Yeah CB!  We're 3 days into December already... Let's do this!

Yes closely towards 40k feels good to be here

Goodnight fams

Hey, everybody.
Interesting coincidence: when I had to leave the forum at 21 bitcoin was trading around $40k
and now I'm back at the same time Smiley

Why did you have to leave?  Did you get a job as Charlie Munger's butler?  Whatever the reason, you came back at the right time; things are about to get very interesting.

This is a movie of the sun over the last few days as it throws off a few coronal mass ejections directed at earth.  I believe the first of them has arrived already as I am seeing the aurora in Churchill Manitoba (latitude ~58°N), the planetary K index is currently just over 4 and projected to achieve 7.  This only happens about 130 times in the 11 year solar cycle and I don't know what the odds are of it occurring at night, while the sky is clear and preferably moonless.  It's been over 20 years since I've seen a really nice aurora and I've been keeping an eye on the activity.  I believe this is the year I get a chance to see a similar display.

You guys further west in the US and Canada should look up tonight just in case.  If you're in Alaska, bonus!

edit: I just found out that the moon is at 85% full and wont set until late tomorrow morning here... and not at all in Alaska.   Still worth a look up if you happen to be out and about.

edit 2: lol I like the way this site tells it - 4 blobs of sun coming our way!

Dammit!  I was going to hit the sack early tonight and now I'm going down memory lane with music.  Thanks guys!

...me too, lol...Kansas, Boston, Billy Joel, Don Henley...wait...wait...the fooking Animals even (with the famous "eggman" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4bFqW_eu2I)
....add Mamas and Papas...oh my..some of them released even before I listened to ANY music, haha.

EDIT: now, I got some wine going...something heavier, like Led Zepplelin, Deep Purple and the Black Sabbath (with young Ozzie):

Thankfully, I didn't go down the Led Zeppelin path last night - I would have gotten even less than 6 hours of sleep.   When I found myself watching "Old Movie Stars Dance to Uptown Funk", as entertaining as it was, I figured a little sleep would be more beneficial.
It's a two coffee morning.

Go go go BTC

39K In one hour

With the current trajectory, we'll be cutting it close but I'm cheering for bitcoin Smiley

I was a bit surprised to wake up to a greater than $38K BTC price this morning. It seems like no matter what news comes out Bitcoin is just going to keep rallying. Feels like it is going to end the year above the $40K mark which in itself might be enough to get some people off the sidelines and into the market once the total year performance is in the books.

Kraken getting sued.
CZ steps down, pleads guilty.
Funds safu, I hope...

Bitcoin is down a couple of hundred correction is coming the ASHWSB said to keep buying more and more Just buy more and more guys and keep the hodl. All time high is on the way.

Everyone's an expert when it's going up.  I get it - hopium - but that guy doesn't have any more of a clue than any other Bitcoinist(a) and he might have even less of a clue pushing shitcoins as he does!  He's still in the red from late 2021 (specifically Nov. 29th 2021) when he was predicting 100K BTC by year end... I guess he technically didn't say which year end but hopefully nobody was holding their breath.  FFS, my own mother was begging me to help her to buy some bitcoin at that time and I said, "No! Don't be silly." and I had to explain FOMO to her for the second time - first time being the Dec. 2017 mooning.  I remember trying to get her and dad to just by a couple when they were ~$100 each to no avail.  My dad was like, "...but what is it?!", "...can I hold on in my hand?!", "if you can't f*ck it or eat it; piss on it!"  or something like that.

nice looking too.  they are a great commercial. I didn't know Australia was that fucked up.

Considering Australia began modern-day life as a penal colony for wayward Irish folks (mostly thieves) they're not doing too badly; it could have gone Mad Max Smiley

yeah i spent two weeks there back in 1980 Sydney was very nice.

Despite all odds that are said about Australia, its true that they have grown up nicely. Except the fact that Decembers are hot and June is Cold there.

yeah but if you live in New Jersey you can go there Nov 1 and stay til April 1 thus never having to deal with the cold and dark of winter.

It was dark by 5pm last night  (NJ)  which sucks.

Don't forget to supplement with vitamin D
