There's a couple of things to bear in mind, in my opinion. Firstly, remember that MrCoins is a likely whale himself, and there's not many of them so it's in their interests to keep each other relatively sweet as if any one of them bales then it will drive their collective investment down in value. For that reason I think there's a certain amount of toleration of bullshit that goes on between them.
Secondly, remember that MrCoins is a seasoned investor, and not just in crypto. For all his happy-clappy-community-cheerleading-positivism, he knows exactly what's going on and has been around the block enough times to probably make very worthwhile suggestions behind the closed doors of the whale meetings, though whether the team actually act on that advice is a different matter.
Thirdly, and finally, I would bet my bottom dollar that even though he publicly presents himself as having lost out big time in XPY, he was shrewd enough to mitigate the loss in reality, and maybe even came out with profit. He's been involved in too many crypto communities to have not seen the signs, even when publicly he presented himself as otherwise. The other whales likely realise this and follow his lead to an extent because honestly, they're all driven by the same desire -- money.
How is it that being so smart he ends up investing in at least two shitty coins one after another? One outright scam and one... whatever this is, lame comedy of some sort. In general, I'm pretty bearish on the longevity of altcoins as a whole. With that being said, there is an exception in my platform. I am *very* bullish on the role of altcoins in online gaming.
I've got money in GameCredits and BitCrystals currently, and looking to hedge my portfolio. Any other altcoins that are looking to play a role in the gaming economy? I know there is GoldPieces but I think it's dead? And IIRC some streamer was developing an MMO with a crypto but I can't remember the name of it.
digibyte, dgb ticker, has dgbgaming for csgo and wow i think. its been around for a while. id read topics about coins in gaming before investing in them. there are many intransparent trust us coins. eboost and ion come to mind. |

Sasha of Waves has already sold his Bytes (for a ridiculously low sum of btc, if I may add), so the Bytes are now in someone else's hands, and I don't think that someone who wanted to have such a big amount of Bytes did that just to dump them. We will see. It's the same. waves dev dumped hard all byteballs to take btc. but at begginning he wrote that he only divide byteball to wtc holder, NOT btc. i tend to agree. they'll line up for round 2,3,4. it'd be fine if it was an individual claiming but it doesnt help with a broad distribution like tony wanted. i hope he does closed distribution methods next time to spread it out. waves and other icos actually work against community doing this particularly a free dist. they really should be content with their raised funds and step back |

Are other people also experiencing unusually low stake interest? It was supposed to go slightly lower after block 1471200 (check OP), but in my case it dropped a lot: I'm getting around 5.6% APR now...  year 3 arrived. stake was modified last fork. best you can hit now is 10% apr. makes the coin more scarce. time to use it, promote it and trade it. the reduced stake was done to prevent inflation increasing. 780 million coins in the wild. |

I have invested 4 figures range into eboost ico and am starting to think I was scammed.I bought coins after I saw that their coin would be able to bet and exchange the coin and it would be adopted by major gaming platforms but I believe that I have been scammed as none of that has happened since the launch of the coin and the developers don't seem to be returning my emails. Does anyone have any advice at what I should do?

But so far, no word from any of the developers and doesn't work on any games, much less the ones I play. I am staring to think it was just a big scam and I am going to loose all my money.
