501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RaiBlocks (XRB) is going to be a top 10 coin on: December 28, 2017, 06:29:06 PM
Problem is that its gone up so much these few weeks that any whales haven't been able to properly dump yet because its only on 1 exchange. If you look at the buy orders its very small as opposed to the sell orders which are quite large. Any whale deciding to dump and take out their profit because they became a millionaire will take the price down with it.

So it might only be pumping to get dumped on larger exchanges.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Name some New/Undervalued Coins with Masternodes on: December 28, 2017, 06:26:59 PM
There's LuxCoin which uses a new tech called parallel masternodes. Its doing pretty good.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you think about this ICO? on: December 28, 2017, 06:24:51 PM
I am a huge fan of Sci-Fi, AI, VR and stuff like that. That's why this ICO is particularly interesting to me.

Neurogress is a company that develops a software for neuron controlling. Controlling things with your thoughts.
They test a beta version of their software since October according to their roadmap.
Long story short, that's the concept in a few words:

1) You put a neuro interface on your head
2) This neuro interface connects to any device like PC, smartphone, etc, and reads the signals your brain produces
3) The desired action is performed
In my opinion, Neurogress will bring a whole new level of VR. Of course, gaming is not the primary goal. The main goal is to create "smart" prosthetics controlled by the power of thought.

I think this can get a huge ROI in the long run when mass adoption of such technologies will begin. Someday neuro interfaces will be as ubiquitous as smartphones. What do you think about this whole thing?

VR is still unproven as medically safe and a lot of complaints come forward from dizziness to hurting eyes. Seems risky getting into it because if its not safe then well there goes your industry, unless they find a solution for that on a short term I'm not touching anything VR related.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Age of crypto enthousiasts on: December 28, 2017, 12:55:35 AM
Wondering what the age is of many crypto enthousiasts, I hear its mostly people around 30 years old.

506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VTC into XRB or ICX? on: December 28, 2017, 12:25:34 AM
Basically its your choice, I hold both and they are both for a longer term. ICX is break-even atm but I'll see where it is 6 months from now.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Heads up - Mcafee's twitter is hacked on: December 28, 2017, 12:23:37 AM
Already confirmed his official account has been hacked. Does the quick tweet affected some pumps?

Yes it did, BAT got pumped pretty hard. But I think people also have bots linked to his calls that auto buy when he says his coin, so I suppose some people lost a lot of money today.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Heads up - Mcafee's twitter is hacked on: December 27, 2017, 11:36:39 PM
Could be the "officiaI" account where the L is actually an uppercase i. But even the real account is just a cash grabbing pumper that should be shunned along with Palm Beach.

No its his official I follow him for a while now.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Heads up - Mcafee's twitter is hacked on: December 27, 2017, 10:56:44 PM
He's currently calling a lot of coins and telling people to buy buy buy. He's obviously hacked so turn of your bots and don't follow his calls for now.

510  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Verkoop van Riple op LiteBit on: December 27, 2017, 10:46:23 PM
Allen,

511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DAG coins like raiblocks? on: December 27, 2017, 10:38:25 PM
Hello, are there more DAG coins on the horizon like Raiblocks? Thanks. What do you think of the technologie behind it?

Cheers

Tech is pretty interesting. Especially if you consider that Raiblocks basically is what Satoshi wanted. He said he didn't really like the mining part of his system, some blockchains have replaced this with masternodes. But Raiblocks basically has it all a comb of Blockchain and DAG giving a scalable method of P2P transacting, decentralised, no fees and being able to process like 7k transactions p/s which is huge.
512  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin refunds on: December 27, 2017, 07:03:02 PM
Most probably, they will refund the same address they received money from, so you should see coins in your wallet (if they do the refund)

Alright thanks, I assume they will. They seem to be pretty trustworthy but I'm kinda glad I got refunded.. rushed into it without really taking the time to analyze it properly.
513  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcoin refunds on: December 27, 2017, 06:39:47 PM
Hello, newb question here:

If I send an ICO BTC and they promise a refund if its sold out - which is the case atm with Jibrel. How do they know what address to refund it to? I used electrum wallet not an exchange wallet to be sure since I kind of expected it to be sold. I see on blockexplorer 1 input and 2 outputs. I suppose they will send it to the address where the input address is shown?

Thanks for your help and explenation!
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thank you MCFEEE on: December 27, 2017, 02:03:15 AM
Would've made more, but i panick too much and put small orders.

515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRB - Raidblocks must buy??? on: December 27, 2017, 01:37:23 AM
40% in a single day, can anyone explain me what the fuck is happening to Raidblocks? I wanted to invest when it was less than $0,30, but i was not able because i didn't had liquidity during those days (just a week ago lmao) But now it is over $0,80

People see IOTA in the top5 whilst XRB is far better, so in that sense its still undervalued.
516  Other / Politics & Society / Re: One World Government? Bitcoin is the future currency? on: December 27, 2017, 12:19:16 AM
Is it almost the time where our world will be one and the people will be attached with the RFID's and also a one world currency?
Mark of the beast, the word mark in greek word means stamp. In the bible, Revelation Chapter 13: 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Is this the start of the One world government? The implant microchips or the RFID's that makes them control the people of what they do and track them where they are. If ever the time comes will bitcoin survive in the future or not. No one knows

I don't really believe in revelation prophecy but I've made my mind up to never implant chips into my body. Guess it will be guillotine for me.
517  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump's UN Christmas Gift on: December 27, 2017, 12:13:38 AM
YES!

I love it. Time to dump that stupid, Russian controlled, UN.

What do you think?

Cool

Given that the UN hasn't ever really solved any situations but arguably made them worse I'd say its a good move to cut spending. But to say UN is Russian controled.. USA is actually the largest spender plus the UN HQ is in the USA.

But likely it won't matter because just like simpsons have predicted Trump's presidency he will bankrupt the nation what is also predicited sending Bitcoin skyrocketing into the by Mcafee prophesized 1 million dollar. Ofcourse those 1 million dollars won't mean anything by then since the currency is hyper inflated but instead you can buy a very nice Pent House in California.
518  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Communism Vs Capitalism Which Do You Think The Better Economy System'? on: December 27, 2017, 12:10:09 AM
Both can work, both won't work because of human selfishness. Communism is designed for equality. Captilism is designed to increase productivity but both have severe negative consequences.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: December 26, 2017, 11:51:39 PM
We'll see within a few months. Actually I was just reading up on Iota some more and turns out it is vulnerable to hacking. You only need more than 33% of the hashing power of the network to overcome it. I suspect Sky has similar vulnerability. Skycoin doesn't have the sheer hashing power to prevent a hack. Those supposed miners are low power.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Read about the obelisk on their blog, they are not vulnerable.

I agree with Sirbin, Skycoin is completely different from what you're used to. So before you make a fool out of yourself and make biased assumptions why not first research it and then start critising the project? Criticism is great but it has to have some rational foundation first and your assumption has none.
