of limbo. To which address should he send it then? Gems uses btc address, at first in counterwallet there is no gemz folder so i sent my gemz to address #1 and they arrived fine in a newly made gemz folder Notice there are two addresses when you are in wallet. If you hit the "Receive" button the QR code says at the top either: "Request GEMS using this QR code" or "Request BTC using this QR code" depending on if you are looking at your GEMS balance or your BTC balance. While they are both "bitcoin" addresses make sure you use the correct address for the correct coin. If you send GEMS to the BTC address the wallet won't see those GEMS. ---- DOH! I just realized you are talking about the counterwallet. Yea, any of those addresses are fine for BTC and/or GEMS. I thought you were talking about the GetGems wallet. Carry on, nothing to see here.

Ah thanks. I assume the same pass phrase works in both? It's the same code hosted on different servers.
