Alright.
Any idea on how to sign a message with an ethereum address?
Don't have to explain in detail just give me a few pointers and I'll google the rest.
IMO, that address is too new to use as proof. Read the sticky COMPLETELY to see what IS accepted. If your proof is NOT listed there, it may not even be considered. The exceptions seem to be a FEW alt coin addresses. ID, photos and notes from Mom probably will be ignored.

This Is My Biggest Question While The DT(Lauda) Are Fighting Against The Account Sellers Why Theymos Just Doesn't Prohibit It?
This has been covered over and over again. No need for another thread.

Bumping this just to remind I'm still waiting patiently. Already sent message to cyrus with signed message. Thanks
Where did you find this address? That was from my PM back in 2015. Link?

How many times does it need to be stated? Read the damn sticky! If you can not prove ownership, why should the account be locked?

View Profile Personal Message (Offline) Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords March 02, 2014, 08:45:09 PM #1 If you use any sort of Google email service, then the password recovery email will go to your spam folder.
If you want us to recover a hacked/lost account, you need to prove that you own it. Typically, the only acceptable method of proving ownership is by signing a message (including current date and desired new email address) using a Bitcoin address or PGP key associated with the account. A Bitcoin address or PGP key is associated with the account only if the account posted the key/address, sent it in a PM, or if it is still listed in the account's profile.
I very rarely recover accounts if you can't prove ownership as described above. There are alternative ways of proving ownership, but they take too much time. If I point you to this thread, you can't prove ownership properly, and then I ignore your future PMs, this means that I'm not going to recover your account. Create a new one.
Send one PM to either me or Cyrus. When sending a PM, use a template like this:
Quote -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- My account <account> has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to <email>. The current date is <date>. -----BEGIN SIGNATURE----- <insert address here> <insert signature here> -----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Here is the unedited post where I posted that address: ... OR I sent that address to someone in a PM with PM ID#...
All required info must be in one PM.
Do not create your temporary account using the same email address you want for the hacked/lost account. No two accounts can have the same email address.

Dear Admins, I just recovered my BCT Account. I paid 700$ ransom to the hacker to retrieve my account. I have seen that the hacker was shitposting and posting scams throughout the period.
So, I would like to kindly request you to delete all posts on this account from 11th Sept '17 to 22nd Oct '17
Thanking You in Advance, erwin45hacked
Can you show who and where your account was restored?

Yes i know for that BTC address in my old posts, but i'dont have anymore this address (or privvkey) so i can't sign a message. Then you may be out an account. A few ETH signed messages have been used in the past but if it's a recent addy, it is not proof.

Well they likely won't if you haven't provided sufficient evidence. Maybe just keep bumping this thread once a day or so and PM them once a week. All you can do is wait unfortunately but if you can't adequately prove the account is yours you might just be out of luck.
ID is a great proof IMO Not necessarily, but deepens if an admin will accept it. Not unless you can sign a message properly from a bitcoin address.
Hey, can you respond to my PM? I don't have an address on my hacked account, but I sent some pretty damning proof that it's me. I also got dooglus to verify my identity via Just-Dice so he tagged my old account. I can't restore accounts. Not sure how sending a message on another site is watertight proof either. How does anyone know if that account isn't compromised as well? An admin could check the ip of log-ins I guess? The account obviously started logging in from a totally new ip Read the sticky in Meta as it lays out what is accepted proof.

What does the message say?
this is the message Sorry Bram 888, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum. You have been banned by a forum moderator. You may appeal here: banappeals-w6pquw43@theymos.e4ward.com
this happen if i copy/paste or Spam if you read my posts Both of this reasons not founded How many messages did you get daily from the forum about the deletion of your post on a thread? Posts are not constructive and don't add any value to the thread as well as to the forum. Almost one liner shit are presented in 6 to 7 lines with the help of line break and line skip. These reasons might be enough to ban an account permanently.
1) not get any deleting Looks to be permanent.

It's pretty laid out what/why is accepted as proof of ownership, not sure your proof is proof or it is too time consuming.
