541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Drops Below $15k, Down 25% from All-Time High on: December 22, 2017, 06:26:42 PM
Do you hear this sound? What is it? And yes, it's the screeching of hamsters who pour their crooks, hoping not to lose everything. Not the guys, the bubble is still intact, just a little blown away, as everyone expected. Capitalization sank by almost 200 billion on average -30% from assets. Everything falls into place. Bitcoin ended the 3th wave, after June and September, then sagged by ~ 40%. Many bet on what digit Bitcoin will stop. I think around 10k.

8 is the magic number imo, first thought 12.8k but now 8k seems to be the utter low, I think the whole herd who recently bought in are selling now again because they're afraid.
Causing it only to decline further.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins downward trend today, What is the cause. on: December 22, 2017, 06:24:36 PM
I checked coinmarketcap and from the Bitcoin be the first coins to the coin on number 82, all is depreciating in value, range of negative 30% to negative 2% for the past 24 hours. What is the cause of this downward trend?

Market correction, as anticipated we were long overdue for one and the recent growth was absurd. You could have invested in anything at random and would have gained atleast 30%.

No worries just be in it for the long haul and bite trough the bullet. Can't keep growing like we've seen recently forever, these things need to happen and they're healthy. Better is to anticipate these things as they are bound to happen and minimize losses and buy back in on the lows.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RDD price falls continuously on: December 22, 2017, 06:22:40 PM
No one bought RDD Here?  Cry Cry Cry

Yes I did, sold at around 30 sats, with a minor profit next day it was up to 150 I believe. Doesn't really matter though. These coins are generally speaking only bought on TA. There are tons of coins but most them are nowhere near suitable for a long term investment.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin fees will NEVER come down on: December 22, 2017, 01:10:00 AM
This is just how the world works. Bitcoin became a "Store of Value" Rather than a "Way of transacting" now. They have a choice to increase the block size for transactions to be faster, but they never did. Well, I guess you better find another coin if you want faster transactions.

Actually it was done, the new BTC is BCH and it is fast and has cheap transactions.

Everyone with BTC before the fork was given equal value in BCH in wallets, so now the choice is yours, use BCH to move smalls transactions fast and cheap and use BTC for storage of wealth or sell off BTC and go balls deep into BCH.

I have both but my coins are all BCH, and a nice amount of BTC was liquidated into BCH and even a few new coins, there's a short term window to make boats loads of money in alt currency, but long run IMO BTC and BCH are the only coins that will be of value 5+ years, in the meantime it's all good.

Same shit differnt name. I came in mid august so no, I didn't get any BCH ..

Well you are very late to the party and while the long term outlook for BTC is still good according to most with vested financial reasons to stay bullish, the reality is BCH is doing what BTC was designed to do in the original white paper of Sataoshi, do virtual low dollar transactions for almost nothing quickly, somehow TPTB that run the core forgot what the original paper stated was the goal, inexpensive virtual transactions for inexpensive things.

Some where from 2008 until now that direction WAS LOST until the fork happened, now we have a new Bitcoin on track with the original intent of the white paper, and everyone before August with BTC has equal coins in BCH, some dumped it early and many are holding some pretty bright pioneers are dumping BTC and saying their future will be BCH, others say the only path is BTC.

I like the idea of two coins, one for fast cheap transactions and one for store value.

Both are holds for the next few years IMO.

After 2020, who knows.

Sure BCH is probably a good investment, but if you're talking about a purely p2p cash system then BCH already failed because people are holding it instead of spending it.
You're talking about investing not what can I pay with properly and there BCH takes the coffee but it doesn't get used for that.

Still need to be able to transact for it to work as a store of value..

Hey which coins with a Marketcap under 20mio are worth to look and Invest ? I got xspec since $0,30 and look for more coins with awesome small caps. I don't expect x1000 coins.

549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: McAfee speaks coins and tokens on: December 21, 2017, 07:15:57 PM
Because of John McAfee's statement, I saw a pump in ETN's value from $0.07 to $0.105. So far, Electroneum has not been adopted massively just yet. When it does get enough partnerships and deals from various companies or so, expect that it will pump higher than ever.

Speaking of John McAfee, he would launch his own McAfee Coin and can be bought using the Universa platform instead of Ethereum.

Verge hasn't either but its pumped pretty hard now.
550  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin going down? on: December 21, 2017, 05:44:46 PM
This is just a required correction taking place. Bitcoin hit the first bottom at $16k and then the second bottom at $14.5k. Now, if we go by TA, bitcoin will touch $20k within a week. By tomorrow BTC will be bullish. Altcoins are bullish and one should try to accumulate more in dips. So, don't worry about BTC value and try to multiply your BTC amount through altcoins. BTC will end up at good price by year end.

Yeah exactly, BTC is following a pretty obvious pattern I suspect it to go down to 12.8k though before climbing again and setting a new ATH.

Hope that it will continue following the pattern or we might see a bearmarket next year... but it seems unlikely for now.
551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoun going down? on: December 21, 2017, 05:32:53 PM
We are all seeing that the price of Bitcoin is going down after a great pic. A lot of people predicted that its price can reach 20K at the end of this year.. but because of the fees this does not work.

It already hit 20k... it was long overdue for a correction as is this whole market. Bitcoin rises and drops and rises and drops and then rises again. Its completely healthy
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: McAfee speaks coins and tokens on: December 21, 2017, 03:48:27 PM
Shill master lvl 99

agreed, I can't even believe he picked ETN to talk about lol. yes, we can expect a lot more shilling - pump n dumps

It isn't that suprising I was pretty salty with the locked ETN but it does actually make sense as a purposefull token in gaming and gambling, they also want to reach beyond those industries and make it a household name. They did think it trough very well and are probably the first ICO that got investors to join who are in no way experienced with crypto and this is basically besides BTC and ETH the first crypto they're buying (since you needed either two to purchase ETN to begin with). I wouldn't be suprised if this actually goes beyond Litecoin Marketcap. I'm holding this one because I think that within a few years from now this could be a 25billion+ marketcap coin.

I couldn't believe Verge aswell but look at what happened to it. If I stayed open minded I could have made 20x my money or more. Many people didn't believe ADA but now its gone 20-25x from its first launch on CMC. Luckily I did ride that wave since I believe in Cardano.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / McAfee speaks coins and tokens on: December 21, 2017, 03:22:41 PM
So McAfee has decided to give daily reports on coins he thinks that are going to change the world and this is the first one: Electroneum - ETN.

Are we going to see a pump like on Verge? Verge pumped a good 100% and is still going strong. I personally thought Verge wasn't that much of a coin but I like to be proven wrong.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PRL the first 100* times coins with in the last 2 months???? on: December 21, 2017, 02:45:01 PM
Infact it was trading for .0022 USD on nov 23rd and now it is at .32 USD. Congrats to the PRL community

Anyone got the contract address to add it to custom tokens? There's like 15 contract addresses on Etherscan...
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: etherdelta.com DNS hacked, do not use it!! on: December 20, 2017, 10:11:10 PM
Yes, thank you for the notice.  Bitcointalk should have stickies for these... and this is one of the few times the word 'hacked' was used correctly.  Curious... since I've linked EtherDelta to MEW, what would happen if I just visited the site?  Would it pass my private key for just visiting it or do I have to interact with it?

The site will redirect you to a phising site if I understand it correct. So no you won't be hacked but if you go on ED, get redirected and fill out your keys then yes.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Datum on: December 20, 2017, 10:00:39 PM
Happy Holidays.
I'd like to let everyone know that Datum, which offers
a really good product, has just as good a team.
If you get a chance to check it out & have questions, just
ask. They were very courteous and prompt. That's nice to
find in a field where I sometimes have a hard time finding
contact information.

I have read trough their whitepaper several times and quite frankly I think its bogus. The product/service they offer clearly has not been thought trough.

1. Fails to mention and clarify purchasing data in bulk and if this is possible
2. Fails to mention how companies are supposed to live up to each persons unique terms and conditions
3. If data can be bought in bulk; refer to point 2
4. Relies upon public demand to get some kind of data processing monopoly with government and legal support. (never going to happen) (litterly in their whitepaper)
5. If they don't get that monopoly there's 0 reason to use Datum for individuals and companies alike since they can go to a 100 other places to buy Data with better conditions.
6. Purchasing data would be an expensive endavour on Datum as you need a ton of time sifting trough all the unique terms & conditions and respecting those when purchased.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I can't see how this raised 40+ million was it? Guess nobody read the whitepaper which is all marketing fluff anyway.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Naga coin wallet on: December 20, 2017, 09:54:22 PM
Hi

which wallet should I use to send my naga coins. I want to use the HITBTC exchange.

I cannot find anywhere an info if the Ether wallet is also compatible with the naga coins until there is no own seperated wallet.

Bitfinex wrote in that the Ether wallet is compatible for ERC 20.

Does that work as well for the Ether wallet at HITBTC, Cannot find any info.
thx

1. Its not listed yet
2. You should be able to log in to your NAGA account and go to your balance and fill in your ERC20 address to which it will be distributed.

Yes it is an ERC20 token but it will have its own wallet in April 2018. Seems like more projects are doing this as of recent. Issue token on Ethereum and then build your own wallet and/or blockchain.

note: You should have received an email about your tokens or else you can just log into Naga account and I'm sure it should be all quite obvious.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano the new NEO? on: December 20, 2017, 09:52:09 PM
Hi,

I think Cardano will be a lot bigger.
What do you think?

The new NEO?
Edit: I mean NEO because the price will increase a lot Smiley

Please don't compare these two projects like that. Cardano is amazing but it doesn't have to live in the shadows of NEO
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favourite ongoing/upcoming ICOs on: December 20, 2017, 09:47:41 PM
My favourite ICO right now is Ankorus, which is offering a never before seen option: If they don't reach the cap you get back your money AND keep their tokens.

https://medium.com/@Ankorus/many-happy-returns-tge-final-week-token-opportunity-from-ankorus-44f88643718

Yeah I'm caught up with Ankorus myself. I think this is a real winner.

Other ICOs i'm in:

Naga
Universa
Covesting
Soferox
Bankera

Its getting crowded with ICOs though.. At first I could easily find some juicy ICOs to get in on during presale but now its getting a bit harder.
