501  Economy / Speculation / Re: A chance for Bitcoin to rise! on: April 20, 2019, 04:54:36 PM
Well by december of last year i think i was the best time for investing i remember the $30 lite coin as a stable coin jokes now the invester have like X3 profit and bitcoin1.5 profit. I think always an oportunnity just be patient men. Been part of the BTT family help u alot, mainly for me because theres no other one i know in my country who know aboyt the crypto world.
There are always good opportunities in the markets but people do not have the guts to take them, the market of cryptocurrencies had so many opportunities to profit from it and yet most people took none of those chances and now they are lamenting they did not do so, so the lesson is clear whenever you see a good coin having a low price that is the moment to invest in it and hold it.
502  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: April 20, 2019, 04:45:14 PM
Trading is not really unhealthy, what it can be unhealthy are the attitudes that some people have towards it, however it is true that you may get some medical issues if you trade too much, like problems with your eyesight, but all occupations are going to have some sickness associated with them due to their nature but those can be easily solved by just taking care of your body.
503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: April 20, 2019, 04:31:49 PM
well, some people might think that those who hold in the long run are idiots. but, when prices get higher, and sell at the right time, they will surely think that they are doing something too late. well, in this case, it's better not to think about what other people think. focus on the strategies that we have made will be better in the future.
People are only saying this now that the market has been down for a very long time but at the end of 2017 long term holders were considered geniuses for holding their coins for so long, and I am sure the image that we have of long term holders will change once again once the price of bitcoin begins to skyrocket and people will wish they held like them but by then it will be too late.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the Top potential coin to buy now? on: February 28, 2019, 04:40:46 AM
The market of cryptocurrencies changes really fast, one day a coin could be skyrocketing and the next the coin is crashing so it is impossible to know which coin is the correct one to buy if you do not concentrate on watching the markets every day and try to find that coin by yourself because by the time you receive advice of a coin to buy most of the time it will be too late.

We can only use our own analysis and buy what we think will succeed in the future.

By simply making a research, I think it's not hard to determine which are legitimate coins and if you believe
that this market will grow over a period of time, you can already expect your holdings will grow in value because they have potential.
I agree but there are many people that are trying to skip that and are trying to get other people to tell them what they should do and that is when you begin to see many mistakes being made by newbies because even if they get an experimented trader to tell them what coins have the highest chance of going up they will not know why that trader selected those coins.
505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic selling and postpone from trading, which one is the worse one? on: February 28, 2019, 03:59:49 AM
The dynamic situation of cryptocurrency these days in general responded by three ways: selling panicly with the risk of cut-loss in order to save the remaining assets from more fallen, hold the assets and playing save by not doing any trading activities, and view the phenomenon as a diamond chance then buying coins in huge amounts of investments while the prices are low. Of course, those three ways are logically humane and each has their own pluses and minuses.

I am intrigued upon the first two: panic selling and postponing from trading.

On doing panic selling, ones tend to sell their assets in the price lower than in the actual price. The main goal is to sell their coins faster to save themselves from the worse situation, without consideration upon the impact of their behaviour towards the market in general.

Meanwhile, ones could also hold their assests and postpone from doing any trading activities, in order to keep their assets safe and even maybe went on hiatus from digital assets bussiness while waiting for the bullish days to be back. They don't want to sell their assets in low price, but the act of not doing any trading is logically also has impact in general. At least, it is contributing on slower the trading traffic.

In your opinion, which one is the worse way among the two?
By far panic selling is the worse of the two options, the ones that delay selling their coins at least are taking more time to try to consider their options and during that time they can make a better choice, those that panic sell are not really thinking, they are just reacting emotionally to what is happening in the market and that is never a good thing.
506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep your funds secured? on: February 28, 2019, 03:35:14 AM
It keeps repeating itself, most of those who store their coins inside exchange are hoping to easy up the process and avoiding transaction fees, not knowing that chances of being hacked is always there no matter how they trut the exchange, we should all practice to remove our funds after the exchange already executed to protect our investment.

Learning it from the hard way is more regretful than taking some delays and paying for some fees.
It is really ironic that the reason people keep their coins in exchanges is to save money on fees when the fees that you need to pay for a transaction are worth just a few cents but the losses that you can suffer are enormous in comparison, this is like all of those people that do not buy a hardware wallet and keep their cryptocurrency holdings in an infected computer only to lose it all.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There will be many tokens that go to zero. on: February 28, 2019, 03:16:55 AM
ICO experienced a boom at the end of 2017 - early 2018, which was followed by failure when prices dropped and state and federal regulators cracked down on projects that were in conflict with securities law.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/most-digital-tokens-will-go-to-zero-says-digital-currency-group-ceo

The majority of digital tokens will not have long-term value.
This is not really a surprise, many people were under the impression that we can have thousands of tokens with a high value and that is simply not possible, many of those projects do not even last a year and this means that anyone that takes the choice of holding those coins for the long term are going to lose all the money they invested in that ico.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel now? on: February 28, 2019, 03:03:29 AM
I can smell the burning hair on my bottom now. I recently invested another fiat in Ethereum, and today I see how the price went down. I, as always bad luck.
Do not despair I know that things are not going the way we want with ethereum but there are good reasons to believe there is going to be a turn around during the next days and if that is the case then the investment that you thought was a mistake could be one of the trades that gives to you your greatest profits of the year since I see ethereum ready to go up really fast.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warnings for token hodlers on: February 27, 2019, 12:32:26 AM
Nothing has changed till now and I hope the market will change its direction and we would finally see a real bullish market where an altcoin can give x5 during a night. We have been waiting for so long and I think it is time.
You want to multiply your money 5 times in a single day? I understand the desire to get profits but it is precisely that kind of greed what it is killing the market, people no longer invest in coins because they believe in what the developers are doing, they just want to get profits but those profits are very difficult to get since most people have understood that is what most people are looking for.
510  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can any analysis predict btc price for the next month? on: February 27, 2019, 12:28:05 AM
The current situation has caused me to hold huge sum of money that I intended putting into btc and altcoins. I know once btc jump, altcoins does same.
So the question is can anyone predict the price of btc for the next month? To enable me invest...
No one can do that and if there is anyone in the forum or in social media that tells you they can do that do not listen to them because most likely they want to somehow see you fail or in the worst case scam you, trading and investing are risky by definition and you either accept that you will never know exactly what the market is going to do or you get out of the market and do something else with your money.
511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: First hand examples of Emotional trading on: February 27, 2019, 12:24:09 AM
What are some examples of when emotions mess up your trades?
For emotions to mess up your trades you will need at first to have some rules regarding how you are going to make your trades and many people do not even have that, so their first mistake is to not have a clear strategy about what they are going to do in the markets if they go against them, once you solve that aspect of your trading you can begin to worry about how your emotions can affect you and make you to not follow your own rules.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future for cryptocurrency? on: February 27, 2019, 12:20:03 AM
With blockchain data can be stored in a decentralized public book.

With cryptocurrency, we can make anonymous transactions without centralized intervention.

If you add speed and spread to the public, then the future is cryptocurrency.

How do you think?
The technology behind cryptocurrencies is definitely going to be part of the future but the issue is that we do not know which of the many coins in the market are going to be the ones that are going to be there when the world finally realizes that we need to have money that cannot be printed by governments, I have faith in bitcoin and ethereum but when it comes to the other coins I am not so sure.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The dump has started for 2019 on: February 27, 2019, 12:16:05 AM
I don't think whales can manipulate the market maybe the people tired of holding cryptos because of this bad condition in the market, it is so sad that we still face down market.
Of course they can, this is no different than a business that holds a monopoly of a technology or a service, they can ask whatever price they want for their services and they will get it, the whales are the same, with the huge amount of coins they have they can crash the market if they want or they can make the price to go up but it seems they are deciding to accumulate more coins and prepare themselves for the next bull market.
Yes, this market is like where they play and whatever they can do. Because they have large funds and large amounts of coins. As a small trader, I play safer by trading every day. But this is also risky because every day you must always monitor the Crypto market.
As long as you are smart and you have a tight stop loss you have nothing to be afraid of the whales, just make sure that you have the necessary amount of knowledge before you begin to trade because there are many people that think they have what it is necessary only to find out too late that was not the case and then they lose the money they invested in the market.
514  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret it not selling at peaked on last jan 2018 ? on: February 21, 2019, 12:51:24 AM
I do regret not selling my coins when I had the chance, but it is also true that I was not prepared to do something like that, just recently I have begun to improve my knowledge about the markets and now I am more confident in my skills and I know that if a new bull market comes I will be capable of taking that kind of decision but back in the day I was not ready for the responsibility of selling my coins and making a mistake.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it good to invest in ETH? on: February 21, 2019, 12:47:05 AM
I believe in this project. That is why I keep this coin in my investment portfolio. It seems to me that this coin can multiply my investments several times.
You are doing the right thing, for the last months there has being a lot of FUD trying to make it seem as if ETH was in great trouble and that it was going to disappear, it was all nonsense but people believed it anyway and that was the reason behind the huge crash of ethereum but now we are seeing that is not true and that the developers are working hard to make their project even better.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins to buy now for 2019? on: February 21, 2019, 12:43:26 AM
this year I will hold Eos, ETH, Litecoin and TEN. because price developments are now starting to increase, so I persist in the long run with prices higher than current prices.
ETH is doing very well and there is a big chance that it is going to be doing well at least for another month and maybe even longer now that the update is so close to happen just make sure to try to take advantage of this opportunity and sell your coins once you get your desired profits that way you can multiply your money very safely in just a few months.
517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: February 21, 2019, 12:33:17 AM
Trying to become a trader is not for those that are not willing to take all the necessary steps to win, if you are thinking about trading because of the profits but you do not want to make the effort forget about trading, because there is a minority of traders doing everything they can to get an edge and you will not last long against those people once you are in the market.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is the best time to buy Altcoin? on: February 20, 2019, 12:54:39 AM
best time to buy, its when bull run coming.
Now all what you need to do feel when it start!
Waiting for bull run to come or at the glance of bull might not be the best. The concern most times is , how are you sure it is bull run that is coming?
The best in my opinion, should be that you try to research for good coin at a price that you feel is low and not wait for bull run to come before you do that. Do not be surprised, that your timing of bull run might not be the best.
If you are willing to wait for a long time then your timing is irrelevant, if you buy bitcoin now or any other promising altcoin then it does not matter when the bull comes the only thing that matters is that you can hold your coins for long enough to see that market, something that is very easy if you are holding some of the best coins in the market.
519  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ready to Jump in Crypto. Again! (Looking for Advise) on: February 20, 2019, 12:45:51 AM
whassup, you know any groups about forecasts or short updates on buying/selling?

Do not join any of those groups, many are making it seem as if they are giving signals but the group is a pump and dump group, the owner of the group buys coins before he gives the signal then when he gives the signal everyone begins to buy and it may seem as if the signal is correct but that is only because everyone is following his lead then he sells and everyone losses his money except the one giving the signal.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Cryotocurrency gives you excitement? on: February 20, 2019, 12:37:02 AM
Truthfuly speaking I felt this excitement last year when every day I woke up I saw everyday increase. The last half of the year my excitement got a little bit down
Back in the day it was easy to think we were going to make a lot of money because the market did not stop growing and then all of a sudden the growth stopped and the crash began and since then many of us have been having losses so it is natural that our excitement is not as high as it was before but I am sure that during the next years we will have that excitement again.

Right, and how time flies, I think the 2017 boom was still fresh in my mind. Very excited to see the price jumps everyday in thousands of dollars and market cap is worth even bigger that the biggest company we have heard. I would say that there's no more excitement and it gets boring at days specially there's no movement in the price of all major coins.
Yes, it is incredible to think that more than a year has passed since bitcoin reached its all time high, it all seems like it happened yesterday, many people got out of the market and it is likely they will never comeback since they will remember all the money they lost, but even if I lost money I am not willing to give up because I know very well the potential that bitcoin still holds.
