If you live to be 80-y-o, haven't you pooped out your body several times over, replacing the dead cells with new ones, built from what you ate and breathed in? The last time your life is simply stripped of all the physical stuff, and is held in darkness (for people like you) but in a temporary body, in paradise (an intermediate place for believers until the final end of all things in the judgment). But there are a few scientists in this realm that are recognizing that life here isn't the end, and that God does exist. Atheism or also called atheism is a view, they assume that God does not exist. Atheists are not something new, they have been around since around 1000 BC. They claim that religious people will think God is perfect, but often portray this in contradictory and incoherent ways. Many characteristics are associated with God, some of which are impossible and some combinations are just as impossible in their realistic mind. I have never met any theist who could provide a clear definition of what God is. Not what it did, what it does, or who he is? What is God composed of? Give me its chemical composition or forever shut up about this fictional character. |

Nope. "Science" means "knowledge" in Latin (well, "scientia" did). As that, not being able to prove the existence of a given deity (or even of all deities) doesn't mean deities don't exist. Religions should be able to prove their respective god's existence, while atheism should be able to prove no gods actually exist. Until then, this is gonna remain a philosophical matter.
We can only disprove the specific claims. For example: 1. World was created in 6 days. Why is it false: Universe is at least 13.8 billion years old. 2. Jesus was resurrected. Why is it false: Cell death is an irreversible process. 3. Snake talked in the past. Why is it false: The anatomy of snakes prevents them from being able to talk. 4. Earth was created 10,000 years ago. Why is it false: Human-made artifacts older than 30,000 have been found. The evolution of life on Earth has been going on for at least 3.5 billion years. 5. Muhammad flew on Buraq to ... Why is it false: Horses do not have wings and cannot fly. Human and horse gametes would not produce viable offspring. A general claim that X exists cannot be proven or disproven. Most people who say that X exists do not even know how to define X. It is impossible to read the Bible and not realize what it is. You have to be completely ignorant of the scientific facts to accept any of the
stories as truths. 10,000 years old, flat Earth, talking snakes, making humans out of dirt, or human bones, making plants before the Sun, or bacteria. Virgin pregnancies? Hell or heaven concepts, resurrection, three Gods in one, etc. Not to mention the moral code, slavery, prostituting your own daughters, misogyny, discrimination of women and gays, cannibalism, killing children, killing whole tribes, the list goes on...
The Bible is a vile book written by primitive psychopaths over the course of 2,500+ years. It should be studied and ridiculed for what it is.
You have told us your personal church history in the past. You switched your religions - Roman Catholic to man-made science - because you wanted to, not because Bible truths don't make sense. The Bible is a wonderful book. It shows the love of God for you, in the fact of the life, suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus, God's Son, for you. God is trying to give you eternal life, through His Son Jesus. And it pains Him that all that you seem to want to do is throw your life away. You are on the verge of making a new start. The Catholic Church is not the right place. Nor is man-made science. Your better bets are Lutheran, Baptist, Presbyterian, or one of the many non-denominational curches. You still do not understand. I do not need religion to feel content with my life, or have a purpose in life. I find these religious cults repugnant, insincere, and childish. Maybe because I know for sure that there is no life after death. Life and death are mutually exclusive. The chemical elements and the energy stored in the chemical bonds in your body are just recycled. That is it. You are wasting your time. |

Even the Bible supports the view that Jesus's disciples stole his body, found someone similar and faked his wounds. - Here is where you are wrong. Nobody becomes a believer by reading and understanding the words of the Bible alone. Rather, the Holy Spirit uses the words of the Bible to work faith in the hearts of those who are too spiritually weak to resist Him. You and yours who have stronger spiritual strength, simply resist the work of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit doesn't force anybody, but rather, gives everybody freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). So, faith is God's doing, but unbelief is the doing of the unbelievers.
The Bible mentions that many people didn't recognize Jesus after his "resurrection" (Luke 24:13-35 or John 21). Even Mary Magdalena first didn’t recognize Jesus or his voice (John 20:15). - Mary had tears in her eyes, and her own crying in here ears. | The Luke section shows that recognition was hidden at first, but then it was given. | John 21 shows hat they recognized Jesus. How far away does anybody have to be before you can't tell who it is? They didn't have binoculars in those days.
